Visit: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/, set up an account (takes 5 minutes to do), get the plugin for your desired MP3 player, and it will send to the site every song you play. This way, people can visit your profile and see what music you like, what artists you listen to most, recently played tracks, most commonly played tracks etc. etc.
It's a very, very good system.
Obviously my user is: http://www.audioscro...om/user/agatio/

You download a plug in for your MP3 player (iTunes, WMP, Winamp etc.) install that, then the next time you run the player, you do a little configuration, and from then on every song you play (though I'm pretty sure you have to play at least a couple of minutes of the song) gets sent to their database (through the ID3 tags) and gets shown on your page. After you play a certain amount of tracks, it will show most played artists, songs etc.

But never mind.
Anyway, audioscrobbler appears to be quite interesting. However, to reiterate what GoldenDjinn13 asked; you can't actally download songs through this? It is simply used to display what songs you listen to most frequently, etc.?

Sweet. That sounds like a good idea.

Simple. You open it and watch it. Although I don't.

No, you can't download music from this site, all it does is record what you listen to and display it on the site. After 100 plays, you get more stats (like I do now).
