Hi. I just finished up Golden Sun the other night, except I am having the bizarre problem that the game won't end when it is supposed to. I get the Black Orb, and walk down the dock to the Lemurian Ship, but then nothing happens. No credits role. Nothing. Has anybody else had this problem? It is very odd. Thanks.

Huh. Did you remember to go inside the building, go up to the end of the plank, and THEN use the black orb?

You have to select the black orb and use it once you are there...

OK thanks. I could have sworn that USE wasn't an option when I tried to do that before, only GIVE and DETAILS, but I just fired it up and USE was an option. Chalk it up to old age I guess. Thanks for the help.

Ironically enough, this problem is also often encountered at the end of TLA (I won't say what exactly, as I don't want to spoil it).

I was stuck there for a while... I thought I had beaten the game, but the Send wasn't working... So I asked another forum (a long time ago, as a guest) and found out what I needed to do. It is irritating how unobvious they make the way to finish the game. ^_^

If i had my way, the game would have finished on top of VL ;). Or even better, not finished half way through the story at all...
I remember people complaining about this ages ago b4 TLA was released. Ahhh, the good old days, lol :huh:.
