Especially if you knew that if you DID do something differently, today might NOT be your last day on Earth. :P

oh and...

Well, why not steal a plane? Well, I couldn't fly it... But it's my last day anyways, isn't it?
I think I'd go out some where and stuff my self with BBQ baby back ribs.

If I stole a plane, I would crash it right at the end of the runway, and I would get a hummer, so I could bring friends with me, and as soon as we finish seeing the last state, I would drive us off a bridge, to bring them with me ( one of them has been a major a$$ to everyone lately, so I guess i'll take him out :) ) *Evil Laugh*

Aside from that...I dunno, i guess i would try and comfort people who were afraid and junk. There isnt anything that would be particularly worth doing cos i wouldnt remember doing it in a few hours.
Maybe I would go to Church one last time. Or maybe i would just live the day out normally, or as normally as possible.

EXACTLY what I was thinking! I would tell my friends to pay for a couple of hookers(which I know they would do even now, when I'm not supposed to be dying) and would have some fun there. Then I would do things I'd never usually do: smoke, try some drugs(I've always been interested in trying speed) and so on. I don't think I would get drunk, since I do that enough now. I would beat the **** out of some people who deserve it, would smash the cars of people who deserve it and would just tell everyone what I truly think of them, be it good or bad. Then, at the end of the day, I would just want to spend time with my family; which unfortunately wouldn't be an easy task seeing as I would be drugged to the max.

If its going to be from an illness, chances are that i'd be too sick to do much of anything. But if there is going to be some sort of astriod or comet hitting the earth and wipping out all life as we know it, then I'd spend the day having whatever fun I could, and spend the last few hours curled up with a lover makeing pastionate love untill the end. And if my death is predetermind and there is no escaping it, id just live that last day to its fullest doing all the dangerous things i would never consider doing, like running with the bulls, sky diving, swimming with sharks, and bungee jumping of a large building. Then I would go out into a quite field, and dope myself up with morphine so I don't feel the pain in the end.

I guess not thinking too bad of death is good thing. Those people who are always saying: "He's gone to a better place now" might even be convincing if they believed it themselves.
I actually felt quite guilty when I realised I hadn't cried at my friend's funeral (one of my best friends from elementary school who commited suicide.) People who hadn't even been close to knowing him as I had were, yet I didn't even shed a tear. When I told my mum about feeling guiltyish she just said it was shock or disbelief.
I cried for a second when my grandad died though, but that was at the hospital at the moment that he really died.
