We don't get Halloween here cause of some priest who convinced every single granny with this radio station by saying that "IT BELONGS TO SATAN!!!1O20398". The last Halloween I had was like... 8 years ago.
I go around the school posting Halloweeny stuff though. And wear a fake spider on my neck or something of the sort. Something PHUN. I even got to dress as a mime for some pictures o:!
Wait...
Does anyone in this forum go out for candy anymore? :3 OR WAIT. I KNOW. YOU ALL GO OUT AND SCARE LITTLE CHILDREN. Yeah, that must be it.

I haven't been for years. It seemed fun at first but now I just don't care about it. I'm gonna leave the trick or treaters to my dad. He hates them!
Edit: Hey no trick or treaters! They just walked right past our house!

Some of my friends want to go play laser tag and others want to go bowling. We haven't decided so I figured we are just going to hang at a friend's place for the day.

No, I stopped trick-or-treating when I gave up candy (there wasn't much point after that). I still love costumes, though, but I haven't bothered with them, either for the past couple of years, as I don't have anywhere to wear them.

I go around collecting candy, of COURSE. I am hoing to go around, collect candy, scare little children by jumping out of places, and at like 10:00, when everyone leaves, I will go and collect all the candys because it is late and they will give it al to me.

Eh...yeah. Sucks. Halloween's meant to be a get-together for friends, it's a shame you can't go out. People get a little bit more cautious, paranoid even, when it comes to Halloween. Misuse of Fireworks is a Vancouver favourite....

Well why don't you try arguing your case? You should say that you are responsible enough to know what you want to do and that you should get to live your own life. If they still won't let you do anything then they must be really strict!
Glad my parents aren't the same.

It's actually a Christian Holiday mixed in with the old Irish Customs. The Irish thought it was a time where the links to the spirit world and our world were the thinest, and it was around the time of All Saints Day (Hispanic All Souls Day, and Los dias de los Muertos, or the Days of the Dead). My Spanish teacher celebrates the Day of the dead, and I may do it sometime soon.

Yeah, I think this is why your parents won't let you go out. I even hear stories of people getting shot.

Icy, your parents know whats best. Getting free candy is good and all but remember it's just candy. I have never gone trick-or-treating in my life. Why? Religious beliefs. Sheba hasn't gone trick-or-treating since who knows when and look even she seems sane.
When you get older it becomes less of a big deal. Also, soon your friends will be to old and then you can all steal candy from little kids together. >

 Even though it must suck, that has to be the funniest story i've heard today.
I've heard of people getting jumped for money and other stuff, but never small pieces of
candy. :D

8 Years? >_> She said it.
I didn't go T-or-Ting (Reminds me of TRT. XD;;) this year, because I was too busy lighting fire crackers and burning myself. <_<
