With the hockey season just two days away people wonder how the new rules will effect the game. With all the trades that have gone down, which team has the best chance for stanley cup? Questions that only the season can answer.
Anyways, I am heading off to a friends place with a bunch of other guys to watch the Leafs drop the puck. Anyone else as excited as I am?(I am getting this feeling that no one here is that interested.)

What's Hockey? I've heard about it but never really seen anything related to it.

I'm supposed to be Canadian but I still think hockey sucks. And we get the crappy Alberta games where we are, we miss out on Leafs and Sens, and then Coyotes and Canucks.

If you have satillite then you can buy the channels to the Leafs/Sens games. I rather watch Calgary and Edmonton than the Sens IMO.
Eugine tell me you've at least heard of the game called hockey? Though I can understand if you haven't. I suggest typing up the word Hockey on yahoo if you are interested.

Yeah, I heard about Hockey. Just don't know anything about it. I just heard they play on ice... right?

Hahaha, this is so funny because in Canada if you didn't know what hockey is, you'd probably get shot. Yeah, they play on ice with skates and they use sticks to hit pucks into nets. That's as simple as it gets for you.

In one hour and a few more minutes the puck will hit the ice and the NHL will have kicked off. I'll be heading out soon to catch the game at a friend's house. To any fans out there I hope you stayed tune to the leafs game baby. GO LEAFS GO!!!!

I didn't think that they got off the strike till this past weekend, I don't really care about the normal season, just the playoffs. And I forgot who where the best team and all.

So, the Leafs lost (sorry ED) in the first shootout in NHL history. My family hates hockey but we all decided to watch the first ever shootout. Now, we'll never watch hockey again.
