I had to take a while to get used to the old Snake, but I've grown into liking it now.

I agree as well. Gears of War looks a bit more realistic. I got tired of Metal Gear Solid after I played the second game. The third game was good but I still love the first Metal Gear Solid for the PS.

I thought Gears of War looked like crap, not my style graphically. Metal Gear Solid is too awesome and Gears of War will fail when it comes to the final product! Let's all be Hideo Kojima fanboys! ;D

But W/E. Metal Gear is about the only gun game of its kind I play. I don't know why I love Metal Gear and despise other gunners. I have no clue why. Kojima, you're doing a damn good job.

Back on topic....

The only thing released for Gears of War have been screenshots/movies. You can't really say it looks like crap when about 5 minutes of in-game action has been released o-o MGS4 wasn't even showing gameplay itself, just engine graphics.
