I love LEGO bricks! I once made a "fleet" of Manta battleships with classic bricks only! -_-

I've still loads of lego, I had all the bionicles till they got... corny. Lego Technic isn't up there, so bionicles are my favourite.

Lego is probably my favourite toy out there.

Lego rules. But I mean Lego really, really rules. I don't play with it anymore, but I do sometimes like to make different kinds of Lego men. But the new Lego they make are mostly not as good as the ones they used to make 8-10 years ago, when I used to buy them. I remember the good old pirates, jungle people and, my favorite, the good and evil knights. I loved all the different kinds of weapons they had.

I liked to put the Lego men in a line, and kick them across my room. So much fun. Oh how I miss being young and stupid.

It seems that TRT has replaced lego if you put it that way SoT.

Is used to have a giant lego technic shuttle, the my little sister stood on it. I think I repaired it once but after that I didn't bother.

My little sister always broke my lego... *hits sister*

I guess this isn't my kind of topic. Just want to say that Lego is... nothing for me. It's useless, ugly and has no point at all. Sure you can build stuff, I can also build stuff with some planks and a saw...

LEGO's are faster to build with, more colorful, and have little dudes that you can customize. Plus they don't hurt. Unless you step on them barefoot, anyway...

I don't see how you can compare them to wood crafting. >_>

And with the oldschool lego you could make castles and make two armies, not to mention the dragons, crocodiles and treasure you could include. And them Horses with 'armour'.

How can you not like lego?

The pieces are also really easy to lose. If you have just one missing, it can screw up the whole structure.

And if you lose bits, you can buy those little repair kits they sell.

Duplo is lego for kids. The pieces are so big little kids can't choke on it.

But's it getting harder to choke on lego these days..

Damn, I love legos so much. When I'm sick (quite often) or when I just dont feel like going to school (much more often) I build stuff out of Lego Bricks. Some of my favorite creations are a Kansas City Cheifs logo, a hugeass fleet of starships, and a couch.

Of course, the most fun part of building stuff is hurling it into the wall.

I don't think LEGOs are that kiddy. Most kids (thinking about 8 years old) usually just build it based off of the directions, when really, you're supposed to build your own unique creations. I never really started building things on my own (without directions) until I was 12 or so.

I built an awesome miniature space ship/station thing myself. It's not big, but it looks cool. I might take a picture of it sometime and show you guys.

Bionicle was addicting for me. The whole 'Technic' set that stretched Lego from outside bricks, was a lot of fun. The Bionicle comic series really made the toys that much more fun, it put them on the same level as popular anime series.

The amusing thing is that none of my friends seem to find this weird which I imagine is because they're scared to say it to my face or simply because they secretly have some under their own bed or something. The reason why I still play with lego bricks is very simple, it helps with my creativity in day-to-day things and as someone who is studying for journalism, creativity is something I want.
