School Trends.

In my school most of the guys(and me) where big black t-shirts/jerseys with baggy jeans. The girls tend to where skirts with a sweater or mimic what the boys are wearing. Music hits everyone in my school. Rap being up there with hip hop and far east music. People tend to have short hair and have somekind of jewlery around their necks or wrists. Hats are worn by the guys and some girls. The hat can't be bent and must still retain the sticker size on the cap.
Anyways, that's what I've noticed in my school. What happens in your school?

So they wear the shirts like this:
1) One shirt tied in the back to make it tighter, usually black.
2) Another small open-blouse shirt, usually white.
The guys don't seem to have any trend in particular. Alot of them wear street-gangster stuff, but their are plenty who don't.

Nah, since they're wearing two shirts it's not revealing, just a little tight.

And since I only have 1 class for my grade, (I am in a small private school), they are butt ugly and fat, some are fat, but there isn't one in good shape. *cries*

Or now, eveyrone's using these bags that go on the side instead of BACKpacks D:
Guys once used really low pants. You could see half of their boxers sometimes >_>; Oh and, they all want to have long hair but, the school doesn't allow it so, they wear PONY TAILS. 98% of the guys look awful with them though XD.
And girls always have some kind of trend with hair accessories. They change ever two months or so.

Most just wear skate/surf clothese like Rusty, Billabong, Quicksilver etc. Hair is different for everyone. A few have long, most have short though.
The 'mass' is into whatever is on the radio because their all sheep who are dependent on it for their music.

I belong to a "group," and while I know too much about pop-culture for my own good *roffle* I HARDLY practice/follow the trend. That's why I wear shirts like "I'M NOT A GEEK! I'm a level 12 paladin." And "Social Engineering Specialist / Because there is no patch for human stupidity."

Mostly everyone in my school has a cell phone though we are not allowed to have them in school. My friends sometimes bring bandannas or dew rags which is also not allowed in school. Most of the stuff my classmates bring to school isn't allowed. =\

And lots of people have iPods. Everyone has a discman and that goes without saying.
Aaaand, only the smaller kids have GBA's and stuff. Many people say I'm still a little kid when they see me playing :B

Very quick way to gain the status of 'loser'.

That sucks, though I suppose it means your school would produce some pretty intelligent people.

And the uniform sucks. We just got a new headteacher, and now she is even restricting the colour of socks. And trainers are a no-no too.
The only kind of trend I could say is that some of the girls tend to wear backpacks of a single, bright colour e.g Green or Orange, and usually quicksilver.

Well trends now in our school are thick fake-fur and leather coates. I don't really know how to explain but they are winter coates with fake-fur only in the collar.

that was the trend here last year :silence:
Our new trend is skater clothes basically, baggy pants, sweatshirt, with a popular brand in the middle, which mine is billabong XD, and usually all matching clothes, but its not that big, here usually people just wear whatever there really arent any trends for clothes, maybe for girls yea, but for the guys its like...meh, just get a shirt that has a funny saying, or a popular brand and your good to go :P

Geek culture is taking over B!TCHES!!!!! Everyone seems to use that at my school. OMG YOU GOT PWND! LOL! :silence: Not super prevalent, but more than just the hardcore geeks know of such terminology (and use it for that matter). The main clothing trend, well, that just varies based on your cliques. There isn't really an all encompassing trend. So, ya...

People use their phones all the time in lessons and the teachers just can't be bothered to stop them. It's so funny to watch someone when their phone goes off and they try to say its not theirs.

We only got 800 kids, and I do say kids because they are immaute for the most part, at our school.
Cell Phones are widely used, i dont like them , so I don't got one.
Even though our school has a dress code, I always were a black and a black hoodie so that they can't see me if I am not in the dress code.
Everything gets you a detention or refferal (go to the office! thing)
And as MW said, being independent in trends is overrated. Why? Because there are some many people out there doing it, they've made there own group. It mixes with the posers.
