Bright flashes. Images of long ago wiz by, in no order. He stands still in time, not aging, his memory degrading. He has forgotten his past deeds.
The creature, always asleep in his tomb of torment. He dreams of death coming to claim him.
An even brighter flash now. This time, it opens his eyes. His cage of stone and fire has collapsed into piles of rubble. He falls to his knees, and falls onto his side.
Convolsions begin, as the body begins to attempt at adapting to the new enviroment. About 15 minutes later. He stands back up, and heads to the town in the
horizon.
The Leviathan has returned.

"Hey Folcon," says one with brown hair to his compainion. "Somethings going on in the North."
A white haired man peers out the window of the room at the inn and looks in the indicated direction.
"What do you think it is?" the brown headed guy asks.
"Not sure Marth. Looks like its coming from the area around ... Mt. Alph. Hmm, I wonder." The white haired man named Folcon stands up and starts packing his bag. "Come on Marth, we're leaving."
"Where are we going," Marth asked.
"To investigate what is going on at Mt. Alph, and see if my suppositions are correct."
"What suppostions?"
"That some fool may have broke the ancient seal on Alchemy. Now lets go."
Marth followed his friend out the door and on to the crowded streets. Together, they made thier way down to the docks and looked for a ship to Kalay. The harbor master told them no ships were sailing, so the only way to Kalay was the overland route.
The next day they set out for the journey around the inland sea and headed for Kalay.
Hows that for my start.

It was almost sundown. Levi was almost there, but its become more of a crawl then a walk now. He knew his goal was in reach, he could hear the noise of construction, nails being hammered and what not.
Suddenly, a new noise came into perspective. It seemed some what familiar, but his memories were still shattered. Then in that moment, the Wise One apperead before him. He glared down at Levi with a rage. He reeled back and was scared. "Who...What are you? Leave me be!"
The wise one was shocked. "So, you have forgotten your past and me as well... Then maybe I should let you live. If I see you do one wrong thing though, hurt one individual, I will come for you." The Wise One left and headed to the east.
Leviathan was filled with fear and confusion, and his crawl became a sprint to the town of Vale...

Only twenty minutes ago Thane was sitting in a crowded pub in Lunpa. The wooden walls of the small tavern were illuminated by the soft candle light. He sat in a corner, speaking to a mysterious cloaked figure. The man beneath the cloak offered Thane a seemingly simple task, but for a big amount of money. All he had to do was assassinate the mayor of Vault. Half of the reward was given to him now, while the other half would be given to him when he has completed the job given to him. Thane agreed to do the assignment right away.
He didn't care to ask himself who this man was, and why the mayor of Vault was wanted dead. He didn't care. All he knew was that striding through the dark forest was something he liked and wanted to remember.
Out Of Character- This won't be the only Golden Sun RP, so I don't think you should have named it Golden Sun. Never mind.

Hack sighed and looked down from where he was, a high tree in (OoC: I forgot the name of the forest '). He jumped out of the tree, landing on all fours, and started running. Branches whipped past him, he ran with blades behind him, following him, ready to strike. He ran towards Mt. Aleph, he could run for hours, and he would be there tonight..

"Da... Look dad! Ther... some..." A boy had spoted Levi, and was pointing him out. He reached out his hand. "Help... me.... please!" He fainted under the stars. The Father of the boy rushed to Levi's side. "We need a healer!" Other men around him went out and looked for the Clerics of the Sanctuary. Just then, a girl with blue hair appeared from behind one of the newly constructed buildings. "I can help him sir!" She rushed over to Levi and began using Ply.
"This man is badly injured, we have to get him to some shelter now!"

(back in character)
It was an amazing sight, the lights of the lighthouses converging together and forming the Golden Sun. But what the villiagers of Vale didn't know was that light also shone somewhere else, another world, creating a rift. And through that rift fell a young man, landing directly in the middle of the square in a smoking heap. The young man tried to get up, but failed, colapsing to the ground, unconscious. The villigers took him on a stretcher and carried him with them to escape Mt. Alph's eruption.
About twenty minutes earlier, in another world.
Kalis was pumping himself for his next, and last run of the day, down the mountian. There were only two people ahead of him to go and he would be the last one down. So he could have the whole slop to himself on the way down. He did a quick check of his gear to make sure everything was secure. He looked up and saw it was down to one more person before him. He made another quick check to be sure his bandages were still tight, then took a swig of water and put the bottle back in his bag, along with his gauntlet. When he looked up he saw the man before him take his turn and Kalis walked up to the start gate, and strapped on his board.
"Hey Kalis, you want me to take your bag down the slope with me?" the run attendent asked.
"No thanks Frank, I'll take it this time."
"Well don't take too long going down boy, it'll be getting dark soon, don't want you getting into trouble."
"Me, trouble? You must be joking."
Frank just gave him an accusing look.
"I have an emergency flare if anything happens."
Frank just grunted and looked down the slop to see a green light flash twice, signifying the last person could go before saying, "Hurry up and go, it's your turn and my butt's starting to freeze."
"Alright, alright," Kalis said, as he pulled his backpack onto his back and tightened the straps. "See you at the bottom Frank."
"Just get going," the Frank said as Kalis set his ski goggles on his face on threw himself down the slop with a whoop. "Kids," Frank sighed.
The run was going great, his best yet for the winter runs. Kalis was having the time of his life, pulling stunts and tricks off every jump he came across, scoreing serious air-time on one of the larger jumps halfway down, and just barely kept his balence on his board. At that point he decided to take it a little easier the rest of the way down. He had said he would try to be carful, well not in so many words, but Frank knew him well enough to know he meant it.
It was while he was reflecting on this and not really paying attention that it happened, a deer ran out of the trees and into Kalis's path. He swerved at the last minate and tumbledto the ground, slaming his leg into a rock as he fell. He hit the ground swearing and spitting. After a moment, he calmed down at unstarped his feet from the board and set it on the ground. He then tried to stand up, but fell back down as his leg exploded in pain. "D***," he spat. "That wasn't too bright, although the stars I'm seeing now are," he chuckled to himself. He then pulled out his flare gun and Pellet Maker and gauntlet and used the maker to compress his board into a pellet, which he then loaded into his guantlet. He then put both devices back into his backpack. Finnaly he aimed the flare gun into the air and fired it. As the ball of flame flew into the air, it was answered by another, farther down the montain. He then pulled out a road flare and lit it, sticking the other end in the snow, then sat back to wait for help to arrive.
Suddenly, the whole world seemed to explode as a huge ball of golden light appered out of nowhere. Kalis was mesmurised for a moment until he realized that it was pulling him toward it. He tried to get away, but with his injuried leg, he couldn't get far and the pull intenseified. He looped the strap of his bag around his shoulder and tried digging his hands into the snow, but it did no good. He was dragged toward the light untill his hands slipped and he was sucked compleatly in.
Kalis fell through a tunnel full of golden light. He might have calmed down except that he was practicaly on fire it was so hot. He screamed in pain as he continued to fall untill he was thrown out of the light and through the air. He then plummeted down to the ground far below. He looked up as he fell and saw a hole with the mountain side slowly close up. Then he hit the ground in a smoking heap. He tried to get up and made it to one knee before the pain caught up and he collapsed into darkness.
Back at the slope.
Frank was on the snowmobile the moment he saw the flares. He was about half way there, when the golden light had appeared out of nowhere in the area of the first flare and dissapeared a few moments as latter as abruptly as it had shown up. A few minutes later, he arrived at where the standing red flare was burning, but Kalis was nowhere in sight. When he inpected the area, he saww deep forrows in the snow that looked like drag markes. They led him a few yards to a sunken spot in the snow where there was a perfectly smooth, round, bowl, melted into the snow. The spot was exactly where the golden light had been, and the track led right to the very edge.
Kalis, and the mysterious light were gone.
(out of Character) so tell me, did this work well.

Goddess Eir, with your power and your grace, upon this man healing hands will lie, and cleanse the body with the whisper of the ply
A vision seemed to attack her mind, filling in flutters of memories, this man, a village, a storm, terrible retribution. Could that have been what left her here, alone, with no memory, no family, nothing to her name but her powers and herself?
As she snapped out of her daze, she noticed the clerics carrying the man into the sanctum for more intense healing than she could ever perform. But she knew that with the small spells, she at least gave his body the energy to recover. Watching him be carried away, she decided to "help out" a little longer in rebuilding the town.
Secretly, she was just looking for answers.

(in character)
The memory of his past started swirling in his head. Black and white images of old pass by his minds eye, not giving him a bit of rest. The image of the Wise One started slowly appearing in the foreground of it all. "...Hurt one individual, I will come for you."
Scenes of destroyed buildings, burning bodies, children crying. It all plagued him through the night. The expirements, the cruelity of being held as a lab rat. He started squriming in bed.
"We need more men to hold him down!" A large burely man, about 3 times the size of Levi was having difficulting holding him down while a cleric attempted to heal him.
"Try to use Psyenergy!" Five men started focusing their energy around Levi. He started glowing and was retained.
"Please try to keep him still while I heal his wounds." She started focusing again and began healing his damaged body.

Focusing harder, she tried to heal him as much as she could. Nothing would stop the man from squirming around. Finally, she realized, He's completely healed...what's wrong with him? It's as if he's having a nightmare...
Her eyes widened. "He's possessed!"

I wonder who they're treating? Sanji wondered to himself as he walked over to the commotion. As he got a view of the person the group was surrounding, he grimaced.
The man lying in the bed was badly injured, with some very severe marks on his body.
Damn, Sanji though to himself I wish I could help this guy too, but I have no healing skills whatsoever...
However, with curiosity to what would happen, Sanji just held back and watched the healers do their work.

"Th...thank you." He sighed and looked around. He was hoping to see something familiar, but he then noticed something. Not about the surroundings, but about himself.
The woman who healed him bent over and asked him...
"Are you...Ok?"
Levi looked around "I...I think so."

"We found you wandering down from mt. Aleph. You were badly wounded, and some people found you and brought you here." She looked at him strangely, "Where did you come from? Why were you up there?"
The man blinked, and suddenly she felt foolish and brash, as if she were accusing a baby of murder.

"I...don't know..." He looked down in shame. "I can't remember my name, where I came
from, I don't even know how I got in the mountain." He almost started crying. He
suddenly felt alone in the world. Nothing was familiar, even the battered clothes on him looked alien in orgin. A small tear fell from his eyes.
He looked up slowly at the healer and asked, "Where... am I exactly?"

Sanji looked towards the woman who addressed him, "Oh, sorry. My name's Sanji. I'm a cook. I heard the commotion from outside the Sanctum, so I just decided to see what was happening. Excuse me if I did anything wr--"
Before he finished his sentence, two random images flashed through Sanji's mind. A hooded person holding a spear cloaked in flames, then a massive dark building towering over a craggy landscape.
Sanji shook his head. I probably haven't had enough to eat since this morning... he thought.

After another hour, he finaly found a place that was still in business, and old bar that, hopfully still served good ale. He entered and found the place sparsly ocupid. but since it was just after midnight, it was not surprising. He walked over to the war and ordered a drink. When it arrived, he took a tentative sip, yup, he thought, still good.
"Its been a long time Folcon," said a voice.
He spun around and looked the newcomer in the eye. After a moment he recognized the man as his old handle for work, Sam.
"Indeed old friend. "
"You've haven't changed a bit, you know that?"
Folcon only nodded before repling, "And you've gotten old and fat I see."
"Haven't changed a bit."
"You'll have to forgive me, the last time we meet, I had a dozen guards on my tail looking for my head. And it was because you ratted me out for a bounty."
"I had to eat," the old man said. "And you got away."
"What's with all the lights in the sky the last few nights?" Folcon asked, trying to change the subject.
"Haven't you heard, a group of kids lit the four Lighthouses."
Folcon growled before saying, "I thought so."
"Don't get too upset, they say it saved the world."
Folcon just growled before getting up and dropping a few coins on the counter and headed out the door.
Once he was outside, he made his way back to the inn. Once in the room, he made sure Marth was still asleep, then stripped off his clothes, down to his shorts, and pulled the cord on his harness to left his wings out. He groaned with pleasure as he stretched his wings, working out the cramps. After a few minates, he flodded his wings back up and restrapped his harness, then climbed into his bunk and fell asleep.

Rio kicked the sign reading "Welcome to Vault". He ran a hand through his long, murky blue-green hair. He have his shining golden headband a tap and turned around.
"Selene, done grazing already?" Rio chucked quietly. He stroked his horse's beautiful jet-black mane. "Let's go for a spin around town, girl. I need a place to rest." Rio noticed a slight bruise above one of Selene's knees. "Ah... I guess you need a rest too. There's probably a sanctum of healers here, considering the other towns we've been to. Strange place, this all is."
Rio grasped the reins and guided Selene around, looking for a place to stay.

It was the pain that brought Kalis to consciousness , intense pain, causing him to cry out in his sleep. He awoke to a cool cloth brushing his forhead, held by a young woman. He tried to sit up, but the pain in his chest forced him to stop.
"Easy there boy, you had a nasty fall. You broke several bones and were covered in burnes."
"I remember, a bright golden light, followed by an inteces burrning. Then, it was like I was thrown from the flames and fell. Where am I?"
"You're in the village of Vale, or at least the rebuilt part."
"Vale?" Kalis asked. "Where is that?"
"On the continent of Angara."
"I guess I ain't in Kansas anymore," Kalis said before dropping back off into sleep.

As he asked that, Sanji opened his bag and looked into it. Well, at least everything's in there. he though with relief. All his cooking knives and spices were still there, and so were his books and Nintendo DS (Wewt. =D). His katana was still there as well, still in its sheath and untouched.
Sanji took out one of his knives and examined it. He counted himself lucky for knowing how to cook so well. After all, how many kids his age can cook like he can?

"... What... just happened?" Levi was kinda scared, and yet happy at the same time. "Wow, thats gotta come in handy." He looked around, and put the water just out of his reach. He pulled it towards him again with his mind. "Hey, thats pretty cool."
Just then, Levi had a flash back. He dropped the water and held his head tightly. It brought even more pain than the last one. it was a memory of a young woman. Brown hair, just shorter than him. She was frightened.
When the pain subsided he notice the glass cup was broken on the floor. "Awww man, what a mess." He reached down to pick up some of the glass, but the cup suddenly started to reform itself...

"What is it, girl?" Rio said in a worried tone. Selene trembled. Her legs were desperately trying to stay strong. Painful neighing echoed throughout the west end of town. "Easy, easy..." Rio tried to soothe her by stroking her mane again, but Selene nudged his arm away. "Selene..." Rio sighed.
He bent down to check her bruise. The bruise was oddly shaped and almost pitch black. Its appearance resembled spiderwebs around the edges.
Rio stood back up. He fidgeted in his tool belt and picked out a round cylindric can. He popped open the lid, letting a few orange carrot-shaped pieces of candy fall into his hand. He offered it to Selene, but Selene turned her head away. She let out a loud neigh and collapsed to the ground.
"Ah! Selene! Someone please help!" Rio yelled desperately. "My horse is hurt, somebody please!"

"Levi," Sanji said, "You could have just told me if you wante--"
Sanji stopped himself immediately, because as Levi reached his hand near the glass, the glass started to repair itself. sanji shook his head to see if he was dreaming, but it was quite real.
"What in the name of...?" Sanji said in disbelief. "Levi...Wow, that's really something...Are you doing that?"
Before he heard a reply, Sanji heard someone yelling for help outside. Sanji walked over to the door, and saw a man with blue-green hair next to a horse which had apparently collapsed.
"It's one thing after another in Vault, huh?" Sanji remarked, "What an interesting town..."

He sat next to the horse and placed his hands over the bruise. "Dang, thats pretty bad. Wheres that one woman who had just healed me?" Levi got up and went around the town looking for the healer.
"This would be easier if I knew her name..." Suddenly another flashback appeared. Levi fell down on his hands and yelled out in pain. Energy started pouring from his body, causing spires of earth to petrude from the ground. "AAAAAHHHHHHH!"

The next morning Folcon and Marth left Kalay and headed North. After several more hours of hikeing they came within sight of a small comunity, just as the sun was getting ready to set.
"I beleave that is Vault," Folcon said. "And if it is, than, Mt. Aleph is that peak over there."
"Your not sure," Marth asked.
"It has been several decades since I was last here, Marth."
"Are we gonning to stop here, or move on?"
"We'll stop here for the night, I want to make sure this is the right place."
The two warriors were just about to set off when a pack of eight wolves attacked them. Folcon was able kill three with a well placed Ray attack, while Marth shot down two more with his bow, before another tackeld him from behind. Marth screamed in pain as the wolf bit into his arm. Folcon drew his katana and ran towards the aggressor and swung at the beast's head, taking it in the jaw and sending the top of the head flying, sparing blood and brains across the grass. The last wolf ran of into the nearby woods.
Folcon knelt down next to Marth and did his best to bind the bites, but there wasn't a lot he could do with his current supplies. so he picked Marth up and carried him over his shoulder as he hurried towards the town as quickly as possable.
He made it to the entrince and quickly started calling for a healer. But saw that said healer was helpping a man about a horse.

"Levi!" She ran over to see him having a seizure on the ground. "Dumb lot. You should have just rested. My psynergy is nearly drained already!" Focusing, she began to try to heal the young man again.
He's murmuring again...If only I could make out what he's saying...But that would mean leaving him here in pain. Argh, what a choice.
Deciding to be humane, she focused harder, seeming to make Levi stop shaking, though he remained unconscious.
Now all I need to do is get him back to the inn. Fun...If only that cook were here, he could help me get him back! she sighed heavily, Come to think of it, WHY did he let Levi go out in the first place?! I swear, do these people need to be trained doctors and healers to use common sense that a person in recovery should NOT be running around in the streets?!
She got up, wrapping her arms underneath him and trying to get him to stand up. With a couple failed attempts to lift him over her shoulders, she gave up and ran out into the main street to find help.
"Someone! Please help! There's a man unconscious!" People looked at her, exchanged glances, but simply ignored the female.
Damn people and their gender biases. "Females are weak, females are liars." Why would i lie about something like this?! Wiping the sweat away from her brow, she continued to call out, waiting for help.

They pointed at him all at once. He put his head down. "You, who have destroyed us, you who have made people suffer. Your price to pay is to remember all of those who you wiped from the face of the earth..."
Levi woke up suddenly. He sat up quickly, studing his surrounding. "Oiy, I shouldn't have gotten out of bed. I probably made the cleric angry at me." He got up, and turned around and headed back towards the house where he was staying at. He then heard the young lady who helped him earlier. She was yelling for help. He ran over to where she was running at. He ran up and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and was shocked.
Levi blinked. "Ummm, are you ok?"

The knee of the horse twitched, and the horse whinnied loudly. She stepped back as the horse began to kick frantically, trying to get on it's feet. Quickly, the horse got up on it's own, circling around the owner "Well she's healed. Try not to gallop with her for a while. It'd be best if you let her rest a while." Turning, she cast a stern gaze at Levi, "And you should do likewise."

He returned to the bed and laid down in it. He sat back up and grabbed the cup off of the floor. He placed it back on the table and noticed a pitcher of water next to it. He looked around the room to see if anyone was watching. Then he rubbed his hands togther.
"Alright, lets try something different." He focused his attention on the water in the pitcher. Soon a small stream of water went into the pitcher and filled up the cup.
"Wow, whatever this power is, I'm liking it." He drank from the cup of water then laid back down for some rest.

Icelia quietly tiptoed down stairs, then noisily walked up them again, to act as if she hadn't been standing there. She walked over and sat down on the bed that was beside Levi's, though a few feet away.
"How are you feeling?" She asked, hoping that maybe she could talk to him about his recent spasm attack.

... "Icelia? Thats a nice name." He looked down at the floor for a moment. "I owe you alot, you saved my life. I don't think I could ever repay you for such a thing. I hope you don't mind me asking, but is it alright if I stay and help out here? Its the least I can do for such caring people. Oh, and sorry about leaving the Inn, I was just worried about what was going on outside." He scratched his head.
At that point, another flashback occured. It wasn't nearly as bad as the past ones, just gave him a sudden headach. This time it was of an eldelry couple huddled in a corner.
Levi shook it off.

"I think it'd be great if you helped out here. You seem...well, I have a sense about people. You seem like you belong here." She smiled. "And don't sweat the healing. I like healing people." she scratched her head nervously and stared at the floor, "Sorry about acting so feisty. When I heal people, I feel as if I have to protect them, and they become like children or family. Heh, probably because that's what I never had..."
She looked up to see Levi looking at her intently. "My story is similar to yours...I woke up with a huge headache and a whole lot of nothing. A group of travelers found me wandering the woods with a blank stare. I honestly don't remember who I was, where I came from, and how I can heal. The words to my healing prayer...they're all I have left from my memory."
Looking at him seriously now, she whispered quietly. "When you were convulsing both times, you were mumbling...do you remember anything? any dreams? You said you remembered your name when you were in pain...has it brought back anything since then?"

"And another thing, I don't think Levi is my entire name. I think theres more to it. The way I pronounce it, just doesn't seem like I'm saying the whole word."
Levi sighed and laid his head on the pillow. "Maybe, we can help each other out?"

"I should ask the innkeeper now to borrow her kitchen.." Sanji said to himself. He didn't take more than a couple of steps, however, before he felt some malevolent presence. Sanji spun around, looking towards the village gate.
It was just for a split second, but there was a flash of red, almost like a flame...
The first image that sprang into Sanji's mind was the picture of the hooded man with the spear that flashed through his mind earlier. Yeah right. Sanji thought, There's no way some guy like that would be here. Or even exist. Then again, is there anyone or anything around here that can use fire...?
Sanji walked outside the village gate and looked around. Suddenly, a fireball flew in from his left. Sanji quickly sidestepped it, and turned around to see what created the ball of fire.
It was a demonic looking creature. It was hunched over, it's whole body a black color, with blood red claws. It's eyes glowed red as well, and it had sharp teeth.
The monster threw another fireball, bigger than before. Sanji jumped above it, and flew overhead above the monster. Sanji started to quickly spin vertically, and the monster threw another fireball. It missed, and Sanji got his chance.
"Concasser!"
Sanji, with the momentum of his spinning, drop-kicked the monster's head so hard he drove its skull directly into its body. Sanji stood near the fire demon, now a mutilated mess.
"What the hell was that doing here?" Sanji said.

I feel as if we're getting nowhere. She thought. Then again, we may just need to give it ti--what the hell? From the top floor of the inn, she could see a large fireball fly towards the ground just outside the village gates.
Rolling her eyes, she began to walk out again. "I'll be right back..."

Levi opened his eyes. He had some what of a feeling for his powers now.
"Dear god, did I, do all of that?" He noticed then that there were a pair of eyes in the window...

He reached Vault earlier than he had expected to, and stood to gaze at the strange brightness coming from the north, from Vale. He quicky turned his head though, as it was too intense for his own liking. He didn't even really care what the light was.
He entered the sleepy little town, only to be a surprised that so there was some trouble going on. Some patches of grass were burning and there were a few people holding their weapons as if they were battling. He knew he mustn't be noticed. He had to do his job quickly and quietly and get out of Vault.
Thane walked along the protective walls of the town, hoping not to look too suspicious. He began walking up the stairs of the little cliff where the mayors house was. Only a little more, he thought. He could almost feel the metal door knob in his hands.
(OOC: Darn you and your 4 pages! I had to edit my whole post, since I thought it was still page number one. And I don't know what time of day it is now. :/ )

Levi opened his eyes to see the barrier. "...Did I just do that?" He got up and ran away before the monster could catch up with him. He then soon noticed there were two other creatures prowling on some of the other streets. "What is going on here?!"

Thane stealthily crept up to the man, pulling out his dagger he uses for quick assassinations. He raised his hand, getting ready to slit the mans throat, when suddenly the mayor turned around. Thane was bewildered by what he saw.
That was no human. It was some kind of small beast, with sharp teeth and fiery eyes. It punched Thane with all its might, and Thane flew across the house and right through the window, landing close to the town square. He was cut from all the pieces of glass he was lying on, and bruised from the impact. The creature jumped tremendously high, from the house all the way next to Thane. It suddenly changed, the fake clothes vanishing and the creature growing into a tall and slim black and blazing demon, its hands covered in fire. With a frown, Thane got to his feet and readied his bo staff.

The creatures looked around in fear, as the earth opened up around them and swallowed them all. Levi's eyes were highly dialated as the energy poured out into the ground. Soon the earth closed back up, and the monsters were gone. He took a deep breath and sat down. "What... am I..."

Sitting up with a little resolution, he rubbed his eyes. Wearing a white undershirt and brown shorts, he had slept a long time. Yesterday's funeral had taken a lot out of him, he had been weary. Still, the sun shone through the window and he was heartened. The window revealed white flowers, blooming in the fields below him. It was a beautiful sight. Katar smiled as he stood up, moving to his closet for clothes. Kalay was such an amazing city. He slowly put on his white armour above his undershirt, he had a speech to prepare. Today was the day he would become mayor if Hammett's wife so wished.
Ready for the day ahead of him, Katar headed for the door of his room. But something caught his eye from the window. Turning around, he looked as a young girl in exotic clothing chased behind a few apparent servants. Katar hadn't seen this girl before, and she was not like other tourists that headed through these parts.
Not perturbed, Katar turned back to the door, and relayed the speech over in his mind again. He would make it memorable, and his days as mayor would be long and fruitful, no matter what.
OOC: I hope I didn't mess with the time of day. Anyways, here I am in the story! =D

James was working peacefully at the coffe mahine at Garet's Diner in Vale. He'd just got the job a few weeks earlier, but being the quick learner that he was, working the contraption wasn't hard.
"Someone ordered a Latte?" He called out. A customer stood up and walked towards him, and claimed the latte.
Just then, a blinding flash burst through the windows. It was gone as quickly as it came, but James eyes had to re-adjust to the room's brightness due to its intensity.
"What in god's name was that?" He said aloud. "I think it might've come from Mt. Aleph" suggested the customer who claimed the Latte as he rubbed his eyes.
"Are you sure? Couldn't it have been something else?" James asked.
"Well do you possibly think that any man could've caused such intense light on his own? Of course not." Replied the customer.
"I hadn't thought of that..." James replied, feeling a bit stupid.
"I'll bet you anything that there'll be a town meeting after this." Sid the customer.
"Yeah, there probably will. It's not every day that something like this happens." He replied.
((OOC: I'll just let you all know that they have a town meeting, and that James is (oddly enough) elected to go to Vault to the mayor there about the matter.))

"What was that thing?" she murmured softly to herself and ran back into the town. People were screaming as small black creatures, resembling human like crawling spiders, attacked the innocent villagers. Glass shattered, fires began, and chaos let loose in the streets ...oh no...Levi! I gotta make sure he's safe!
It was too late. She saw Levi stagger out of the alley, supernaturally deflecting a whole wall of rocks that would have pummeled any ordinary man. The rocks flew back in a counter attack, killing the fire monster instantly.
"LEVI!" She screamed. It was no good. Levi didn't seem to notice her scream. In fact, he seemed entrenched...entrenched in absorbing all of alchemy's greatest powers. The earth began to break apart, and the black spider-like creatures cowered in fear as the ground closed it's sharp teeth around the creatures like a ravenous lion.
She fell back as the ground beneath her shifted. "Holy..." she whispered, looking up at Levi who seemed lost in his power. Something wasn't right, though. The innocent and kind young man she had met earlier seemed to be gone, and all that was left was a blood thirsty being, not satisfied until he conquered all the power in the world. Levi glowed a bright yellow and red, his eyes looked at her fiercely as she crawled backward.
Managing to stand up, she quickly ran away from him. Icelia, you have to help him!
But I can't! I'm just a healer! she argued with herself
You have the powers of mercury, not just ply. You can attack.
I don't have the strength to attack a friend! she argued back, running around the corner behind a building. Panting and gasping for breath, she was at a loss.
One thing's for sure, if you don't stop him, he'll destroy the entire city. Icelia, he's the only one who can help you get a clue to your past. You have to help him
Yeah...If only I knew HOW.

Looking up, he watched as Hammett's wife spoke from the podium, "The loss of my husband and our mayor will be a difficult process for all of us. But I am nonetheless pleased to announce his successor. I have chosen the city's Captain, Katar, to become Kalay's newest mayor. Please welcome him."
Smiling, she stepped down and applauded along with everyone else. Taking a few nervous steps to assume his place at the podium, Katar looked up at the crowd in front of him for the first time. It was a large one, probably about five hundred people. The gleam of white armour stood out from the front rows, the military had shown up.
Katar cleared his throat, "Tha...", but he was quickly interrupted.
Just as he started to speak, he glimpsed a man running from the north into the city. Stumbling through the gates, the man was drenched in blood and ash, his face covered in burns. All eyes turned to the man and Katar left the podium to ran out and meet this strange character. The man fell to his knees just inside the gates and yelled out, "Vault is in flames! Vault is taken!" before collapsing to the ground.
Approaching the man, Katar knelt down to see what damage had been done. Putting his ear to the man's mouth, he did not hear any breathing. Feeling his wrist, there was no pulse. "He is dead," Katar said, standing up in shock. He had not expected this event, nor the reprecussions of what the man had said. If what he said was true....
Then Kalay has a problem on its hands...

Holy ****! he thought to himself. Many buildings were halfway demolished, and there was a slew of giant spider things crawling throughout the town.
What now? Do I fight my way through this to get to the mayor, or run back to Vale to report? He asked himself. Though to him, the answer was pretty clear. I've got a job to do, and I can't just go back to Vale without getting some answers about all this. He walked past the tattered gates, and entered the town of Vault. Unarmed and heavily out numbered, he began his journey, working his way through the back alleys.

"What's going on here?" He asked.
She shook her head. "I have no idea. A fire monster came and attacked the city. My friend took out the monster, and all the little creatures it conjured to the earth, but now HE'S gone berserk!" she hung her head, "And I'm too weak to do anything to stop it. My psynergy is drained and I can't bear to attack a friend."

"Hey, hey! What's going on here?" Before she could proceed any furthure, her toe hit something warm yet stiff, a dead man.
Reveria jumped back quickly as a shadow casted over her, she looked up to see a armored man in his mid 30's looking upon her with a hint of rage, for a rare split second Reveria was speechless.
The man had the most particular look in his eyes, it wasn't till some time later that Reveria could make something out of it. His eyes... they were so... familiar...

Folcon and his friend Marth witnes the forming of the Golden Sun and travel North to investigate it. They pass from Tolbi to Kalay without incedent and then move on to Vault. Right before they get to Vault, they are attacked by wolves and Marth is seriously injured. Now Folcon is trying to get help. I guess this would be when the demons attack.
Meanwhile, Kalis, my third character, is snowbaording down a mountian when the Golden Sun form a rift to his world and he gets sucked in and spit out into the air and falls to the ground in Vale. He is badly injuried and is currently in the care of a kind woman, who i think will turn out to be Issac's mom.
((Back in Character))
Folcon and Marth's story
Folcon was carrying Marth towards Vault when the screeamming started. He looked up and saw the fire demon and the spider creatures it was summoning.
"S***," Folcon groaned as he saw the fighting start across the town. "It's just one thing after another. Come on pal, I need you awake here," he said to Marth, shaking him gently.
"Too tired," Marth sighed.
"Stay with me kid," Folcon said, concentrating his wind powers. "D***, why do the Jupiter powers have to be so weak in healing? Hang in there Marth." Folcon took a different approach and begain to channel his own Psynergy into Marth, slowly restoring him.
Marth snapped out of his daze with a cry of pain and grabbed his shoulder. "Cure," he murmered, as the power flowed into his body and started to close the wounds. In a few moments, he was compleatly healed, but still weak. Folcon set him on the ground, stood up, and turned toward the villiage. A good portion was in flames now, but the sounds of fighting had died away.
Folcon drew his sword and started to walk the few yards to the village gate when he stumbled to his knees. "F***," he swore, as he pushed himself back up. "I transfered to much power." He took a moment and abosorbed some of the lifeforce from the grass around him. With a small portion of his energy restored, he quickly walked into the village. When he arrived, he heard a girl telling a man her friend had gone breserk and she needed help.
He looked where she was pointing and saw a strange man standing in the square, somehow, he looked familier.

During his quick fight, Sanji hadn't gotten a scratch from that fire demon. However, immediately after he performed Concasser on it, he remembered a red flash and that he was down on the ground, badly wounded. Sanji knew that the monster's meager abilities couldn't have amounted to something that could have knocked him nearly unconcious in one strike. As Sanji looked back at the monster, he realized why, as the monster was radiating an evil red color.
I get it. Sanji thought, The monster must have some mechanism in its body that triggers that massive amount of energy at death. But how can I kill something like that without hurting myself?
Before he could ponder any further, he heard more crashes. "It's been trouble since I got here." Sanji muttered. "I must be carrying some kind of bad luck streak with me..."
With that thought in mind, Sanji ran off into the direction of his original destination: Lunpa.

"There was one time you embraced me so well, now you don't reckognize me? How pathetic." The man turned away and returned to the darkness. "I gave you a hand today, but don't expect anymore favors..."
Levi snapped out of his dream state, he then notice he wasn't on the ground anymore. "Wha? What happened to me?" It seemed like he moved away from where he was. He looked down at his hands to see they were resonating with power, but it was subsiding. He noticed that there was turned up earth all over the place. Rock spires, places where the earth had opened up, pillars of stone. Some of the towns people were staring at him. Levi went back to find the group of towns people he saved earlier. They were still in a circle but no monsters were near by. "Are you people ok?" They looked at each other and started nodding. A little child came up and tugged on his clothes.
"Thank you sir for saving me and mommy."
Levi blushed a little. "Your... Welcome."

"Er..." Sanji began, "May I ask if there's a reason why Lunpa is so heavily guarded? It's doesn't look natural."
One of the guards turned to Sanji, his helmet off and his face very grim. "Well, as you, may have seen, everything has spun out of control around here since Vale and Mt. Aleph sunk into the ground." Sanji nodded, remembering hearing things about that incident. The guard continued, "The fact of the matter is, someone brutally slaughtered the guards last night, infiltrated Lunpa, and breached our fortress. Our forest hasn't been breached since Isaac has, but it wasn't done invisibly..."
Sanji was curious. "Not done invisibly?"
"Correct." The guard replied. "Whoever came through our gates scorched some of our houses down and killed the guards protecting the fortress as well. Everyone we've sent in hasn't come back, so they're most likely dead. If you want more details...well, we can't give you any, as we don't know more than that..."
Cringing at the thought of what kind of death the poor guards might have experienced, Sanji said, "I'll go. I may know who, or what, has infiltrated your fortress."
Another soldier, who was rougher than the guard Sanji was talking to, spoke up, "You must be stupid. If you knew what kind of damage Lunpa has taken, you'd think twice. Half the town is destroyed, and our leader, Donpa, was last seen in the fortress. Do you honestly think you can be of use?"
Sanji wasn't intimidated. "Yes, I do. I've already seen some extent of damage done to Vault--" The soldiers looked surprised at this remark, but Sanji pressed on, "--and I assume this is the same case. Listen, if no soldier has come back, then that means you don't have the power to fight back, unless there are soldiers far more powerful than they. Let me go in, scout around."
Instead of being angry, the twenty or so gate soldiers seemed to agree with him.
"This is a plan worth considering." said another, who looked to be the captain. "You, kid, let me bring you into town. If you're strong, then maybe we have a chance."
"Thank you sir." Sanji said with a smile. "By the way, my name is Sanji."
Although he was smiling, Sanji was truly hoping he could help the people.
After all, I can't just ignore this. Sanji thought.

Katar quickly returned to the podium, needing to address the people, "I would ask everyone to return home now. Thank you for welcoming me, but it appears that Kalay has business to attend to."
As the crowd dissipated, Katar came down and cut off one of the military members. He pulled aside Crawford, his second-in-command, and whispered into his ear, "I need you to pull the forces together. I have a bad feeling about what has happened in Vault," when Crawford looked back at him questioningly, he added, "For precautionary measures only, of course. If nothing has happened, we will not need them." Katar knew the reason for the questioning look. Kalay's forces numbered well over 200, to group them for a single purpose was something rarely done, even in times of war. But Katar's bad feeling was only growing as time passed.
He looked back out at the now non-existant crowd, and once again saw the young girl, standing over the dead body. She had not left the scene.
This is no normal tourist...
He decided he needed to know more about this strange girl. He left the stage and the podium and walked up towards the gate, approaching the girl. As he came closer, she looked up at him again, and he spoke to her for the first time.
"Who are you?"

Once again, he walked up the steps to the mayors house, limping while he did. He opened the door, half expecting another monster to charge at him. The house was suddenly much brighter without the evil creature, so Thane could clearly see that it was completely empty.
He went back to the town square, deciding he should check the rest of the houses. He was trying to avoid eye contact, hoping nobody would notice his bleeding arm, but he couldn't help looking at the people around him.

After several hours, Kalis awoke. He glanced around and saw he was alone in the room, but he could hear voices coming from just outside the door. He could make out the voice of the woman he had meet earlier, but he did not recognize the other two. One was and older male voice and the other sounded like a younger male. After a few moments, he could start to make since of what he was hearing.
"I still don't see why you brought this stranger into our home Dora," said the older voice. We know nothing about him, he could be ..."
"Does it really matter Kyle," said the woman's voice, which Klias assumed to be Dora. "He was in need of help."
"But why was he not taken to the sanctuary?" asked the younger voice.
"Because Issac, the sanctuary hasn't been rebuilt yet."
"Do you even know where he's from Dora?" Kyle asked.
"No, but I don't belive he is from around here. Just look at these clothes he was wearring, more fit for a winter climet."
It was at this point that Kalis actulaly realized he was not wearing his clothes, but a large night shirt.
"So he might be from Prox," said the younger voice named Issac.
"But Issac, the people in Prox don't wear clothes like this, and not in these colors."
"I don't even know if he is from Weyard," said Dora. "When the Golden Sun formed, he short of, how should I discribe it, flew out of it and fell to the ground."
"Is he still asleep," Kyle asked.
"I think so. Issac would you go check on him."
"Sure thing mom."
Kalis lied back down and feigned sleep as footsteps aproached the door. As it creaked open, he rolled back toward the door and blinked like he had just awoken. He looked at the boy, a young man really, and frowned. "Who are you," Kalis asked.
The young man smiled and walked over to the chair before saying, "My name is Issac, who are you?"
"I'm Kalis," Kalis said.
"Nice to meet you Kalis."

He turned the corner and saw Icelia healing some people. "Icelia!" He called out and waving. She turned around, exhausted and breathing hard. With the last of her energy gone, she fell to the side. "No!" Levi ran over to her. He kneeled down and picked her up. "You've already wore yourself out, I think its time you took a break" Her eyes were closed, she had fallen asleep. Levi carried her to the inn where he was healed at. He placed Icelia on the bed he was going to sleep on. "Phew, what a night." The morning light came up over Vault, a new day was beginning...

"Laura." Reveria called as she proceeded her enchantments. One of the servants stood forth and nodded, then turned to Katar.
"Sir, this is Miss Iryn of Thracé. She is touring Kalay on vacation." Laura replied politely.
Hound of darkness, Fenrisulfr. Oh, elipse of the night sky. I request thee, return thy overdue soul to this empty husk. Awaken from thy long slumber!
A blood red light engulfed Reveria, the dead man slowly arose from the ground, few seconds later, he was able to stand.
The man has no emotions, he did not speak of his bleeding wounds, and no life was displaced in his expressionless eyes. Reveria drew a triangle with her hands in the air and ran towards Kalay's town gate. The dead man followed.
"See you in Vault!" Reveria yelled back before she exited the town that is now in a state of panic.

The strange looking man ran off before Folcon had a chance to talk to him. So he left the village and returned to the tree where he had left Marth. He was still there, standing agianst the tree with a branch acting as a crutch.
"Good to see you standing," Folcon said, as he walked up.
"More braced than standing," Marth sighed.
"Come on, the inn in town is still intact, let's see if we can get a room."
"Hem," yawned Marth. "Sounds good. Give me your shoulder."
Folcon stepped over and drapped Marth's arm across his shoulder and took it in his other hand, taking most of Marth's weight off his legs, and helped him into town. The stepped through the gate and headed towards the inn.

There was only one house left where he hadn't checked. He peered through the door to see who was inside. He saw a large man across the room, standing over a bed. There was obviously somebody injured lying on the bed, but Thane couldn't see who it was. He walked forwards and glanced over the mans shoulder. He had a feeling it wasn't the mayor, and he was right. It was just some girl.
Darn, where could he be!? Thane pondered, I must complete this job. He turned to the bulky man and asked if he knew where the mayor was.

Finally, when a few rays of golden light fell on her forehead, her eyes fluttered open. She looked around, the world still blurry from her sleepy eyes, but her vision soon cleared. Grunting slightly, she pushed herself up to get a better view of her world around her.
Here...how did I get here?
Looking at the bed to the left of her, she saw Levi sleeping peacefully.
Could it have been just a dream?
Quietly she tiptoed over to the window and pulled back the curtain. Rocky spires were everywhere, as if a massive earthquake had hit the poor, unexpecting town.
Frowning, she looked over at Levi. He's so sweet when he's normal... she thought to when she first healed him, as he convulsed like a ravage beast But he has tremendous capabilities to create mass destruction.
Sighing, she went back to her bed and laid down on her side. But I must stay with him to find out my past.
Rolling on her back, she stared at the ceiling. The answer awaits you in the Eastern Sea...But...maybe Levi isn't the answer. I'm sure of what Hamma said. She is a Jupiter Adept, and they know more than I ever could.
That brought another thought to mind. I wonder if I can try predicting. She gave that power to me because she knew it would serve me purpose. If I can predict the future, maybe I can stop something like this from happening again...

By the next morning, Kalis was feeling significantly better. His burns had healed and his broken bones were alredy knitting back together.
The previous evening Dora had returned the clothes he had been wearing to him, cleaned, along with his backpack. He rumaged through it, claiming to be looking for some other clothes, while covertly looking to make sure everthing was still there. Satisfied that nothing was missing, he folded up his snowboarding uniform and tucked it in the pack. After pulling out his prefered warm weather clothes to wear the next day.
In a few minates after he was awake, he was fully clothed and starting to climb out of bed, when his leg screamed in protest, forcing a yell out of him as he fell to the floor. The door burst open and Issac ran in. The young man knelt next to Kalis, and placing his hands over Kalis's leg, murmured, "Cure."
Kalis staired in amasment, as a yellowish light came from Issac's hands and seemed to soak into his leg. In moments, the pain was faiding, and Kalis could actualy feel, the bones' healing accelerate. Shortly, the break was compleatly healed, and the cast fell away.
"Now why did no one do that before?" Kalis asked.
"Healing bones," Issac sighed. "Is a lot harder then closing cuts or healing burns. It takes a lot out of a person."
Kalis just nodded, nopulssed by the fact that this kid had just used some sort of magic to heal his leg.

"...You have a great natural gift of being able to use high levels of Alchemy at such a young age. You could help bring peace to the world, or use it to your own gains. Choose wisely..."
His eyes opened. He noticed he had fallen asleep at the side of the bed next to Icelia. He yawned loudly and rubbed his eyes a little. It seemed that she was already awake.
"Good morning." He said while getting up. "Has your strength returned to you? She smiled and nodded. She seemed to be in deep thought over something. Levi wasn't sure if he should ask about it or not. "Ummm, I'm going to make some breakfast, did you want anything right now?"
Icelia turned and looked at Levi "Not right now, but thank you for asking." Levi nodded and headed for the kitchen. "I think the inn keepers might be busy helping fix up the town. I'll eat something to regain strength and help them out." Levi turned the corner to see that the kitchen was mostly destroyed in the attack. "Awww, now what do I do..." The memory of the dream resonated within him at that moment. "...Alchemy, thats what I'll use..."

Folcon studied the inn as he aproached it, seeing that part of it had been destroyed in the attack. He kicked the door to open it and it fell off it's hinges. "Oops," Folcon said, as he walked into the inn's lobby and paused, looking around.
"Hey Folcon," Marth said, still hanging of Folcon's shouldier. "Can we get something to eat, I'm starved."
"Yea, sure," Folcon said. Moving toward where he thought the kitchen was, Folcon dropped Marth off at a table and approached the door. He pushed it open and gapped at the destroyed kitchen. As he glanced around the remains of the room, he saw the strange looking man again, standing by the remains of the stove. The man looked so familier, but Folcon just couldn't place him. Finnaly he spoke up, "Hey, you."

Then, Crawford asked the imminent question, "What is your plan?"

Pulling back the pink hair out of his eyes, he decided that his last option was to search the house thouroughly.
He searched through each and every cupboard, book and pot for any clues of his whereabouts, not bothering to clear up the mess he made. It would seem the mayor had a daughter, but that was none of Thane's concern. That is, until he found a parchment in one of the drawers. It read simply:
Your daughter is being held captive. We are waiting for you in Lunpa. Bring 30 000 coins.
This was a bit perplexing. Now it was obvious to Thane that the mayor had gone to Lunpa, but had the person who gave Thane this mission already known that?
There was nothing left to do but go back to Lunpa.

"Fenrir, take this dead man and follow that pink-haired dude. Please don't lose sight of him." Reveria knelt down and whipered at the invisible black hound that followed her.
But, mistress, will you be alri--
"I'll be okay, now go." With a pull of her finger, the dead body turned and headed for Lunpa. Reveria hurried into Vault only to find half of it in ruin. The plaque of the inn came off and fell right before the young missy, who fixed her dress and hair before stepping in.

"Do you serve pineapple juice?" Rio inquired quietly to the lady by the counter in the inn.
"Yes. You're one lucky boy. We just received a fresh stock from the Apoji Islands." She said, smiling gently.
"Hah. Luck." Rio sighed. He accepted the mug of the fresh, pale-golden juice and gingerly put it to his lips and sipped. The doors suddenly burst open, the light silhouetting the girl that walked in. He swiveled on his chair to take a look at who had just entered. Immediately, he caught sight of her great deep green eyes. They seemed to have a cheerful, yet elegant glow about them. Rio couldn't help but have a feeling of familiarity. He shrugged it off, thinking it was just a nod at her beauty.
Rio stood up nervously. He dug into his pocket and set a few coins on the table. He crossed over to the other side of the room, but not before tripping over a loose floorboard.
"Oooh, hell." sounded a muffled whimper from the pitiful, silvery heap on the ground.

Issac left shortly after healing Kalis's leg, saying that he was going to get him something to eat. When the door was closed behind him, Kalis reached under the bed and pulled his pack out. Going through it, he found what he was looking for, a long slim case. He opened it and withdrew a small bottle and a hypodermic needle. After drawing some of the solution into the seringe, he pushed the neddle into his arm and injected the full contents into himself. He then placed both syringe and bottle back in the box and put the box back in his pack. Kalis then laid back to rest and let the healing accelerant nanites and drugs do thier job.
In moments, he was relaxed and feeling no pain, as the nanites coursed through his system, meanding his bones and erasing his scars, except the one disfigurment on his arm, the acid burn from when he was ten.
Issac returned a few minates latter with a tray loaded with food.

Rushing down to the war-torn first floor, she looked around to see the place nearly demolished. But Levi seemed to be fine...just poking at his finger. Icelia raised her eyebrow as he spotted her, and he quickly held up his finger. "Splinter." He said in a way that she couldn't help but laugh.
"Here" she said, stepping over the rubble and taking his finger. Focusing, she created a callous around the splinter, then squeezed his finger, allowing the splinter to come out cleanly.
"Thanks" he mumbled, looking down at his finger.
"No problem." she whistled, "wow, this place really took some damage. I assume the town is much worse."
"Ten times." Levi corrected.
"We should get some Valeans. They would be able to help us clean up quickly with their psynergy."

The man appearintly didn't hear him, but yelped out suddenly. In moments, a blue haired girl ran down the steps to see what was wrong. The man held up his finger to the girl, causeing her to laugh. From what Folcon could tell, she took care of what ever was wrong. He walked up to the pair unnoticed and hard the girl menttion Vale,

Folcon just snorted at her comment before looking at the man next to the girl. "You look familier, have we met before?"
"Hey Folcon," came Marth's voice from the other room. "What's taking so long? I'm hungry."
"The kitchen's destroyed Marth," Folcon called back. "You'll have to wait."
The door opened as Marth limped in. "What do you mean the kitchen's ... oh, I see."

I might as well get used to it if I'm going to Vale. Folcon still couldn't shake the fealing that he knew this guy. "By the way, I didn't catch your names, who are you?"

Folcon contemplated as he ate. Levi, he thought. I know that name sounds familier, but from where? He shrugged off the felling as he continued eating.
Marth, eating beside him, could sence his friend's unease. "Somthing wrong Folcon?" he asked.
"No Marth, just contemplating mortality," Folcon said, his typical response when he didn't want to discuss his problems out loud.
Marth just nodded, letting the matter drop. He soon finished his meal and put the plate aside, feeling much better. "So Levi, where you from?"

Issac entered the room with a tray of food and set it on the nightstand. Kalis sat up again and accepted the plate of food. After a few minates of eating, Issac said, "I heard you came out of the Golden Sun, is it true?"
Kalis just shruged his shoulders, "I guess so. One minate, I'm gliding down a snowcovered montain top, the next I get sucked into a glowing light and pulled through a tunnel of light, before getting thrown through the air and landing hear."
Issac glanced down a moment, a sad look on his face. "I'm sorry, if it hadn't ben for me, you wouldn't be here."
"What do you mean?" Kalis asked.
"My friends and I are the ones who lite the Elemental Lighthouses and rekindaled the Golden Sun. It's our fault your here."
"It ain't your fault, you didn't know what would happen."
"So, your not mad?"
"Well, I'm a little upset, but hey, I live for adventure. And what better adventure is there, than getting dumped in another world? I'll just have to make do," Kalis said.
Issac nodded and looked at the time, "I have to go. I need to help with the rebuilding of the village."
"I'll help too," Kalis said getting out of the bed as Issac was walking out.
"What?" Issac said as Kalis approached him. "But you, need - to huh, rest."
"Nonsence, I heal fast," Kalis grinned, flexing his musseles. "And besdies, I need to do something to earn my keep."

Thane moved towards the heavily guarded gate. "It's you!" one of the guards said with concern in his eyes, "You're... back already. That was quick, wasn't it?"
Thane knew they were in on the job he was given, but this shock of seeing him back so early was uneasy. Or was it shock of seeing him back at all?

Katar loved his city very much, but the prospect of an adventure was too enticing to pass up. He would be back soon anyway, there was probably nothing wrong in Vault. It was a small town, almost neglible in size. Even if it was lit with flames and all were dead, it wouldn't affect Weyard at all.
It wouldn't be a long journey. And Katar was more than ready for it.
"You are leaving, sir?" asked Crawford.
"Yes," he answered, nodding while looking north, "And you will help me prepare,"

Kalis pulled his Summoning Gauntlet out of his pack and slipped it on, before following Issac outside. Kalis activated the gauntlet as selected the pellet he wanted. When he felt the pellet click into position, Kalis said, “Step back for a minute, will you?”
“Huh?” Issac said. “Okay.”
Kalis hit the button inside the gauntlet and the pellet was ejected in a flash of light. The light shot forward a few paces and hovered in the air for a moment before expanding into clarity. Kalis stepped forward and reached into the light, grabbing the tool belt within. The moment he took hold of it, the light collapsed and disappeared. Kalis put the tool belt on and motioned for Issac to lead the way.
***
A few hours latter, Kalis was looking over the set of building plans he had drawn up. They were for a new watermill to help grind wheat, but they were more advanced than almost anything around. But the plans themselves were fairly simple, so the villagers could understand them, after all, Kalis had to make schematics for his inventions that someone without a college degree in engineering could understand. After showing them to the builders and explaining what the new adaptations did, the construction was advancing smoothly. The main building was already half finished, and the paddle wheel ready to lift into place when the building was finished. In a few more hours, the grinding stones would be in place, and the copper wiring, which the villagers still did not understand, was nearing completion. Kalis planned on setting up the water wheel to generate power earlier and had worked the mechanics into the plans. In a few weeks, Vale would be the first city in this world to harness electricity to its needs.

At the sound of the last words, Levi had a major flash back. It was him, sitting at a dock with a young woman. They were holding hands and laughing. It was the first good memory Levi remembered. They turned and hugged each other.
Levi eyes opened. He was kneeling on the ground. Icelia was kneeling in front of him with the villagers and the two travelers. "Wha... what happened?

Sanji wasn't too comfortable with this, but he looked at it as his chance to gather more information about the recent events and to maybe steal some useful stuff. After gathering the items he needed, Sanji had headed towards the fortress.
Now the he had agreed to do this, Sanji took a breath and opened the doors, then closed them behind him. The antechamber here wasn't big at all, and nothing was here, so Sanji headed into the next room.
This room was circular, so Sanji headed right first. This is just like an assassin's work. Sanji thought, I'm a cook. I can't believe I actually wanted to help... But after taking a couple steps he stopped and leaned his back against the stone wall. A red creature, the same exact one Sanji destroyed earlier, was walking in his direction with a gleeful look in its face. Or so Sanji thought it looked like.
Sanji ran on the wall as quietly and as best as he could, leapt behind the monster, then knifed it through the heart, the monster squirmed and twitched for several seconds, then died.
"It didn't blow up..." Sanji said to himself. "Thank God."
Leaving the carcass behind, sanji continued through the fortress.

In a few minutes, Folcon had climbed to the top of the bell tower and look over the destruction wrought in Vault. He took a few deep breaths to clear his mind, then began to focus his power. Withen seconds, his body began to glow a pale shade of purple, that slowly intensified till it was blindingly bright. At the same time, the wind began to pick up, and thunder clouds formed over head. The wind quickly began to pick up, scattering the ash and soot from the burned buildings, and lightning started to fork across the sky. And the wind continued to strengthen, but changed direction, blowing around Folcon faster and faster, untill he was lifted off the top of the tower. To the observer, it seemed as if he had grown in hight, which he did not, it was just an illution. After a few more seconds his eyes burst into white flames, like lighting. As the storm intesified, Folcon's shirt and vest tore away, followed shortly by his wing harness, causing his golden wings to unfold. Finnaly, it reached he reached the appex, and his voice echoed loudly over the country side as he shouted, "Whirlwind Tempest!"
At that point, a large bolt of lightning blazed from the sky, striking the center of town in the sqaure. Then, a massive tornado decended from the sky and came down upon the town. But as it came closer it broken into smaller branching twisters and they touched down in the streets of Vault, moving along the desrution and sucking up all the debris, while leaving the rest of the town unscathed. As the twisters finished sucking up the debris, they rose up into the air and movied into the nearby field, where all the debris was deposited into relitivly neat pile.
Just a little longer, Folcon thought, the strain starting to take its toll on him. Just a little longer and it will be done.
Finnaly, all the debris was out of the town, and Folcon began to slowly disspell the storm, the winds dying rapidly and the clouds dissapearing, untill the storm was gone, like it had never been there. And in the bright shining sun, Folcon decended from the sky on his golden wings.

"This must be some powerful Psyenergy!" Icelia yelled.
"Psyenergy? Is that the same thing that I use? Is that also what you use to heal people?"
Icelia nodded and continue to run out of the city. She seemed distracted again, then again Levi was thinking about the most recent memory. He was trying to depict who the two people were in his memory. There was a warmth that it brought him.
He brought it back to surface. He concentrated on who the young man was. The image started clearing up. A sign post read 'Kalay Docks'. He soon discovered that the young man was indeed him. He was smiling, talking to the young woman who he still couldn't distinguish. A crack of lighting brought him back to his senses and he kept running.
Icelia suddenly tripped over a small rock that was stuck out of the ground. She fell down with a thump. "Icelia!" Levi ran over to her. "Are you ok? Can you get up."
"No, my ankle..." Her voice echoed her pain.
"Here, I'll carry you out of here!" Levi picked Icelia up and continue to run out of the town.

Most of the town was still scorched and burned by the attacks of the fiery creatures, as it was when last he was here. He ignored the townsfolk clearing the mess and carrying wounded people and approached the fortress.
Surprisingly, there were no guards in front. He looked around with his golden eyes, expecting somebody to stop him from entering, but nobody did. Were they all helping the townsfolk, or were they letting him in for a reason?
He pushed the heavy doors open, then closed them after him. Thane walked forwards into a small room with nothing in it. He continued slowly into the next room.

As soon as the wind picked up, Marth knew what Folcon was doing. He made his way out of the inn and braced himself against a wall to watch. As the storm grew more fierce, he made his way into the roof of the inn and stood to the wind. The branched twister was already setting down in the town.
He couldn't help it, he laughed at the strength of the storm, as a twister moved right past him along the road. Somehow, the shear power of the storm, seemed to have had restored his strength. He stood there through the rest of the storm while Folcon did his thing.
Marth wasn't jealous in the least bit that Folcon had such power. Acording to the Avian, only his people, who had been in harmony with the power of the Winds, could use such power. But it took at least a century to master, far longer then what mortal men could live. Except for the Lemurians of course. But they used water Psynergy, not wind, so they could never use such power.
These people are lucky, Marth thought, to see such a display in thier life time. Hmmph, this is only my third time seeing it in seven years.
After a few more moments, the storm started to abate. Marth looked up and saw Folcon floating down to the ground, wings shinning in the sun. "Great," Marth sighed. "Now we got to get him a new vest." He jumped down from the roof and hit the ground rolling, easily getting to his feet. Marth went inside and grabbed the extra cloack and wineskin in his bag, then walked back outside. As Folcon touched down, Marth ran up with the cloak and handed it to Folcon.
The Avian excepted it and threw it over his shoulders, but kept his wings sticking out. Folcon just shook his head at Marth's questioning look and walked over to a boulder and sat down.
"You gonna be okay Folcon?" Marth asked.
Folcon scowled at him for a moment before he nodded and held out his hand. Marth put the wineskin in his hand and stepped back while Folcon took a long drink.
"Guess it's my turn to be tired, huh Marth," Folcon chuckled.

Levi couldn't shake the feeling though that there was a buried hatred for Folcon. He didn't understand where it came from. It was un-natural and he kept trying to shake it off. Levi instead turned his attention back to Icelia. "Hows your ankle doing?"
She sighed and took off her show to reveal that her ankle had swollen over. "Ouch! I wish there was something I could do..."

Sanji was pleased and tired. He had hardly encountered any opposition since he first entered, so he could take the time to explore. Sanji found several jewels and other cool junk he thought would come in handy, too.
However, the fortress was dark and mazelike, so Sanji had hardly progressed through, since he had to sneak past several enemies through the darkness, which he did slowly. After an hour had past since he first stepped into the fortress, Sanji found yet another door, so he opened it, expecting to see another room full of crates.
Instead, though, he found a woman who was sitting on a bed, sewing a scarf. She looked around to see who it was, and when her eyes met Sanji's, her expression changed from worry to joy.
"Thank the heavens, you're not one of those awful creatures. Who are you? How did you manage to make it all the way here?"
"I...snuck past." Sanji said. "And my name's Sanji. Do you have any idea how these things came?"
"I'm sorry, I don't." said the woman sadly, "However, my husband Donpa knows everything."
"You're Donpa's wife?" Sanji said in surprise, "Wow. Do you know where he is?"
"He's in the deepest cell of the fortress," she replied "and it won't be easy getting there. Let me tell you all I know about the passage to that cell. You won't be fighting anymore of those fire creatures. Instead, you'll be finding nasty traps along the way. The few soldiers who managed to get past here...they all got mutilated by the traps, and if you aren't careful, you'll die too. the other thing I want to say is that, in one of the other cells along the way, you should find our son Dodonpa. He knows a little about what's going on, and knows better than most how to avoid the traps."
"Your information is extremely appreciated, ma'am." Sanji said, and a fire reignited his excitement. "I'll take what you said and make the best of it."
"Think nothing of it." Donpa's wife said with a smile. "Oh, and before you go, let me give you this." She got up and went through a door near the bed. A couple seconds later, Donpa's wife reappeared, holding a Venus Djinni.
"The last time Isaac came to visit, he left a Djinni in my care. I think it should be returned to him now. But I'll give it to you for safekeeping until you find Isaac. You may find use in this Djinni, too."
Sanji was confused. Isaac...His name is brought up a lot. I need to know who he is. Djinni? I don't even know what that is...Oh well. Sanji took the Djinni, said his goodbye to Donpa's wife, then left.
After a minute of walking down a corridor, the Djinni spoke up, scaring Sanji.
"Yo. My name's Flint. Looks like we're traveling together, huh?"

Kalis walked into his room slumped onto the bed, sighing deeply. It had been an exausting day, but the mill was finished and fresh flour was being distributed. And four houses were also almost finished. Tomorrow he planned on helping to finish the houses and see what else needed to be built.
His thoughts were interupted by a knock a the door. "Come in," Kalis said looking up, and seeing Issac's head poking in.
Issac grinned and pushed the rest of the door open and brought a tray of food in. "Mom thought you deserved a good meal for helping the town so much," he said, setting the tray on the table.
"Tell her I said thank you," Kalis replied, moving to a chair.
"Mind if I join you?"
"Go ahead," Kalis said, taking the cover off the tray, to find two plate of meat, greens, and some sort of mashed food he asumed to be potatoes. "Looks like your mom expected it."
"Sometimes I think she has a sixth sence," Issac said, sitting down and grabbing a plate.
"I think most moms have it when they have a kid to raise. How else would they know when you get in trouble for doing something stupid?"
"Its just one of those mom things."
"Yea," Kalis said, looking down.
"Something wrong?" Issac asked.
"I, was just thinking of my mom, and how much she must be missing me," Kalis said. "We were never close,but..."
"Hey, cheer up Kalis. If you are upset when you eat, you could make yourself sick."
Kalis glared at Issac for a moment before throwning a green at him.
"Knock it off," Issac said. "I'm trying to eat."
"Then shut up and eat," Kalis said, digging in.
In a few more minutes, the food was gone. "Idon'tknowaboutyou," Kalis yawned, "but I'm beat."
Issac just nodded while he put the plates on the tray and got ready to leave. "See you sometime tomorrow Kalis."
"Hmm, yea, sure," Kalis said, getting up and moving to the bed. "See you latter."
Issac then left the room, closing the door behind him. In minutes, Kalis was asleep.

Thane was standing against the wall of a corridor just outside the room where some guy was talking to Donpa's wife. He had heard the whole conversation, and was very intrigued by the cells the woman spoke of. Perhaps he too would find his answers down there.
When Thane had first sighted this man prowling carefully through the corridors of the fortress he decided to follow him. He wasn't sure if the person has anything to do with the disappearance of the mayor of Vault, and if he did it was strange that he was walking through the complex with such alertnes. After the conversation with Donpa's wife, Thane knew he had nothing to do with his problem, so he decided to just make his way to the deepest parts of the fortress, forgetting about the man he had just spied on.

"I didn't know. Impulse. Besides, if it took you that long to heal your ankle, you would've been wiped out if we had just sat there."
Icelia shrugged, and tried to stand up. Levi took her hand and arm, helping her up. She felt a little pain still in her ankle and decided to walk it off.
"I don't like those two." She said plainly.
"I know...I get the same feeling. Especially for tornado man there. I know I have no reason to...but...I just get this sense of loathing whenever I'm around him." Levi explained.

"Of course I do. Then again, you must be one of those guys who don't know anything about Djinn." Flint replied happily. "Lemme give you an explanation..."
After Flint gives his Golden Sun (:The Lost Age) explanation...
Sanji nodded, "Ok, I think I get the basic concept. Anyhow, I apparently need to get you to Isaac, but I don't know where the guy is. Plus, I have lots of stuff I need to accomplish..."
"Meh, I don't mind, I suppose." Flint said. "Plus, we may just cross paths eventually."

As she manuevered around the apartment-sized house, she noticed something shining between a split board. Kneeling down, she picked up a shining blue orb. What the heck is this? It was the size of a golf-ball, fitting perfectly in her hand. It had the smoothness of a ping-pong ball, yet it was opaque in a crystaline way. It's so pretty...it almost looks as if it belongs to something, yet I don't have any idea what.
She frowned. How did this get here in the first place? As she stood up, she made sure not to drop it and put it safely in a little pocket of its own in her bag for safe keeping.
Things just keep on getting weirder...I guess that means it's just the beginning of something big. Icelia shook her head as she found the few necessary items she needed for her journey and decided to bring only things she couldn't replace.
Someone will need this place more than I do. I'm sure of it. Stepping out of the house with her shoulder bag full and ready to go, she turned and placed her hand on the door, saying a little blessing on the tiny house. I pray good luck to anyone who lives here next. Peace be with them.
She walked back to the Inn to see if Levi was ready to go.

"The stables right around the corner, we should hurry and get two."
"Ok, lets go." He let Icelia go a head of him. I finally maybe able to get some answers as to who... or what I am...
Levi then noticed something about Icelia. There was now a blue aura around her that wasn't there before. His eyes changed shape, attempting to see the source of the power.
"Icelia, whats that in your pocket?"

How...how did he know to look there? How did he know I had that? Great, does he read minds now too? her face turned pink, Ooooh God, I hope not.
She handed the orb to him to look at, "I've never seen anything like it, have you?"

"...Gentlemen, this experiment will create the greatest Alchemist of our time. The boy made from Alchemy will be injected with the energy from the Elemental Stars. Let us pray that we get it right."
Levi was in a middle of what looked like a cave. He was in the fetal position, cold. Men in white coats stood from a distance. Levi was laying on a strange circle. 4 statues stood at the outer edges of the cave. Each one had a orb, Venus, Mars, Jupitar, Mercury. Then the orbs grew bright and fired powerful beams of energy into Levi.
Levi eys opened and he gasped for air. "How...how is this possible!"
Icelia was shocked and scared. "What, what is it Levi?"
"This is... an Elemental Star!"

Folcon and Marth's story
Folcon hated it, but he was resigned to being stuck in the common room of the inn, listening to the villagers' praise. This was why he didn't reveal his power that often, but he knew he needed to help. He couldn't wait till he could get a chance to rest and regain his strength before erasing the events from their memories. But for now, all he could do was sit there and take it, while Marth stood over in the corner unable to anything to help.
And Folcon just hated it, the ceaseless praise, the fawning, the gawking at his golden wings, the fathers presenting their daughters. And Folcon just hated it. Suddenly, Levi showed up in the crowd and thanked him for his help. Folcon just nodded as Levi went on to announce that he was leaving. This seemed to break the mood, causing Folcon to quirk an eyebrow briefly. As the crowd started to leave, Folcon saw his chance and slipped away, nodding to Marth as he made it to the room they were staying in for the night.
Marth sat down on one of the beds while Folcon collapsed on the other. "You look beat," Marth said, worried.
"I am," Folcon replied. "I'm not sure which drained me more, using the Psynergy, or taking the praise. Do you realize how many fathers introduced their daughters to me?"
"I think it was four."
"Try seven. This is why I hate doing this," Folcon yawned. "The thing is, I don't know if it's worth it to erase these people's memories. It's not like there's anyone left who know about my people. Besides, it gets tedious to modify memories."
Marth just nodded before saying, "You should rest. You've worked hard."
"Hmm," Folcon grunted, stretching out and wrapping himself in his wings. In moments he was sound asleep.
Marth took of his boots and walked over to Folcon's bed and helped the sleeping Avian out of his. As he was about to step away, Folcon reached out and grabbed his wrist, pulling him close."
"Don't go," Folcon said in his sleep. "Stay here, for tonight."
Marth had been expecting this, it happened every time Folcon used a tremendous amount of power in a short amount of time. "Okay," Marth said softly, getting in the bed. He felt Folcon's arms wrap around him and his wings envelope him. At that point, Marth noticed Folcon was trembling, more then usual after an event like this. But in moments, Folcon relaxed, comfortable with his friend, and fell back into a deep sleep. After a few minutes, Marth too, was sound asleep.
((No these two are not g**, note that nothing happens, they just go to sleep.))

Icelia looked at him wide eyed. "An elemental star? How is that possible? Weren't they taken to light the beacons? They should be at the lighthouses...unless..." Her eyes grew even wider before, "...unless they un-lit when the golden sun arose!"
She looked at the little blue orb, reveling in it's beauty. Such a powerful object...it can't be...how could fate have chosen me to hold such a powerful wonder? There must have been some mistake. I'm too clumsy to take care of this. What if I let it fall into the wrong hands?! Her face showed worry that she could not hide. After all, she was terrified.
(ooc: hey, that rhymed! XD)
Edit:I'm going to bed now and I prolly won't be online tomorrow, so feel free to take over my character, kay?

Levi looked down. "Icelia, the memory of the stars, there was something else..."
Levi explained the whole memory to her.
"...I must get to Kalay Docks, no matter what, there has to be something there, waiting for me..."

He continued down one of the many passageways, going deeper into the Lunpa Fortress. As he was walking down a flight of stairs, they suddenly crumbled and and he fell with them. As quickly as he could, Thane stuck his staff between the two walls of the corridor to stop himself from falling any further. Gripping his rod with both of his hands, he looked down and saw huge spikes on the floor below.
The end of the walkway was close, he could see the room beyond, which thankfully didn't have spikes protruding from the ground. He swung his body to gain momentum, then twisted himself when he was almost horizontal so he could pull his staff along with him. He flew forwards a small distance and landed in the next room, almost falling onto the spines in the passageway behind him.
Pushing his pink hair out of his eyes, he looked around the room. It was just like every other room in this huge building, made of grey stone, with absolutely no decoration or detail. Thane marched into the next room, not knowing what to expect next.

It was dead, and I sure didn't kill it. Someone else in here is taking them out, huh? Sanji wondered to himself as he entered the corridor.
The corridor widened out a bit into a room with three jail cells. As Sanji walked into the open, he bent his body forward in time to dodge a spear thrust from a man clad in pitch black armor. Sanji spun around and nailed the soldier in the head, driving his head into the nearby wall, rendering the guy unconcious.
"Not only fire demons, but now there are these guys?" Sanji questioned himself, "I hate this place..."

Kalis woke the next morning feeling refreshed. Just as he finished changing into a fresh change of blue clothing and was pulling on his shoes, there was a knock at the door. "Hey Kalis, it's me Issac. My I come in?"
"Uh, yea, sure."
The door opened and Issac entered, followed a girl and two guys about Issac's age. "So this is the one you've been playing nurse-maid to huh?" said the red-headed guy.
"Show some class Garet," the guy with dark hair said, elbowing him in the gut.
"I just wanted to meet the person that was keeping Issac busy these last few days," the guy named Garet said, rubbing his stomach.
"Will you two knock it off," the girl said.
Issac said nothing, but just shook his head, while the girl went on. "My name's Jenna, that red-headed guy is Garet, and tall, dark, and serious over there, is my brother, Felix."
Kalis nodded at each of them before saying, "My name's Kalis. So, what can I do for you?"
"We just wanted to meet the person that was keeping Issac so busy," Garet said again. "And to thank him for helping with the reconstruction of the town."
Kalis reddened slightly before saying, "It wasn't much, really. I'm an enginer by trade."
"Well, anyway, thanks again. That watermill has been working great."
"So can you guys use magic too?" Kalis asked.
"Magic?" Jenna said. "Oh, you mean Psynergy. Yea, all of us can use it. Can't you?"
"No," Kalis said. "At least not real magic, or even Psynergy. The only stuff I can do is slight of hand tricks. Like so," Kalis reached over and pulled a coin out of Garet's ear, then proceded to make the coin dissappear.
"How'd you do that," Garet asked.
"Simple, like this," Kalis said, doing the trick agian.
"Yea, but how?"
"It's fairly simple realy. I just keep a coin in my hand when a reach for the ear, and slip it into the fingers to make it look like a pulled the coin out. Then I use the other hand to disstract you, while I palm the coin, like so. Like I said, I can't use any real magic."
"But what about that gauntlet you have?" Issac asked.
"This," Kalis said, showing of the device. "This aint magic, it's technology."
"Oh," Issac said.
"Come on Issac," Garet said. "It's time for training, and you've been missing out."
Issac looked at Kalis questioning. "You don't have to ask me for permision. I'm fine, really. In fact, mind if I tag along, I haven't had any sword practice in a while."
"Sure, why not." Felix said.
"Great, I'll be there in a minute, I just need to get my sword."
"But you didn't have one when you were found," Issac said.
"Thats because I keep it stored in here," Kalis replied, holding up his gauntlet and cycleing through the inventory untill him came to his sword. He then got up and went outside and activated the summuning device. As before, a beam of light shot out and formed a ball in the air. Then the light dissapeared and a sword was reveled as it fell to the ground and burried itself a few inches in the ground.
"Wow," Garet wistled. "Thats pretty cool."
Kalis walked over and plucked the sword from the earth and cleaned the blade. "Well, where do we go to practice?"

"So what are these lighthouses?"
"I can't believe you don't remember the lighthouses, the rise of the golden sun?"
"Again, sounds familiar, but I have no clue." Levi shook his head.
Icelia launched into detail the whole Golden Sun story. "What I don't get, is if those elemental came together to form the golden sun, then how the heck can I be holding one of them?" she shook her head, her pale blue hair bobbing in the air as she did, "Maybe it's something else."
"There was a blue aura about you, Icelia. I don't think that...thing, whatever it is, is just a good luck charm."
"Well maybe," she thought a moment, "but...I don't know. I don't know how I ended up with this."
They rode in silence a bit until she spoke up, "Levi...I envy you."
He looked at her concerned, "Why? I mean, you shouldn't envy me."
"You can at least remember bits and pieces of your past. To me...it's just...nothing. Blank. Empty. Space." she sighed. "To be honest, that's part of the reason I stayed around. I thought you had something to do with my past, and maybe you could help me figure it out. But the more I think about it, it doesn't make sense." She chuckled, "Lately, nothing makes sense."

He then looked over to Icelia "I'm very thankful to you for showing me the way. Who knows, maybe we can help each other recover our memories." Levi nodded. "I've made my mind up. I'll help you to recover your memories as repayment for saving my life."
Icelia blused a little. "You... you don't have to do that..."
"No, I insist, you saved my life, atleast I can do is to recover your past life."
Suddenly an idea poped into Levi's mind. "The Elemental Stars... You say the story goes that the stars were thrown into the lighthouses? Then afterwards the earth would open up after every time to allow the fully expanded Star to come through. That, seems illogical to me for some reason. Seems like something was done wrong. It could be a reason why it came to be in your possesion..."

"Well, i hope the middle door has something." Sanji said, and he threw a hard punch at the door.
It didn't break. Sanji punched and kicked several more times, and those still didn't break down the extremely resilient cell door. Suddenly, Sanji heard flint's voice call out to him.
"Sanji! Use my power! Remember the explanation I gave you."
Sanji tried to remember what Flint had told him before. Sanji drew his foot back, and focused on Flint's power, then unleashed a side kick, yelling "Flint!"
Sanji cleaved the door in half and blew it back. Sanji stood where he was, a little taken aback, but then regained his composure and ran into the room, then gasped. The room was very ornately decorated, with neat tiles, shiny walls, and expensive looking furniture. What caught Sanji's eye most, though, was a yellow orb, a bit smaller than a tennis ball, and a note that lay next to it. Sanji picked up the note and read it:
Dear Donpa,
As you recall, Iodem had just started to inherit control of Tolbi, since Babi died. Just recently, however, before the current outbreak of these monstrosities, Iodem gave me this yellow orb, saying he found it in Tolbi not long after the Golden Sun was released. I strongly believe this to be the Venus Star, and it must be protected at all costs. I'll tell you everything else when you'll come to Tolbi, but right now, keep the star somewhere NO ONE should even touch it.
Your Son,
Dodonpa
Sanji recognized what Dodonpa was talking about as one of the four Elemental Stars required to light Weyard's four Lighthouses. Still... Sanji thought to himself, Why did his mother tell me he was in the fortress? Does she even know anything else that's going on?
Pocketing the star, Sanji sped out of the corridor, and ran down the stairs he first skipped. He had to jump over a hole in the middle of the stairs, then he landed at the bottom.

He pressed himself to the side of the wall, looking at the entrance to the left of him, waiting for someone to walk in. Suddenly, he felt something extremely hot to his right, and turned his head to see another one of the fiery creatures standing next to him. Next thing he knew, the monster had punched him with tremendous power. Thane flew across the room and smashed into the wall on the opposite side. He stood up and readied his bo staff, only to see a dozen of the demons walking towards him.
Thane ran forward, twirling his staff over his head, and smacked one of the creatures over the face. Hoping not to give them a chance to attack, he spun around, hitting every enemy he could in his circular motion. With a wave of his free hand, he attacked one of the demons with a blade of focused air, and the abomination was killed by the power of the Sonic Slash. But there were too many of them, and he was punched yet again, this time from behind.

Folcon and Marth's story
Marth woke late that afternoon, and saw that, once agian, Folcon was gone. Marth sighed, and reflected on the day's events. After a few minutes, he was broken from his thoughts as Folcon shouldered his way through the door, a large cape over his shoulders, and a bundle of clothes in his arms.
He put down the clothes an took off the cape, his wings glistening in the afternoon sun. Folcon then pulled a new wing harness out of the bundle and put it on. He then folded his wings, and strapped them in place. He then put on a vest over the harness and a jacket over the vest. He then looked at Marth and asked, "I don't know, what do you think? The material here is actualy better then what I had before from Tolbi."
Marth just shruged his shoulders before asking, "Where do we go now?"
Folcon paused for a moment before saying, "I asked around and it turns out that Levi and that girl Icelia left the town a few hours ago heading south on horse back. I don't know, there is just something about him I don't like. I know I've encountered him before years ago, but I can't remember why, or exactly when. But we will go to Vale as we origanaly planned, I hope to find some answers there."
"Have you erased the villigers' memories yet?" Marth asked.
Folcon shook his head, "No. I don't see a point anymore in it. All my enimies are long since gone, and I dought anyone will believe the story in other towns. So I'll let it be, this time."
"When do we leave?" Marth asked.
"As soon as you get your stuff together. I want to leave before nightfall."
"Just try and keep ypur calm while in Vale. I don't know much about it, but I do know that there are a bunch of Adepts there. Try not to kill anyone."
Folcon just smirked, "I'll try."

"We'll be going just outside of town," Felix said, leading the way through the village. In a few minutes they had passed through the town square and exited the village.
"All right, let's get started," Garet said. "I'll spar with Issac, Kalis, you spar with Felix."
"Since when do you give the orders?" Felix said as he drew his sword and approached Kalis.
"Just go easy on me for a few minutes till I get warmed up," Kalis said.
"Sure," Felix nodded, stepping back and raising his blade. "Take the first move when your ready."
Kalis nodded and checked to make sure the power on his sword was turned off, then brought his blade up. "Let's go."
Kalis ran foward and attacked Felix with a vertical overhead swing, which Felix blocked easily, and countered with a horizontal swing aimed for Kalis's knees. Kalis jumped the swing and swung his own sword down at Felix's shoulder. Felix doged the swing by throwing himself to the side and rolled back onto his feet, before dashing in close to attack Kalis. Kalis backflipped out of range, avoiding the blow.
"Your good," Kalis said.
"As are you. Are you warmed up yet?"
"Yea, so I guess it's time to take this up a notch." Kalis ran foward and swung a blow aimed for Felix's arm, which Felix blocked, just as Kalis planned as he moved in close and brought his knee into Felix's groin. Felix gasped, dropping his sword and falling to his knees, clutching his self.
"Didn't *wheeze* see that *gasp* coming."
"You gonna be alright?" Kalis asked as Issac and the others walked over.
"*pant* yea, I'll be fine," Felix said, getting shakenly back to his feet.
"Is that how they teach swordsmanship where your from?" Issac asked.
"Not really, I use my own style of martial arts combined with swordsmanship."
"You'll have to show me sometime," Issac said.
"Me too," Garet replied.

Suddenly a pillar of lava came out of the ground. "Woa! What is this!" The horse's neighed loudly and stood up on their hind legs for a moment. "Easy there! Calm down!"
The horses began to settle. Icelia let out a sigh of relief. "That was close."
Levi took in a deep breath. "Jeez, that isn't natural. This place doesn't seem to be affected by volcanoes or anything else. Wait a minute." Levi closed his eyes for a second, then opened them again. They were diamond shaped this time. He looked into the center of the stream of fire. "It isn't natural, there is something in the middle of it sustaining it."
Icelia looked at Levi. "What could cause such a thing to occur?"
"It's giving off the same aura that the Mercury Star gives off..." Levi jumped off his horse. He got a little closer to the fire piller. Placing his palms on the ground he formed a stalgmite in front of him. He tore the top of it off and threw it right into the center of the fire. A small orb was knocked out of the center of it, causing the fire to dissapate. Levi walked up to it and picked it up from the ground. "The Mars Star..."

Folcon and Marth managed to slip out of Vault unnoticed and got on the trail to Vale. As they made their way down the path Folcon said, "This will be interesting."
"Why," asked Marth.
"It's been over fifty years since I was last in Vale. I wonder if there is anyone alive there tha might remember me."
"Wouldn't you have erased thier memories?"
"No," said Folcon. "I didn't need to that time. So we shall see."
Without warning, the sky darkened as a storm brew up, the wind getting stronger and stronger.
"What's happening," Marth shouted over the wind.
"I don't know," Folcon shouted back, looking up into the sky as a massive tornado started to decend. Suddenly, as the twister touched ground, a bright purple light began to shine from the center of it. "It can't be," Folcon said.
"What," Marth shouted, holding tightly to Folcon now.
"Hang on," Folcon said, pulling a length of rope from his pack. He then lashed Marth securly to himself.
"What are you doing," Marth shouted.
"Just trust me," Folcon said lodly as he pulled the cord and released his wings. Abruptly, the were caught in the wind and started to flail about. Folcon got them under control, and with Marth still tied to him, took a running start and leaped into the air, beating his wings powerfully. Within moments his was being dragged by the wind, but he managed to make headway as he slowly neared the center of the twister. After a few more seconds, they broke through the last bit of wind and were in the center of the twister, where it was somewhat calmer. And right above them, was a bright glowing ball of purple light. Folcon flew up to it and grasped the ball of light in his hand. The moment he touched it, it storm and the twister vanished, as if they were never there. Still aloft, Folcon opened his hand, revealing a perfectly round sphere of purple gemstone.
"I thought so," Folcon said softly.
"What is it?" Marth asked, as they started to decend.
"This my friend, is the Jupiter Star."

Icelia looked at the mars star carefully, then held her own Mercury star close to it. "If these really are the elemental stars, then we're in big trouble. Dozens of people, now knowledgeable of alchemy, would most likely KILL to get their hands on one of these."
She looked north in the direction of Mount Aleph. "If what you said is true, about a flaw in the rise of the Golden Sun, then that means that Weyard is still decaying." she frowned, "So does that mean WE have to light the lighthouses?"
Suddenly, she began to feel light headed..."uhh...I don't feel...so...good." within seconds, she blacked out.
Then, all was white. A static image began to creep its way into her mind, and suddenly, a full one. A glorious ship began to disembark from a fleet of other intricate and amazing ships. Blue haired people waved as they began to pull away from the lush green scenery and beautiful crystalline waters. As they sailed away, the image of the people became blurry again, and black settled on all corners of her mind.
Then she awoke.

"I... I think I just remembered something..."
Levi looked in amazement. "You remembered something?
Icelia smiled with joy. "I remembered something from my past."
"Thats great!" Levi and Icelia hugged each other for a moment. They then both blushed and let go of each other. Levi spoke first. "Umm, so, what was in your memory?"
Icelia told Levi of the blue haired people and them leaving on a ship.
"Hmmm, blue haired people, just like you?" Levi asked. Icelia nodded. Levi put his hand to his chin. "Let me think, is there somewhere in my memory about a race of people with blue hair..." He dug through the scatter pieces of his memory to see if there was any thing relating to them. Lemurians
"Icelia, do you know anything about Lemurians?"...

"How can you tell?" Marth asked.
"I can feel it's power resinating in my hand," Folcon replied.
"What are you going to do with it?" Marth asked as he untied himself from his friend.
"I don't know yet. The Star was supposed to be comsumed when the Lighthouse was lit. So if it is here, then something had to have gone wrong. We need to hurry to Vale, I hope we can find some answers there."
Marth nodded and they continued down the trail to Vale through the rest of the afternoon and into the night.

Before Sanji went through the door in front of him, he perused the letter that Dodonpa wrote to Donpa. As he looked at the back side, however, he found a postscript message:
P.S.
You know what? Keep the Venus Star on you in person, Father. It's probably much safer that way. Why don't you set up the Venus Enchancer orb as a decoy somewhere in the fortress? In case anyone or anything manages to penetrate its walls, or someone in there turns traitor, he or she could be fooled. Security is a bliss.
Sanji took the orb back out of his pocket and looked at it. So this isn't the Venus Star...Darn. He thought, But what's a Venus Enhancer? Whatever, I'll figure it out as I go.
As sanji went through the door, he moved to the side to narrowly avoid a fast fireball from inside the next room. It singed a tiny amount of Sanji's hair, since the doorway wasn't big enough for Sanji to move away from the whole thing.
As Sanji looked back forward, he opened his mouth in surprise. Almost two dozen fire demons had assembled, and half of them were going for him. The other half, however, were focused on something else. Sanji readied his right leg. "Alright, here we go! Flint!"
Flint's power, however, got magnified somehow; Sanji let loose a much more powerful cleaving kick than he did before, blowing the dozen demons in front of him away from him and into the wall adjacent to him.
"What the heck?" Sanji said in confusion. "Flint, how...?"
"It's the Venus Enhancer, of course!" Flint's voice called out. "The orb is a one-of-a-kind item that was created before the Golden Age. It increases the power of Earth psynergy, and since I'm an Earth element creature, it's natural my power increases as well."
"You know what, Flint?" Sanji said with a grin, "You're pretty handy." Sanji heard a shreik from his left, so he turned around and noticed what the other fire demons were paying attention to. A pink haired man with a wooden staff was struggling against them; he was beaten up a bit.
"Hey!" Sanji called out. "Leave him alone!" As Sanji ran towards them, he lifted his leg back, then let his momentum fling his attack forward:
"Fendoir de Gaia!"
Sanji released a big blade of Earth energy right at his enemies, pulverizing them in an instant.
"My technique didn't get powered up." Sanji said. "I though that orb powered up all Earth attacks..."
"Well..." Flint began, "It only works for Psynergy and us Djinn. I forgot to mention that."
"Oh well." Sanji said. He ran over to the man with pink hair.
"You alright?"

Thane clutched his arm. It was still bleeding and bruised form the battle in Vault, which was making it hard for him to wield his staff properly.
As he was kneeling on the ground, his staff lying on the floor a few feet away from him, all he could see were the legs of a few fire demons walking towards him, making him sweat from the intense heat they expelled. Suddenly, something knocked them off their feet, and most of them were killed.
He grabbed his weapon and stood up. He wasn't very surprised to see it was the man he had overheard speaking to Donpa's wife. "You alright?", the guy asked.
Thane lunged at him as if to attack the man, but threw him aside, and cast Mist on a monster that was just about to throw a fireball at them. The foe was wrapped in a cloud of delusion and shot the fireball at the ceiling, sending peaces of it falling to the floor.
After that, Thane cast Drain at it and his wounds healed slightly. Finally, the mercenary smashed the creature over the head with his weapon, breaking its neck and instantly killing it.
Thane turned to the man who had saved him, "Yeah, I'm all right"

Kalis spent the rest of the day training with Issac and his friends, switching sparring partners throughout the afternoon. Out of seventeen matches that day, Kalis had only lost four. That evening, he and Issac were invited over to Felix's house for dinner. Nothing really special happened, except Issac drank a little too much and passed out, and Kalis returned to Issac's house, carrying a slightly intoxicated Issac on his shoulider.
Kyle spotted them as they entered the house and hurried over to give Kalis a hand in dragging Issac to his room. Once they dumped him on the bed, Kyle and Kalis left the room.
"I want to thank you for letting me stay here," Kalis said. "I hope I'm not being a burden."
"It's not a problem at all Kalis," Kyle said. "We are glad to have you here."
"Still, I hope to find a place of my own to stay. Even if I have to clear the land and build a house myself."
"I don't think that would be necesary. You've done so much for the village, that everyone here would be honored to help you."
Kalis just nodded before turning to his own room, "Good night sir."
"Good night Kalis," Kyle chuckled as the door closed.

She shook her head, "Well this is good news. Hopefully more clues will come to me--without blacking out, that is." she laughed, "We should be going though. We'll never make it to Kalay at this rate."
They saddled their horses and began to ride off, Icelia leading the way. I actually remembered! What if it was just a dream?...No...Those people. They must be my people. Lemurians? I shall find them!

It was just past midnight when Vale came into view, "Let's stop here for the night," Folcon said. "I want to enter Vale in daylight."
Marth just nodded as he stepped off the trail and set his pack down. In a few minutes, he had a fire going and was rolling out his sleeping stuff. Suddenly he heard a scuffleing sound coming from a tree he turned toward it saw nothing, and Folcon was gone. "Up here," said the tree. Marth looked up and saw Folcon sitting in the branches of the tree.
"Are you making a nest up there?" Marth grinned.
Folcon scowled a snapped off a branch and threw it at Marth, who caught it in the air. "Shut up kid, I'm takeing the first watch."
"Is that realy neccesary?" Marth asked. "There's a villiage just down the road."
"Yes, a village full of Adepts," Folcon spat. "Besides, we're still far enough away, that if something happened, help wouldn't get here in time."
"Are you expecting trouble?"
"I always expect trouble."
"Yea, yea, I know. You don't trust anyone."
"Your wrong Marth," Folcon said softly. "I trust you."
An uncomfortable silence followed for a while, before Marth said, "Good night Folcon."
"Huh, right. Good night kid."
Marth was soon asleep, and Folcon stretched out in the branches. Vale, he thought, its been a long time since I've been here. I wonder if anything has changed. Who am I kidding, of course it has. All the children there will have grown up, and all the old people are bound to be dead. But I do wonder, who there might still remember me.
*flashback fifty years*
Young Mayor: thank you so much for helpping us Folcon. Is there any way we can repay you?
Folcon: I would like to enter Sol Sanctum.
Young Mayor: Sol Sanctum is a sacred place, we can not let you in further than the outer chambers.
Folcon: That is fine mayor, I was hopeing to leave somthing there, to keep safe. Untill I return for it some day.
Young Mayor: Very well. Dora. A young girl steps foward. Will you please take Mr. Folcon to the sanctum so one of the priests can take him inside.
Little girl named Dora: Yes mayor. Right this way Mr. Folcon.
They go to the Sanctum
Priest: Greatings Dora. Mr. folcon. What can I do for you?
Little girl named Dora: The mayor has given Folcon permission to be taken into Sol Sanctum. He wishes to leave something there for safekeeping.
Priest: Is this true?
Folcon: nods Yes, it is.
Priest: Very well, come with me.
Dora: Can I come too?
Priest: No little on, this is for big people to do.
Dora: Phooy.
Folcon: This won't take long.
Folcon and the priest enter the Sanctum. After a few minutes, they come to a locked door. The priest pulls out a key and unlocks it. Inside is an alter.
Priest: This room is no longer in use. Will itsuffice?
Folcon: Yes. Takes a small bag out of his coat and places it on the alter.
Priest: Oh Great Wise One, I call upon the to watch over this item, as you would they Stars themselves.
The priest leads Folcon from the room. He turns and locks the door. He then hands the key to Folcon.
Priest: There are only two keys to this room. You now posses one of them. The other will be handed down to each head priest, until you return to reclaim your tresure.
Folcon: And I have your word that no one will disturbe it.
Priest: Yes the Wise One and his fellows will watch over it.
Folcon: nods Good, will you please lead the way out now.
***
Folcon was brought out of his thoughts by a precence. He looked up and saw floating before him, a round stone eye. "Greeting oh Wise One," Folcon said.
You have returned, young Avian, the Wise One said.
"Yes, I have."
Is it for that which you left?
"I was considering it."
It will be hard to find. Sol Sanctum is no more. But the room is still intact. Guarded by my fellow. You can find tomorrow, if you look hard enough.
"Thank you."
The folating eye then floated away. And Folcon fell asleep.
The next morning, Folcon and Marth entered Vale.

Who exactly are the Lemurians?
Levi returned to the white room with the dark figure. "It was you who told me the name, do you know about them? Can you tell me about them?" The dark figure scoffed.
"Yeah, I can tell you anything about them. Though, I don't see any reason why I should tell you anything.
Levi scowled. "Well, is there anything you want from me?"
"Heh, I was hoping you would ask..." The shadow walked towards Levi. "I want you to listen to your little friend and re-light the Elemental Lighthouses. I want you to do it right though! It seems like the fools who did it last time just threw it in. Idiots...
Levi crossed his arms"Wait, thats not exactly a fair trade. You need to give me any information I want at any time for such a task."
The figure nodded "As much as you need... I do hold vast amounts of informations from the civilizations..." He paused. "Consider it done..."

The next morning, Kalis rolled out of bed and was dressed earlier than usual. He slipped out of his room, and went down stairs. He could smeel something good coming from the kitchen and poked his head in. Inside he saw Dora, cooking at the stove. And sitting at the table, was a young, blond haired girl dressed in purple robes. She's cute, Kalis thought. But a little too young for me.
The girl turned toward him and said, "Your too kind. You must be Kalis, Issac's guest. My name's Sheba."
"Sheba, what have I told you about reading people's minds in this house?"
"I didn't do it on purpose," the girl said inocently. "He was broadcasting his thooughts, any Jupiter Adept could have herd it."
Kalis walked over to the table and sat down. "So you read my mind huh? I thought those that could had to follow some code, about not reading minds without permission."
Sheba's eyes went wide, "How'd you know about that?"
"The same rule exists in my world, but mindreaders exist only in fiction where I'm from."
"Where are you from?"
"Not here," Kalis snorted.
"No duh. So where, what's it like?"
"It's hard to discribe, it's ... a more, complicated world. And why do you want to know?"
"I am curious, that's all."
"If you realy want to know, it's bigger than this world, at least from the size Issac described it. Bigger, and ball shaped, not flat. And there's no Psynergy."
"No Psynergy, than how do you acompish anything?" Sheba asked, "Wait, that came out wrong."
"You mean how do we do work and creat without Psynergy?"
"Yes."
Kalis nodded, "We use machines, and have bent the elements to our needs to power them. We use wind, water, fire, even the energy of the sun, to generate power. To cook our food, to light our homes, and even to sail across the ocean."
"But we can do most of that with Psynergy."
"Can Psynergy, keep a man alive, when you must cut him open to repair his heart? Can Psynergy allow people to survive in deep depths below the water? Can Psynergy allow you to travel above the clouds?"
"No, but can your world build anything like the great Lighthouses?"
"Yes, I've seen them. Buildings, over a thousand feet tall, that seem to scrape the sky themselves. Look in my mind, you will see I don't lie."
"I believe you."
"Breakfast is ready," Dora said. "Where's Issac, he never sleeps this late?"
"Probalby regretting all the alchool, he had last night, with a serious hangover," Kalis said.
"Then let's go wake him," Sheba said, with a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Don't bother," Issac groaned, coming down the stairs. "Ohh, my head."
"That's what happens when you drink too much," Dora said frowning.
"I don't get it Kalis, you had more to drink than I did."
"I'm also older than you and have a higher tollerance than you."
"Not so loud," Issac said.
"Maybe Piers can help you. He should ne here soon."
"Piers is here now," said a voice.
Everyone turned toward the door and saw a blue haired young man at the door. And beside him was a young girl with blue hair.

Sanji ran for some time, avoiding some dangerous traps, such as blades sliding out from walls, pitfalls, and spears shooting out from under the ground. Sanji, after scurrying back and forth for a long time, finally arrived at the hallway before the last room, where Donpa must be locked up in.
Sanji opened the door carefully, but no one was there to greet him. Sanji walked quietly towards the jail door and opened it with a Cell Key he found. He opened the jail door and found Donpa lying on the ground unconcious, and another person Sanji vaguely remembered, and it wasn't a pleasant memory. Not only that, it was the last person Sanji would ever expect to see.
It was the hooded figure with the flaming spear whose image flashed through Sanji's mind when he and Icelia were treating Levi. Sanji narrowed his eyes, then opened them with surprise; the hooded man was tossing a yellow orb up and down, a sphere that, although the same size as the Venus Enhancer, was a more brilliant yellow and exuded a much more powerful aura of energy.
The Venus Star.
"You--HEY!" Sanji yelled, "That star has no right to be placed in your hands! Give it to me!"
The hooded man responded to Sanji in a surprisingly creepy voice that could send chills down anyone's spine.
"Hahaha, Sanji...I've been waiting for you. I hope you've come prepared for the afterlife."
Sanji had no choice. The man was extremely powerful, as Sanji could tell by the amount of energy the guy was giving off. Sanji started spinning around at a high speed until he abruptly stopped, his right foot and lower right leg were a scorching hot, fiery red.
"Diable Jambe! This is the leg of the devil! Prepare yourself!"
Sanji lunged at the man with his foot forward. "Diable Jambe...Lance Etouffante!"
The man dodged the kick effortlessly. Sanji kept trying to punch and kick the man, but the attacks that Sanji would normally always hit with were all being avoided too easily.
"You may be considered a great fighter, Sanji, but you're powerless in front of me. I have no use to play with a weakling like you. Only come looking for me when you become stronger."
The hooded man lifted his spear, and it glowed a whitish-red for a couple seconds before reverting back to normal. He then teleported in a mass of flames, and he took all the fire demons in the fortress with him.
Sanji reverted his leg back to normal, energy wasted. Look on the bright side... Sanji thought in disappointment, At least Donpa's safe. That's the whole point I was here in the first place anyways, to get him back out alive.
Sanji still couldn't shake off his feeling of despair that the hooded man went off with the Venus Star. this, the key to lighting the Venus Lighthouse and an important factor in releasing Alchemy, was stolen.
"Great." Sanji said. "First, this guy comes out of nowhere, and now that he's stolen the Venus Star...*Sigh*, What a hassle...Guess it's fate. Now I have to get it back."
Picking Donpa up on his back, Sanji started trekking out of the fortress, tired, disgruntled, and very, very hungry.

Thane walked through a few bare rooms, surprisingly not encountering any traps, but then came to a fork. He could choose to go left, right or straight ahead. He chose to go right, but just as he took his first step towards the corridor, he had a strange feeling that told him he should go left. Pushing back his hair, he thought about what he should do, and in the end chose to go through the left archway.
He walked slowly through an extremely long passageway, which was getting darker with every few steps he took. Finally, he reached a wooden door, but it was locked. Having a job that requires being able to open locked doors, Thane knew exactly what to do. He slid the knife he had put in his sleeve into his hand, and patiently picked the lock with it. It took a few minutes, but he succeeded in the end and pushed the door open.
Behind it was a small round room, as bare and cold as all the others. It was a dead end, but there was something unusual here. In the middle of the room was a figure cloaked in beautiful black and red clothing.
(OOC: Note that this isn't the same hooded person who gsninja has been writing about. I just thought I ought to clarify that)

"ehuh?" He snapped his head towards her as if he were snapping out of some sort of trance.
"Did you even hear the last five minutes of what I've been saying?" She said with a hint of irritation in her voice.
"Eh...no. Sorry." He rubbed his head sheepishly and went on to explain the vision.
"Light the lighthouses..." she mused. "Oh this will go over just LOVELY." she sighed. "Well, we better start collecting adepts."
"Why is that?"
"You need at least one of each element to enter the lighthouses, or so the rumor goes. I believe it...I've only entered the first corridor of the Venus lighthouse and realized I couldn't get far." she sighed, "The biggest problem is going to be finding a Jupiter adept. They're scarce. Our best bet is to sail to Contigo, but that's quite a round-about trip."
She noticed Levi raising an eyebrow. "What?" she asked
"I...I'm just surprised. You're really up for this?"
"What have I got to lose? Maybe I'll find some answers."

"What's wrong with Issac?" the blue haired girl asked.
"He's suffering from the unfortunate after effect of drinking too much," Kalis said.
"He's what?" asked the blue haired guy who said his name was Piers.
"He has a hangover," Kalis said simplely.
"And who are you?" the girl asked.
"Name's Kalis, I'm the new guy in town. And who are you guys?"
"I'm Piers," said the blue haired man. "And this is Mia. We're friends of Issac."
"He sure is a popular guy," Kalis said.
"Why is everyone talking like I'm not in the room," Issac said.
"Because it's fun," Sheba said.
"Hey Kalis, are you a water Adept too?" asked Mia.
"No, why do you ask?"
"You have blue hair, and water Adepts are the only one's that have blue hair," Piers said.
Kalis shook his head and smiled, "I dye my hair blue, so this aint my natural color."
A knock at the door interupted there conversation. "Hey guys," Garet said, sticking his head in the door. "Everyone hurry over to my grandfather's house. There's some guy demanding to be allowed on Mt. Aleph."
Everyone hurried after Garet as he left and rushed over to the mayor's house. As the got closer, they saw mayor talking to a stranger, "The last time someone entered Mt. Aleph, the Stars were stolen, and the world endangered."
"But was not the world already in danger?" a white haired man asked calmly.
"Still, we can not allow you on the mountain, regardless of any previous oaths."
"I see," the man said. "Is this because you dout what I say and who I claim to be?"
"No, I believe you are who you say you are. But after the Stars were stolen, the elders of the village agrred that no one other than the priests would be aloud on Mt. Aleph."
"I hope you will reconsider. I will be waiting at the inn incase you do."
The man turned away and walked toward Kalis and the people gathered around him. "Excuses me," he said, pushing his way past.
As he pushed past Piers, the man's cloak shifted slightly and the young man saw a flash of gold. "Hey wait," Piers called after the man.
The man stopped and turned, looking Piers in the eye. "May I help you?" he asked.
Piers's eyes grew large as he said, "I know you, your that man who tried to challenge Lemuria. белый волосый демон ветра, The White Haired Demon!"

Icelia nodded. "Yeah, no problem." Icelia climbed down and headed towards the inn. Levi took the horses by their reigns and lead them down the road. "What a long ride. Least we weren't attacked by any more monsters." Levi pulled out the Mars Star and studied it. "Hmmm, how odd, this Star isn't pulsing with as much power as the Mercury Star. Could this be why Alchemy didn't truly come back?"
Levi looked up and saw the docks. The same sign that was in his memory. He headed over to a nearby stable and dropped the horses off as fast as he could. He shortly returned to the dock. "So, this is Kalay Docks?" He started walking towards the pier. He was anxious, he had no idea what would happen. Would his memories return? Would he reckognize the young lady. He finally reached the end of the pier. He looked around. "Huh, nothing..." He sat down and put his hand on his chin. "I guess I was wrong about this then."
"Levi?"
Levi turned around. "Oh, Icelia..."

"Now..." said the woman, "You must be wondering why you were sent to Vault, and then made to come back here," Thane nodded.
"The reason you were tasked with assassinating the mayor of Vault was to get you killed. They knew that the demons which had attacked Lunpa would be heading to Vault next, and hoped that the dark creatures would kill you. They left the letter you saw in the mayor's house to kill you when you got back to Lunpa, in case their original idea didn't succeed."
"I suspected parts of that story" Thane said, "But I still don't understand why they would give me a large amount of money, and then want me dead."
"Because it was extremely important to them that you thought this was just another job..." the woman began but was interrupted.
"Who are they that you keep talking about?" Thane asked.
"They are the leaders of towns and organizations across Weyard," she said.
"Who... Ah yes." Thane said, "My old friends Briggs and Akafubu and... Well, everyone who wishes to see me dead. I'm guessing the mayor of Vault was in on this grand plan too. So, they've all teamed up to get rid of me? That doesn't sound like them... Why has my death suddenly become top priority?"
"Because of a prediction I had made," the mysterious woman said, "A prediction that jeopardizes them and possibly many other people."

In another meeting with the army captains and generals, Donpa included this time, Sanji explained what had happened in the fortress and the whole reason he came to Lunpa in the first place. Donpa had said he knewwhat Sanji was talking about, so he gave Sanji what he wanted: documents containing information on the Golden Sun. Sanji got together his things, placed the documents in his bag as well, and said his goodbyes to everyone before setting off.
Now, Sanji is running towards Kalay, to board the ship to his next destination: Tolbi. Sanji was going there for two reasons: To talk to Iodem about the Venus Star and to participate in Colosso, which was coming up.
As Sanji was crossing the second bridge south of Vault, he saw a katana on the ground. "What kind of katana is this?" Sanji questioned himself. Its blade was a light purple color.
"Well, it's a nice sword. Guess I'll sell it. No need for another katana." Sanji said rather brightly. Nevertheless, he continued his little trip down to Kalay with the katana in his hand.

A short silence followed.
"A prediction? What kind of prediction?" Thane said, growing a little impatient.
"You know of the Elemental Stars, do you not?" the woman said.
"Yes, yes, everybody knows of them. I even met a group of four Adepts carrying the Jupiter Star in a bag made of Mythril. It was none of my concern at the time though... What about them?"
"My prophecy says that if you manage to obtain one of these Stars, you will find a hidden power within each of them. A tremendous power that you could use for anything you wished. If all four of the Orbs were in your possession, you would possibly have enough might to rule all of Weyard."
Thane stared blankly at the hooded person, trying to comprehend what she had just told him.
"According to my prophecy, you are one of few people who would be able to unlock these unseen powers," she continued, "However, I cannot predict what you would do if you were ever to find the Stars, and I also do not know whether or not you really will find them. As of my reasons for telling you all of this... These reasons are my own."
Thane sat on the floor, noticing nothing around him, thinking only of what he would do if he were ever to find the Elemental Stars. He would be able to rid the world of all the people who try to hunt him down, including Briggs, Akafubu and many others. He would be able to complete any task with ease, and could charge a fortune for his work. He would finally be able to find his sister... And most importantly, he would be able to rule the world.
But is that what he truly wanted? Rulling the world, or anything for that matter, was never one of his dreams. He was content with being a lowly mercenary. Also, he knew of the dangers Weyard faced if the Lighthouses were not lit. But new ideas, new ambitions began growing inside of him...

Icelia came up next to Levi and sat down. "Well, if this a dead end, what do we do now?" Icelia stated. Levi sighed. "I don't know, I was hoping I would figure something out when my memory came back." Icelia frowned.
"Come on, so you didn't remember anything, that shouldn't stop you from being able to decide your future."
Levi looked up a bit surprised. "Er, yeah, your right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't let something like this stop me."
Levi smiled. "Thank you, if you weren't here, I don't think I could do this."
Icelia blushed a little. "It's nothing, really..."
"I'm serious. I think if I tried this by myself, I don't think I could go very far. I mean, I didn't even know how to get here. I really appreciate you for all your help."
Levi leaned over and gave Icelia a hug.
Suddenly Levi had the flashback he was hoping for. It was the same location, but at sunset. He could now see the young woman that he was hugging.
Levi snapped out of it. "It can't be..."

Reveria heard a thud on the floor, turning around, she took her first glance at the young lad that lay face down on the floor. Deciding that she would try to impress and many as possible, she casually walked up to him and offered him a hand.
"Are you... alright?"
The yound man looked up, and it was then she saw his eyes for the "frst time, but it felt as if they had met somewhere before.
Trying he hardess to remember what she learned about manners from her maids, she squeezed a couple of words out of mouth. "Uh.. Greetings sir... my...um name... ah,... I am Iryn, daughter of McGil Nelson. It's... a.. pla-- pleasure to meet you."
...
"Rio, is it? What a interesting name! May we meet again some day."
((Skip, skip skip))
After a no-so-exciting excipidition to Vault, Reveria returned to Kalay where she hired a ship and crew and travelled to Tolbi.
"My oh my! This country sure is facinating! Malice! What did you say this city was called?" Reveria exclaimed.
"This is Tolbi, ma'ma. It's famous for it tourism attractions, including the fountain located at the centre of this town." The seemingly knowledgable girl stepped forward from the row of servants and answered.

Folcon and Marth made thier way to the inn and discussed thier plans. "So, we're here. Now what?" Marth asked.
"I want to investiagate Mt. Aleph and the Golden Sun," Folcon replied.
"But how, the path up is likly guarded?"
"The easiest way would be to get the mayor's permisson. I'll go ask him, or her, whoever the mayor is, and find out. I want you to stay here, and wait till I return. Get us a room for the night." Marth nodded and Folcon got up and left the inn.
As he made his way through the town, Folcon marveled at how much the villiage had changed. There were new people, new buildings, and everything looked different. Feeling a little lost, he walked up to a young woman and asked, "Excuse me, could you tell me where I could find the mayor of this village?"
The woman nodded and pointed toward a cluster of buildings farther up the hillside, "It's the blue one in that group of homes."
"Thank you miss," Folcon said, before walking away in the inicated direction.
In a few minutes, he arrived at the house the woman had pointed out. Sure enough, there on the side was a placard that read "Town Mayor" on it. There was also a name on it, but it was too worn to read. Folcon knocked on the door and waited for it to open. After a few seconds, a red-headed young man opened the door.
"May I help you?" the young man asked.
"I need to speak with the mayor, are you him?"
"No, but my grandfather is. Come in, I'll get him for you."
"Thank you," Folcon said, stepping through the door.
"Hey gramps, there's someone here to see you," the young man called.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," Said a voice as an old man came into the room. "Thank you Garet," the man said. "How may I help you sir," the man said, looking at Folcon.
"I came to get your permission, as mayor to climb Mt. Aleph," Folcon said.
"Many have asked for that lately, and I have told all no. Why should I let you?"
"I seek something of myself that I lost. I was hopeing that I could find my answers on Mt. Aleph."
"I see, Garet, leave us."
"But gramps."
"Now!"
"Okay," the young man named Garet said, walking from the house.
"So Folcon, you've returned. You haven't aged a day since I last saw you, fifty years ago."
"I am surprised you are still kicking, good sir. I have seen not but strangers since I arrived earlier today."
"Alas, there are not many people left from that time."
Folcon nodded, "So, do I have your permission to climb Mt. Aleph, as I was promissed many years ago?"
"I can not. The last time someone entered Mt. Aleph, the Stars were stolen and the world put in danger."
"But the world was already in danger."
"Regardless," the mayor said, "You cannot be alowed onto the mountain."
By this point, a crowd was gathering. "Do you refute your oaths?"
"No, but after the Stars were stolen, the elders agreed that no one other than the priests would be alowed on the mountain."
Folcon turned to leave, "I hope you reconsider, I will be waiting at the inn in case you do." Folcon walked away and pushed his way past a group of young men and women. "Excuse me," he said.
"Hey wait," one of them called.
Folcon stopped and turned around and saw a blue haired young man, "May I help you?"
The blue haired man looked him in the eye and the man's eyes widened as he said, "I know you, your that man who tried to challenge Lemuria. белый волоый демон ветра, The White Haired Demon!"
"Lemurian," Folcon spat. "Are your people still upset about that? It was over three centuries ago. How long can you hold a grudge?"
The Lemurian drew his sword as the crowd started to scatter, "We do not take our grudges lightly, Folcon of Avian. Why are you in Vale?"
"I have my reasons," Folcon said, drawing his sakabato. "If you want to settle the score, so be it. I care nothing about your homeland anymore."
"Don't care?" the Lemurian said, as six people joined him. "Because of your actions, ten of my people died."
"Tell me boy, were you born by then? Or after, and just heard the stories from your father?"
"It may have been before my time, but I will avenge them."
Folcon glanced around, "Just like a Lemurian, not fighting fair. You challenge me seven to one."
The Lemurian glanced to his sides, "He's right guys. This is my fight. Back off."
"Are you sure Piers," a blond haired young woman asked.
"Yes Sheba."
"Very well," the girl said, backing off with the others.
"I will destroy you Folcon, and end whatever terror you have brought."

Levi blushed and nodded
"Well that means you predicted the future...not the past. Unless this exact thing happened in your past, which would mean I was there too." Icelia shook her head, "Now I'm completely confused."
As they sat there, a few random people walked by, and her ears perked up as one of them mentioned Lemuria.
"It seems Iodem of Tolbi is on a quest to find Lemuria once again."
"Didn't he hire a bunch of young'ns to go there? I thought they made it and returned?"
"Aye, they did. But the mayor seems to have a different reason to want to go back! Now what could be there that's so valuable that the mayor would want to hire more sirs to conquer Poseidon's currents?"
"Your guess is as good as mine."
The two men walked out of earshot and Icelia rubbed her chin pensively. "Do you think we can go to Tolbi? It's just across this gulf here."
"I don't see why not. You said you used to work there?"
"I think I may find some answers, actually."

"Yeah, its pretty late now, getting some sleep would be a good idea." Icelia stated sleepily.
They headed back to the inn. Levi pulled out the Mars Star. "Icelia, we need to form a plan before we go and light the Elemental Lighthouses."
Icelia looked at Levi. "Did you have something in mind?" Levi nodded.
"There are a few things we need to think about, first thing, we do need to find one adapt of each element. We already have a Mercury adapt." He looked over at Icelia. "We just need the other three. Though I don't want to have to admit it, we may have to ask Folcon to help us, since he has the power of Jupitar flowing through him. the second thing we need to do is find the remaining Stars. We need to figure out what happened to them after the Golden Sun formed. It will be a hard search, we will have to get information from wherever we can. And the third thing..." Levi held up the Mar Star. "We need to find out where the rest of the energy from the Mar Star when to..."

Mistress?
“Euh?”
It is I, Fenrir.
“Ah hi! Hows it going buddy? Where are you? I’ve been looking all over for you!”
Uhm. You sent me to follow this suspicious man. And I’m fin--
“Oh yeah! How’s that going?”Reveria interrupted.
Well. Fenrir Cleared his throat, The man seems to be..lost... And We encountered another man. Oh, and may I require the purpose of me bringing this dead corpse with me?
"Oh, I thought you'd like some company, and cover up, no?" Reveria giggled.
Mistress Reveria, I'm not like you. Fenrir sighed, That being said, I also saw some kind of special artifact. Shall I keep an eye on it? Before I lose trace of the smell.
"I guess, leave the dead man be, I'll take controll of him. I'll contact you soon." Reveria replied. "OH, before you go, why do you keep calling me Reveria?"
It is the name that is signed on my contract ma'am.
"I...see. Very well then." Reveria said out loud as she pulled out her staff.
"Slaves of the underworld, hear my guidance, lend me your strength one more time and become my eyes! Azmira's marionette!" She chanted.
Reveria peered into the dead man's vision, what appeared before her was the same dead man who stoof before a dim-lighted room. Another silhouette could be seen...

Kalis's POV
Kalis could only watch from the sidelines as Piers charged at the white haired man, sword raised. The white haired man, whom Piers had called Folcon, casualy raised his sword and blocked the blow, before spining around and striking Piers hard across the the face. Piers screamed in pain and lunged at the man, aimming for a straight horizontal thrust. The man simply sidestepped the attack, and struck Piers in the back of the leg, causeing the young man to fall to his knees.
Folcon's POV
Folcon calmly lifted his blade as the Lemurian charged at him, blocking the man's strike with ease, before spinning around and striking a blow to his face. The Lemurian charged at him, and Folcon stepped aside as his opponent lunged past and Folcon struck him in the back of the leg, sending the Lemurian to his knees. Reckless, Folcon thought, stepping away from the Lemurian. "Are you ready to give up, boy. I don't want to kill you if I can evoide it."
Marth's POV
Marth was calmly sitting in the inn when someone ran in the door and loudly anounced, "There's a fight going on at the mayor's house. Some white haired guy is fighting that Piers guy. Marth stood up and dropped a coin on the table. So much for me staying out of trouble, he thought. Marth quickly followed the small crowd from the inn toward the place where the two combatents were facing off. He looked over and saw Folcon, calmly step away from a blue haired young man that was lying on the ground.
"Are you ready to give up, boy. I don't want to kill you if I can evoide it," Folcon said.
The blue haired man got up and glared at him, "I will not give up, not as long as I can fight."
Kalis's POV
"I won't give up, not as long as I can fight," Piers said. He stood up and closed his eyes, then a blue lightglowed from his hand and he shouted, "Glacier!" And a blast of ice and snow, shot fom his hand and headed right for the man.
Folcon' POV
The moment the Lemurian cast his spell, Folcon raised his hand and said, "Tempist." A twister formed in front of him, blocking the attack, then he charged forward before the it had fully disipatted, going straight through the stirred up dust.

Suddenly, she gasped.
As a brother falls, the whole clan of the mercury tribe weeps. The tears of their eyes fall upon the sea god, thunderously shaking the soul with every drop. The tears then turn to anger, and all Poseidon's seas shake with the fury and wrath of the mercury clan. Woe to he who angers Mercury's children.
She watched as Folcon attacked a blue haired man.
"Glacier!"
"Tempest!"
The two attacks collided, and all went blurry before she returned to the present, with Levi looking at her worriedly.
"Another vision?"
"It's Folcon. I was right. He's attacking one of my people, right now." she frowned, "No way will I take sides with a villain against the mercury clan." Clenching her fist and gritting her teeth, she walked over to the window and crossed her arms. "He hurt him...He hurt all of us. When one brother falls, the others weep. Then their anger turns to fury." She turned and looked at Levi, though not really speaking to him. "Folcon will pay."

HA! As if hell could hold me! Your people got in my way and they payed for it. No one can stop me. I am the Great Leviathan, and this world will fall before me!
Levi came to. He was lying on the floor with Icelia looking down at him. "Levi, are you ok?" Levi sat up. "Dear god, I'm a monster..."

She raised an eyebrow, "You're a monster? I thought that would be Folcon?"
Levi looked down to the floor. "No... I'm the monster.... I.... I...."
"How could you be the monster? A monster is someone who does something wrong and knows its wrong, and gets pleasure from it. You're not a monster, Levi."
Levi looked up at Icelia with tears in his eyes. "I killed a whole race of people! His people... The Avians... I remember a lot now..."
Icelia sat back, silent, thinking hard. "Do you remember why?"
Levi closed his eyes for a moment. "No, in fact..." Levi thought for a second. "I don't think I had a reason... I must have been out of my mind..."
"Or brainwashed, or not even you." she sat back against the wall. "It couldn't have been you. You're too much of a caring person. There's no way you could be evil then just wake up and be innocent and caring." she sighed, "There must be a reason. But trust my intuition; It couldn't have been you."
Levi opened his eyes back up. "But still, that means there's something inside me that can go off at any minute. I must be careful."
She narrowed her eyes, thinking back to the time at Vault. That's right...when he unleashed that power... My suggestion, don't use a lot of destructive psynergy at once. It seems to be a catalyst."
"Hmmm, Yeah, back at Vault, there was that time when the monsters attacked that I kinda lost it."
"Nearly."
Levi let out a sigh. "Well, if I ever get out of hand, can I trust you to do whatever it takes to stop me? It would be a disaster if I ever got out of hand..."
She shut her eyes tight, "I'm not sure I can. I was scared, I...I can heal well, but I'm not trained to fight. Plus...I can't hurt a friend." I'm too weak...
"Icelia" Levi said in a calming but firm voice. "You have to, I know you can do it. I have faith in you."
"Hah." she chuckled, "If only I had faith in me." she opened her eyes, "Thanks though." she sighed, "Oh, and about needing other adepts...You seem to be able to use Venus psynergy quite well. We may only need two other adepts then.
"Hmmm, yes. I have noticed that I'm well adept to using the power of the Earth. I could easily be considered the Venus adept. It would be no trouble to get into the Elemental Lighthouse of Venus."
"Not only that, but we may need your abilities in the other lighthouses." she paused, "All that'd be left is to find a mars and Jupiter adept. Sorry, but I just can't stand the thought of working with Folcon."
"You're right, I don't think I can face him after what I just remembered. The biggest difficulty is where do we find the other Elemental Stars?"
Icelia grinned widely, "I know a friend who can locate just about anything. She's a Jupiter adept, and last I spoke to her, she had been planning to travel to Tolbi around this very time. She should be able to help us."
Levi smiled. "Excellent. Maybe she can figure out where some of the energy from the Mar Star went to." He pulled it out and looked at it.
"True. We should head there in the morning then!" Icelia got off the floor and hopped onto her bed, rolling on her side, "Good night, Levi."
"Ok then!" Levi slowly got up off the floor and lied down on his bed. "Good night Icelia." Levi rolled over and whispered to himself. "Leviathan..."

Thane ran through the still night air. Lunpa was fading away into the darkness behind him, and soon all he saw around him was the dim forest. Not having slept for a few days, large shadows grew under his eyes, and his injuries weren't fully healed, which could be very dangerous to his health, but he didn't think of these problems.
He also barely noticed the chillines of the air as his mind was completely concentrated on what he had found out. The mysterious woman had told him that if he found an Elemental Star he would be extremelly powerful, almost unbeatable, as he was one of few people in Weyard who could find the hidden powers within the Orbs. If he found all four of them... It was something he tried not to think about. It overwhelmed his thoughts.
The woman had given him more information before he left. She said that two people who possibly carry two of the Elemental Stars are in Kalay. This was mostly what Thane was thinking about, hoping that he would arrive at Kalay before the two people left the city. He hadn't for one second thought about why the woman was telling him all of this.
Suddenly, out of the trees jumped two large bandits wielding axes and a mage with a strange whip. Thane hadn't expected an assault, so the first axe attack from one of the bandits was a near miss. The mage spoke to Thane.
"Give us all you carry with you traveler, and we shall spare your life."
Thane could see these people were new to the robbery business, so he wasn't ready to just give them what they wanted. Not saying a word, he lunged with his rod at the bandit who had attacked him, and landed a blow over his head. The other bandit charged at him from behind, but Thane ducked and escaped the slash of his weapon, and used Death Plunge at the foe. He plunged his staff into the bandit with all his strength and leaped high into the air, the crook still trying to pull the rod out of himself. Then they fell towards the path beneath them, and his enemy was dead. All that remained to take care of was the mage.
The magician slapped the ground with his whip and a Living Armor appeared out of nowhere. Its black armor glinted in the moonlight as it raised its shield and huge axe to attack. Thankfuly, this was an Earth element creature, so Thane managed to defeat it with one well placed Tempest.
Before the mage could summon any other creature, Thane cast Bind to block him from using Psynergy for the summoning. A mage without Psynergy is useless, so all Thane had to do was bash him a couple of times with his weapon.
But this took the last ounce of energy Thane had left. Leaning on his staff, he keeled over, but then remembered the potions the man from Lunpa had given him. Deciding this was the perfect time to risk drinking them, he pulled the bottle out of one of his satchels and gulped the liquid down.
He felt rejuvenated at once. Thane was amazed that a man he had only once met would give him something so valuable. He was amazed that a man whose name he didn't even know would want to help him. He decided he had to thank Sanji, but that could wait. He had to continue his journey.
Then something that was lying on the ground next to the mage's body caught his eye. It was the whip the man had been wielding. He picked it up and examined it carefully. Could it be what he thought it was? He decided to test it.
Thane lashed it in the air and, to his surprise, a Gryphon appeared next to him. So his hunch was true. This was a rare Trainer's Whip. An item that would surely come as useful, since it made his arsenal of Psynergy quite larger.
He climbed onto the Gryphon and told it to take flight. The creature ran forward to gain momentum and then jumped into the air, flapping its wings continuously until it was high enough that it could almost glide through the sky. Thane made his trip to Kalay in a way he hadn't first expected.

Kalis's POV
Just as Piers's atack was about to hit the man, Folcon called out, "Tempest," and a twister formed infront of him, deflecting the shot. A moment latter, Folcon burst through the settling dust and swung his sword around, hitting Piers in the chest. A piers collapsed to the ground and didn't move. The man stood over the motionless Piers and glowered.
Folcon's POV
Folcon burst through the other side of the dying twister and swung his sword around, striking the Lemurian in the chest. He went down and did not get up. Folcon walked over and glowered at the unconscious form before muttering softly enough that no one else heard, "Be glad I used my sakabato, otherwise you would be dead."
At that moment, Marth pushed his way through the crowd. "Folcon," he yelled, running up to him. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine Marth. See, not even a scratch on me."
Kalis's POV
Kalis watched as another guy ran up to Folcon. Then he turned back toward Piers. At that moment Issac ran up to Folcon, followed by Garet, Sheba, and Mia, and yelled, "You think you can kill one of our own and then talk as if nothing happened?" At this moment Felix and Jenna ran up. "We'll kill you for this."
Marth's POV
"We'll kill you for this," someone yelled.
Marth looked up at the person who spoke and saw a kid about 17 or so years old.
"Your friend is not dead," Folcon said, holding up his sword to show the reversed edge. "A sakabato can't kill."
"I don't care, now that Piers is down, we will all fight you."
Marth glanced around and counted heads, there were seven there, six if he didn't count the unarmed guy.
Folcon's POV
"Six on two is not that fair boy," Folcon said.
Kalis's POV
"Thats seven on two," Kalis said, stepping foward and summoning his sword in a flash of light.
Folcon's POV
Folcon glared at the boy that had brought forth a sword from a ball of light and said, "In all my years, I have never seen such a thing. You arn't from this world, are you. You don't have a Psynergy arua, like everyone else has."
"Enough talk," the yellow haired boy said. "Prepare to die."
Marth's POV
Marth drew his short sword with one hand, and raised the other, while manipulateing the two wires inside the glove. Abruptly, three claws shot out of his sleeve. Raising his weapons into fighting postion, Marth readied to fight.
Folcon's POV
The yellow haired boy charged at Folcon sword rasied. Folcon easily sidestepped the attack and stuck out his foot, tripping him. "Drop it boy. Your friend is alive, so leave me alone."
"Never," the boy shouted, getting up and attacking agian.
Stop this, a voice said. Stop this at once. The voice came from above.
Folcon, and everyone else, looked up and saw a large floating stone eye.
"The Wise One," the yellow haired boy said.
Kalis's POV
"Are you sure Issac," said Garet. "He doesn't look like the floating eyeball of rock we saw before."
Folcon's POV
"That's not the Wise One kid," Folcon said. "It's ... The Forgotten One."

It was a wartorn land, covered with the bodies of Lemaruians, Avians, Proxians, and normal looking Adepts. "Pathetic, this is the best the world can do? Is this the best the Greater Races has? I guess the will to keep this world was weaker than mine to destroy it." He held up his hand slowly. "And now, you will all pay the greatest price for your failure." Looking up to the sky, he launched upwards. Arriving at 2 miles from the surface he looked down. He then spoke, his voice echoing throught Weyward. "I am the Great Leviathan, and this world belongs to me now..." A bright light shined forth from his hands.
Levi sat up quickly and yelled out. "What the hell..." He looked over to Icelia to see if he woke her up. She was still sleeping. Levi sighed and got out of the bed. He walked over to the window and opened it up. He jumped out and landed on his feet. Looking around, he started to walk over to the pier. "I can't believe that my body is capable of such feets of strength and yet use it to destroy." I have to make things right.
Suddenly he noticed something. There was something out at sea. He could see something shining, like a star. "What the..." So thats where it is...
What is it?
You must obtain it, now. It will be a great asset to your journey.
Levi spoke out loud. "How do I do that? I need a boat and I don't think anyone is up at this hour..."
Fool, do you forget who you are? Remember the dream you just had, concentrate on it.
Levi closed his eyes, trying to remember the dream. As he started concentrating he started to levitate over the pier. He opened his eyes. "Wha! I'm... I'm flying? Ha ha, I'm flying!"
Now go, reclaim what was taken...

He walked into the the silent town, looking around in hopes of finding something suspicious, but he found nothing of the sort. Nobody was awake at this time of night. All he could hear were creatures of the night, like crickets. Although he began to feel the strain that the sleepless nights had given him, he searched the town, but to no avail.
Then he remembered there were buildings on the shore of the Karagol Sea, which wasn't too far from the main town of Kalay, so decided to make his way there.

The name of the blade is the Cataclys. A powerful sword that was made by the ancients. Its infused with pure Alchemy. Use it wisely...

As Sanji walked through the plains, he was enjoying the calm air around him. No demons, no one out to kill him, absolutely nothing to stress him out the slightest. He was close to Kalay now, as he could see the city looming over the horizon...
After a while, Sanji finally made it to the outskirts of Kalay, feeling tired, he headed towards the inn to rent a room for one day, after which the boat heading for Tolbi would next set sail. Sanji was starting to wonder how Levi was doing, not having seen him for a long time.

So Folcon, you have returned, said the Forgotten One.
"Yes, I have," Folcon replied.
Why?
"To retrieve what I left here fifty years ago."
"What's going on here?" the yellow haired kid named Issac said. "Who is this Forgotten One?"
"Like the Wise One, the Forgotten One is a guardian of Mt. Aleph," Folcon said.
If you wish to retreave what you left, than go get it.
"Thank you, Forgotten One," Folcon said, before turnning around and walking toward the mountain, with Marth close behing him.
"Hey wait," Issac hollered. "I'm coming too. To make sure you don't desicrate the site."
"Whatever," Folcon said, starting up the slope.
"Do you think we can trust him?" Marth asked softly.
Folcon glared at Marth from the corner of his eye, "He's an Adept."
"I know," Marth said.
"However, he is one of the people that lit the Lighthouses and restored the Golden Sun. So he might be worthy of trust." Folcon stoped and turned around to face Issac, "Listen up boy."
"My name is Issac."
"I don't care. What I will be taking from the Sanctum is mine. I left it here fifty years ago to leave in the safekeeping of your priests untill my return. It has great power, possibly even rivalying that of the Elemental Stars. If you atempt to prevent me from taking it, or threaten me in anyway, I will not hesitate to kill you. I have no love for Adepts like you, regardless of wether you saved this world or not. Do I make myself clear?"
"Cryestal clear," Issac said.
"Good, lets go,"Folcon said, continuing up the mountain.

He walked by the shore of the sea and entered the inn he was searching for. He decided he had to finally rent a room and sleep for a few hours. He payed the woman behind the counter, who was awake this early because there are certain to be travellers wanting a room even at this hour of the day, and proceeded up the staircase. As he was passing a door to another room he noticed something strange.
Pushing the hair out of his eyes, Thane bent over slightly and put his eye to the key hole. He couldn't make out any objects, but it was obvious that there was a faint blue glow inside. He knew what this had to mean. The Mercury Star was in there.
He stood up, quickly opening one of his satchels and pulled out his trusty dagger. He brought it close to the lock, but suddenly heard someone walking up the stairs. He dashed over to the door of the next room and quickly used his key to open it. When the lock had clicked, he opened the door and quickly closed it, trying to make as little sound as possible. Thane was lucky that his room was right beside the one which contained the Star.

"Eh?" Feeling a draft of air, she looked to her left to see the window had been left open.Funny...I could've sworn I closed that last night Shrugging, she got up and ready for the new day, before heading out to the docks.
When she arrived, she looked around for a ship that would be headed for Tolbi.
"Aye, we're leaving once the sun is in mid-day." he nodded, then looked at her peculiarly. "But I'll require special payment from you" he said with an awful tone.
"Uh, no." she pulled out some gold coins "You won't. I have gold, and that's how I'll pay you. And I have abilities that can protect your ship lest we run into monsters. Money and protection for a trip across the Karagol sea. That's my final offer."
"Fine, fine." The man reached for the gold, but Icelia thrust her hand away.
"I'll pay you when I board the ship." she said, narrowing her eyes.
"Fiesty woman, aren't ya?"
"I just know what I want." she frowned.
As she began to walk back toward the inn, she spotted a familiar face walking toward her.

Kalis just stood ther and watched the man named Folcon walk off toward the mountain, with Issac following him. "Come on Kalis," Sheba said softly. "Help us get Piers inside."
Kalis nodded and walked over to where Felix and Garet were standing. Felix indicated his feet and Kalis nodded his head, moving over to his feet and grabing them, while Felix grabed his shoulders. Together, they lifted Piers up and carried him back to Issac's house.
"What happened," Dora said, as they laid Piers on a bed.
"He got in a fight with some white haired guy," Felix said. "Evidently Piers knows him, said his name was Folcon, or something like that."
"Folcon," Dora said softly. "Could it be?"
"Do you know him?" Jenna asked.
"I meet a man with white hair when I was little. His name was Folcon too. He had saved our villiage from an attack. Afterwards, when offered a reward, he refused, but asked permission to leave something in the Sanctum. He was givin that permisson and left something there, then he left. He hasn't returned since."
"This guy said he wanted to retrieve something from the Sanctum," Garet said.
"What should be done," Kalis asked.
"Just let him take whatever it is he came to take. It is his."
"I don't like it," Sheba said. "Acording to what Piers said when they fought, this guy killed ten of his people, but it was three hundred years ago."
"How could that be?" Garet asked.
"Remember Babi, the leader of Tolbi, he lived so long by drinking that Lemurian drought," Mia said. "Perhapes that is how he has lived so long."
"Do you think that is what he left in the Sanctum?" Kalis asked.

“Levi?!” Levi reeled back.
“Er, hey there Icelia.” She stormed over to Levi.
“You know how worried I was about you? Where have you been?” Levi looked over to the sea.
“I was, ummm…” Icelia looked behind him to see the sword.
“What is that? A sword?” Levi was starting to get confused at all the yelling. He leaned in and whispered to Iceila. “Please, let me explain to you in private later. It’s not something for public ears.” Icelia looked around and noticed that people were looking over at the commotion she had started. She blushed a little. “Sorry. This man behind me said he can carry us over the ocean. All he asks is for money and protection for his ship.” Levi nodded.
“Alright, so Tolbi is our next destination…” Levi peered behind Icelia to see a familiar face. “Well hey there…”

Seeing as how she no longer have use of her human puppet, she made him dig himself a grave and said her prayers. On the other hand, Fenrir is still looking for a chance to snatch that Venus Star.
Reveria paced back and forth around Tolbi, deciding that she could do something "useful" before the others arrive, with that in mind, she headed for the lucky fountain.
Clutching onto the lucky medal that she had just recieved from a mysterious man, she decided she'd just take the advantage and make a wish.
A moment later, Reveria's turn arrived. She made her way up the steps and turned around to face the crowd, with the medal between her hands, she slowly closed her eyes.

He put his white clothes on as fast as he could, fastened his belt with the many satchels and grabbed his rod. As he was leaving, he peered through the key hole where the had seen the blue glow. Just as he had expected, the room was empty. He cursed his recklessness and continued down the stairs toward the inn's exit, praying that whoever had the Mercury Star hadn't left Kalay.
As Thane rushed through the door, he almost hit into a group of people, but didn't take any notice of them. The dock was quite crowded, and all he was looking for was a light blue radiance...
Unfortunately, he didn't find the aura, which led him to believe that the person had left this place in a hurry, or that the aura was visible only during the night. As he continued searching though, he overheard two sailors talking.
"The journey 'cross the dastardly Karagol Sea will be a tough one," one of them said.
"Aye, that is certain, but we 'ave many a powerful warrior on the ship. The trip won't be as difficul' as you might expect."
After hearing this, Thane decided to go back to the inn and ask the woman behind the counter how many of last night's guests had bought tickets for this boat. Pushing through the crowd, he made his way to the tavern.
Just as he was about to enter the building, he saw a familiar face very close by. It was Sanji, talking to two other people. How Thane hadn't noticed him when he pumped into them, he didn't know.
"Hey, it's you," Thane said as he approached him, "I wanted to thank you for saving my life twice over. Those Potions really came in handy. Anyway, I'm Thane," he finished, rasing his hand to all three of the people.

Sanji turned to Icelia. "In answer to your question, I'm planning to go to Tolbi, since I have some stuff to do there. Plus, I want to see Colosso, seeing how it's extremely popular and all. That reminds me, I need to buy my ticket. Excuse me."
Sanji walked over to the building nearest the docks and entered it. He walked over to the counter, where a young woman was standing behind a counter.
"Hello sir." she greeted, "Are you here to buy a ticket? If you are, it will be 800 coins."
"Oh, alright." Sanji replied. He searched through his bag for the money, then handed the 800 coins to the woman.
"Ok, thank you." the woman said as she handed Sanji a boarding ticket.
Sanji just nodded at her and walked out, back to where Thane, Levi, and Icelia were.

Sanji was cut short, as he felt a very sudden aura emanating from his bag. "Hold on a sec, Levi." He said. He put his bag down, bent down, and opened it. Apparently, the katana with the brilliant purple blade he found during his trip to Kalay was glowing a brighter purple.
"Wind energy...Jupiter energy, huh?" Sanji mumbled to himself. "What a blade..."

In half an hour, Folcon, Marth, and Issac arived at the crumbled remains of Mt. Aleph, and the entrence to Sol Sanctum. Issac looked at the sealed passage way and said, "We're here, so how do you plan to get into a sealed mountian?"
Folcon ignored him and stepped forward, climbing the jumbled pile of rocks a short distance and shifted a few aside. After a few minutes, he uncovered a metal pole, sticking out from the ground. He climbed down and stepped away from the rocks, closing his eyes as he focused his Psynergy. After a few seconds, his body began to glow a pale shade of purple. He then opened his eyes, revealing an intense purple glow from them, as he called out, "Anchient Bolt!" As he said the words, a bolt of lighting seared across the sky, and slamed into the mountian and striking the exposed pole.
"What was that supossed to do," Issac said when nothing happened. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and groan. "What did you do?" Issac asked, looking at Folcon and seeing him smirk.
"Makeing an entrence," Folcon said as he watched the rocks began to shift slightly. Then, an explotion rocked the ground as the rocks blasted away from a part of the mountian farther up the slope. In a few seconds, the dust had settled and revealed a passageway.
Folcon started up the side of the mountian with Marth right behind him. "Are you comming?" he shot over his shoulder at Issac.
"Yes, I'm comming," Issac siad, climbing up after them.
Soon they were inside the new tunnel. As they started down the passageway, Issac pointed out an ovious fact, "There's no torches or lamps down here, how are we going to find our way?"
Folcon again ignored the boy as he withdrew a stone from one of his pockets and wispered anichent words in the Avian tounge as he gently glew on the stone's surface. Instanly, the stone burst aglow with purple light. Folcon then afixed a cord to the stone and handed it to Marth before repeating the process a second time as Marth slipped the cord around his neck. Once Folcon had the second stone around his own neck, the passage way was lit with the light from the stones. "Are you happy now?" Folcon said.
"How did you ...," Issac started to say.
"With an ancient Psynergy," Folcon interupted. "Lost since the seal on Alchamey was put in place. For now, I am the only one who knows how to use it." He then stalked off down the hall before Issac could ask anymore questions.
After about twenty paces, Folcon stoped and pulled another small stone from his pocket, this one was a loadstone. Focusing on the enchanted device, the stone slowly pointed down the path they were going. Folcon nodded and threaded a cord through the hole in the stone, putting it around his neck as well. The stone stayed suspended in the air, gently pulling him in the direction doown the tunnel.
At this point, Marth and Issac had caught up to him. "That loadstone won't help you much in here," Issac said. "There's too much iron in this mountian."
"If I was trying to find North," Folcon sighed, iritated at Issac's annoyance. "That would be a problem, but I'm not. This loadstone is enchanted. It leads to what I desire. Which, at the moment, is what I am here to retreave."
((OOC - For those of you who don't know, a loadstone is an old school type of compass. It is acctualy a lump of magntized iron that will point North. (I think) And yes, I know this sounds like Jack Sparrow's magic compass. That is where I got the idea, so don't rip on me for it.))
After several minutes, the trio arrived at a split in the path. "So, which way do we go?" Marth asked, looking at Folcon.
Folcon felt the stone tug him toward the right path and went that way, saying, "This way."

"Wow, where did you get that!" Levi smirked.
"I found it this morning actually, the story is incredible, but I can't tell you yet."
"Why not?" Sanji looked up at Levi.
"Er, well, it should kinda be a secret..." Just then a sailor bumped into Levi.
"Hey!" He sayed with a slur in his voice. "Watch where your going boy!"
The smell of Alchol was heavy in his breath. Levi reeled back. "Dear god, isn't it too early to be drinking?" The Sailor stared at Levi.
"You have a problem with me?!" He took a swing at Levi. Levi ducked just in time to miss it.
"He-hey wait a minute!" The sailor kept coming at him. I can't just attack this man, it'll make me look suspicious...
