I am extremely excited, because the Canadian men's team has made it into the final round of curling, against Finland. This is especially awesome because this year's men's team comes from Newfoundland, my obscure little province. I watched them win first in the Briar tournament, earning them the honour of reprisenting Canada in the olympics, and now they've made it even farther, to the gold-metal round. They're a really good team, and Finland only barely beat them; team Gushue was playing better than them. So they should win this match, because they are an extremely talented team, but even if they don't, they'll get a Silver.
The fact that our little Newfoundland team got this far is an extremely huge deal, and this match will be a historic event here in newfoundland (the minister of education has closed ALL the schools in the province for the afternoon tomorrow so we can watch the match).
So... yeah. I really hope my team plays the best they've ever played, and even if they lose, I will always remember tomorrow's match.
So basically comment on the whole curling thing, or talk about the olympics in general (speaking of the olympics in general, I think Canada is 3rd in the medal standings, which is awesome).

I'm still talking about curling by the way, in case that was unclear.
So yeah... I had a good day <_<

I always watch the Olympics and the Winter is more exciting for me because in the Summer, most of the events involve swimming and they are all essentially the same.

I found The downhill snowboarding the best sport to watch for the Winter Olympics.

The team was a great matchup. We lost because we had absolutely no chemistry and no heart. I think everyone just expected the medal to be handed over. Nobody really worked hard during the game with Russia except Broduer. sigh*
I hope Sweden wins =p i love their jerseys haha.

Or maybe it's because Britain only have one medal. (And that's only a silver).
