School starts for me next week, and school has already started for many of you. The beginning of school is usually a pretty busy time as you sort out priorities and study habits, as well as getting all the necessary supplies. I have a pretty big project for the site that I intend to take on once I settle into the school year, so stay alert for more information in that regard.

Obviously GSW development was never fully resumed, as AveneR and I haven't had ongoing communication in a few weeks. In a few weeks, Macromedia will be releasing a new version of Flash, which is the main tool we use to create GSW. The new version of Flash will allow us to try some new features and will also increase the application's performance, which allows us to do more "behind the scenes" calculations while still having smooth gameplay. I owe everyone a more thorough update on GSW's progress since the last server test, but I need to have some talks with AveneR before I can make that info available. Stay tuned for that as well.

Well, thanks for the update Max. I'm interested in seeing what you can do with the new version of flash with GSW.

I would like to know when the new flash system will arrive Max? Is there a set date to when it will be released?

School begins on Tuesday for me. It's a half day schedule so school ends around 11:50am eastern time. After that if just another regular day school schedule.

A new version of flash? Dang, I gotta ask my Multimedia Authoring Teacher about this on monday. We might be taught how to use MX2004 instead of 05, and that certainly wouldn't help me to help you(if I could help at all).

Well, there hasn't been much else to cover in Golden Sun. After TLA, things continued to bum out. You should know the whole story by now ...

That, and I believe GSW is starting to wane out of Max's interest. I don't know if I'll actually participate in the next beta, but it was great while it lasted ...

Agatio, as CBK noted, there isn't much "content" to post about right now (though that will change in about two weeks), so I have to do these "I'm still here" updates every week or so so that people don't think the site is dead and leave. Especially since the site will actually begin being updated again soon, which I think people will like.
