2. Welcome to Paradise- See above.
3. Longview- Boredom induced fapping. Nuff said.
4. Nice Guys Finish Last- Awsome video
5. Wake me Up When September Ends- This song really speaks to me.

But if it stays open...
I'm one of the few true Green Day fans, unlike the millions of people who claim to be fans based upon the American Idiot album. I own all the albums minus Bullet in a Bible and Shenanigans (is it worthy buying?). Favourite songs are 'Basket Case', 'Stuck with Me', 'Welcome to Paradise', 'She', and 'Grouch'.

I'm not dissing live concerts, I'm only dissing Green Day live. Some bands are awesome live, because they are talented musicians and vocal artists.

I'm positive Billie Joe smells nice :]
Anyways, I saw Bullet In A Bible, and I loved 'King For A Day' and 'Are We The Waiting' along with 'Hitchin' A Ride'. I lost my voice completely from screaming in my friend's house cause we were watching it x.x I also waved her Green Day calender >) Things can get pretty ugly if I don't have a daily dose of Green Day~

Otherwise, I prefer Green Day's new songs to the old songs. Billy Joe's singing voice has improved so much...

I F'ing hate people at my school who pretend to like Green Day because they think other people think it's cool.
They cant even name more than 5 F'ing songs.

Well, let's see, Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Brain Stew, Time Of Your Life...
But anyway. I wouldn't consider me a fan, but I do like their songs alot. Particularly the ones listed above. Time Of Your Life is a rather easy-going song, so it's nice to listen to when I'm reading or what-not.

Oh my god, that there is exactly why I sort of like Green Day and are not huge fans. You turn on the radio, and there is at least a 60% chance that the song you're listening to is Green Day (or Kelly Clarkson). It kind of turns you off from them, I agree.

Why would they want to that? Dookie was by FAR their best album.

In my opinion.
American Idiot > Warning > Dookie

That's precisely why I liked Dookie. They weren't making it to seel millions of copies, be proffessional, or show their maturity.
They made Dookie just for the hell of making Dookie.

For you, and not for everyone else?
Shouldnt you make what you want to make without worrying about the public opinion?

Now, sarcasm aside, why?
They have an impressive catlogue of albums, are good performers live, they were one of the first pop punk bands around, and the have covered the genre very extensively. True, their latest album has brought them a lot more success than the previous, and are in a sense worthy of being called sell-outs, but that's no reason to hate them.
They make good music and have been doing it for a lot longer than Anberlin who only formed a couple of years ago.
