Wrong. Charon is actually earth-based. If you look more closely...or not, you'll see Charon needs 8 Venus and 2 Jupiter Djinn to summon. Therefore, since Charon had more Venus Djinn, it's hereby an earth-based summon.

This attack also purges water based enemys of their applied defenses. For example, the infamous ruler of the seas and gaurdian of lemuria, Poseidon. His sheild is destroyed after the trident is used against him. Equiping this also gives the individual +20 water resistance.
