I wonder why the programers would put Vale in GS2 if you can't enter it. I found a way tp get to it, but when I walk at it, I just go over it :angry: And I realize that they have to put Vale in because its vital to the story, but still, they coud make it so you can't get to it :!:

It's there for the end of the game where the beams of light form the Golden Sun. They just couldn't have that happen over an empty space.

To be more precise, it's at Mt. Aleph where the beams of lights from the four lighthouses converge... for what, I won't say (don't want to spoil the nice ending :!: )

Anyway, here's something interesting to do: Go to where Lamakan and Suhalla Deserts were... and you can actually walk over the entire area and see just how large they really are (like when you go to Air's Rock, the sand like region surrounding it)...

As for Vale... yeah, more for plot purposes and to annoy you :angry:

They tried to stop you from going there. They just didn't check that spot by Loho enough.

You know, it's sort of interesting... Loho is one of the last places you visit, yet it's very close to Vale!

Can you visit the towns around Vale though? If that were the case then they should definitly make it so you could enter vale.

None of the other towns are on the map. You can't visit them, or the paths that sometimes appear. Silk Road was blocked before, right? But you have to travel it to reach Vale from the way you get to Angara. But since you can't really visit Silk Road, you can just walk right through.

Silk Road? Between Xian and Tolbi, right? Or was it that place near Altin...

And maybe it's not Silk Road I'm thinking of. What's the one that they block which forces you to take the boat to Tolbi?

You might be referring to the boulder that Hsu (Ulmuch in GS2 :angry: ) was trapped under or something... that certainly seemed like a blockage...

oh yeah, you must be referring to that sort of a mudslide... that's also where you get a Venus Djinn... I think when you walk BACK from Tolbi to the Docks (which I have to admit, is pretty funny ^_^ )

Okay. We were both right on this one.

Silk Road is the path between Xian and Tolbi that goes through Kalay. The Kalay merchants buy silk in Xian, take it back to Kalay, do what they plan to do with it, then take it to Tolbi. So it is Silk Road in the Alpine Crossing AND by Kalay docks.

Anyway, to get back on topic, do you have to go through Silk Road (now that we know what it is) to go "back to Vale"?

I think that there is another rout you can take. Are you talking about the first or second game Golden Legacy? I ask because this is the Golden sun forum and for the last few posts we were talking about the lost age.

Yes. You have to take that section of Silk Road. But it's not blocked anymore because you don't enter the little section of it anymore.

I wish you could go back to Imil though.

I wish to go back to a lot of places in the original game, but too bad. Mabey it will happen for the third game.

They should re-release both games on the one cartridge (both GS1 and GS1) and you can play after beating the doom dragon, then you could visit the whole world nad they could make numerous side quest AFTER beating the doom dragon like unlocking hidden secrets etc.

Yeah but who care's, one ultimate game would be awesome, both games in the one cartridge, the story would flow better, and all the extra side quests and stories after the DD would be heaps of fun. It would easily be over 150 hours gameplay.

In the end of the game, you see a scene where the four beams emerge above Vale. But it was actually pretty stupid that you couldn't enter it.

well, it was necessary for the end scene and also, the programmers overlooked that glitch so they didn't plan on you going into that area.
