Beat inFAMOUS. Ending made me go "oh ****". Best ending I've seen in a video game for a good time.

Very good game overall, also probably the most unique game I've seen in a while, haven't seen many free-roamers like this. The combat works really, quite surprisingly well (as long as you're not fighting against the RPG guys who open fire even at point blank.) Honestly, my biggest complaint is that the sound effects are kind of lacking unfortunately. Sometimes the game is eerily quiet even if there are a lot of characters on screen, and the squeak-squeak of Cole's footsteps seemed honestly comical to me at first (which wasn't the intention, I'm guessing.)

I can recommend it to most PS3 owners, but it's not a console seller so if you're still not interested in the PS3 then this game isn't the game that's going to change your mind.

Your opinion? The story telling was alright being told through a different character each mission, but the ending sucked, no idea what the Covenant was after or whatever. I wasn't saying the first was bad, it was an awesome game, but the second built on it in every way, no vehicles, the mining was fun at the start, much longer story, liked the loyalty missions, paragon and renegade actions.

The fact it took close to a month to finish says something for my gaming lately though. And Nos, shut up, get a life. I'd hate to see how you react in a power failure.

I've replayed Solid 3 so many times it's actually not funny. True fact; you can Stealth run from Dremuchij to Rokovoj Bereg in less than ninety minutes if you skip the other three hours of cutscenes. Basically, the entire game.

System Shock 2, which I'd been playing in fragments. It really makes you notice how much Bioshock improved on the formula, considering the glaring similarities.

I mean, you have replicators (vending machines), cyber modules (basically ADAM), instant resurrection stations, rah rah rah. There's still security cameras and researching and all the various hacking systems. Instead of splicers you have hybrids and cyborgs, and instead of Bouncers you have Rumblers I guess, but they're mostly pansies who die after two or three hits from the right weapon.

Instead of tonics? Implants do the same thing. Still hypos, and the plasmid system is there, but it's horribly gimped. You need to equip a Psi Amp (which takes up item slots) to use any of your abilities, plus you have to switch to Use mode and click through the interface in order to change psionics, and then you have to cast the actual psi without overcharging it and burning yourself out; and yes, all this is happening in real time.

Cool shit in general, though. The ending was just weird.

Ok I'm breaking the cycle here. Technically I haven't beaten Prototype but I've reached the final boss and he's just ridiculous. I've been getting tired of the game for awhile now and I really don't want to stick with it anymore. There's so many issues I have with it that I'm not gonna bother listing them all. Surfice to say, this game is a massive disappointment and probably one of the most overrated I've ever played.

Just completed Fallout 2, clocked in at around 50-55 hours if you take away the time that other people have spent playing it. Overall very good very very very good, still have a few things left to do though I haven't touched Broken hills and barely scraped the surface of new Reno.

Got about the same amount of time out of this as Dragon age and I would say I enjoyed this more but I wouldn't hold that against Dragon age.

I'd rather the final boss be some kind of hide-and-seek stealth kind of thing, where the Joker tries to hunt you or something, that would've been a twist considering how much Batman hunts Joker's henchies

I agree with you on the final boss, but the rest of them were all fine. Poison Ivy was probably the easiest boss fight of them all. All you had to do was roll left and right and spam the quick Batarang in between rolls. The wild growth attack got annoying very fast, though. The mechanics of it were so unpredictable.

MGS4 was gr8.

YEah, most boss fights boiled down to either bane-esque fights or just loads of henchman. Or both. Which is kind of disappointing considering the enormous potential batman villains have. The only 'boss' fights that truly represented the villain was scarecrows, whose segments were arguably the best part of the game. The others were disappointing.

The Scarecrow segments were really easy, but they were so cool that I didn't care.

Red Dead Redemption. It was a great game, it really kept me drawn to it up until the finish. Aside from some glitches (some of which were mildly exploitable; being able to skin animals and loot bodies without the 5 sec animation) it was one of my favorite single player games to date. Best sandbox I've played for sure.

It's not the sort of game I expect to go back through and beat again however, I feel it's more of a one-time experience.

Love the Castlevania games, one of my favourite franchises. My order of preference is probably the same order. Portrait of Ruin I find is the most fun to play, DoS is bigger but feels...more empty and there's very little characterisation. OoE is much shorter than the others and has the best character developmen but feels as if a large amount of it is tacked on for the sake of it. I mean you dont get to Drac's castle till the very end and it's all very contrived. Still, very fun game.

Just finished Darksiders. Definitely an enjoyable game to anyone that is a fan of the action/adventure genre. The weakest thing about the game is that it's basically a game you've already played. It doesn't do anything new whatsoever, though that doesn't take away from any enjoyment.

I just hope Darksiders 2 has smoother controls and has something new to it.

I felt like playing through them again after seeing the demos at E3. The first game I've played through multiple times, but I've only gone through the second game once so it'll almost be like playing it for the first time. Gotta write out a giant password first though.
