I've been watching VH1 waay too much, but they're talking about everything from the 80's.
-The Stirrup Pants
-Gremlins
-Billy Idol
-Glowworm
^That's just from 1984
I wasn't alive during the 80's so I'm counting on you guys to tell me what I missed by a decade.

Maybe I'm just too vain. XD
Anyways.....
- The Mattel Intellivision, though it had come and gone by the time I was born
- The Atari 2600
- The NES
- The Game Boy
- The Genesis/Megadrive
- The PNE rocked in the late 80s/early 90s. Nowadays you head to the fairgrouds to pay an admission fee that's doubled in the past 7 or so years and you get crap.
- Started school in 1988
- Had my tonsils out in 1989

LOL I said that exact same thing to my sister when she watched it when it was on TV. I was like those things a freaky, and then they tried turning them into cute little animals called furby, but furbies you could train...or try to train and then they become self aware and when they are mad they kill <_< Cooncidence?(sp?)

That pic that Sheba posted reminded me of something else, too: LOONEY TOONS! I know it's supposed to be more adult-oriented, but I watched that a lot when I was young in the late 80s. <_<

I've wathced the gremlin movies despite my age, and, unusually, the second one was better than the first. And gremlins look like Furbys before they eat late at night. (thats when they turn ugly)

I swallowed a deflated tin foil balloon, you know, the ones with the big smilly faces? Amazingly it came out in my diaper, parents didn't know till then. But I'm still here! It's amazing how many things tots can swallow and still live.

how can you mix up generations..?
80's: Stirrup pants are the pants with the little like, thing at the bottom that goes around your foot and you'd put them outside of your shoes.
70's: Bell Bottoms (well, more like late 60's early 70's)
90's: PERMS!
