I was looking through the "What Are You Listening To?" topic in the Entertainment forum, looking for suggestions for some songs, when I came across this post (attached).

I found it very amusing :D


That said, feel free to use this topic to post other "classic moments" that have happened at GSSF, and it would be even better if you had the images for people to see too.

Best moment for me was when l3luemage left "forever" but I made him comeback merely because I said CSI was better than Full Metal Alchemist. He then came back JUST to make a topic with a poll and everything. Classic.

I remember a rather odd time at GSSF when there were "couples" going around. Hoo boy, those were some crazy times.

Too many to count. I've had many a colorful conversation with Split. Many aliases as well. Probably my highlight here was.....well I can't remember. But none the less, this is one of the better online communities out there. Mainly because were small enough so that everyone knows eachother, but the place still has enough people to stay afloat. Unlike places like Ninty's online forums, where there's too many nerds there to get a word out.

By the way, when will the next GSSF awards begin? Oh, and don't worry split, you've got my vote for spam queen. :D

I look back fondly at the time when Split and Toasty kept spamming up the forums together. It was really funny to me. And then later Split started hating Toasty for no reason. And that sort of ruined it all, though that too was funny.

All the times I was online at the same time as SoT and Split and I spent hours online just posting in topics with them and PM'ing them. Ah, good times...

Also, finding out some important thing on GSSF, such as the death of Steve Irwin and the name of Harry Potter 7.

In one of the final tests of GSW, we once held these things called 'void races'. If you maximised the GSW window, a beige-coloured area was visible around the town square.

I think somebody else discovered this, but I had the idea of holding a race. I managed to gather quite a large crowd of people for the event. I have no idea who won, but it was just so crazy. Everyone was huddled in this tiny crowd, others were taking shortcuts, I think a few ended up on top of houses...XP

Well I found a few food fights when I searched in the common room like SoT said, but that was back some time in June. And Split, there's about 35 pages worth of topics to flip through, including WD's world (yes, it's the origional).

Amusing as always. I actually used to go on MSN a lot in the past, but that's besides the point.

I didn't mean that in a bad way, everyone, don't get the wrong idea. I love these forums and I love this community, the members here really mean a lot to me. GSSF has gotten me through some difficult times, and just the experience of being here for so long, and getting to know people in a literal "home away from home", separate from real life, can really do wonders.

The forums aren't bad as they are now, they really aren't. It's just, as a long-time vet, I can definitely feel something "missing" when I compare it to four years ago (most probably in the old members).

@GL: Probably because there were more members here 3 or 4 years ago, and GS was still really popular. I can remember what the last two or so months were before the forums started to slowly "die".

I seem to be doing that alot lately. Not oabout this forum, but just with life in general. I'm haveing like, a mid teen crisis. I don't know. I know it will pass, but it seems like my life is just flying by, too fast. I just feel like, I don't know.

I feel that my life is going by pretty quickly too. Maybe I should settle down, have a family, maybe retire at 17...
