New year's resolutions:
Get a new girlfreind. (Preferably one that loves playing videogames)
Get a new and much better car.
A new computer would be nice, but not entirely necessary.
Get to lvl 100 on Maple Story. My life in consumed by this freakin' game.

-Make more money off of web design and selling prints
-Get a good community started at Zappo (small but very active)
-Do anything necessary to get a Nikon D200 and a car (98 Civic would be best)
-Possibly a girlfriend (but not pertinent)

New Years resolutions????
WTF are those?!
Kidding.
I don't do any of that self-improvement crap. How can you improve something that's perfect??

About mines, I don't think I'd have any, I never follow them.

And to learn Web Design and such (I'm finally learning HTML, and plan to begin PHP, and later Flash)...

Oh and I want to become rich on Maple, but that's not really a resolution.

Learn and master xHTML/CSS first before attempting PHP. You will need the former to even understand the basics of PHP as they need each other to work. Also learn simple Javascript as that and PHP share some similarities.
Oh and aside from what I mentioned earlier, some goals are a car like Andross mentioned and just to save more from my crummy $10 job.

I guess that's something else I should work on. I should actually plan out the things I do, rather than just setting myself ambitious goals and expecting myself to do them.

Most of the resolutions I set for myself tend to be more ideological (i.e. being a more mature person, studying more, etc.), so it's a somewhat difficult call for me... I suppose I've had my fair share of both achieved resolutions and others that have fallen short, often times because I expect too much of myself.

Rather than say "I am going to be a more mature person forever!", I will say, "I am going to be more mature this hours". 24 hours later I have gotten through the day abiding by the resolution.

Just my opinion, of course. I always feel that one should try to take on themselves as much as possible. When I say to myself, "I vow to study more", I expect myself to dedicate as much time as possible to reviewing material, and I'll see how I handle it.
If it becomes too difficult, I sometimes end up revising the resolution to a slightly lesser, more relaxed degree (i.e. studying for a set number of hours, as Agatio suggested, is a good example).

See Ed, that's what you should've said. Not this school thing. I mean, homework club? actually I'm not going to comment on it considering if our school had one I would probably be president B)
Personally my new year's resolution is to stop effing my life up so bad when things are going right XD I'm like that person that steps on rakes. Actually I don't know what that has to do with anything, but I feel the rake-person is unappreciated.

And she also wants to balance her nervous and immune system. It doesn't feel like anything happens for 98% of the year and then BAM, breakdown.
And she also wants to finish reading that freaking pile of books that just grows bigger every year cause I can't read one book at once D:

Lose weight, and get in better shape.
My other resolution includes seeing 'Queen Of The Damned' and conquering my fear of the Van Hellsing walkthrough at Universal Studios Hollywood.

I guess the only resolution I might have is...
-Find a frikkin' Wind Waker ROM that's ACTUALLY a ROM.
-Either that, or get a Revolution when it comes out sometime in November.

-Try and get over the fact that they named the newest zelda game "twilight princess"
-Try and find enough money to quench my gaming thirst
-Finish playing a freaking game >.< because I never do! I start 5 and never finish them..

Why did you just do that?

Don't worry Eugine, I'll take care of it.
Now, on another note, yes I agree with Wind Dude, I suppose I resolve to get a Revolution sometime later this year. But only if I do well on my APs...

1. stop biting my nails
2. stay on top of schoolwork (although really, this is really a general goal, not a resolution)
3. study Russian because I don't know anything and I'm going to Russia in three months.
and that's all I can think of. I already gave up candy and drastically reduced the amount of TV I watch years ago (and I've never missed them since my resolution) also, I'm going to bed earlier.
ooh - I remembered another one: I remain vigilant in making sure I NEVER say "like" inappropriately. I'm not bad for it, but it slips out occasionally, and I detest it.
