I'm thinking of buying one myself (as only my friend has one) because there are loads of nice games on the console. And even better, they've finally got a easy handling controller, something nintendo is still fussing about and Sony kinda screwed up. (have you seen the PS3-controller, it's aboriginal style -_-)

PS3 > Xbox 360
(even though I hate Sony more than Microsoft -_-)

Elder Scrolls IV is one of the few exceptions, especially with graphics. Battlefield 2 is a tad blocky while Elder Scrolls IV is not. Odds are this is mostly due to the type of game engine they run.
Either way, the 360 is good for now, but what'll it's fans think when the PS3 rolls around with all of it's ubertechnology?

And I mean, really, what can you get that's better than high-definition? We've got high-def, fiber-optics-speed Internet is starting to become popular, and something faster and better looking that 64-bit computer systems is a long way off.
Unless AI can be significantly changed to be useful and robotics can advance soon, we're gonna run out of new technology to fuel our lives.

I picked up a 360 a little while ago, been waiting for Google Videos to upload my vid before talking about it. Basically, everything else will feel sub par to me after the 360's features...but, I expected that when I decided to try picking up a nonNintendo console, that it would lack some elements and have others. So, I now feel that all consoles "ought" to have incredible online systems, ought to have instant access blades, and ought to have such quality graphics. And when I get a Rev, I'm sure I'll think that all consoles "ought" to be so small, ought to be so quiet, and ought to be so free and easy in controls.
But yeah, being able to download all these demos, all these trailers, listen to music of my choice while playing certain games, getting widescreen HD graphics, and cram all this stuff on a 20GB HDD( which feels quite small with 500 MB game demos), I certainly like my 360.
Problems? My HDD or my 360 is being flukey when it comes to backwards compatability with the best James Bond game by EA ever, Nightfire. And it's loud, heats up my room, and has crashed on a 360 game once( quite a few times on Nightfire though...). So yeah, pros and cons, but I like it so far, since I never had an Xbox.

Out of the 6 people who are disappointed, how many of you actually own a 360 and have played it more than 6 hours at a friends house once a week?
Those that say PS3 > Xbox 360 really have no idea what you're talking about. PS3 is going to come out with new games, nothing fun or interesting and will still have sub-par online capabilities and lack of customization features.
Xbox 360 has a great lineup of games, good developers, looks good, it can be customized, the best online PERIOD, among other things.
So the PS3 has slightly more processing power and uses Blu Ray discs, the fact that there will be 3 games in the history of the PS3 that will pump out the full power of the system and use the full ability of the Blu Ray disc means that all that hype is for nothing.
Try playing a 360 game on a 72inch HD-TV with Dolby 5.1 surround sound and XBL. When PS* can do that, I will be satisfied.

Er... I think it's quite obvious that the Rev will have the best online capability.
Anyway, Blink, why the hell did you put that Cowboy Bibup music!?!?

Plus, my camcorder's mic stopped working for seemingly no reason.

As for the Revolution, I think not including an HD Compatible feature would be a huge mistake. This is exactly what they did with online play on the Gamecube, they said they didn't need it, and in the next few years, every single great PS2 and XBox title had online play!
I have a feeling Nintendo will hurt themselves by forgetting HD because, really, HD televisions will soon be in 60-70% of American homes with televisions soon enough.
