A young man with long black hair and well dressed walks over to the sailor

"excuse me sir", and taps the man on the shoulder.

The sailor turns around and says "butt out of this kid or you're next" in a slurd manner.

"Im sorry sir but i cant allow you to continue this".

The sailor laughs. "fine your first then" and takes a swing at the long haired gentle men.

The young man ducks under the swing and kness him in the stomach then hits him in the back of the neck. The drunkin sailor is knocked completely unconcious.

The young man kneels down next to the unconcious man and says "Im sorry but u left me no choice" with a sum what saddened look.

He then gets up and puts a gentle smirk on his face then turns to Levi and takes a respectful bow.

" Hello Levi my name is Kayden I am pleased to finally meet you."

"I'm searching for somebody," Thane answered Icelia's question, his eyes scanning everybody around them in hopes of noticing the blue aura, "Excuse me," he said plainly and made his way toward the inn just as Sanji was leaving it.

He approached the woman behind the counter and asked quietly how many of last night's guests were boarding this ship.

"I'm sorry sir, but I'm not supposed to give out such information," she said with a suspicious look in her eyes.

"I was hoping you would make an exception this time," Thane said, putting 400 coins into her hand.

The woman looked left and right before saying, "We had about fifteen guests last night, and eleven of them bought tickets," in a hushed tone.

"Very well," Thane said, "I will also buy a ticket," he said, pulling out 800 coins.

Sanji stared at the unconcous sailor on the ground. Geez. he though, We're at a bar in an inn and there are people this reactive already? It's morning...

Sanji bent down and poked the sailor several times. Not a twitch, so he was definitely unconcious. Still on his feet with his knes bent, Sanji looked up at the guy, Kayden, who beat the sailor into submission. He was pretty well-dressed, especially compared to several of the people in the bar.

"Hey, uh...Kayden." Sanji said. "Thanks for keeping that guy away from my friend. My name's Sanji."

[Blue]

Levi was caught unawares by the suprise beating the Sailor had just recieved. What surprised him even more was that such a mild looking man had done all of it. "Er, ummm, hello there. Thanks for taking care of him for me." Kayden nodded.
"It was no trouble at all, but if you excuse me, I must be leaving now." Kayden turned around and dissappered into the crowd.
"Er wait!" Levi tried to catch up with him, but he was already gone. "Woa, thats weird..." He turned back an sat back down at the table. "Er, do any of you know that guy?" Sanji and Icelia looked at each other then back at Levi.
Icelia shook her head "I've never seen him before." Sanji was a bit upset about Kayden ignoring his gesture.
"Nope, I'm not familiar with his face." Levi got a little worried.
"Then how did he know my name?"

[Lightning Star]

Icelia frowned, "Things just keep getting weirder." she noticed Thane talking to the woman and handed her some money. She handed him a ticket, and he handed her even more money. huh she thought to herself. Thane returned and she spoke up.

"So I guess we'll all be going to Tolbi then?"

"I guess so."

Levi was still pondering deep in thought, "How..."

"Maybe he was in Vault when you restored everything. Your name was pretty widespread then, y'know?" Icelia reassured. "I wouldn't let him bother you. He doesn't strike me as dangerous."

"He doesn't seem like a bad guy." Sanji said, "After all, he did subdue that sailor. Anywho, I'm going to the docks and survey them for a bit."

Sanji walked out of the inn and to the docks. The docks were getting pretty busy, and there were a lot of people starting to buy tickets. Sanji spotted two men walking out of the ticket building. One of them had spikey purple hair, the other had red hair, and had a bigger build than the former.

"Say, Ouranos..." the purple haired guy spoke, "Do you think we'll be able to win Colosso this year?"

"I think we have a pretty good chance at it this year." replied the man named Ouranos. "Sean, do you think we'll encounter any monsters at sea this time?"

"I hope not. At least, I hope a Kraken doesn't raid the ship. Remember that? We got destroyed, but Isaac and his friends managed to defeat it. This time, though, they're not with us..."

Cheer up, Sean!" Ouranos said heartily, "We're stronger now. Plus, I hear we have several people joining our trip who can fight."

[Blue]

Levi turned around to sit back down, but stopped. He got this sudden feeling to leave the inn. "I'll, I'll be right back guys." He started walking away from everyone and out the inn. He turned and walked away towards the rocky cliffs. He stepped inbetween groups of people that were loading the boats. He started to cross across the sand to take the shortest possible route. He arrived at the face of the cliff and began climbing up it. He went up steadily and carefully. It was a tall cliff and very trecherous, but Levi felt that he must climb it. What is this force that is driving me? He placed hand over hand, keeping a steady pace. Suddenly his hand slid out from one of the holdings and he started to hang from his other hand. "Spire!" A piece of rock came out from under his feet and he stepped onto it. He regained his composure and started climbing up again. He finally reached his hands onto the edge of the cliff and hoisted himself up. Standing up and brushing himself off, he saw a man standing a few feet away from him. "Why did you summon me here, Kayden..."

[Lightning Star]

Icelia frowned, "I-I'm going to go see what he's up to." she rolled her eyes at Thane, "He has a tendency to get himself in trouble."

Levi cut his way through the crowd like butter, but it was not so for Icelia, who had a hard time keeping up with him. Gah, slow down! she bit her lip as she made her way through the crowd. She watched as he walked across the sand to a near by cliff. There he began to climb it. Are you an idiot?!

Sighing, she knew she wouldn't be able to climb the cliff he had chosen to climb and thus retreated off to the side. Her heart nearly stopped as he lost one of his holdings, but she was happily relieved when he formed a spire to step onto. When he made his way to the top, he disappeared from her sight.

Great...I suppose I'm up for some mountain climbing She took her hair out of their normal buns and pulled her bangs back into a single ponytail. Quickly she began to climb the trecherous cliff, finding her pace much slower than Levi's had been. She used the spire he had created to stand and catch her breath before continuing up the cliff.

Whatever you do, Icy, don't look down! Her mind told her, but of course, she defied reason, looking down and holding onto the cliff for dear life. One of the rocks beneath her grip ripped from the earth and thus she was left hanging with one arm.

"Aaah! Levi!" she screamed, hoping she was close enough to the top for him to hear her.

Thane ignored Icelia's friendly gesture, as he was still looking at the people around them, although he knew the only place where he would have the chance to find the person with the Mercury Star would be on the boat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, he decided to have a look around.

Pushing through the crowd, Thane peered at every slightly suspicious person he saw. Suddenly, an idea sprung to his mind, an idea he couldn't believe he didn't think of earlier. Waving his hand swiftly, he cast Reveal, and everything around him turned dark.

The more valuable contents of every person's baggage in Reveal's circle was free for Thane to view. He could see people carrying surprisingly large sacks of gold, other people carried treasures they must have stolen on their adventures, and some had weapons concealed in their bags. But no sign of the Elemental Star. Thane prayed that the individual with it was boarding the ship. As Reveal disappeared, Thane walked past a few buildings and entered an open area which was much less crowded, as it was quite far from the docks. From there, he could see someone climbing a steep cliff.

Then he recognized the woman; It was Icelia. Thane watched her for a few moments, wondering what she was up to, but suddenly the girl slipped and just barely grabbed one of the protruding rocks with one hand. He thought for an instant what he should do, then ran over to where she was.

As he was running he pulled out his Trainer's Whip. He stopped at the bottom of the cliff and, using the whip, summoned another Gryphon. Thane pointed upward at Icelia and the bird took off, raising clouds of sand as it flapped its wings. It flew over to teh dangling girl and allowed her to climb onto it.

Sanji walked away from the docks after overhearing Sean and Ouranos' conersation, and back into the main part of Kalay. There were tons of people here and many shops to choose from, including weapon shops and armor shops. Sanji decided to go to the armor shop to see if it had anything he wanted. He found some mythril boots on sale and, to Sanji's surprise, could afford it. Sanji bought the boots and replaced his worn out leather shoes with them. He walked out of the store, happy with his new purchase.

Sanji explored town a bit more, buying some healing items and looking around the other parts of town. After a while, he went back to the inn and sat down at a table. A waitress came to him after she saw him sit down.

"Hi, what would you like today?" she said.

"Just a glass of water, please." Sanji replied. When the waitress bustled off, Sanji leaned back a bit and drifted off in his thoughts.

[Folcon]

Folcon and Marth's story

Folcon lead the way through the slowly decending tunnels, following the pull of the loadstone. "This is amazing," Issac said, examining the walls. "These walls are undamaged from Mt. Aleph's eruption and collapse after the Golden Sun was lit."

"These particular tunnels were built by ancient Venus Adepts, eions agos," Folcon said.

"How do you know?" Issac asked.

"My grandfather told me, he witnessed the contruction when he was a lad."

"Wait," Issac said, clearly confused. "Just how old are you? You don't look a day over twenty-five."

"Thank you, but my age is none of your concern."

"But you made the comment when you faced Piers about taking part in a fight agianst his people three hundred years ago. How is that possiable? Only Lemurians can live that long or longer."

"No boy, the Lemurians were not the only long lived race. Every element had a race aligned to it that was long lived. The Lemurians were Mercury, the Avians were Jupiter, Proxians were Mars, and Elves were Venius. And then there was the rest of the peoples that had short lives. The Avians were all but wipped out in a fight, long ago before the seal on Alchemy was placed. Once the seal was placed, the Lemurians retreated to the island and secluded themselves from the world. The elves vanished from the face of the world, they could not survive without the high flow of Psynergy. And the Proxians lost their longevity, becomeing mortals like everyone else."

"How do you know all this?" Issac asked. "None of it is mentioned in any histories."

"I know," Folcon said softly. "Because I am the last of the Avian race. I witnessed the desrtuction of my people when I was your age now, still a child by my people's standards. When the carnage was over, I was alone. After several months of trainingand searching, I was able to hunt down all the people responsable for my people's death. All but one. A man who was more a monster, than a man. I lost track of him for awhile, but I teamed up with allies, from all the races and peoples of Weyard, and together, we supressed him. But, we didn't kill him. Instead, he was sealed, deep in the deapths of this very mountian, for eternity. A few days latter, the seal on Alchemy was placed."

"How come none of this is mentioned in the history texts though?"

"Because it is a part of the past that is better left forgotten. Even King Hydros saw the wisdom in it."

"What was this man's name?" Issac asked.

"I don't recall," Folcon said, turning a corner. "It was over a thousand years ago."

"You know all this other stuff, but you can't recall a man's name?"

Folcon turned sharply and glared at Issac. "Listen here boy, I have seen over a thousand years. In that time, I have met millions of people, heard millions of names. Should you than be surprised that I can't remember one specfic name from long ago."

"Well, when you put it that way..." Issac said, down trodden.

"Bah," Folcon said angerly. "I can't beleave you were one of the lighters of the Lighthouses. I can't beleave you, are one of the 'heros' of the world."

"Now wait just one moment," Issac shouted, putting his hand to the handle of his sword. "That was uncalled for."

"Do you plan to draw agianst me boy?" Folcon shouted back.

"I told you, my name is Issac."

"I don't care what your name is. I asked you a question. Do you plan to draw agianst me? Think long and hard before you do. I will not show you mercy like I did to the Lemurian"

Issac paused for a moment, then sighed deeply as he let his hand fall from his sword.

"Good," Folcon said. "Now hurry up, we're almost there."

[Somia]

To Reveria's suprise, the lucky medal landed right in the center ring. The crowd shot jealous visions at the brown-clad young lady.

"O-oh." Reveria stared at the shining object that lie on the dead center of the fountain, she turned to look at the fountain's owner. "I-I could've sworn I threw that too hard..." She giggled with embarrasement.

It took a few moments for the fountain's owner to register what just happened in his head. He suddendly snapped out of his awkward silence and smiled disgustedly at Reveria. “Ah yes… Congratulations to our grand prize winner of the day, Miss… would you honour me with your name?”

“Iryn Nelson.”

“Miss Iryn Nelson!” The host announced as his workers presented a variety of prizes for Reveria to choose from. There were rare dresses, fancy cloaks, and expensive-looking jewelries, at which the younger ladies of the crowd all stared at with envy. None of them pleased Reveria, though.

“Got anything else?” Reveria eyed the host.
“Uh.” The stingy looking host looked at his workers now troubled. One of them whispered something into his ear.
“Ah yes, we do have one more thing to offer.” The man rubbed his hands as one of his workers presented his a box, in which several interesting looking stones lie. The host looked at Reveria with hopeful eyes.

“Th-those! They can’t be! They’re psyenergy-casting stones!” A voice shouted from the crowd subconsciously.

“Psyenergy?” Reveria mumbled to herself. She suddenly remembered hearing that term somewhere. “I’ll take those.” She decided. “Next stop, registration booth for Colosso!”

“Heheh. Thank you for your business!” The fountain owner said as he whiped the sweat off his forehead. “Daym, that’s one annoying missy.” He complained to his workers.


Not far from where Reveria stood, a cloaked women sighed softly. “I almost miscalculated. Who would’ve thought such a young lass would possess such brute strength?” She mumbled as she put away her lift cube.

((Same lady as the one Thane saw, she used psyenergy to help Reveria score her loot.))

[Sea of Time]

Time went by slowly for Katar. He was procrastinating, and he knew it. Ever since the strange man had shown up, warning Kalay of Vault's destruction, Katar had known he was in for a strange adventure.

He had had so much resolve. He had been so ready.

And yet, here he was, retreated into his quarters, waiting for what seemed like hours to muster the will to travel to Vault. He had sent a messenger ahead of him, and had decided to wait for the messenger's return. Still, it had been a long time since he left this town. And now all these events seemed to be raining down on him at the same time.

He needed to get away. Even for just a little while. A walk.

[Folcon]

Folcon and Marth's story

After another twenty minutes or so, Folcon, Marth, and Issac arrived at the end off the passageway that they were in. But all they saw was a blank wall.

"Way to go," Issac said. "Your stone lead us to a dead end."

"How do your friends put up with you," Folcon said, taking a key from one of his pockets. Stepping up to the wall, he began to run his hand over the wall, clearing away the years of dust and grime. After a few moments, he found a hole in the wall. Kneeling down to bring it to eye level, he blew into the hole, clearing away the debris inside it. He then inserted the key and turned it gently. With a loud click, the door groaned and opened a crack. Smirking, Folcon pushed the door open and entered the room. Inside, there was a small alter. And on it, a small cloth bag. Folcon walked up to it with Marth and Issac close behind.

"This is it?" Issac asked as Folcon picked up the bag. "All this trouble, for a bag?"

"Yes," Folcon said simply, opening the bag and pouring the contents out onto the alter. What came out where two stones. One looked like a large, uncut ruby, and the other looked like a smooth, green, peace of crystal.

"What are those?" Issac asked as Folcon picked up the green stone.

"For starters, this is a memory stone. I used it to record many of my memories over the centuries. And the other, well, let's just say it's something that a scholer I know, a guy named Kraden, would likely give anything for it."

"What is it?" Marth asked.

"An artifact from my homeland. A Sage's Stone."

"What?" Issac shouted.

"You heard me. Now be quiet," Folcon said focusing on the green stone. "I need to concentrate." After a few seconds, a beam of green light shot out from the stone, hitting Folcon in the forehead. Screaming, Folcon fell to his knees, as visons flashed through his mind. Visions of the past that he had placed in the stone.

Finnaly, after what seemed like an eternity, the green light went out, leaving Folcon panting and wheezing. A few more seconds, and Folcon's breathing evened out.

"Are, are you okay?" Marth asked, approaching Folcon.

"I remember now Marth. I remember everything now. The one who I fought, the one who I helped seal here in Mt. Aleph, the one who helped destroy my people, it was a being called Leviathan." Folcon looked at Marth seriously, "Marth, it was Levi."

[Blue]

It took Levi 5 minutes to finally leave the cliffs. Instead of climbing he flew off. He then noticed that Icy and Thane were on the back of a Griffon, waiting for him. Uh oh, Icelia looks upset. He flew next to the Griffon and levitated. "Hey, is everything alright?"
Icelia let out a sigh. "Yes, thanks to Thane. What was going on up there?" Levi floated there for a moment "I... I can't remember... I just got an odd sensation that I got to come up here. The rest seems like a blur. I hope I'm not losing my memories now..."
"Sorry to interupt, but we better get back to the dock before the boats leave without us"
Thane said pointing over to the boats.
"Oh man, I forgot, lets hurry!" Both Levi and the Griffon shot towards the docks.

*ooc* Sorry I haven't posted in forever, my friend was suppose to make a post about the conversation. <.<

After Sanji finished his drink, he walked at a fast pace out of the inn and back to the docks. A massive amount of people were there, but most of them were buying last minute tickets, so Sanji didn't have trouble getting in a good place in line. After the sailor in front of the ramp verified Sanji's ticket, Sanji walked up the ramp and boarded the ship.

Sanji took his time viewing each room on the ship. The captain's quarters were blocked off temporarily, however, so he couldn't view that room. Sanji decided to sit on one of the chairs outside and wait for the ship to eventually set sail.

[Kayden]

Kayden walks up next to Sanji without him even noticing. He has a kind smirk on his face, and wanted no more then a simple conversation.

"Hello Sanji". He says in a very kind and propper tone
"I came to u to apolagise for ignoring u earlier, but i had something to take care wich was rather ergent." He takes a apolagetic bow.

[Folcon]

Folcon and Marth's story

"Are you sure," Marth asked. But seeing the intense look in Folcon's eyes told him he was. "So what are we going to do?"

"I don't know. When we last saw him, he had no memory of who I was. And likely no memory of what he was. He is so different from the monster I sealed away here. It's almost as if the centuries of stasis caused his mind to devide in two. Into good and evil, and the evil side is dorment for now."

"Is that possable?" Marth asked.

"It is probable. But if that evil side awakens, it could destroy the inocent side that exists right now, and the monster would truly be free."

"If this Leviathan guy your talking about was sealed here, how did he get free?" Issac cut in.

Folcon bowed his head in thought for a moment before he snapped it back up. "The Golden Sun!" Folcon said. "It has to be. Whatever went wrong with it forming must have caused his release."

"What do you mean, something went wrong with the forming of the Golden Sun?" Issac asked. "I was there, I saw all the lighthouses lit."

"And when the Lighthouses are lit, the Elemental Stars are ment to be consumed, right?" Folcon asked.

Issac nodded, "Yea."

"Then tell me," Folcon said, pulling out the Jupiter Star. "Why did I find this?"

[Blue]

Levi went ahead of Thane and Icelia to see if the coast was clear. He landed behind a building and peered around it, there was no one there, so he waved to Thane to land the Griffon down. The griffon descended and landed softly. Thane and Icy jumped off and then Thane lashed out his whip and the Griffon disappeared. "Hmmm, so thats a Tamer's Whip." Levi had a small memory of it. "It's a great tool, just be careful, it takes energy to wield such a weapon. Summon too much at one time, well, it won't be so good." Levi turned and headed towards the dock, with Thane and Icy following behind him. The dock was soon and sight and there was already a line to get on the boat. "Lets hurry up everyone!" He started running towards the line. He jumped over some crates and rolled into the back of the line. "Woo! made it in time."

[Lightning Star]

"You just love to get yourself in danger. You still haven't told me about that sword!" Icelia crossed her arms. "Seeing as I just put my life at stake to make sure you were okay, you could at least tell us WHY you were up there."

Levi looked at her sheepishly, "I'll tell you once we get on the boat. At least not much can go wrong there, so we shouldn't have too many interruptions."

Icelia sighed, "Oh you just jinxed it now. Let's just pray you're right."

They boarded the ship and took to their rooms. Up on deck, Icelia rested her arms on the edge of the boat while looking out over the horizon. The sun was in mid-day by now and the waters looked crystal clear as they sailed over the Kargol sea.

So we're headed back to Tolbi...I wonder if she intended for me to get any visions during this time? I mean, she gave me prediction, saying I would need it, but...I haven't had any visions. Well, only the Lemurian one and the one with Folcon. But those aren't really Predictions per say. she sighed, pushing a strand of hair back behind her ear.

Suddenly she heard screams and shrieks. Icelia turned around to see a few man o' war on deck attacking the crew.

"Douse!" she called, bringing forth hailing water upon the creatures. They reeled back, but only seemed to become more angry by her feeble attempt to slay them.

[Folcon]

((OOC - Ack, writter's block, I can't figure out how I want to write what happens next. Not to mention it's 10 in the evening here and i'm feeling brian dead with work early tomorrow. Can someone PM me a few ideas to try and get my characters going?))

[Blue]

Levi just laid in his bed when he got in his room. She's right, she risked her life to see if I was ok. I need to tell her atleast why I went up there. The conversation I had with Kayden though, was odd. I should definatly tell her about this sword. Just at that moment Levi heard screams on deck. He quickly lept out of bed, swung his door open violently and dashed onto the deck. He then saw Man o' Wars attacking civilians and Icy was doing her best to ward them off. "Icelia! That won't work, there aligned to Mercury!" He then realized that since he was on a boat he couldn't use his Venus abilities. "Shoot, I'll have to just cut them down!" He dashed fast and sliced a monster in half. "Excellent..."

He started hacking away at the ones who were about to attack Icelia. "Please, tend to the ones who are injured, I can handle this now." Icy nodded and ran off to heal the injured crew and vacationers. Soon Levi was dashing everywhere to attack the creatures that were coming on board. Shortly they stopped their attack and retreated into the sea.
"Dang it, thats not the last we'll see of them. They went off to gather more creatures." Levi gave a sigh and yelled over to Icy. "I'll stay up on deck and deal with anymore creatures, you get the passengers below deck so they are out of danger!"

"It's alright." Sanji said, nodding. "If it was urgent, then it was only right that you should have gone. 'Scuse me, I wanna see what those things are."

Sanji got up and approached a Man o' War that Levi sliced up. Sanji poked it for a little bit. Of course, it wasn't dangerous to fighters like him and Levi, but if monsters like this were going to attack throughout the whole voyage...

What a trip this is going to be. Sanji though, "I guess all we can do is protect the passengers and the crew from now on...

[Kayden]

Kayden propped himself against one of the gaurd rails and lit a cig. He started observing everything.

Wow this gonna be a fun voyage. Between watching Levi and fighting off creatures.

"hm hm hm. yep this is gonna be fun."

Kayden then starts walking towards his room. Then plops himself on the bed leaving the door unlocked he then leans over his bed and reaches under it pulling out a long object wrapped in cloth. He unwraps the top of it. Its a katana not a normal katana it has 2 blades on it. One of the blades is purple and the other is black. He slightly unsheathes it the blades have a dim glow about them.

"What is it that you are so eager to do? Why are you glowing? Unless.....is there someone else here that has a sword other then Levi, but who?

He wraps the blade back up wrights a symbol on it then gently puts it under his pillow. He then lays his head on the pillow. He looks as if he had fallen asleep but he is just in thought.

[Folcon]

Folcon and Marth's story

"I ... I don't know," Issac said, cunfused.

"Whatever," Folcon replied. "Let's just get out of here."

An hour latter they came to the entrence to the tunnel. Before exiting, Folcon grabed the back os Issac's head and focused his thoughts. In moments, he erased most of the events in the alter room from Issac's mind. He then let the boys go and walked out.

"What was that about?" Issac said, confused.

"What was what about?" Marth fiegned confusion as he followed Folcon down the mountian.

"Nothing, never mind," Issac said, as he followed the pair down the mountain.

In about twenty minutes, Issac took the lead and lead them to his house. "Hey mom, I'm back."

"Issac," a woman said, entering the room followed by the other adepts from earlier. Folcon frowned upon seeing them, but then the woman turned her attention to him. "Folcon," she said softly. You haven't changed a bit."

"Have we met before?" Folcon asked, as a slightly gruff looking man entered the room.

"It's me, Dora. We meet fifty years ago when you saved the village."

The name clicked in his head, but Folcon fiegned ignorance. "You must have me confused with someone else."

"So did you find whar ever it was he was looking for Issac?" the young man named Garet asked.

"I guess so," Issac replied. "But I still don't see what was so speceal about a couple of rocks."

"That was it?" the red headed girl asked.

"Yea, that was it," Issac responded.

Igoreing them, Folcon asked Dora, "Where is the young man I uh, fought with today? I want to appologise to him."

"This way," Dora said. She lead him up the stairs and to a door. "He's resting inside."

"Thank you," Folcon said, entering the room with Marth. Inside lay the Lemurian, apparently asleep. Folcon walked over and poked his shoulder. "I know your awake Lemurian. Get up, I want to talk with you."

The young man named Piers opened his eyes and glared at Folcon before sitting up. "What do you want?" he growled.

Man, Folcon briefly thought, If looks could kill. "I want to clear the air between me and your people," Folcon said, pulling out the Sage's Stone.

Piers's eyes widened, "That's the stone you stole from Lemurian, isin't it?"

Folcon nodded, "But I'm not giving it back. If I do, someone else will try to take it. And If I keep it, I may be tempted to use it's power wrongly. That's why I left it here fifty years ago."

"Why did you come and take it in the first place, Avian?"

"A man hired me to find one and bring it to him. Lemuria was the only place at the time that I knew of that had one. So I came and took it. Warriors tried to stop me. Thier deaths were unforchante, and have bother me ever since. It's why I wield a sakabato, to avoid killing in fights where I can aford to avoid killing. The b**** of it is, when I got back to my employer, he had died. So there was no one to pay me."

"So what are you going to do with it?" Piers asked.

"This," Folcon said, chanaleing power into the red stone. It began to glow brightly, then, with a loud crack, it broke in half and the two halves crumbled to dust. "Tell your people the fued between us is over. Any further attacks against me will be considered unprevoked, and I will not hesitate to kill if I must." Folcon turned to the door, "Come on Marth, we're leaving."

"Wait Avian, Folcon."

"What is it, Piers, I believe the girl called you."

"I just wanted to say, that the fued between us is over. And please, fix whatever is wrong with the Golden Sun."

Folcon arched an eyebrow, "You know?"

"I can feel the Jupiter Star in you posetion. Fix whatever went wrong, and I would be willing to call you friend."

"If you know my history, you know I won't count that as much, Lemurian, but thank you." Folcon said as he opened the door and left with Marth close behind.

He came downstairs to a crowd of people. "Leaving," Folcon said as he pushed his way to the door. He pause when a hand feel on his shoulder.

"Please stay," one of the Adepts that had faced off with him earlier said.

"I can't," Folcon replied. "I have imporant busness in the south. I must leave today."

"I'm coming with you," the blue-haired boy who had summoned a sword from thin air said.

"Why," Folcon asked, his hand on the knob.

"Because I want to see more of this world."

"What is your name boy?"

"Kalis."

"Well then Kalis," Folcon said. "Say your good byes, because we'll show you things about his world you've never even dreamed of. Meet us in the inn in an hour. We'll leave with or without you then." Folcon then walked out the door and made his way across the rebuilding village and to the inn.

Along the way Marth asked, "Why are you bringing him along?"

"He has no Psynergy, but he is strong. Besides," Folcon said whith a smirk, "It's getting borring just traveling with you."

"Humph!" Marth said as they entered the inn. Half an hour latter, the blue-haired boy named Kalis entered the inn and walked over to the table where Folcon and Marth were sitting.

"I'm ready to go," he said.

((OOC - I know this was kinda rushed, but I just wanted to move things along. From now on, all my posts, or most of them, will include all three of my characters but be mostly from Folcon's POV.))

Reveria peaked at the qualifications trail line, noticing that the participants were ALL male.
Just then, a mischievous smirk crossed her face as she whispered something into one of her maid's ear. Who in return gave her master a uncertain look.

What is he doing here? she thought before approaching, "Hi...um, we met in the Inn earlier. I'm Icelia." she held her hand out in a greeting fashion. The smell of his cigar filled her lungs as she tried to ignore the smell. I've never been fond of cigars...

Levi and Sanji started cleaning the deck of the man o' wars, so the seagulls would stop swooping down at the bodies. "Ugh, bloody annoying birds." Levi said, swiping at the birds to leave him alone. He sighed and pushed one of corpses over with his sword. He waited a moment to listen for the splash, but it never came. "Wha? Thats odd..." Suddenly a green scaley hand came up onto the railing. Levi stood back. "Uh oh..." Soon he saw the head of a Lizardman with a man o' war on top of it. The lizard man snarled and lifted himself on deck. "Lizardmen!!!" Levi dashed towards the one that appeared and started sword figting with it. After a few moments Levi paried a stab and sliced its head off.
"Crap, this went from bad to worse!"

[Kayden]

Kayden opened his eyes quickly as if he had just had a nightmare. He then takes off his dress shirt. Then throws on a tight black shirt then throws on a leather jacket that comes rite to the top of his pants. He doesnt even bother zipping it. He then grabs his sword pulls it out of its covering throws the strap for the sheath around his waist. Sheaths the sword behind him about at waist level. Darts out the door shutting it behind him. He then jumps on the railing to avoid people while putting his gloves on and putting his hair back except his bangs.

Its about time something interesting happens. he thinks to himself with a smirk

He then jumps off the railing "Gust." He launches himself in the air.

"DUCK LEVI" He yells as he is falling

As Levi ducks with a kind of confused look on his face as to where the hell Kayden just came from.

Kayden turns his body sideways and does a slight spin droping his foot on a lizardman's head. Then stands in a crouched postion with the tips of his fingers from his left hand on touching the ground infront of him, and his right arm extended aligned with his upper body with his hand wide open.

"That one would of hurt" He said with a smirk on his face

"I'm ready to go," Kalis said.

Folcon nodded and stood up with Marth. He dropped a handful of coins on the table and the three men walked out of the inn and out the gate of the town.

"So where are we going to go Folcon?" Marth asked.

"I want to find Levi," Folcon said. "Last I heard, before we left Vault was that he was going South. And the only thing South of Vault is Kalay."

"So we go to Kalay?" Marth asked.

Folcon gave an acknowledging grunt and kept walking.

"Who is this Levi person your talking about?" Kalis asked.

"He's an old aquaintence," Folcon replied.

The three of them fell silent for a while until they left the valley and Vault came into sight. Marth nodded twoard the ruined town that was still rebuilding from the monster attack from the day before and asked, "Are we going to stop here, or keep going?"

"Let's keep going," Folcon said. "I've had enough of Vault for now."

Marth nodded and they continued on, circleing widly around the town and moving south. Finnaly, as the sun was setting, they crossed the last bridge before they would arrive in Kalay.

"Let's camp here for tonight," Folcon said, walking off the trail and towards the nearby trees.

Icelia watched on the side as Levi and Kayden took care of the monsters on deck. She frowned.

These monsters are creatures of the sea, they're aligned with mercury. Obviously, I know that, but...

Smiling, She got an idea. She ran over to a frightened and obviously amateur sailor, "Excuse me, but do you have a bucket and rope?"

Nodding, the young man got her the said items and handed them to her curiously, though he did not ask.

Running over to side of the boat, she lowered the bucket into the ocean. It took a little maneuvering, but she finally managed to get the bucket to fill up with water. Hoisting the now heavier bucket back onto the deck, she crept around to find another lizard man had come for backup. As he raised his claws to attack levi, Icelia took the bucket and doused the monster with the water.

Growling, he turned toward her.

"Glacier!" she called forth, causing ice to surround the monster. The water that had been poured on the monster immediately froze into ice, which doubled her attack. "Someone! Cut off his head! Now!"

[Folcon]

Folcon woke the next morning as the sun broke the horizon and dropped out of the tree he was sleeping in and landed on his feet. He walked over to Marth and was about to wake him up, when he realized the surounding forest was deathly silent, which was not a good sign. He closed his eyes and focused his mind, expanding his sences. He could sence, someone, but he couldn't figure out what or where they were. He cal,ly touched Marth's concusness with his mind and woke him. As the young man rolled onto his feet, he snapped his wrist and his battle claw slid into place. Folcon stepped to one side of the still sleeping Kalis, while Marth stepped to the other. Linking their minds once more, Folcon asked, Do you sence them?

Yes, Marth replied. But I don't see them anywhere.

Folcon knelt down next to Kalis and shook his shoulder. "Wake up," he hissed.

Kalis awoke with a snort and a confused look on his face as Folcon put a finger to his lips to silince him.

What's going on? Kalis mouthed.

Trouble, Folcon replied, as he pulled his katana from its sheath. Get ready.

Folcon stood up and turned to face the woods. Kalis was seconds behind him with his sword drawn. With a few steps, the three men had put thier backs together and were ready for trouble. Still, silince riegned for the next several minutes. Then, the wind picked up, and on it, came the vile stench of filth and decay. "****," Folcon hissed, recognizing the scent, "goblins. And they got us surounded."

As if in responce, the sourounding trees burst into yells, shreaks, and hoots, as the vile creatures started running toward the group. There were at least a hunred of them, and they had no choice but to fight.

With a mighty yell, Folcon stepped foward and spun his sword in a wide arc, taking the heads off two in one swing. Before the bodies had even hit the ground, Marth had engaged another set and slashed with his claw, biting deep and sending them scuring back. In his next step, he drew his sword and was on his next foe.

Meanwhile, Kalis was holding his own quite nicley, untill seven goblins attacked him at once. He hit the switch on his sword and felt it hum softly as electricity started to flow through it. He slashed one goblins and sent it flying back into a tree from the force of the shock. Then manipulating the controls, he fired a burst of lightning from the tip of the blade and it impacted five more, killing them instantly, before fizziling out. Before he could take another swing, he was slamed forward by the impact of a crossbow bolt in his arm, causeing him to gasp in pain and drop his sword. Seeing thier oppurtunity, the goblins charged him. "Let's see how you like this," Kalis said, pressing the controls in his guantlet as he stood up and fired the pellet at the Goblins. It landed in thier midst and in half a second, exploded in a massive blast, vaporizeing all the goblins near it and sending the rest, many in small pieces, flying into the air. With the area clear, he switched to a different pellet and launched it in front of himself. The ball of light collapsed and he caught the fletchet gun as it dropped toward the ground. Disengaging the safety, he lifted the weapon and fired it at he next group of goblins, eviserating them.

In minutes, the ambushers had been routed and the remaining goblins were running away towards the mountians.

"Damn," Folcon swore, wiping goblin gore off on one of the dead monster's shirts. "That was the largest group of those things I've encounterd in a long time."

"What were they doing so close to a city," Marth asked, as he wiped his sword off on a scrap of cloth. He turned toward Kalis and noticed the crossbow bolt in his shouldier, "Come here and let me treat that." Kalis walked over and pulled off his shirt while winceing in pain. Examining the wound, Marth frowned at what he saw. "This aint good," Marth said, "Its lodged too deep to pull out cleanly and its jammed right up next to the bone so it can't be pushed out. I hate to say it, but it looks like it needs to be cut out."

"Wonderful," Kalis commented, walking over to his bag and pulling out a flat box. He flipped it open and pulled out a serynge and a bottle of liquid. "Do you know how to use this?" He asked.

Marth looked at the device for a moment a said, "I think so, I draw the stuff in by pulling this, then tip it up and push it a little to get the air out. Then I inject it into the arm, right?" Kalis nodded. "So what am I injecteing?"

Kalis held up the bottle and said, "This. Its a fast acting pain releaver. Makes field surgery my bearable."

Marth nodded and took the bottle, "How much?"

"About twenty milliters should do it."

Marth nodded and preped the needle, then he walked over and in one swift movement, injected Kalis with the contents. In seconds, Kalis visabley relaxed and Marth got began to opperate.

While Marth was cutting open Kalis's shoulder and carfully taking out the bolt and prepairing to sew it closed, Folcon was searching what was left of the bodies around them, looking for anything of value, coins, jewls, weapons. By the time Marth made the last stich, Folcon had found a combined thirteen hundred coins, a few assorted gold rings, and a few decent blades and knives. Pocketing the money, and stowing the weapons, the three warriors continued toward Kalay at a fast pace, stopping only for breaf breaks to eat. By nightfall, the walls of Kalay were in sight.

[Sea of Time]

Night had fallen and Katar's head still had not cleared. In his mind, he just wasn't prepared to handle the duty of mayor and almost immediately after taking the helm of Kalay, things had gone wrong. Still, things had been quiet. It was unnerving to know that his messenger had not returned yet from Vault, but he knew that if anything was wrong, it would be at least another day before he heard any word.

Katar walked outside of the city and looked into the night, trying to see in the dark silence. His ears perked up as he heard someone....or something approaching from his left. Suddenly nervous, he slowly drew his sword and retreated to the cold wall behind him. Whoever was coming, he would be ready.

Even in the dark, he could see that he had company. Three men, all of them dressed in armour and appearing ready for battle. Katar didn't know if they were good or evil, but if they had come to harm his city, he would be more than ready to defend it. Even if that meant jeopardizing his life.

[Folcon]

When Folcon and his compainoins were almost to the wall, Marth quietly asked, "Think the gates are locked by now?"

"Perhaps," Folcon replied. "If they are, then we'll just campout here for the night and go in at dawn."

As they came to the wall and headed toward the gate, Folcon senced a presence and paused. "What is it?" Kalis asked.

"Something is here," Folcon replied, looking toward the shadows beneath the wall. Raising his hand in the direction of the wall, Folcon softly mumbled, "Revel." Revealed in the shadows, Folcon saw a man with his sword drawn.

[Sea of Time]

Katar was more than accustomed to thinking on his feet, and now he had an opportunity to figure out who these approaching figures were. They were coming from the north, and if the wounded man was any indication, these warriors had just come from Vault. Which meant they were either drawn to the destruction, or responsible for it.

Katar had to assume the latter, because he would put his city in jeopardy if he simply let them walk through. But he had to make sure. If they were evil, he would know after their answer.

"Who goes there?"

[Folcon]

"Who goes there," the man called.

Motioning to the others to stay back, Folcon placed his hand on his sword but did not draw. "I am Folcon, from a village across the Western Sea. These are my friends, Marth and Kalis. We merly wish to rest at the inn. We have traveled hard from afar and are exausted. Who are you to stand in our way?"

[Kayden]

(OOC: This is sort of the same post as Kayden's, I haven't been around for a long time, but I'll start RPing very soon. I hope the rest of you still want to RP.)

Levi turned around and dashed towards the Lizard Man. He held his sword high and swung at the frozen head. It was sliced in half, then shattered into pieces. The rest of the lizard men ran off back into the sea, after witnessing the brutal destruction of their kindred.
Levi rested against the mast and took a deep breath. "Yeash, its about time they noticed they were being beaten so badly." Icy went and started healing all of the warriors who were hurt in the engagement. "I'm hoping thats the last of the monsters, starting to get a bit exhausted." Levi headed off to his room to go lay down for awhile. He passed by Sanji who starting cleaning up the new corpses from the Lizard Men.

Levi entered into the cabin area and pushed open his door. There was a single bed, didn't look very comfortable, but he didn't care at the moment. He dropped his sword to the side and fell onto the bed, falling a sleep shortly.

[Lightning Star]

I did it...I finally did something useful Icelia smiled as she worked on healing a few of the injured sailors. There weren't many, and she found herself done quicker than expected.

"Sanji, do you know where Levi took off to?"

"I think he went down to his room." Sanji pointed to the stairs and Icelia nodded.

"Thanks." she said, wiping her brow as she began traveling downstairs. She found the door to Levi's room cracked open slightly and so she knocked on the frame around the door.

"Levi? Are you awake?"

[Blue]

Levi rolled over and opened his eyes. "Icy?" He stretched out his arms and legs and sat up. "Already got everyone healed?" He asked, yawning. She nodded and smiled. "Mhmm, sure did. Are you feeling alright?" She asked in a gentle voice.
He smiled back, "Yeah, just a little tired, thats all." He yawned again softly. "You know, you did a very good job back there, using that bucket of water and everything. Thank you for helping us..."

[Lightning Star]

She smiled widely, "Thank you. One thing I know about sea creatures is that they can't get too cold or they'll die." she leaned on wall just inside his room. "About earlier...what was it you wanted to tell me? Why you were gone this morning?"

She looked down, "I'm sorry if I'm being nosy, I'm just worried I guess."

Levi looked down. "I... I was talking with Kayden about a few things. He seems to know things about me that even I don't know. Right now though I don't think he's a threat or anything. More or less he's actually here to protect me and to make sure that we succede in bringing Alchemy back." He looked back up and Icy and stood up. "I'm sorry I worried you. I really wanted to tell you at first but Kayden didn't want me to tell anyone else. I won't keep things like that from you again." He went over and gave Icy a hug. "Sorry Icy..."

[Lightning Star]

Icy bit her lip as she returned the hug. Pulling away, she smiled, "Well that's good to know at least." Yawning, she stretched her arms. "What a day. And it's still mid afternoon...I'm exhausted. Hopefully we'll be reaching the docks soon. Until then, I think I'll take a nap. If we reach land and I'm still a sleep, do me a favor and wake me up."

Levi nodded and Icy turned to walk out the door...then paused. Looking over her shoulder, she smiled once more then walked completely out of sight. Once arriving in her room, she collapsed on her bed, thoroughly exhausted. searching through her bag she made sure it was still in her possession. Once she found it, she tucked it back in the leather bag and slipped the bag under her pillow. Quickly, her head hit the pillow and she drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

[Blue]

Levi went back to his bed and fell back asleep. He started dreaming, about the docks, on the other side now. It was him and Icy, walking next to each other with smiles on their faces. Suddenly men with blue hair and armor came running up to the dock. They both looked in fear, but then Levi pulled Icy behind him and held out his hand and sent a shockwave, knocking them all off the dock. He took her hand and led her off the dock. As soon as he reached the end, an elderly man was standing there.
He woke up and sat up. "What in the..." The boat started shaking violently. "Holy crap, whats going on out there?"

[Folcon]

((OOC, I just noticed, SoT is on vacation. So I'll have to just bypass his character.))

When the man didn't respond, Folcon punched him in the face and knocked him out. He then dragged the man inside the gate and hurried off toward an inn near the docks. Inside, he asked for a room. Once Marth and Kalis were settled, Folcon slipped outside and went out one the streets. As he arrived at one of his old haunts, he noticed a sign nailed to the door. It read, "This establishment has been shut down by order of the new lord of Kalay, Lord Krator, for the promotion of gambling and illegal busness works."

"Illegal my ass," Folcon mumbled, walking down the street towards another bar in hopes that it would be open. "This Krator person must not like mercenaries." When he arrived at the bar, he saw that it was open. Stepping inside, Folcon saw that the place was fairly crowded. He walked over to the bar and waved to the barman. "What's going on here." Folcon asked. "This place was never this crowed when I used to come here."

"Haven't you heard," the barkeep asked. "There are rumors that say Vault has been destroied."

"Popostrus!" Folcon said loudly, getting the attention of several people. "I just came from that area, and I saw Vault. Yes it had been attacked, but the monsters that attacked had been destroyed and the village was rebuilding."

"Are you sure," someone in the crowd asked.

"I, Folcon Reed, never lie. Almost never. But about something like this, never. Now if you'll excusse me, I need to be somewhere else." Folcon hurried out the door and down the street, taking the long way back toward the inn and kicking himself for makeing such a slip. He had enimies in this city and now they might be able to find him. Finally, after ducking through a last alley and checking behind him, he slipped back into the inn and aproached the nighttime innkeeper. "Excuse me," he said. "I'm trying to locate some aquaintences that might have come this way, have you seen them?" Folcon asked, before going on to describe Levi and Icelia.

The innkeeper nodded and said, "Yes, they were here a few days ago, they left on the ship for Tolbi. But the next ship won't leave for another week."

"Humph," Folcon snorted, "We can walk around in that time. Thanl you." Folcon then went up to the room and stepped inside. He saw that Kalis was sleeping quitely, but Marth was sitting on a ledge by the window looking out. "Somthing on your mind?" Folcon asked.

"Not realy," Marth replied, "just wondering where we go from here."

"According to the innkeeper, we are going to Tolbi, the long way."

Marth just nodded, "Figgurs we would go back to where we started."

"Get some rest Marth, you'll need your energy tomorrow."

Marth nodded and walked over to his bed, then he realized, there were only two beds in the room. "Where are you gonna sleep," he asked. He had known Folcon for several years now, and trusted him with his life, but ...

Folcon walked over to the window and opened the it. "Where do you think," he said, before climbing out and onto the roof. Closing the window most of the way, he found a comfortable spot and rolled out his bedroll and lied down. After a few minutes, he was asleep.

[Blue]

Levi flung open the door and stepped out to the deck. He saw that a few people were already knocked out, facing the floor. A few were staring up just above Levi. "What, what is it?!" He turned around and his mouth dropped open. There it was, its body raised out of the sea behind the ship. A large sea serpent with its fangs pertruding from its gaping maw. It let out a massive roar, pushing Levi back a few steps. Levi stared long and hard at the beast. Can I fight such a thing, its so huge, so powerful. It surges with the strength of Mercury... Levi then pulled out his sword. Glistening in the light, he filled it with psynergy. It build up an aura around in, causing the space around it to distort. In an instant, he charged at the large beast, yelling at the top of his lungs.

Thane just stared as a few sailors were knocked out by the huge sea serpent. It had appeared suddenly and had caught all of them unawares. He watched as Levi charged his sword with Psynergy, and decided to help.

He swung his Trainer's Whip and a large Blue Dragon appeared in front of him. Pushing back the hair out of his eyes, he jumped onto the creature and took off, flying swiftly around the serpent. The Blue Dragon got close to the beast, and Thane had the chance to hit it a few times with his rod. Unfortunately, it caused far less damage than he had expected.

The serpent swung it's head to the right, and Thane's ride just barely dodged the attack. Ordering the Dragon to fly above the serpent, Thane cast Poison Flow at the enemy, and the blast of poisoned wind rapped around it. At the same time, his Blue Dragon shot a number of sharp icicles from his its mouth. For a few seconds none could see through the thick cloud of poison, but then it vanished and it was obvious that the attempted attacks had no effect. "This thing is strong", Thane said.

[Blue]

Seeing that Thane's attacks weren't even affecting the creature, Levi decided he was going to have to change his tatic. He poured more energy into the sword and took off. Going behind the creature he swung himself around to slice. Unfortunatly the scales of the beast stopped the blade cold. "What?! Are you kidding me?" The serpent swung its head around and smashed it into Levi, knocking him towards the boat. He caught himself in the air and floated there for awhile. "Crap, how am I going to fight this thing?" Levi was trying to think when the serpent starting forming giant icecles in its mouth. "Ice Missle? Dang it, everyone down!" The sharp ice shot towards the boat, as everyone looked for shelter. Levi deflected a few with his sword. "How are we going to fight against this creature if we can't even hurt it?" He dug around in his pockets. "Well I guess I have no choice." He pulled out the Mars Star and grasped it in his palm, its bright light shining through his hand...

[Folcon]

Folcon woke early the next morning and climbed in through the window. He woke the others and dragged them down stairs. In minutes, they were walking down the streets toward the western gate of town.

"Why'd you wake us so early," Kalis yawned.

"We have a lot of ground to cover," Folcon replied. "It's a two day trip across the sea by ship. With no ship, we have to walk around it. Which will take at least four days at a leasurly pace. That ship should be in Tolbi by now if it hasen't run into monsters. I want to get there as soon as possable. Damn I wish I could just fly both of you over," Folcon said as they walked out of the city and turned North toward Silk Road.

"What do you mean, 'Fly us both over,'" Kalis asked.

Folcon reached into his coat and pulled on the cords to his vest, releasing his wings. "I can fly, but I can only carry one person."

Kalis just grinned and said, "Hey not a problem. Watch this." He lifted his guantlet up and pressed a few internal switches. He then pointed it away and fired his selected pellet. In a flash of light, a long, strange-looking board fell into the grass.

"What is that?" Marth asked.

"Well, normaly I use it as a snowboard. But it's main use is low level flight, watch." He stepped on the board and pressed a hidden button with his toe. Instanly, two metal bands came out and wrapped themselevs around his feet, securing them to the board. Them with a strange humming sound, the board lifted up into the air, takeing Kalis up with it. "See, like I said, flight aint a problem for me."

Folcon wistled in amazment and said softly, "The wonders of technology. I wonder how long it will take our world to return to that point."

"Did you say something," Kalis asked.

"No, I was just thinking to myself. Here," Folcon handed his bag to Marth, who slung it over his shoulder and strapped it to his own. Once it was secure, Folcon led the two toward a cliff, "Alright, Marth, climb on," Folcon said, indcating his back.

Marth walked up behind Folcon and climbed onto his back, piggyback style, and used a length of rope to loosely tie himself to Folcon, makeing sure not to get in the way of Folcon already outstretched wings. "I'm ready," Marth said.

Without a word, Folcon lept off the cliff and the pair plummeted toward the sea below. When the were within twenty feet of hitting the shalow water, Folcon snapped open his wings and began beating them powerfully, caring both of them back up tothe cliff top.

Kalis just looked on in amazment for a moment berfore toeing the controls and gliding foward. "Lead the way," he said.

Folcon nodded and took of in the direction of Tolbi, with Kalis trailing behind.

[Aquamarine]

The Blue Dragon Thane was riding rose into the air to dodge a powerful whack from the serpent's tail. He saw the creature was getting ready to smash into the ship, which would certainly cause it to sink. "Quickly, fly in front of it to grab its attention! It mustn't destroy the boat!", As the Dragon flew forwards, Thane noticed for a split second a red glow radiating from Levi, who was standing on the deck of the ship.

Then Thane's eyes widened. "Wait, turn around! Now!" he ordered his Blue Dragon. It did as told, and Thane saw it. In Levi's hands, one of the Orbs he was searching for. The Mars Star.

Dumbstruck, he just stared at the man on the boat. He had been next to him all this time... He remembered the blue glow he saw back in the inn at Kalay Docks. If Levi had the Mars Star, where was the Mercury Star?

Suddenly, he was struck hard by the creature he was supposed to be fighting. The Blue Dragon disappeared into thin air and Thane plunged into the cold water below.

[Folcon]

They were making rapid progress across the sea, after just five hours of nonstop flight, they arrived at Crossbone Island, about halfway across.

Worn out, Folcon landed on the island and Marth slid off his back. A few seconds latter, Kalis landed nerby.

"Where are we," the blue-clad young man asked.

"This place is called Crossbone Island, not many people come here, so its pretty empty. Just stay here on the beach and you'll be fine, I need to rest for a little."

"Whatever," Kalis said.

Meanwhile, Marth was busy lighting a fire and cooking a quick meal of skewered meat and potatos. When it was done, he brought over a skewer and handed it to Folcon, and gave another to Kalis and the three comrads sat down to eat.

"I'm kinda surprised," Folcon said between bites. "That my haveing wings didn't startle you."

"I've seen enough in the last several days, that nothing surprises me any more. One minute, I'm boarding down a slope, tearing up the snow, the next, I get sucked through some gateway to this world, evidently coming out of this Golden Sun. Then I see a bunch of kids use magic that I can't sicentificaly explain. Latter, I meet you and a few days latter get attacked by goblins. Tell me, why should I be startled?"

"Hmph," Folcon snorted, "good point."

The conversation was abruptly cut off as a bright red light shone forth from farther west across the sea. As the light shone on him, Folcon saw a pruple light shine from his bag in responce. Swearing several various terms that were from a dead langage, Folcon took out the Jupiter Star and saw it shine a little brighter. "Damn it." Folcon quickly wraped the Star in several layers of cloth and stuffed it in his pocket. The light doused, Folcon tossed the bag to Marth and spread his wings, "Get on."

Marth restrapped the bags to his back and climbed onto Folcons back, tieing himself in place. "What's going on?"

"Someone is using the power of the Mars Star," Folcon said, taking off and strugglling for altitude. Seconds latter, Kalis was in the air with them.

"It came from that way," he said, pointing.

Folcon nodded and turned around toward Marth, "I need some help here."

Marth nodded and aimed a hand past Folcon's shoulder to a spot in below him, Closing his eyes, he mumbled, "Fireblast," and a burst of flame shot from his hand, burning a steady stream. Folcon spread his wings further, letting the thermal heat carry him higher up into the air, soon he was a few hundred feet up and began gliding toward the source of the still shining light.

[Lightning Star]

Icelia ran out of her room onto the deck and widened her eyes as she watched Levi and Thane try to control the monster.

"What in the name of mercury?" she wondered aloud. Then a thought reached her mind as she quickly ran back into her room. Lifting her pillow, she grabbed her bag and began searching for the Mercury Star. What? Where is it?! It was here before I fell asleep! She began to search around the bed frantically. The boat rocked hard, sending her falling to the floor. As she rubbed her head, a small blue orb slid along the wood floor beside here. "There you are!

Picking up the star, she ran outside as best she could with the rocking of the boat. People lay strewn about, injured. The monster was ready to send an attack. Ice missile...they won't survive!

Raising her orb in the sky, she shouted at the top of her lungs, "I call upon the mighty waters of this earth, TIDAL REFLECT!" Suddenly the passengers aboard the ship were encircled by a watery sheild. I pray this works...

[Blue]

Seeing that Icy had the passengers safe, he decided to not hold back. He held the star up high, and fire erupted around him. The Sea Serpent opened its massive mouth and started foriming a ball of ice energy. Levi held his hands out with the Mars Star floating in front of them. "Oh power of fire. Lend me your strength to burn my enemies to ash. Destroy all the stand in my path. Lay waste to those who would deter me from my objectives..." The star began drawing the flames into a ball of fire. The beast and Levi kept charging their attack for a few more seconds. Suddenly the creature fired a ray of ice straight at Levi. He stared it down and yelled out, "Cycle Beam!" The fire burst out in a stream of what looked like molten lava. The two elements clashed and stood their ground. If the Mars Star was at full strength, I would have torn right through that attack... Then let me assist! Instantly, the red fire that surrounded Levi turned to a boiling blue, which went into the stream. When it reached the beam of ice, it blew it into oblivion and drove itself through the skull of the sea serpent. "Holy..."
Suddenly Levi lost a lot of his strength and started falling towards the boat.

[Folcon]

Folcon rapdily made his way toward the source of the flash of light, in seconds, a boat came into view. Folcon quickly saw what was going on. A massive Ice Serpent was attacking the ship. As he drew closer, a blue light filled the sky and a watery barrier formed around part of the ship. "The Mercury Star," Folcon muttered, as he made his final approach. Folcon the spotted the ones fight the monster. It was some guy he didn't know, ... and Levi.

Folcon was shoocked that Levi was flying, but then, the man unleashed a mass fire attack on the beast that punched through it's skull, killing it. As the beast's corpse slid beneath the waves, Folcon saw Levi sudder and start to fall.

"Hey Marth," Folcon yelled over his shoulder, "Time to drop and roll."

Marth nodded and Folcon dived toward the deck. Just as he cleared one side, Marth cut the rope binding them and slipped off Folcon's back, falling a few feet to the deck and hitting it in a roll that took him back onto his feet, sword drawn. At the same time, as soon as Marth was off his back, Folcon pulled up and headed straight toward Levi's falling form.

Arms out, Folcon managed to snag Levi's shirt as he flew past and pulled the semi-conscious being after him. Folcon the yanked on the shirt and pulled Levi up into a better grip before angleing back toward the boat.

I should drop him, Folcon thought. If I do, the danger from him will be stopped. I can't let the evil that resides in this man continue. But Folcon just took Levi to the ship and landed on the deck.

"Levi," a voice shouted out.

Folcon looked up and saw Icelia coming toward them. When she reached them, she drew back her hand and slapped Folcon across the face and was about to repeat the slap when Folcon caught her hand and stopped it.

"Tend to the wounded," Folcon said, Heafting Levi on one shoulder. "Then come back and attack me." Folcon then made his way toward the door that led to the cabins and paused. "By the way, where is this guy's cabin?"

[Lightning Star]

Icelia frowned. "If it weren't for the fact that I was going to heal them anyways, I would fight you now." She walked past him "Follow me."

She guided the man down to Levi's cabin, watching him lay the limp form on his bed.

"Thats all, you can go now."

"I will go when I please." She scowled, "If you so much as scratch him, So help me god, you will not live to see the light of day."

She began to walk out, but Folcon laughed, "A girl like you could not possibly do me harm."

Icelia spun around on her heels, "You know, why don't you do some good and help me carry the wounded to their beds. I'm not sure I trust you with Levi. He's just out cold, he'll wake up soon." she crossed her arms, "Either that or leave. If I'm not mistaken, you don't have a ticket for this ship."

[Folcon]

((OOC @ Lightningstar, I wish you wouldn't make Folcon look like shuch an ass.))

"My friends will help them. Tell me, why do you hate me so. Is it because I am so diferent from you. That I am not human but an Avian. I am the last of my ancient race girl, there are no more of my kind. I don't take it very well, espeacaly since this man who lies here now is one of those responsable." Folcon stood up and took a step toward Icelia. keeping his hands crossed on his chest. "Now tell me, where are the two Stars that are on this ship?"

(Meanwhile, on deck)

Seeing no other enimies, Marth sheathed his blade and watched Folcon land, an unconcious Levi in his arms. Moments after Folcon, Levi and Icelia disapered below decks, Kalis landed with his flight board.

"Damn," the blue-clad young man said. "Looks like a war zone." Marth watched as Kalis did, whatever it was he did, and the board disapeared.

"Come on," Marth said, "Let's go help the injured."

Kalis nodded and the two began to help the injured.

[Blue]

Levi's eyes were getting heavy as he was falling, but he was able to make out the shape of Folcon racing towards him. As he closed his eyes, his mindscape appeared. The white room, with the dark man at the other end. "Why did you interfer, I could have taken that thing out on my own."
The dark man chuckled, "Oh, I know, but you see, you were taking too long."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Shortly after activating the Elemental Star, the others reacted to it, which no doubt would attract unwanted attention. Like the Avian..."
"Wait, so does that mean he has one?" Levi questioned in a serious tone
"Yes! I can feel the energy pulsate from him. Unfortunatly his mistrust of us has come full circle. I believe he remembers who we are."
Levi's eyes grew wide. "You can't be serious. Before it was like he only had a feeling of we just met some where before. If he remembers the travisdies I caused in the past, does that mean he'll try to destroy me?"
"Heh, if your little ice lady doesn't stop him."
Levi frowned at the comment. "What is that suppose to mean?"
"You can't hide your heart from me, boy. I know everything you want. Including to be rid of me, but don't worry. I'm not affended at all, in fact I look forward to this challenge. Ah, your little ice lady has been healing you. It's time for you to go back...

[Folcon]

Before Icelia could respond, Levi groaned, causing both of them to look over at him.

"Good, your awake," Folcon said, as he walked to the door. He paused as he pasted Icelia and said softly that only she could hear, "If I wanted to kill him, I could have let him fall into the sea, think about that next time, before you threaten me girl." He then walked out the door and out onto the deck.

On deck, he saw Kalis and Marth leaning against the rail, talking about something. He walked over and Marth handed him his cloak and Folcon drapped it over his shoulders after folding in his wings.

Folcon sighed and muttered to himself, "What's the point in hiding what I am anymore. Things are escalating to the point where it just dose not matter any more. My exsistance is revealed and now there is nothing I can do to stop it. Word will spreed. Every bounty hunter looking for me will be after me once more. Maybe I should return to Shamen Village for now. Beyond Marth, they are the only people I trust. But," he said, looking over at Marth and Kalis, who were now laghing at some joke, "what will I do with them. To take them with me would put them in danger of those that seek to destroy me, but to leave them, no abandone them, that could be far worse."

"Hey Folcon," Marth yelled, breaking him out of his thoughts, "the ships captain wants to see us."

Great, Folcon thought to himself, what trouble now?

[Lightning Star]

(OOC @Escout: I think we've established that our characters don't like each other. Besides, it only seems like something he would say to her, at least.)

Icy stood there, looking at the ground in a trance, "Avian...that name..." She clenched her fist, turned, and punched the wall. Hanging her head with her fist still to the wall, she slipped her other hand in her pocket and pulled out the mercury star. Looking at it's shine, she scowled then put it back.

I can't tell...if he means us no harm...but he certainly does not mean us any good.

"Icy...?" Levi asked quietly.

She let her hand slide away from the wall and lifted her head, but did not turn to look at him. "There are wounded passengers. I'm going to go tend to them." she said monotonously before walking out his room and leaving a very baffled Levi sitting on his bed.

She saw most of the wounded had been gathered below deck, and immediately began to cure each one. The healing process went by quickly, as her mind was swimming in places other than the present and it seemed easier to heal normal humans rather than adepts. When the last one was healed, a young girl of about 6 or 7 looked up into her blue eyes and frowned.

"Mr. Bunny is hurt." The girl held up a stuffed animal who's leg had been ripped open at the seam.

Icy took the bunny gently and looked at it's cute face, one button of an eye missing. "If you let me, I'll take Mr. Bunny to a special place and bring him back better than ever."

The girl reached for the stuffed animal and held him close to her. "No..." she whimpered.

Icy looked at the girl with an empathetic smile, "Do you trust me?"

The girl paused, then nodded, hesitantly handing the worn stuffed animal over. Icelia cradeled it and pretended to talk to the stuffed animal, "Alright Mr. Bunny, are you ready to be fixed up?" she changed her voice to sound different, "Yes I am miss Icelia! Oh boy I'm so excited!"

The little girl giggled then looked at Icy worried, "Will it hurt him?"

Icy smiled, "Not at all." She stood up, "I'll be back in no time. In the mean time, just rest. Before you know it, he'll be good as new!"

The girl nodded and Icy walked back to her room. She fumbled through her bag before pulling out a little wooden box cluttered with sewing supplies. Sitting on her bed, she began to tend to the war-torn bunny. As she worked on fixing it up, she began to subconsiously let her mind drift back to musings. But this time, it was different, and before she knew, she was watching a video from the past play in color and sound in her mind.

Mommy! Kitty's hurt! Icelia held up a stuffed cat, the arm cut open with stuffing falling out of the "wound".

"Oh dear, let's see what we can do!" An older blue haired woman smiled sweetly before taking the little orange plushie and bringing it into her "stuffed animal emergency room." She sat down at her desk, placing the animal upon it, then looked toward Icy, "Doctor, I need a needle and orange thread." Icy bobbed her head quickly, her pigtails swishing in the air. She ran over to a wooden box and found the needle, then ran over to a wooden rack and picked out an orange thread that seemed to match Kitty's fur.

Icy ran back and handed the woman the requested tools. She watched in anticipation and fascination as the older woman began stitching the stuffed animal back together again. When her mother finished, she turned and held the kitty in her arms. "Thank you miss Aria! I feel MUCH better!" her mother spoke with a falsetto voice, then changed back, "Why no problem Kitty! All in a days work."

"Thank you mommy!" Icelia took the stuffed animal with a toothy grin and held it close. Aria smiled and ruffled the little girl's hair.

Icelia hadn't realized the tears that had began to leak down her cheek as she fixed up Mr. Bunny. Thank you, mommy...

(OOC: Wow, long post. Aww, flashback. How sweet ^^)

[Aquamarine]

Thane plunged into the dark water, losing his sense of direction for a moment. He quickly regained control over his body and decided which way was up. He couldn't see anything through the dark waters, not even the huge Ice Serpent. Holding tightly to his staff, he swam quickly towards the fresh air above the Karagol Sea.

He took a deep breath as his head broke the surface of the water. Suddenly, a blazing flash of red light appeared in the night sky not far above him, and the giant serpent came crashing down towards him. Had it fell on top of Thane it would have pulled him beneath the surface, but thankfully it fell just next to him, splashing water all over his already wet face.

Looking up at the boat, he thought about how he should climb aboard from here. He knew nobody would notice him as it was dark and many people were injured and still worried about the serpent. Waving his free hand in the air, a strange, transparent platform appeared beneath him and he rose into the air. He knew the Hover wouldn't last long, and as it disappeared he grabbed the edge of the ship and hoisted himself over.

Ignoring the cries of help of the wounded people, he searched for Levi. He couldn't find him. It was probably best that way. Needing time to think, Thane made his way to his room.

[Blue]

Seeing Icy run off quickly, Levi almost jumped out of bed after her, but he noticed he was bandage up around his chest. Must have broken a rib or two when I got hit by the Sea Serpent... He laid back down and stared up at ceiling. Lot of things have been happening lately. Things seem to be getting more complicated by the moment. I just know things are going to get more hectic. He pulled out the Mars Star and looked into it. Where did your power go to? I wish I could pull out the things you've seen, maybe I can find out. He heard some one walk into run of the rooms into a hurry. "Huh?" He stutered out loud. He sat up to try and get up, but his chest started hurting. "Eng, dang it..." He laid back down. If only I could heal faster. Well, maybe I should get some more rest, sleep is always best for restoration. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

"Come on Levi, your doing good. Keep concentrating." There was an eldelry man standing in a odd looking room. A younger looking Levi was standing there, levitating a few stones. "Hah, I'm doing it!" The rocks were steady as Levi began rotating them in circles. "Excellent, you've learned how to control your emotions, allowing you to enhance your Psynergy. You must alwayrs remember to never allow the things inside you to take control. Especially 'it', you are stronger than it ever will be..."

[Lightning Star]

She wiped away the tear and smiled, realizing she had remembered a part of her past, and regained a piece of her heart. Aria...what a beautiful name... Icy smiled as she finished sewing on a matching black button onto Mr. Bunny's face; The leg had already been mended and reinforced.

She got up, putting away her sewing supplies and carried the stuffed animal in her arms. She walked past Levi's room and peaked her head in to see him fast asleep. She smiled, and walked back to the little girls room to see she had fallen asleep as well. Her parents (who had also been previously injurred) were startled at the sight of Icy carrying the girl's stuffed animal.

"She wanted me to heal him." Icy smiled and handed the bunny to the girls parents. They smiled and tucked the stuffed animal under the girl's sleeping arm.

"She won't go anywhere without it." The woman laughed.

"You're the healer, right?" The man asked. Icy nodded, and the man smiled, "Thank you."

"Her fever is also gone." Icy informed

"Fever?" The parents looked at each other.

"She had a fever and was fighting it off strong, so when I healed her injuries, I was also able to take care of her temperature. She should be fine when she wakes up." Icy smiled.

"How do you do it?" The woman asked, "I know people who heal by super natural forces, but I've never been able to figure out how they do it."

"I suppose it's just a gift I was born with. But if you want to call it anything, it's just alchemy--tapping into the elements."

As they talked, the girl's eyes fluttered open, "nngh..." she rolled on her side to see her parents smiling back at her. "Mommy?"

"Just rest, Aria."

"Aria? That's a beautiful name. That was actually my mother's name." Icy smiled, "Oh, my name is Icelia, by the way."

"Damian." the father introduced

"I'm Marlene." The red-headed mother greeted.

She shook the parents hands and knelt down beside Aria's bed. "Are you feeling better?"

"Uh huh!" Aria smiled, sitting up in bed. She noticed the fixed-up stuffed animal in her arms and smiled, "Mr. Bunny!" she looked him over with intense happiness! "Thank you Miss. Icelia!" she leaned over to hug Icy and wrapped her little arms around the healers neck.

Icy smiled, hugging the girl back. "See? What'd I tell you?" She pulled away and looked at the girl, "Now you just rest and get better for me, okay?"

"Okay!" The girl nodded then laid back down. "Good night Miss Icelia!"

"Goodnight, and you can call me Icy." She stood up, "You two should get some rest too. It was nice meeting you all."

"You too, and thank you again." The woman responded and Icy walked out of the room.

So much has happened to sleep. Besides, I'm not even tired. She walked up on deck to catch a breath of fresh air. The air was a little muggy, but refreshing at least. She leaned on the rail and looked up at the stars. Remembering back to her conversation with Folcon, she thought back to her previous wonder, Avian...why does that sound so familiar? If only I could remember more...

[Blue]

Levi slowly woke up. "Huh, that memory..." He sat up and felt his chest. It already felt better. "Strange..." He got up and put his shirt on. Taking the Mars Star with him, he left the room and headed up to the deck. Yawning slightly, he climbed the stairs and breathed in deep the salty sea air. "Already almost morning." He then noticed Icy out of the corner of his eye. Turning around, he saw her staring out to the sea. It looked like she had a lot on her mind, but he still couldn't decide if he should go to her or not. He slightly clenched his fist and walked towards her.

He was moving slowly and was a little nervous, for what reason he didn't know. He then walked right next to her and stood there for a moment. "Ummm, Hey Icy."
She turned around a bit surprised. "Oh, hi Levi. Are you feeling better?"
"Yes, actually I am. Thank you for asking." He wasn't sure why he was nervous. "How are you doing? Feeling alright?"
She nodded. "Mhmm, a little tired, but I'll be alright." Levi smiled.
"You know, I don't think I could have gotten this far without your help. I'm so reckless, I'm sure I would be lying in a ditch some where with out you." Levi said, looking down a little. "I really owe you a lot." He blushed a little.

[Lightning Star]

She laughed and smiled, "No problem. I've found that somehow, healing people brings me peace." she looked out at the sea, "It's the one sure link I have to my past." She remembered her vision from the past and smiled.

"I healed this little girl, but her stuffed animal had been torn at the seam, so I fixed it up. Without even realizing it, I remembered a time when my mother had fixed up one of my stuffed animals. The funny thing? I found out her name was Aria, and when I asked the little girl what her name was, her name was Aria too."

"Ironic." Levi replied surprised. She could see he was blushing, which somehow became contagious. Seeing him smiling at her made her feel as if her heart had dropped into her stomach. Suddenly, it hit her, Am I...in love?

She bit her lip and quickly looked away, as her blush grew deeper. "But thank you...Ever since we started da- I mean traveling," She smacked herself mentally smooth one, Icy., "I've begun to put bits and pieces of my past back together." She turned and looked at him, "And through all this madness, I finally have a friend who I can rely on."

Icy gulped Now or never... she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek, "Thanks." she smiled and turned to walk away.

Folcon sat on the bunk he had been assigned in the crew quarters, reflecting on the events that had occured since he had be called to the captain's cabin. He was thanked for the help he and his comrads had provided after the serpent's attack. As a thank you, the captian allowed them to stay aboard the ship for the duration if the voyage.

Looking over at his friends, Folcon saw both were sound asleep, Marth curled in a ball huging his knees, and Kalis, snoring soundly as his arms dangled off the bunk.

Folcon just shook his head and pulled out the green memory stone. This stone contained the memories I had once sealed away, but it still contains the memories that were stripped from Levi when we sealed him in Mt. Aleph. Should I make the offer to return them, and if I do, what will happen to Levi, I can see that this is a kinder man then the one I knew. If I return his memories to him, he might return to his old self, his dark self. Can I risk that. And Icelia, why does she hate me? If my guess is correct, then they have the Mars and Mercury Stars with them. I hate to admit it, but I need their help. But how can I earn thier trust? And then we have to find the Venus Star. But, even if we find the last star, how do we go about finishing the breaking of the seal? As far as I know, there are posably two solutions to triggering the regrowth of the world. Return to the Lighthouses and try refireing them, or, hunt down the Lost Lighthouses, the Twin Lighthouses Sol and Luna. But, do they still stand? Or have them been consumed by Gaia Falls? I need to talk to them. Try and show them I am not a threat.

Folcon stood up and made his way back to the deck. Looking around, he saw Levi and Icelia standing together, talking. As he was about to approach, he saw Icelia lean foward and give Levi a peck on the cheeck.

"Good evening," he said.

For hours and hours all Thane did was stare at the ceiling of his room. His bed was now soaking wet, as he didn't dry himself off after his 'swim'. Even if he wanted to he couldn't fall asleep.

He thought about the Mars Star and Levi. He thought about what he should do. His greatest desire was to walk over to Levi and grab the Elemental Star. He knew taking the Orb wouldn't be as easy as he thought though. Levi was obviously very powerful if he was able to kill that Ice Serpent. Although he didn't actually see it, he knew it was Levi who sent that fire beam flying towards the creature.

As for fighting Levi, Thane didn't care much about him, but he knew trying to take the
Mars Star from him would leave a bad taste in his mouth, as he was Icelia's friend. Although Thane didn't know her very well either, she seemed to be one of the few truly good people he had met.

Which brought him to the Mercury Star. If Levi had the Mars Star, did that mean Icelia had the Mercury Star? Of course, that was just a wild guess, and it didn't have to mean a thing.

Thane snapped out of his trance as he heard someone walk past the door to his room. He looked through the window and saw a man with white hair and feather braided into his hair walk by. Thane got up and looked through the window. He was quite surprised to see Icelia and Levi not far to the left of his cabin. He could see them clearly, but couldn't hear them. The man with white hair approached them. I must hear their conversation Thane thought, It might give me much needed answers that would help me decide...

He opened his door just slightly in order to hear their voices. Leaning against the wall next to the door so that nobody could see him, he heard the man say "Good evening"

[Blue]

Levi stood there for a moment, stunned, and flushed red. I... wasn't expecting that... He started smiling and looked at to the sea.
"Good evening." Levi turned around to see Folcon standing near.
"Oh, eh, hey there." Levi stutered a little.
"So, you and Icelia are getting rather close I see."
"Er, ummm..." Levi looked away for a moment.
"And I also see that you have come into possesion of something." Folcon's tone became more serious. Levi paused for a moment. He knows... It was right, the Star would bring attention to others...
"Well, no point in hiding it really, though I should let you know, I know you too have obtained such an item." Folcon didn't look surprised. "I'm also aware of the knowledge you have re-atained." Levi started looking more serious.
Folcon then raised an eyebrow.
"I see. So then you must realize..."
"Wait a moment." Levi raised his hand. "Right now as it stands, we really shouldn't be talking about this, not now atleast. I don't think we are alone at the moment..."

[Lightning Star]

Icy had to chuckle at Levi's response to Folcon's comment. As they talked, she nodded, adding her opinion on the matter. "We should wait until we reach land to discuss this matter in private. Will you be staying on the ship?" she asked.

"Yes, the captain has let me stay on board for helping with the passengers." Folcon nodded.

"Hm..." She mused. Something...I'm not sensing any danger. His demeanor does not seem false either, perhaps I should tread water a little longer., "So Folcon, you mentioned something about being an Avian...what do you mean? Is it a different land or different race completely?"

[Aquamarine]

At Levi's words Thane backed slowly away from the door, and lie down on his bed without making a sound. He could still hear them, but some words were slightly muffled and he couldn't make them all out.

Nevertheless, he had heard quite a lot, even if they weren't using obvious and clear words. Was it possible that this Falcon guy or whatever had the Mercury Star? Was it his room Thane had seen it glow in back at that inn?

Then he heard Icelia ask him if he was an Avian. Thane's eyes widened. Could he possibly be an Avian? He closed his eyes and listened intently to what the man would respond.

Suddenly, the whole ship seemed to turn onto its side. Thane's body smacked against the wall next to his bed. Then, as the boat moved back into its normal position, he could hear loud noises all around him, all over the ship. He ran quickly out of his room and saw hundreds upon hundreds of Lizardmen, Man-O-Wars and many other creatures jumping from the water onto the ship. Wondering what they could all be looking for here, Thane held his staff in front of him, readying himself for battle, even if their chances of winning against such large numbers did seem bleak.

[Lightning Star]

"Damn it!" Icy cursed aloud, as she found herself surrounded by dozens of man o' war. The passengers and even some sailors were smart enough this time to stay below decks and leave the fighting to the adepts.

Closing her eyes, she focused her psynergy on three of the hideous creatures. "Douse!" she called.

"They're mercury--" Levi began

"I know! Just TRUST me!" she closed her eyes once again, focusing on now not only ugly but angry man o' war. "GLACIER!" The drenched sea creatures froze immediately, thanks to her previous attack.

Levi immediately recognized the strategy they had used before and ran after the creatures, swinging his blade through the frozen beings.

"Three down...20 more to go." Icy grunted, desperately trying to dodge the numerous attacks the monsters threw at them.

[Blue]

"Dang it, why are so many coming?" He then thought of what he was told before. "Its the Stars, they are attracting the monsters..." He swung his sword and a Lizards man that jumped at him. He cut it down and held out his hand. "Force!" A shockwave went forth and knocked off a few of the Man o' War. We shouldn't use the Elemental Stars for the rest of the trip... He dashed forward and slashed through a line of Lizards.
Folcon was even faster than Levi, some times he even lost track of him. He's about 5 times faster than I am. Good thing he's helping us out now.
Suddenly Levi heard a cry for help, he turned around to see Icy was being cornered to the edge of the boat by the Lizards and the Mans o' War. "Icy!" Levi rushed over as fast as he could. Icy then lost her balance when she backed into the railing and started to fall over. "No!" Levi leaped and took off from the boat. He went over the edge and dived down. Right before she touched the water, Levi caught her in his arms.
"Are you ok?"

[Folcon]

Folcon growled in iritaion as he was surounded by the monsters. "I don't need this," he said. Swinging his sword, he killed several lizardmen. As more came at him, Folcon focused his wind power into his katana and then unleashed a powerful swing, shouting, "Wind Blade." As he swung the sword, a massive wall of wind swung with it, takeing dozens of creatures with it. It was then he heard a scream and saw Icy fall over the side of the ship and Levi jump after her. Shaking his head, he took the pause in the battle to use his mind read ability in a reverse form and told Marth to get up on deck with Kalis. With confromation, Folcon continued his attack.

((OOC, I'll be gone for the rest of the day, so don't let this go too far without me.))

Levi started to blush as he looked into Icy's eyes. He flew back up to the deck and set her on her feet. "That was close..." Without thinking he leaned in and kissed Icy on the cheek. He then realized what just happened and he blushed a little. Suddenly a Lizard Man came up behind him. Levi whipped around and slugged it in the stomach, then putting his wrist together he pushed into it with Psynergy, pushing it into a group of creatures and knocking them down. "Lets finish this." He pulled out his sword and dashed back into the fray. Slicing and cutting down as fast as he could, he just wanted this fight to end as soon as possible. He then noticed the man from before, Marth, and another person come from below decks as they stepped in for assistance. "Yes, this will end quicker now!"

As Sanji started to walk outside the cabin to fight the monsters, he stopped. He noticed that there were several people already successfully fighting the monsters off, so he decided to stay away from the fight.

Sanji walked over to a chair, sat on it, then leaned it against the nearby cabin wall. He closed his eyes for a moment, recollecting everything that had happened so far...

((OOC: Yes, he's recollecting. =P I haven't RP'd here in a long time, so I need to scan the last several pages again to make sure of what's going on.))

(OOC: I think I'm going to make things a bit more interesting now)

Thane spun his staff over his head and whacked the closest creature, then turned around and hit another few. He ran forwards, placing one end of the staff on the floor and using his momentum to kick a Spiral Shell. He looked around himself. When he and his companions kill some of the monsters double as much seem to jump out of the water. Thane peered out to sea. He could see a few dozen Turtle Dragons coming toward the boat.

"There are too many of them! The number of these creatures doesn't seem to be getting any smaller!" Thane yelled to the others, "You guys get all the passengers here and I'll create as many Gryphons as needed so they can all escape!" Once again, he pulled out his Trainer's Whip and began making Gryphons who attacked the enemy creatures while waiting for the people to climb onto them.

[Lightning Star]

Icy nodded and ran into the common room, where people had begun to gather in worry.

"Everyone!" She shouted, but no one listened. Finding a few crates, she stacked them and climbed up. Whistling, she caught everyone's attention this time, "Listen, the boat ride has become too dangerous for us to continue. One of my friends has called forth some tamed Gryphons to escort you all the shore, which is not far off now. We must leave quickly before more sea creatures come to attack."

"Are you insane?!"

"Those gryphons are monsters!"

"My friend is a master monster tamer. Either you take your chances on him, or you get attacked for sure by more sea monsters." she shrugged, "All who are willing to trust me and the people who have been keeping you safe this whole voyage, get your things and go on deck."

[Folcon]

"Folcon!" Marth yelled, slashing his way through a group of lizard men, "we have to get out of here."

Folcon nodded and pointed toward the gryphons, "Take my bag and escape with the other passengers. I'll try and keep the creatures busy. And take Kalis with you."

"But what about you."

"I'll be fine. It takes more then a bunch of lizards to stop me," Folcon said, sending a reptiliean head flying over the side of the ship. "I'll see you in Tolbi at the Old Shrine. If I aint there in a week, find passage to Hesperia and go to Shaman Village. Tell the elders whats been happening." Marth nodded and fought his way through a group of lizard men with Kalis close behind him.

After a few more minutes, the last passengers were off the ship and only Folcon, Levi, Icelia and the man who summoned the gryphons remained. Now that there's hardly anyone to get caught in the attack, Folcon thought. "Hey guys, get back, I'm gonna try something that will keep these guys real busy." They nodded and made their toward the farther end of the ship.

"Let's see how much you freaks like this," Folcon said, finding himself compleatly surronded by at least a hundred lizard men. Once more focusing his Psynergy into his blade, he charged it to its max copacity. Then, once more unvailing his wings, jumped into the air and pointed the sword toward the massive group of lizardmen. "Thunderblade Chain-lighting Strike," he yelled, unleashing the built up engery from his sword, it shot out in five lighting bolts, slaming into the nearest foe and ripping through them, before branching into two bolts and hitting more targets, continuing on and on untill all the lizardmen on the deck were reduced to chared lumps. Without a second thought, he fired another blasts at the apporching turtle dragons, scattering them for the time being. Folcon then landed on the gore covered deck and wearily approached the others as more lizardmen cautiously climbed up the side of the deck.

"I think...we can....go now," Folcon said exaustedly, right before collapsing to the deck and passing out.

[Blue]

"Crap, Thane, get Folcon out of here!" Thane nodded and summonning another Gryphon, he ran to Folcon and picked him up. The Gryphon walked to them and Thane layed down Folcon onto it. "You two better get out of here!" He yelled out. Jumpin onto the Gryphon, he wistled and it took to the sky.
"Alright, everyone's off, lets get..." Suddenly a small throwing blade came wizzing behind Levi. Sensing it behind him, he grabbed Icy quickly and dashed out of the way. Turning around he saw some one in a black cloak. "I'm sorry beast, but your going no where, not atleast with those Elemental Stars."
Levi couldn't see his face, but from the voice he could tell it was a man. "Who are you?!"
The man kackled. "I'm from a orginization who wants the power of the Golden Sun for ourselves. We are willing to do anything to get our hands on those Elemental Stars."
"Levi, let me take care of this fool." Levi whipped around. It was Kayden standing there, with his weapon drawn.
"Kayden... Alright." Levi nodded. "Icy, lets go." He took her by the hand and started levitating up.
"I said I wouldn't let you leave!" The man procedded to throw five throwing knives in their direction, but Kayden jumped up and nocked them down.

[Folcon]

(Marth POV) ((OOC - it is night when the attack came, right? I just want to be sure.))

Marth looked back over the flapping wings of the gryphon and saw the massive chains of lightning flashing in the dying light. "Turn around," he shouted at the gryphon. "You have to go back, my friend needs my help." The gryphon just ignored him and kept on flying toward the lights of Tolbi.

"There's nothing we can do right now Marth," Kalis yelled from the back of his gryphon. "We just have to wait and see."

"Wait, Kalis. That flying board you have-"

"Won't work, the energy cells are drained. I can't recharge them until morning. Just stay calm and we'll be fine."

"You don't even know where the hell we are. How can you talk of staying calm?"

"I spend most of my life doing stupid things that put my life in danger just for the fun of it. I've broken almost every bone in my body at some point, hell, I was just shot in the arm by a freakin crossbow a few days ago. I've even been in disaster zones, lived thorugh earthquakes, tornados, avalanches, and an inferno or two. I think I know what I'm talking about when I say just stay calm. Besides, you know where we are, or at least where we're going, don't you."

"Yes, those lights there, are from the city of Tolbi, the largest city in this part of the world, maybe in the entire world."

"Then what are you worrying about? Folcon can take care of himself."

"Those flashes you saw, that was Folcon useing one of his most powerful Psynergies, dubbed Mighty Psynergy. They leave him in an exausted, defensless state. In that state, he get plagued by nightmeares that leave him vilolent and uncontrolable for a while. The only thing that can prevent it is me. He needs me. If I had known what he planed, I never would have left."

"He was willing to take the risk, you need to trust him."

"But..."

"He'll be fine. We'll see him in a day or two, I'm sure of it."

[Blue]

Soaring through the night sky with Icy by his side, Levi finally felt truly relaxed since the start of his journey. The cool breeze against his face was refreshing. He looked over at Icy, her eyes closed. She must be exhausted from this whole experience. He looked to the horizon and started to see some lights off in the distance. Finally, we're going to reach Tolbi. He accelerated to catch up to Thane who was caring the worn out Folcon. As he aproached, Levi noticed something odd. Folcon was acting strange, his wings were out and was spazing on the Gryphon. Crap, somethings wrong.

He darted forward to see that Folcon was going crazy. "He started shortly after I got in the air, if he doesn't stop, the Grypon will freak out!" Thane yelled out.
"Give me a moment to think of something!" Levi shouted out. Think Levi think! There has to be a way to restrain him momentairly. Levi searched deep with in the depths of his mind, looking for a technique of some sort. Wait... There it is! He held his hand out and shouted, "Halt!" Suddenly, a small clock appeared over Folcon, a timer started, then shortly stoped. The clock then shatered into small balls of psynergy, surrounding Folcon. He stoped, frozen in time. "It's only temperary! We have to get him to Tolbi as soon as we can!"
Thane nodded and whistled to the Gryphon. It procedded to dash off as fast as it could towards the city lights.

[Aquamarine]

The Gryphon charged toward dry land as fast as he could, Thane's hair flapping over his eyes in the wind. He looked at the limp body in front of him. He was certain now that this man was an Avian, the wings sort of gave that away. Then he looked to his right, where Levi and Icelia were flying next to him at top speed. Icelia seemed to be unconcious.

Thinking only about the Mars Star Levi had in his possession, Thane thought about what he should do. Perhaps this would be the best chance he would have of stealing it from him...

He decided against it though. None of them were still safe and he would only be endangering himself if he tried anything.

That's what he told himself his reasons for not attacking Levi now were. In truth, he had started thinking about the consequences of not returning the Elemental Stars to their lighthouses. Never in his life had he wanted 'ultimate power', so why should he suddenly wish for it now? Also, he didn't want to hurt these people. It was nice being with a group of travelers for a change, and he had started to like them.

"So," Thane began, "How long have you known each other for?" he asked Levi, gesturing to Icelia.

[Folcon]

Folcon's POV

Folcon's eyes opened and he found himself in a dark room. Where am I, he thought as a door opened and a women came in. M..Mom?

"Folcon, wake up Folcon," a voice said in the darkness. "Folcon, you have to get up. The village is under attack. We have to go." A young man's eyes opened and he got out of his bed. "Good boy Folcon, now put on your coat and make sure it covers your wings."

No, not this night, not now.

The blond haird teen put on his coat and tucked his golden wings under it. "Good, now hurry son, we have to leave."

"But mom, I can fight."

"No, Folcon. You can't," the woman said, taking the young man outside to see the village in flames. "I want you to run away. Run into the woods and escape."

"But mom."

"Your not going any where," a voice called out.

Folcon looked over and saw a blood smeared warrior with silver hair and black eyes. "Leviathan," Folcon growled.

"Run Folcon," the woman shouted, drawing a sword and getting between Leviathan and the teen. "Get out of here."

"Pathetic woman, do you realy think you can stop me. You will burn with the rest of your race."

"Run Folcon," the woman said as the boy started to step back.
"Pathetic," Leviathan said, rushing foward and running the woman through.

"Mom," the boy called, a purple light begining to glow around his hands. "You, you *******," the boy said, rasing his hands. "Air Blast," the boy shouted, sending a blast of concentrarted wind at the murrderous Leviathan.

The blast him the silver haired man and sent him flying back into the rubble of a house. When he didn't move, the teen ran to his mother and shook her shoulder. "Mom," he said. "Mom, please wake up."

She weakly opened her eyes and looked at him, "There's nothing you can do for me son *cough* *cough* please, run away. Live and take revenge for the death of our people."

Tear striken, the young man nodded and picked up her fallen sword before running of to the woods.
With tears in his eyes, Folcon stepped up to the limp form of his mother and knelt by her side. "I'm sorry mom," he said, holding her hand in his. "I couldn't save you. I was just a scarried boy back then."

The woman, weak as she was, turned her head toward him and smiled. "Folcon," she said, "It's good to see you've grown into such a fine young man."
"Mom, I.. I haven't finished my revenge yet. It's been over a thousand years, and I still have not compleated it. The man who killed you, he still lives. But he is a different man now. He is not the insain murrdurer that he was then. Even though that evil still rests within him, I..I can't bring myself to kill him. Not as he is. Even if the darkness within him takes over agian, I don't know if I could."

"Forgive him Folcon."

"What?"

"Forgive him. Forgive him and help him conquer the evil within him. You still have many years ahead of you. Don't forget, our kind can live forever, as long as our hearts are pure. Don't let your quest for revenge darken your soul any further. I have forgiven him. Please, you should too. You must work together to save your world. Something seeks to poses the Stars. Stop them. Revive the world, and restore the glory of our people."
"Mom," Folcon said, crying, "I don't want you to leave me."

"Good bye my son, and remember. I love you."
"Mom...MOM!"

"MOM," Folcon said, snapping awake.

Thane looked at Folcon, who had suddenly woken up. "No, I'm actually far from that," Thane said, "Hold on to the Gryphon and don't move. We've almost arrived."

The water beneath them was becoming lighter blue, meaning that it was getting shallower. Finally, land was underneath them, and they sped over trees and plains, heading for Tolbi. It was still quite dark, so not many people we're awake in the city to see the large number of Gryphons land in front of the city gates. All the passengers of the ship were there, some of which seemed to be a bit shaken and woozy by the flight. Thane jumped off his ride and waited for everybody, including the weakened Folcon, to do the same so he could make the creatures disappear.

[Folcon]

Marth POV

"So what's the deal with this Old Shrine?" Kalis asked, bordom evedent in his voice.

"Not much," Marth replied. "Most of the local stories about it say it's a shrine to some forgoten goddess. According to Folcon though, it serves more then that purpose. He hasen't really told me."

Marth and Kalis had been waiting at the Old Shrine, a shrine that is said to have stood for over a thousand years, for the last twelve hours. As soon as their gryphons had landed, they made thier way away from the group of passengers and up a shallow hill to watch the remaining people arrive. Marth was surprised that this mass of gryphons went unnoticed by the people of Tolbi, or more specificly, the solders the patrolled the walls of the city. But he chalked it up to luck and watched, hopeing to see Folcon at some point. Finnaly, after seeing the last of the gryphons land, Marth saw the man who had summoned the gryphons get off his with an awake, but very unsteady, Folcon. Marth sighed in releaf and turned towards the next hill that concealed the path to the Old Shrine.

Now, here they were, waiting at the shrine, just as Folcon said, and he had yet to appear.

[Blue]

Levi landed softly next to all the passengers. He held Icy up gently as she started to wake up. "Are... are we there yet?" She said sleeply.
"Yeah, we're hear." Levi said, holding Icy until she regained her balance. "Alright, I'll go help all of us to get rooms at the inn. The passangers are exhausted, and so are we. Including Folcon..." He turned to Folcon's Gryphon and saw that he was gone. "Huh, where did he go off to?" Levi looked around for awhile, but it was if he just vanished. "Well, nothing I can do about it I guess." He began to gather everyone from the Gryphons and brought them all into a large group. "Alright everyone, lets get going. We'll all probably have to share rooms when we get there. I sure hope the Inn keepers don't mind all of this."

[Aquamarine]

Thane watched as all of the passengers from the ship made their way to the inn. He saw Levi, Icelia and Sanji walk away with them. Thane turned to the group of Gryphons. "Thanks guys, you did great," he said as they transformed into small particles of glowing Psynergy and disappeared.

He slowly made his way up the path the others had taken. The point of this whole trip was to obtain the Elemental Stars. At least that was his original quest. Now that he was in two minds, he didn't know what to do. Should he turn away and avoid seeing the others ever again? No. He decided to do something else, something that wasn't so cowardly. He was going to speak with Levi about everything, and tell him the whole truth.

Before he even knew it, he was in front of the inn. Walking inside, he saw there was barely any room in front of the reception, where Levi was trying to get rooms for everyone. He heard him saying that they were all warn out and they absolutely had to have those rooms, but the woman behind the counter kept repeating that they were out of rooms.

Thane pushed himself through the crowd, sometimes pushing people more forcefully than he should have, and stood next to Levi. "Please leave this to me," he said to him and looked at the receptionist. "I know you have rooms," he said, "I remember this inn's 'policy'. Here you go," he said, putting a few coins onto the table, "This is for my room. And this," he added, opening one of his satchels and puling out a small sack of precious gold coins, "Is to help you find these rooms we need."

The woman took the sack and put it in her pocket. It was obvious she wasn't new to this stuff. "You know, now that I think about it, there are a few spare rooms. You'll have to share your rooms with some other people though," she said with a wide smile.

"All right," Thane said, without the smile. He turned round and told Levi that each of them will have to pay the regular cost for the rooms. He decided he would talk to Levi later, when they had all settled down into their rooms. He didn't care who he would share a room with, all he cared about at this moment was speaking with Levi.

[Folcon]

Folcon's POV

Folcon slipped away in the confusion of all the pasengers from the ship and made his way into town on his own. After a twenty minute walk, he arrived at a the smaller, cheaper inn that he and Marth had been staying at. Before going in, he made sure his wings were concealed and then open the door.

"Good evening," he said to the young man behind the counter.

"Master Folcon," the young man said. "It's good to see you again."

Folcon just nodded and said, "Do you have a room?"

"We have one left. With Colosico(sp) comeing up, there are few rooms avaiable across the city."

"I'll need it for at least a few nights, and I'll be bringing two others over in the morning."

"Of course," the young man said, handing Folcon the key to the room.

Folcon went to the room and closed and locked the door behind him. It's a good thing I have good credit here, Folcon thougt. Seeing as Marth has most of the money.

Soon, Folcon was sound asleep once more. But this time, exausted as he was, he slept peacefully for the first time in over a thousand years.

Folcon woke late the next morning and exited the inn. As he walked through the streets of Tolbi on his way toward the hill where the Old Shrine was, Folcon used what little money he had left to purchase a boquet of flowers, a bottle of fine wine, and a bundle of incents. He carried these items with him the few miles to the shrine.

Marth POV

Marth was getting anxious. It had been fourteen hours since he had last saw Folcon and he was worried. With a sigh, he walked out of the shrine, where Kalis had gone to sleep, and went to the nearby well to fetch some water to quench his thirst. When he look up, he saw Folcon approaching, with flowers one hand, a bottle in another, and a bundle of incents tucked in his pocket.

"Hey Folcon," Marth yelled happily. "Good to see you." As Folcon came closer, Marth saw the calm look in the Avian's eyes. "Did you sleep well?" he asked carfuly.

"Not at first," Folcon said. "But, I slept soundly after talking to my mother. That is why I'm here now with these," Folcon explained, holding up the items.

"What do you mean, talked to your mother?"

Folcon's POV

Folcon just shook his head and walked into the shrine. For the first time in a long time, he took the time to study the Shrine, and sighed happily to note that someone had been maintaining it over the centeries. He set down his items and woke Kalis and told him to go outside. "You go to Marth," Folcon said.

"But why?"

"I wish to pray, and make my offerings alone." As Marth was about to leave, Folcon changed his mind and said, "On second thought, stay. I want you to meet someone."

Marth nodded and walked up to Folcon. As he lifted a pannel from the floor to reveal a small hole. He placed the bundle of incents in the hole and placed the flowers next to them. Putting out his hand, he said, "Hand me the sasuers Marth." When he hastle complied and placed the two shallow dishes in Folcon's hand, Folcon put them before him and opened the bottle of wine and poured some into each dish. He then lit the incents and began murmmering with his eyes clsoed. Marth couldn't understand the words, but he knew them to be fromthe Avian language. Finnaly, Folcon stopped and looked up at the statue before him. "Hello mother, sister," Folcon said, smileing a genuene smile. "I'm sorry I havent visited you in so long. I want you to meet someone." Folcon motioned for Marth to come foward and said, "Mom, sister, this is Marth, my friend."

At first, Marth failed to see anything, but as the light in the Shrine shifted, two ghostly images formed in the smoke, two Avians, and older woman, and a young girl.

"Marth, this is my mother, and my sister, Marrygold."

It was at that moment that Marth realized that the flowers Folcon had brought were also Marrygolds.

"What is this," Marth asked, as the two forms looked happily upon him.

"My family," Folcon replied. I told you my mother was killed by Leviathon, after he dissapeared from the village, I brought he reamins here and buried her. Then built this Shrine around the site."

"But, your sister."

"My mother was with child when she died. I was to have a sister. Merrygold is my unborn sister. This was why I sought so long in the past to destroy Leviathon. But now that Levi existes, I suppose he always has, I have a chance to forgive him. And help him atone for the crimes he commited as Leviathon."

"I am happy to meet you," the ghostly form of the woman said. "I want to thank you for watching over my son this past years."

Marth redded slightly at this praise from a ghost. "He's my friend," Marth said. "I would to anything to help him."

"As would he, he cares about you Marth. He may not act like it, but he loves you."

"Mom!" folcon screached. "Don't say such things. It sounds wrong. Call it brotherly afection at best."

"You see me as a brother?" Marth asked.

Folcon nodded and turned back to his mother's ghost, "Mom, things are changing in this world. Ever since we sealed away Alchemy to prevent another occurance like Leviaton, the world has slow declined. The Elves are gone, the Lemurians have sequestered themselve to there Island, and the people of Prox have tried to conquer the world. The Lighthouses have been lit, but the Stars were found afterwards. The world may have stablized, but it is not regrowing. I think the Twin Lighthouses need to be relite as well."

"Then take the Stars Folcon. And see what you can do to save what is left of the world. And as of this Levi, you might be able to help him. In the catacombs beneath the city of Mardra, is the site were Levi became Leviathon. There is a book there that recored everything that was done to him. Find the book. Take the Stars from here, and take Levi to the Twin Lighthouses. There, you may be able to free him of the monster that lurks withen him. And be sure to offer him his memories back. Good Bye now Folcon. We must leave you now."

"Good bye big brother," the young ghost said, before both forms faded with the last of the smoke.

Folcon lifted the sausers and handed one to Marth and kept the other. "Drink," he said picking up the bottle in his now free hand. "To those that are lost, and to those we must now protect." He then drained his saucer and pour the rest of the bottles over the stone tablet. Finnaly, he stood up and stepped to the back of the shrine, where a statue sat. He reached up behind it a pressed a conceald switch, causing the eyes of the statue to open wide and fall out into his hand. The were the same size as the Jupiter Star, but one was white and the other black.

"What are those," Marth asked.

"The Stars to the Twin Lighthouses, Luna and Sol. These are the Dawn and Dusk Stars."


((OOC - Wow that was long. Well now you have a little more insight into Folcon and his relationship with Marth. Hope throwing in two extra elements don't kill everyone.))
Pocketing them in his bag, Folcon replaced the pannel and walked outside with Marth.

[Blue]

Levi woke up as the morning sun shined down through the windows of the room. He sat up from the floor and rubbed his eyes. Yawning, he looked up out the window. Nice and bright, and I actually had a restful nights sleep. He grabbed his shirt and slid it back on. He stood up and looked at the bed. Icy was sleeping in it. He remembered feeling a little awkward about sharing a room at first, but he took the floor and fell right to sleep. Now looking at her, sleeping peacefully, he felt something that was some what familiar. Something from the past. I don't know what I would do with out you, you mean so much to me.

He turned and slowly walked out the door. Going down the stairs, the kitchen was full of people who were hungry, even Sanji was helping out the cooks making the meals. Levi couldn't help but chuckle a little. He headed out of the Inn to see that the city was a bustle. People every where buying different things and little knick knacks. Warriors were buying equipment for fighting and other things. "Yeash, it's so crowded..." He looked up and notice a shrine out to the distance. "That shrine..."

"You said you're 16, right?" one of the cooks asked Sanji. "How are you such a good cook? I've never seen anything like the food you're making."

Sanji felt himself go red. "Well, It's a kind of...family trait. Virtually my whole family gets this kind of skill..."

"Haha, that's pretty damn cool." the cook replied, "Well, we're almost ready to serve the guests. How about you take a tour around town, since I can finish everything here. You said it's your first time here in Tolbi, so take your time looking at the place."

"Thanks you." Sanji said. Sanji left the kitchen and exited the inn. For at least half an hour, Sanji walked around with delight, having interest in pretty much everything around the city. Because of Colosso, Tolbi was packed with a bunch of tourists ready to watch the competition that would start in a week.

Oh! I need to register for Colosso! Sanji thought to himself with a jolt of surprise. He sped off at a fast walk towars the stadium. As Sanji entered the gate and into the room of registration, he noticed that there wre lots of people signing up as well. Two-thirds the guys there were big and muscular, but the others seemed either slightly muscular or just had a normal physique.

Sanji walked up to the desk, where he was asked a series of questions by the man behind the desk.

"Alright, then." the man said, "Please take a seat. We'll announce who will make it into the trials of Colosso in about an hour."

Sanji walked over to a vacant seat and sat down, the excitement of Colosso filling his mind.

[Blue]

As Levi was looking out to the shrine, He noticed some one running up some stairs. "Was that Sanji?" Levi asked to himself. He hurried after Sanji to see what he was up to. When Levi got there he stood in amazement. "Woa, that building is huge!" He exclaimed. A large man came up behind him. "Ah, first time seeing Colloso eh?" He asked in a deep tone.
Levi turned around to see who was talking. "Colloso? Oh, yeah, I heard about it. Isn't there a tournement of sorts going on right now?" Levi remembered after a conversation with Sanji back in Vault.
"Oh yes, its a grand event. You look like a pretty good warrior yourself, maybe you should sign up!" The man stated.
"Well, sounds like fun, but I don't think I have time for it this year." Levi didn't really like the idea of fighting of sport though.
"Well, thats too bad. I bet I could have made a killing betting off of you." Turning around, the man walked off.
"Betting? Hmmm, if Sanji went and signed up..." Levi ran up the betting booth's, pulling out a small bag.

[Lightning Star]

Icelia woke up, rubbing her eyes. She rolled sleepily over on her side, then sat up lazily in bed. "Where...oh right." She faintly remembered Levi carrying her in, then...nothing. Just deep sleep.

"no new revelations." she yawned, pulling her legs out of bed first, then the rest of her body, trying to wake up. After fixing her clothes and attempting to look half-way decent after her long and not to mention rough journey across the karagol sea. She pulled her hair out of her regular bunned pig-tails, allowing her blue hair to fall freely against her back. She massaged the back of her neck, trying to relax the stiff and painful muscles caused by the hard bed. Better than that rocky boat. She was just glad to be back on land.

Walking out into the busy lobby after getting a bite to eat, she smiled at the familiar scenery.

"Icy, is that you?" A blonde haired young lady about Icelia's age approached her.

"Shira! Hi!" Icy turned and gave the other female a hug, smiling, "How've you been?"

"I'm doing great! What brings you back to Tolbi?"

"I'm on a little adventure with some friends."

"I thought that was you. I saw that handsome guy that carried you in here." Shira nudged the blue haired one with a smirk.

Icy blushed, "Yeah, I came back to see Hama. Do you know if she's returned yet?"

"Yestereday. She's staying at the mayor's place." Shira told her.

"Oh really?" Icy raised a thin eyebrow

"Yeah, she helped save his son with her predictions, so he's welcomed her at his place. Seeing as this place is pretty much booked, she had to resort to his hospitality."

"Huh, well, I guess I'll go see her. It was good to see you!"

"Yeah, you too! Let me know when the wedding's going to be!" The blonde called, carrying a serving tray in front of her as she walked away.

"Shira!" Icy blushed brighter as she yelled after her friend. Laughing, she turned to exit the hotel.

Walking around the familiar town, Icy made her way to the Mayor's mansion, only to find a certain purple-haired wind adept waiting outside.

"Icelia, I've been expecting you."

"Yeah, I figured." Icy laughed, "so then you know about this?" she began to pull out the mercury star, but was stopped.

"Not here. There are those who seek to steal it from you."

"Folcon?"

"Not him. He wants the same thing as you: to see the lighthouses re-lit. It's Thane. He knows Levi has the mars star, but his conscience is the only thing keeping him from taking it. You need to gather Thane and Folcon, and have a discussion with both. You will find that if you join together, you can accomplish your goal."

"Hama...what is an Avian?"

"The avians are an ancient race of people, much like the Lemurians. They warred a long time ago, nearly anhiliating each other."

"So that's why..." she pondered, then looked up at hama, "I had a vision of him attacking a man named Piers. He had hair like mine, blue, and he was a mercury adept. Levi said I might be a lemurian...is that correct?"

Hama nodded, "Yes Icelia...you are a Lemurian."

"But the Lemurian's lived a long time. I was only assuming that I'm roughly 17-18...this means I could be hundreds of years old?!" Icy nearly lost it.

"Time means little to Lemurians. If you had been born of normal race, you would be the age you predict. Do not fret over this small detail. You can still love him."

Icelia crossed her arms, "You read my mind, didn't you!"

Hama chuckled, "Don't worry. As for Folcon, he has forgiven Levi and does not wish harm toward him or you. He just wants you two to accept him."

Icelia gaped, "Oh...and I was such a jerk to him..."

"Perhaps it was instinct. The Lemurians and Avians didn't get along well." Hama turned her head to the side, "Have you gained any of your memory back?"

Icy nodded, "Bits and pieces." She told Hama about the little girl and her mother. Icelia looked up at the sky, "Do you think she's still alive?"

"Even I do not know." Hama sighed.

"Hm...I only wish I could remember more." Icy sighed.

[Folcon]

Folcon led the others down the hill back toward the inn he was staying at and went up to the room.

"So what are we going to now?" Kalis asked.

"Right now, we're going to rest. We need a few days to regain our strength after last night's events. Besides, Colosso starts in a few days. It might be fun to watch."

"Think we could try to enter?" Marth asked.

"We could try, I hear they are running two tournaments this year. The typical solo run matches, and for the first time, a team tournament. It might be fun to see what we can do. Although, the team tounament ends with the partners facing eachother for the right to fight in an exibition match against the winner of the solo tournament."

"It does sound exciting," Kalis said. "But I'd rather watch instead."

"That's fine. Marth, I bet we could do fine."

"But what about keeping your secret?"

Folcon just grinned, "If those that wish to kill me see how well I fight, it might diswaid them from attacking us."

"If your sure," Marth said. "But damn, you seem a lot more cheerfull today."

"Speaking with my mother, it feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Come on, let's try to get registered."

Marth nodded and followed Folcon out the inn and out into the streets of Tolbi with Kalis close behind. After a few paces, Marth saw Folcon covertly shift is coin pouch to a different location, replacing it with a different pouch, which, Marth realized, was filled with small rocks. Marth had no real conerns about his one coin pouch, it was secured beneath his shirt against his chest, and had an extra tye on it just in case. Which was a good thing, because soon a few gutter brats ran into Folcon and tried to steal said pouch. Folcon, of course caught them and must have given them a hell of a look, because they took of running like the hounds of Hades were after them.

Marth just shook his head in vauge amusment, yes, folcon was defenatly in a good mood. Normaly, he would have grabed the kid, pinned them against a wall, a held a knife to thier throught while the child begged for mercy. Marth was glad Folcon was in a good mood right now.

After a few more minutes, they arrived at the massive colosium where Colloso was being held.

"Can I help you," a man behind a table said.

"My friend and I would like to entre Colloso, we hear there is a team tournament this year and we would like to take part."

The man nodded and said, "Names."

"Folcon of Hesperia and Marth of Kalay," Folcon replied.

"And him," the man said, pointing at Kalis.

"He needs a ticket to Colloso," Folcon replied.

The man nodded and said, "The entry fee for the tournament is 500 coins each, tickets are 1000 coins each, so your total fees amount to 2000 coins. As contestents, you will be able to watch the other matchs from the combatants seats."

Folcon nodded and handed over the coins and receaved the ticket and two pendents with a matching number on them that signified them as contestants. "Thank you very much."

The man nodded and said, "You're only registered kid, you still have to make it throught the prelims. Although looking at you, I don't think it will be a problem."

Folcon just nodded and led the way to the collosim.

[Blue]

Walking contently away from the betting booths, Levi began to look around at the sights.
He saw a what looked like a Mansion. "Wow, nice house..." Levi then noticed two people in front of it, talking away. "Huh, wait, isn't that... Icy?" He smiled and ran up the stairs leading to the mansion. He gave a small wave and stood next to Icy. "Hi there, nice to see your awake. are you feeling refreshed now?"
Icy nodded. "Yeah, it was better than that ship we were on. Oh, this is a good friend of mine. Levi this is Master Hamma."
"It's good to meet you Levi." She said, bowing to him. Levi thought it was odd, but he bowed back. "It's nice to meet you too."

Master Hamma slowly turned to Icy. "So Icy, tell me about what lead to you coming here?" She asked.
"Oh, its a really long story, you see..." She started talking, but suddenly Levi couldn't hear her.
Huh, whats going on...
"Levi, listen to me." It sounded like Hamma, but her lips weren't moving at all. "Do not be alarmed, I'm a masterful Jupiter Adapt, I can speak into your mind. I'm doing this so I don't scare Icelia. The creature inside of you is starting to grow impatient. I believe it's wanting to take over soon. You must find a way to suppress him. Do not fear though, your friend Folcon has a way. When Icelia is done with her story, take her to the shrine and talk with Folcon."
Levi nodded and turned back to Icy, who became audible once again.

[Folcon]

Folcon and Marth made rapid head way through the qualifying rounds. As it turned out, there was not much need to narrow down the field of teams, only thirteen teams were signed up, and only eight were needed. Within an hour, three teams were eliminated. What surprised Folcon the most, was not that several teams were at least twice their age, i.e. Marth's age, but that only one other team had two contestants, the rest had anywhere from three to eight team mates. Evidently there was no limit to the size of a team.

"This will make it interesting once the tournament starts," Folcon said quietly to Marth.

Marth just nodded and watched as the next team started thier task to qualify for the tournament. But as Folcon observed, the larger the team, the more challenging the qualifing tasks. At first, Folcon didn't think it fair, but when he saw the larger teams also had trouble getting along, he understood that part of the challenge was to test the teamwork in a team. Folcon just grinned. Thier first challenge had been fairly eaisy for them. They were pitted agianst two of the stronger contestants from last year's Colloso, the champ, whom Folcon learned was Issac, couldn't make it. The two were good, but they lacked the years of teamwork that Folcon and Marth shared.

As thier second task, as it turned out, was a test of strength, not a problem at all.

Finnaly, the field was down to eight teams. Folcon and Marth were seeded as number 6, another two man team was ranked number 7, a three man team ranked at 8, a second three man team rankd 5, a four man team ranked 4, the only eight man team ranked at 3, a five man team ranked 2 and a six man team ranked 1.

"This will be interesting indeed," Folcon mused aloud as he, Marth and Kalis walked out of the stadium.

Soon they had arrived at the small inn. "Oh, Master Folcon," the innkeeper said as they walked in.

"What can I do for you?" Folcon asked.

"I letter arrived for you. I was told to make sure you got it," the man said, holding up a slim envolope.

Folcon accepted the letter and took it to thier room. He sat down and pulled out a dagger and used it to slice open the seal, which he noticed, bore the letters 'MH' on it. Pulling the letter from the envolope, he opened it to read.

It was very short and to the point.

Dear Folcon,

As soon as you read this, go to the Old Shrine. There you will meet Levi. Go as soon as you can and talk with him.

You will also meet a young man there. Take him with you and watch over him.

Stuffing the letter into his bag, Folcon stood up and moved to the door. "I'm going out for a while. You two get some rest."

Folcon then left the inn and hurried toward the Shrine, nonpulssed by that fact that Master Hamma knew which inn he was staying at, or when he would be getting back. She always was an interesting person, Folcon thought, mentaly adding her to the short list of people he would trust with his life.

"Everyone, may I have your attention, please!"

Sanji turned his head towards the registration desk, where a young lady was calling out to the room.

The woman went on, "We, as in we the staff, have all looked over each person's application. We have the results of who made it in posted on that far wall."

In an instant, most people in the room hurried excitedly over to the piece of parchment nailed to the wall adjacent to Sanji. Sanji took his time walking to the front of the crowd, craning his head to try to get a better look. He saw his name on the paper, so Sanji couldn't help but grin widely. The two guys that Sanji saw on the boat to tolbi, Sean and Ouranos, were punching the air in triumph over their achievement.

The young lady who announced the results was smiling at the reactions of all the people in the room. She cleared her throat, then said, "Remember: the Trials start in one week. Be sure to rest up well for that day. Good luck to all of you who made it!"

Everyone filed out of the room and back to the main part of Tolbi, some jubilant, some extremely angry, and some who didn't really express much emotion at all. Sanji decided to try his luck at the Magic Fountain, since he had a couple lucky Medals he found during his journey.

Sanji stepped in front of the fountain, and all the water drained as he approached. He turned his back to the fountain like he was supposed to, and threw the Lucky Medal in.

The medal hit nothing as it spun around and landed in the middle circle. The dragon's head appeared from the back of the fountain and dropped a light blade in sanji's hands.

A man nearby looked at Sanji's new sword with wide eyes. "So, you won an Assassin's Blade, huh? Good job, I hear that blade's a monster sometimes."

Sanji replied with a "Thanks." and leaned against a nearby wall. I did it. Sanji thought happily to himself, I'm gonna be in Colosso...^.^

[Folcon]

Folcon arrived at the Shrine in short order. Looking around, he say nobody near. As he approached the doors to the Shrine, he heard a soft voice come from inside. Opening the door slightly and looking inside, Folcon saw a young boy with blond hair, knelt before the statue inside the shrine, crying softly. He opened the door more and slipped inside, closing the door softly behind him. He quitely made his across the Shrine and stepped up behind the boy, and knelt down. "Are you okay?" he asked softly.

The boys started, falling backward and struggling at his belt to pull out a short sword. Folcon quickly stepped back, keeping his hands in sight of the boy. "Stay back," the boy said, finally getting his sword out.

Takeing another step back, Folcon hastily said, "I mean no harm. I was just walking up here when I heard something inside this Shrine, so I came to check it out. I found you inside and was concerned when I saw you crying. I don't want any touble, I swear."

The boy, he was only about fifteen or so, quickly wipped a tear from his face and glared at Folcon.

"Can you at least tell me your name, or why your here in this shrine?" Folcon asked.

The boy looked at him and said, "My name's Ivan. I...I came to this Shrine to pray for my dead master, Master Hamet, the late leader of Kalay."

A touch of comprehention dawned on Folcon and he knelt down, "I'm sorry for your lose Ivan. I'm sure you carried about him greatly." Ivan nodded and Folcon went on, "My name is Folcon, I came to this Shrine to meet someone. A friend of mine. But I was also told I would meet a young man here. And that I should look put for him. Or at least, thats what Master Hamma's letter said."

Ivan looked up, "You know my sister?"

"If Master Hamma is your sister, then yes, I know her. Not well, but she is one of the few I would trust with my life."

This seemed to ease Ivan's concerns. "Can you take me to her?" he asked.

"I honestly don't know," Folcon said, getting up and walking toward the statue in the shrine. He softly said a prayer and turned around. At that moment, there was a knock on the door to the shrine and it slide open. Standing there was Levi and Icelia. "I wondered when you'd show up. This is Ivan, I just meet him here. Ivan these are the friends I was expecting."

[Aquamarine]

Thane walked slowly through the city of Tolbi, trying to empty his mind. He saw Sanji, Folcon and even Levi going from one place to another but didn't want to speak to any of them. Finally deciding he should relax a bit, like the people around him, he went over to one of the small houses to have a go at Lucky Dice. He had always known it was there, but never bothered to play it. Actually, he hadn't done anything fun in over five years...

He entered the crowded hut and read the sign twice to completely understand the rules. The guy said it was 340 coins to play. Thane said that was a rip-off but payed nonetheless. The man gave him two dice and he walked over to the table where he was supposed to throw them.

He tossed them and they bounced off the edges of the table. Nothing. All four numbers were completely different. He tried again. He got a double pair, two threes, and won 340 coins. He smiled and tossed the 'lucky' dice again. Again all four numbers were different.

After about fifteen minutes of throwing dice and cheering from the people around him that weren't playing, he had lost quite a bit of cash. He didn't care though, as he was laughing and having fun for the first time in years. He pulled back his pink hair and threw the dice again. He got a triple!

He left the game room after spending way too much of his money. He was smiling and thinking to himself that he had managed to forget about all his worries; he had forgotten about the Elemental Stars, the fact that Akafubu's or somebody else's people could be looking for him right now, and his long-lost sister, who he has been searching for years. As he remembered all this, he had a sudden urge to go back and play just a little more of Lucky Dice, but decided not to, as he needed the rest of his money.

[Blue]

As soon as Icy finished Hamma smiled softly. "I'm glad you were able to make it here saftly. Now if you two will excuse me, I must be going now. I have a few things to attend to." She walked to the door and opened it. She turned and waved real fast and went in.
"Bye Master Hamma!" Icy yelled after her. Levi just waved back.
"Hey, there was something I wanted to show you, theres this shrine I heard about and everyone says its really nice." He pointed in the direction of the shrine.
"Hmmm, sounds like a good idea." Icy said, smiling. They started walking off towards the shrine. I wonder why Hamma wants us to go there, and why wouldn't she tell Icy?
Figuring it wasn't too important, he was actually happy that he got to spend a little alone time with Icy. He was wondering if he should say anything, but he was actually just enjoying her just being there. He grinned and took a deep breath.
"Hmmm, the Shrine wasn't as far as I thought it was." Levi stated, seeing that they were already approaching it. They soon came across a door. "Well, shall we go in?" He asked, holding the door open for Icy. She nodded and stepped inside. Following behind her, he soon noticed Folcon, Marth, Kalis, and also a boy with blonde hair.

"I wondered when you'd show up. This is Ivan, I just meet him here. Ivan these are the friends I was expecting." Folcon said as they walked in.
"Eh? You were expecting us?" Levi asked in a confused tone. Folcon nodded and handed him a letter.
"Master Hamma sent me a letter telling me you would come."
Levi let out a small sigh. Dang, she's good. "Yeah, she told me to come here with Icy."
Icy quickly turned to Levi, "What? when was this?"
"Errr, when you were talking about the trip, she sent me a message, telling me to come here, didn't she tell you too?"
Icy looked a little upset. "No, I don't see why she wouldn't though. Thats very odd."

"You know my sister too?" Ivan asked Levi.

"I met her a long time ago. She taught me prediction a while back to help me on a 'future journey'. I'm assuming that this is what she was talking about."

"Journey..." Ivan closed his eyes, and she soon felt someone peering into her thoughts, diging up memories of the past events. "They were lit...I was there to see all of the lighthouses lit. Why do you have the elemental stars?"

"That's what we're trying to figure out." Icy explained.

[Folcon]

Ivan turned toward Folcon and Folcon could feel the boy tring to read his mind.

"Stay out of my head Ivan, you might not like what you see."

"I can't see anything in your mind."

"Of course not, I've spent years training my mind to prevent it."

Folcon turned back toward Icylie and said, "I want to know, why do you seem to hate me so. I'd rather you tell me then make me drag it from your mind."

Walking around Tolbi, Thane noticed the large and spectacular Colosso arena. He had been many a time in Tolbi, but never really payed any attention to this grand structure. He walked into the registration room, and was slightly surprised to see that not many people were inside. He guessed that registration for participating in Colosso was over, but went over to the counter to check.

The man said that registration was indeed closed. Thane thought about how he had never bothered to enter Colosso even though he had the chance many times to do so, and felt a little disappointed that he wasn't quick enough to register this year. Looking forward to watching the warriors fight, he bought a ticket instead. "Colosso will begin in a few days, once the preliminaries are over," the man said. Thane nodded and walked out of the building.

(OOC: Blue will be gone for the next five days. He didn't say what we should do with his character, but I'm guessing Icy will control him)

((Whoo! I finally finished reading this whole thing from the beginning. What a workout!))

"You're renting your armor?" a young, lightly built man asked his companion.

The other nodded. "I don't normally fight with this heavy stuff. It would only burden me."

The first man was tall, with short brown hair and an almost permanent grin. He casually equipped his armor, noticing his friend's pensive demeanor. "What's on your mind, Darkrai?"

The more muscular, dark-haired man gave a start. "Oh, nothing." He quickly changed the subject. "What are your plans for after Colosso, Tairn?"

Tairn replied, "My family will be watching us fight. Afterwards, I'll meet up with them and return home for a time." It seemed as if an idea just occurred to him. "Hey... what are you going to do, Darkrai?"

"I'll be continuing my travels," the dark-haired man said.

"Ohh... so this is goodbye, then?" Tairn asked sadly.

"Not until after Colosso!" Darkrai reminded him.

Tairn laughed and the pair finished equipping their armor. They walked to a somewhat secluded area of the city (at least, it wasn't as crowded) and decided that it would be a good place to practice. Darkrai started to put his helmet on, but Tairn stopped him. "Let's leave them here," he said as he moved his helm to the side. "Sometimes, passerby will throw money in if they like how we spar."

Darkrai put his helmet next to Tairn's, but asked, "Who throws money in a helmet?"

"I have no clue!" said Tairn. They laughed and prepared to spar.

"I sensed danger around you. It seemed like you wished ill for us, and..." she paused, "It may also be from our pasts. I just found out from Master Hamma that I am of Lemurian Descent. She explained to me that Avians and Lemurians didn't get along well. So maybe it's some grudge within, but I'm willing to put that aside to work together."

She tucked a bit of her hair behind her ear as Ivan stood up. "You're a lemurian too?"

"You know someone else?"

"Yeah, someone I traveled with when we lit the light houses. His name was Piers."

Icy looked back at Folcon. "I had a vision that you were attacking him a few days ago...is this correct?"

[Folcon]

Folcon frowned. "To be more precise, he attacked me. I was only defending myself. But he's fine, a few bruises, a broken bone maybe," Folcon pulled out his sakabato and showed to Icelia. "It's hard to kill with a reversed edge sword. I talked to him latter, and our conflict is settled. Now I just hope the rest of the people of Lemuria can let the past go."

Folcon walked over to one of the benches that lined the side of the Shrine and sat down. "There are things we need to talk about, concerning Levi, you, and everyone else. Tell me," Folcon said, reaching into his jacket and pulling out the Dawn and Dusk Stars and showing them to those gathered. "Have you heard of the Twin Lighthouses?"

"Sounds familiar, but I can't say I have for sure." she pondered.

"I think I've heard of them..." Levi nodded, "But where are they? Could that be why we have the elemental stars?"

"I know what they are suppose to do," Folcon said. "But I don't know where they are. I don't know if they even still stand. It is possible they have long since been consumed by Gaia Falls. But I should back up a little. The Twin Lighthouses, are actually a single lighthouse, but with two beacons, Luna and Sol. These two beacons, unlike the other four, don't govern an element, but the powers of light and darkness. To be more exact, the Twin Lighthouses are meant to serve as balance between light and darkness, or, good and evil, if you want to look at it that way. It is possible, that by lighting them, the restoration of the world can begin, after the other Lighthouses have been relight. I know it sounds strange that I know all this about them, yet know not where they are. But I think I know where I can find the answers with a little research. As for why the Golden Sun didn't form properly in the first place, I can think of two possibilities. Both possible causes were in Mt. Aleph at the time. The powerful Psynergy probably hindered the proper forming. Anyway, I think, how do I say this. Levi, you or I may be responsible."

"What?" Levi asked, looking thunderstruck.

Folcon just went on. "Like I said, there were two great sources of power in Mt. Aleph. One was, a Sage's Stone I had placed there for safe keeping fifty years ago. I had stolen it from Lemuria three hundred years ago. *sigh* In the process, I inadvertently killed ten people. That was why Piers attacked me. But the stone is gone now. In an effort to make amends with Piers, I destroyed it. Although that wasn't the only treasure I took with me," Folcon said, taking out the green Memory Stone. "This stone is a Memory Stone. They were used by the ancient races to store vast amounts of knowledge for safekeeping. As far as I know, this is the only one left in existence."

"But how does this involve Levi," Icelia asked.

Folcon turned toward Levi and asked, "What do you recall of your past?"

Thane walked slowly back to the inn. It was becoming quite dark already, and he felt like he needed a good nights sleep. On the way he heard a faint clunking noise and then another. It sounded like two weapons clashing against each other. He walked down the street from where the sound was coming.

As the sound grew louder, he saw two people sparring. They seemed to be pretty good with their weapons, so Thane watched them a little while. Curious as to why their helmets were on the ground, he noticed a few coins in each of them. Thane opened one of his satchels and threw a couple of coins into both helmets.

Suddenly, Thane saw from the corner of his eye spiky red hair. Wishing he hadn't left his bo staff in the inn, Thane span around to see who it was. Nobody was there. Hmm, must be my imagination. he thought.

"Hey, are you two taking part in Colosso?" he asked the two men, turning towards them again. A few people have gathered behind Thane to watch the two spar.

At first, Darkrai and Tairn did not attract too much attention because Darkrai was not used to dueling in such heavy armor. However, he quickly got the hang of it. Soon, he was battling as if he was not wearing armor at all. After a while, a small group of people gathered to watch. A young man stepped forward from the group and asked, "Hey, are you two taking part in Colosso?"

Darkrai and Tairn decided that it would be a good time to take a breather. They stopped dueling, but neither sheathed their sword. "We are," gasped Darkrai.

"You *huh* look like *huh* *huh* a warrior yourself." said Tairn. "Are you *huh* taking part too?"

[Aquamarine]

"No, I was too late to register," Thane said, "I'll be watching all the battles however, so..." he stopped as he began feeling a bit worried. Something dawned on him, "I've got to go now. I'll see you at the colosseum once the tournament begins, maybe even earlier. Good luck," he said as he walked away from the two warriors.

It was pretty dark as Thane made his way back to the inn. The moon shone over Tolbi and cast a beautiful light over the great city. The famous fountain glinted and sparkled as he walked by it.

Taking his key out of one of his satchels, he unlocked his room. Some of the people he was sharing with were already there, and they greeted him as he walked in. "Hello," he replied and walked quickly to his bed. He checked whether his staff was where he left it, and sat on the bed, turning his back towards the others. Once again, he opened one of his satchels and pulled out a map. He opened it up and laid it on his knees.

The candle light flickered over the map of Weyard. Thane's bright yellow eyes peered slowly across it. Many of the locations had a circle around them, drawn there by Thane and meaning that he had been there in his search for Alena, his sister. Only a few places were unmarked, including SW Atteka Islet and parts of Tundaria. He had even searched Lemuria and both of the lighthouses near Prox. Since finding out the secrets of the Elemental Stars he hadn't given the search and his sister one thought.

Thinking that she was probably dead, and feeling depressed, he clambered into bed and tried to sleep.

Darkrai saw the young man walk away and realized that he would not forget him. His slightly pink hair and yellow eyes left too deep of an impression on him. He looked over at Tairn instead, who said, "Go?" Darkrai breathed, "Yeah" and they began to spar again. They practiced until the sun went down.

Once night fell, they sheathed their swords and picked up their helmets. "Not a bad haul," Tairn commented.

"A lot more than what I was expecting," said Darkrai. They transferred the coins to their money bags, splitting it 50/50. They then headed for their hotel room.

They both removed their armor and immediately, Tairn flopped down on his bed. Darkrai stood at the window, looking out over the city.

Tairn turned on his side toward Darkrai. "Is it true that you've been traveling for two years and have only been to Tolbi once?"

Darkrai nodded. "I have traveled the seas and seen many continents. Often times, I retrace my path, depending on where the group I am with is traveling. I did not end up in Angara very often." he sighed and gazed past the city, to the lands beyond. "The world is an enormous place." he said.

"So is Tolbi." added Tairn. Then he laughed. "If you're going to see something more than once, it'd better be Colosso."

"The other time I was here, Colosso was not in session." replied Darkrai.

"Sheesh, you've really got to see the world!" murmured Tairn.

Darkrai turned toward him. "I'm trying!" he protested.

There was a brief silence, then they both burst into laughter. Darkrai finally went to his bed.

"What are our plans for tomorrow?" asked Tairn.

"Training," replied Darkrai.

"Figures. Goodnight."

"Goodnight"

Sanji decided to take a short walk around Tolbi before calling it a night and going to bed. He walked down the steps of the main entrance and started to walk around.

It was only about 5 minutes before a burst of flame occured in front of Sanji. Sanji sheilded his eyes as the same hooded figure he saw at the Lunpa Foretress appeared right in front of him.

"Ok, kid." the man started. "Why don't you hand the katana over to me? I require it."

Sanji chuckled a little. "You honestly expect me--" he held up the mysterious purple katana he had with him, "--to give this to you? Sorry, but you won't be able to take this from me without force."

In a split second, Sanji barely dodged the hooded man's spear thrust. Sanji swung his katana, which had started to glow, at the man, who effortlessly blocked the slash with his spear. The moment the clash ensued, an air blade was quickly released from the katana, forcing the hooded man to sidestep out of the way in surprise. The air blade tore open part of the man's cloak, causing a glowing golden-yellow orb to fall out.

The Venus Star.

Sanji dove forward and picked it up. He then swung his katana at the air, throwing another air blade at the man. Before the blade could make contact, though, the hooded man disappeared in another flash of fire.

Trembling in anxiety and relief, Sanji booked back towards the city, the Venus Star gripped tightly in his hand.

Everyone's basically at Tolbi.
-Icy and Levi are talking with Folcon and Ivan. Folcon was explaining the existence of two lighthouses called the Twin Lighthouses, with the power of Sol and Luna, which govern Light and dark.
-Thane, Darkrai, and Tairn are resting at the Inn right now. They've been looking around town.
-Sanji just retrieved the Venus Star after losing sight of it earlier. He's going to participate in Colosso.
-Everyone who has a star hasn't done anything with them. They're all just holding on to them for now.

That's the best I can explain of the current situation at the moment. =P

Thane woke up with a start. He felt completely awake, as if he hadn't slept at all. He looked at the people sharing his room. Most of them were already slumbering. Looking out the window at the sky he could see it wasn't very late. He had been asleep for only about half an hour. He got up and walked toward the window, peering across the streets of Tolbi. Slightly shocked, he saw somebody standing in the darkness outside, illuminated by the moonlight. It was the cloaked woman Thane had met at the start of this journey, back in Lunpa.

Guessing it was her who somehow woke him up so suddenly, he walked quickly out of the inn to where she was standing. As he approached her, she walked away, and the faster Thane walked the faster she moved. The streets of Tolbi were completely deserted. All he did was follow her until she stopped close to the shrine that was in town. She turned round to face him. As she did so, Thane felt lighthearted, as if a heavy weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

"I told you all you should know about the Elemental Stars," she told him, "Why haven't you retrieved them? There are three Elemental Stars in there," she said, pointing to where the shrine stood, "and the fourth is also in this town."

Thane looked at the person standing before him. He couldn't see her face. She wore a cloak over her head, but the darkness beneath it was not natural. "There are three Stars in that shrine?" Thane said, greatly surprised at this information, "Wow, what are the chances? I don't care about taking them anymore though. The Orbs can remain in there for all I care."
"But who are you and why do you keep helping me get the Elemental Stars?" Thane asked.

"I... do not truly know the answers to either of those questions," the woman replied, "I do this because you are the only person I feel even slight emotions for. I do not remember who I was before becoming what I am now. A Shadow Soldier."

"You're a Shadow Soldier? You are a warrior of the army who seeks to find the Elemental Stars? I know much of you. You are the people cursed to forever have no feelings, no memories, and to only serve your master. Your master being a 'close friend' of mine..." But Thane suddenly stopped talking. Beneath the hood of the person he was talking to, two eyes opened. Two beautiful blood-red eyes, extremely visible through the magical darkness that covered her face.

As he saw this, he put two and two quickly together. After a few moments he said, "Alena?"

Blinking, the woman said, "What was that? What did you say?"

Thane took a step closer. "Alena, I can't believe it... My sister, it's you... Finally, after so many years," he said, and ran forward, his arms outstretched and a wide smile on his face.

Suddenly, a cloud of smoke appeared and he ran through it. Swinging around wildly, looking for his sister, the smoke vanished, and so did she.

"What?" Thane said, spinning left and right, trying to see her somewhere. But she was gone. "No... NOOOO!!" he screamed at the top of his voice. His shriek echoed throughout Tolbi. "Where are you!?" he continued yelling, still searching crazily, "Come back! No... Don't go! Why are you doing this!? Please don't leave me again! Please..." and with this he fell to his knees, put his face into his hands, and wept uncontrollably.

[Folcon]

Before Levi could respond, an anguished cry sounded from right outside the Shrine. Folcon was first to the door, tucking the Memory Stone back into his pocket. Looking outside, Folcon saw the same man that had summoned the gryphons earlier, on his knees, weeping uncontrolably.

Ria awoke with a start. She quickly grabbed her staff and rushed outside, where she heard a painful cry.

The atmosphere around the shrine felt unusually thick and unpleasant, as if inviting its visitors to turn back.

“Where are you!?” The figure trembling on the ground yelled, waving his hands in the air like a mad man. "Come back! No... Don't go! Why are you doing this!? Please don't leave me again! Please..."
He who was in a state of berserk has finally lost it, and fell on his knees.

The shrine door cracked open and out came an unordinary man.
No, unordinary is an understatement, for he carries a completely different scent from humans. However, he seems to be at lost when he saw the weeping man.

Deciding that he was not a foe for the time being, Ria stepped out of the shadowed corner of Tolbi and kneeled down beside the man who she thought was a “cry baby”.

“Alena, sister, A-alena…” Were all that came out of Thane’s mouth. Ria tried to lift his head to take a closer look at his tear-filled face, but he instinctively slapped her hand away.

His golden eyes were enough to remind Ria that they have met once before. Ria began to stare into space, shuffling ideas through her head.

“OW!” The green-hair, yellow-eyed boy whined, sobbing widely on the floor.
“Rio! I told you to not over do it.” A what seemed like a younger version of Ria yelled softly. “Just look at yourself. Now stay still so I can treat your wound.”
“I want to be strong like father! So one day, I can protect you and mom.” The injured boy replied proudly, after making another failed attempt to get up.
“Uwah!” He went on crying after seeing blood on Ria’s hands.
“Hey, now.” The green-eyed girl let go of the bandages and embraced his little brother. “It’s okay.” She stroked his head gently.

Rio fell asleep soundly moments later.

“A sister… huh.”

Silently, Reveria dropped her staff and wrapped her arms around Thane, petting him on the head lightly. Soon, she began singing a lullaby she never realized she knew.

[Folcon]

Seeing that the strange girl had gotten the pink-haired monster tamer to calm down somewhat, Folcon turned back to Icy and Levi and said, "It's late. Let's talk more tomorrow." He then walked off toward the small inn with Ivan running after him. Glancing down, he asked, "Why are you following me?"

Ivan, now keeping pace, said, "Master Hamma asked you to look after me didn't she. Not that I need it. And if that's the case, than I need to stay with you." Folcon kept walking, mumbling something about strays and how he was getting too soft-hearted. "What was that?" Ivan asked.

Folcon glared at the boy from the corner of his eye and said, "I said need to stop takeing in strays, its making me too soft-hearted."

"What's wrong with being nice?" Ivan asked.

"Are you really as ignorant as you sound," Folcon asked, pushing the door to the inn open and waiting for Ivan to enter.

The innkeeper glanced over and raised an eyebrow. Folcon tossed a small pouch of coins on the counter and sighed, "I guess it lodging for four now." He then tromped up the stairs and went into the room. Inside, Marth and Kalis were still awake, sitting at the table playing cards.

"You've been out late," Marth said, without looking up.

"Who's the kid?" Kalis asked, with bairly a glance.

"Just some kid. Ivan, that's Marth and the guy in blue is Kalis. There's another bed over there."

Folcon then walked over and looked at the table to see what game the two were playing. "What's this," he asked, indicating the game.

"Some game Kalis is teaching me. Called Rummy."

Folcon nodded and walked over to a bed, good thing there were four in the room. "Don't stay up too late." He sat down, stretched out, and was soon asleep.

Thane slowly regained control over his thoughts. He only noticed Ria after wiping his eyes with one of his arms. He didn't feel even slightly embarrassed by what had just happened, but he sure as hell did wonder who this girl was.

"Um... Excuse me," he said to Ria and pulled himself free of her embrace without even a glance at her. As he looked around himself he saw the backs of Folcon and some short kid walk away. Turning to where the shrine was, he saw Icy and Levi looking at him and the girl standing next to him. Pushing his hair out of his eyes, he pointed at the two and said, "I need a serious discussion with you two." As much as he would like to search Tolbi for his sister, and as much as he would love to pay the Shadow Soldiers' leader a visit, he knew he had to speak with them now, while he still had the chance.

As he took a few steps closer to them, he stopped and turned around. Looking Ria in the eye, he said quite bluntly, "Who the heck are you?"

[R-dog]

All around is cold darkness, pressing against me.
I can't move. I can't breathe.
Pain. So much pain all around me.
The darkness pulses rhythmically, like a beating heart.
That's where I am...
I'm inside my parent's heart...
Darkrai woke from his nightmare and sat up quickly. His body was cold, but it was covered in hot sweat. Shaking, he quietly got out of bed, grabbed his coat and made his way to the exit. He desperately needed air.

Once he was outside, he immediately felt better. He felt the cool night breeze and discovered that the night was slightly chilly. Donning his coat, he headed to the edge of the city. In the street, he noticed the pink-haired man from before, kneeling on the ground, talking with a girl. Darkrai hesitated briefly, wondering if he should go over and talk to him. He decided not to, opting to practice his psynergy instead. With any luck, it would relieve some of his pent-up stress as well.

He casually made his way to the outside of the city walls and, spying a thick clump of grass, he aimed for it.

"Punji," he said. Bamboo spears erupted from the ground, tearing apart the grass and scattering pieces of it over a small radius.

"Damn," hissed Darkrai. He knew he was about to master a more powerful version of this spell; he could feel it. He kept trying to perform it for a week now, but it seemed like he was missing something.

He gave it another shot. Focusing on another grass clump, he gritted his teeth and growled, "Punji!" A few more spears erupted this time, and he could tell that they were slightly sharper. But he could also tell that he did not quite perform the spell. He sighed, realizing that midnight was not the best time to practice psynergy. He was already feeling tired again. He headed back to the hotel, not caring if he was seen by the pink-haired man.

((I may be able to make one more post before I have to leave for my trip. So Aqua, please don't make anything major happen to our characters. Also PLEASE don't start Colosso without me! :P ))

Reveria pointed to herself and chuckled. "Good question. I don't even know anymore." She paused, "Lets just say... You woke a lady from her sleep." Ria took another pause, "It's all useless information if our paths never cross again, anyways."
That being said, Ria nodded lightly and excused herself.

"Fenrir?" Reveria spoke up when she made sure everyone was well out of sight.
"Yes ma'am, I was able to get his data." The gasly hound replied.
"Sweet, gimme a report on that." Ria smiled, satisfied.
"... ... ..."

[Blue]

Staring out into the streets, Levi wasn't sure what was going on. He was still thinking about this Twin Lighthouse. Power over light and dark, it sounds familiar, but I don't remember anything about it. He wasn't sure if he should go help Thane out or stay at the shrine with Icy. It looked like Folcon was already going to help him, so he stood there. My mind has been some what silent lately. Is he still here? Is he preparing for something? He then turned his attention to the young woman who was with Thane. Her aura was odd, and it made Levi uncomfortable. Suddenly, a word came to mind. He wasn't sure exactly what it meant, but for some reason he felt the urge to say it. "Ancients..."

Icy turned to him. "Ancients? Whats that?" Levi looked over with a confused expression.
"I'm not sure, just came out of no where. When I saw that girl, the word came to mind."

((R-Dog, we might start Colosso before you return, but we'll try to at least hold off most of it before you come back. Like Somia said, you can be in a later match-up. We'll at least try to prevent most of it, though. :P))

Sanji was lying on his bed, quickly summarizing to himself what had just happened mere minutes ago. The hodded man had come again, but due to a stroke of luck, Sanji managed to make him drop the Venus Star. Sanji opened his hand up to set his eyes on the glowing sphere that keeps the power of Earth in check. Sanji then pocketed it as he grabbed his purple katana, which had stopped glowing after his battle.

This is a disturbing sword... Sanji thought to himself. The sword had emitted air blades as it clashed with the hooded man's spear. Sanji assumed that the katana would probably release those air blades when it was glowing. Did it have any amazing power when it wasn't glowing...?

Pushing the thoughts temporarily from his mind, Sanji took the documents Lunpa had given him earlier, and began shuffling through them.

[Aquamarine]

A bit perplexed, Thane stared after the girl who had hugged him after the encounter with his sister. Shrugging, he turned to Icy and Levi and said, "Can we please go into the shrine where nobody can listen to us and talk?" They did as he asked and followed him into the building.

As the doors closed behind them, he turned towards the two people he had been traveling with. Frowning slightly, he thought quickly of how he should begin the conversation. He decided on telling them the whole truth behind his quest first.

"I began this journey after coming across my sister in Lunpa Fortress. Back then I didn't know she was my sister, and she told me some things about the Elemental Stars. She said that if they were in my hands, I would be able to unlock some extremely powerful hidden powers within them. I became momentarily obsessed with the idea of finding the Stars and controlling them, nothing else was on my mind for days after that. She also told me that some people heading for Kalay had them, and so my destination was clear.

"I arrived at Kalay and boarded the ship for Tolbi with you guys, after not finding those people in town. I learned to appreciate you and could see that you were not bad people. We helped each other out a couple of times, before I saw you, Levi, use the Mars Star against the Ice Serpent.

"That's when I started thinking... Never before had I wished to be very powerful, and although a few times I was so close to trying to steal the Mars Star from you, I decided not to. Now, my wish for having all the Elemental Stars, or even only one of them, has all but gone.

"But now I have to ask you some questions. There were four people in here just a few minutes ago, and three Elemental Stars. If Levi has one, who has the other two?"

[Lightning Star]

Icelia hesitated before responding, "I have the mercury star, and...Folcon has the Jupiter star." She cringed internally, feeling as if she shouldn't have said that."

"So it was you with the Blue aura..." Thane mused, "I remember at the inn in Kalay, I saw a room emitting a blue aura. I figured the Mercury star was there, but then when I woke up the next morning, it was gone."

"Levi and I have figured that something must have gone wrong when the light houses were lit. Folcon has been able to unearth the Dusk and Dawn elemental stars, so we, or at least I figure that they must be lit first in order to light the rest of them. Aparently Weyard is still eroding while more people are discovering alchemy. That includes the evils as well."

She let out a sigh. "My whole goal...my whole reason of being is to find out who I am and where I'm from. Now that Hama has told me that I'm a Lemurian, I want to go back there to possibly find my family...but..." she trailed off, "it seems that I have a larger task at hand...to light the lighthouses."

Icy looked at thane, "Perhaps you can join us and help us. Together with Folcon we could light them. We just need to find the Venus Star, and we're set."

[Aquamarine]

Thane looked into Icelia's cautious eyes and said, "I know what you mean. About wanting to go to Lemuria and seek your family, that is. My greatest wish now is to go and see the man whose fault it is my sister is a Shadow Soldier, and then continuing my search for her. I've been trying to find Alena for ten years... But I understand that lighting the lighthouses is more important than anything else at this moment."

He looked around the little shrine without taking in any of his surroundings. Then he continued, "I know where the Dawn Lighthouse is." He saw the look of surprise on Icy's and Levi's faces. "I was there a few years ago, whilst searching for Alena. It is not far to the north of Mars Lighthouse, suspended in mid-air over the gaping pit caused by the disappearance of the Elemental Stars. It cannot be seen from Weyard because of the dense, unnatural darkness that surrounds it. Also, finding the Venus Star will not be be much of a problem. I don't know who has it, but that person is here in Tolbi."

"But now, there is another important question that I must pose: do you know what Shadow Soldiers are?" Both Levi and Icelia said they didn't. "They are people kidnapped long ago and subjected to many tests and experiments during their years in captivity. All of them had been slowly transformed into almost lifeless creatures, with no memory of their pasts and no emotions. Once the transformation was fully complete, they were given hooded cloaks, usually black, that were to be worn at all times. They battle and roam the lands under the orders of their one master, an old acquaintance of mine... Babi."

He knew how the two would react. They looked at him with a confused expression on their faces. "But Babi is..." Icelia began but Thane cut across her.

"No, he is not dead. I have seen and spoken to him enough times since his so-called death that I can be positive he is alive and well. He wants the whole world to think he is deceased because he wants to escape his many enemies and rule from the darkness of deception. Not even his faithful servant Iodem knows that he lives still. I am one of few who know, because I am a skilled mercenary and often do jobs for him. He trusts me, and as long as he pays me handsomely for my services, he knows I will keep the truth to myself. Until tonight, that is, when I finally realised what had happened to me sister..."

Looking away from his companions, he said, "After I have helped you relight the Lighthouses, I am going to pay him a little visit... And I am going to torture him for hours before murdering him with pleasure."

His hands trembling slightly in an attempt to keep his anger hidden, he turned again to the two before him, "I think we should go when Colosso has finished," Thane said, taking his ticket out of his pocket, "Do you agree?"

[Lightning Star]

Icelia nodded, "I think that will be good. I'd like to see colosso again." she smiled.

"Again?" Thane asked.

"When I first began trying to find my family, I used to live here. In fact, I worked at the Inn we're all staying at. I've seen a few enough colloso's to know that they're really an extraordinary event."

They began to walk out of the shrine as she continued to talk, "I remember one challenger who got put in by the request of Babi. I think his name was Isaac...come to think of it...he must have been the one who lit the lighthouses. I should ask Ivan if he knows of him." she mused, "But anyways, I've been nearly a hundred places, seeking information from my past."

she suddenly fell silent, remembering what Folcon had said The memory stone...perhaps I can find some information about my past...why I'm here...alone...I should ask Folcon. But the memory stone sounds important. I doubt he'd let me use it...

"It seems we've all been banned together to complete one quest, while each of us have our own issues to deal with as well."

As dawn broke, Sanji got up from his bed and walked outside. I would still be another week until Colosso's trial matches would begin, so he decided to spend that week just relaxing and preparing for when that day comes.

Sanji tried his luck at the Lucky Spring again, receiving a Psy Crystal in the process. Since he didn't have the ability to use Psynergy, Sanji decided to just hang on to it and give it to someone who needed it.

Soon after, Sanji's thoughts went back to the Venus Star in his possesion. He didn't really know what to do with it. The four elemental lighthouses were apparently lit, but these stars were rejected from them after. Sanji knew he would have to protect this item, as it would be disastrous if it fell into the wrong hands.

"Meh, I might as well try to find Levi and the others." Sanji muttered to himself, and he continued traipsing around Tolbi.

[Folcon]

Folcon woke the next morning and, taking most of the covers with him, rolled out of bed amd fell to the floor. Swearing, he disentangled himself from the sheets, much to the amusment of his friends. Finally, standing and kicking the blanekts away, Folcon grabed his bag and sliped into the washroom. Turning the water to the shower on high, Folcon stripped and steped inside, takeing a brick of soap with him. He dilagently scrubed himself, removing the past few weeks of grime and dirt, and watched the filthy trail circle down the drain. He then reached out of the shower and dipped his hand into the jar of shampoo next to it, bringing in a good size glob, and begain to wash his hair. Finally, hair rinsed, he stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel and began to dry himself off, leaving his hair untouched. He then pulled on some clean clothes and stepped back into the room. Folcon got Marth's attention and gave him a look. Marth rolled his eyes and walked over. Folcon raised an eyebrow and Marth noticed Folcon's wet hair. Sighing, Marth sparked a ball of fire in his hands and held it there. Folcon created a small wind around it and chanalled the heat from the flames, along with the wind, through his hair, blow-drying it. :P The others just shook thier heads and looked away. "You guys about ready to go?" Folcon said.

"Go where?" Ivan asked.

"Well there is a week till Colloso starts, I was thinking we just have fun around town for a while."

"I would like to see more of this city," Kalis said. "I didn't get to see much of the last one."

"What about you Marth?" Folcon asked.

"I'll just hang out here for now. I got no need to go anywhere."

"I'm going to stay here too," Ivan said.

"Your choice," Folcon replied. "See you guys latter." Folcon then walked out the door with Kalis close behind.

"Hey Folcon," Kalis asked when they were on the street. "Is there any place in the city that sells decent hair dye?"

It had dawned while Levi, Icelia and Thane had been speaking. As they were walking down the steps leading from the shrine, Thane listened to Icelia talk. When she said she had worked at the inn they were staying at, Thane asked himself if she could have gotten them rooms without him having to pay a large sum of money for them all, but decided not to say anything.

"...he must have been the one who lit the lighthouses. I should ask Ivan if he knows of him." she was talking about some Colosso winner. Thane hadn't registered the name right away, but then he turned to her and asked, "Ivan? What Ivan?"

"Ivan's this blonde kid, younger than us. We met him in the shrine. He was mourning for the loss of his master, Hammet. He's Hama's sister, do you know who she is?" Icelia said.

Thane looked ahead of him and said, "Oh yeah, I know who she is..."

Looking to his right he saw the palace that had once belonged to Babi, but after he had gone to a mostly unknown, secure place to operate from, the palace was given to Iodem, the new ruler of Tolbi.

"I just need to warn you," Thane said, "These Shadow Soldiers will surely be after us, seeing as we have so many Elemental Stars. They may attack us when we least expect and in great numbers, so we will have to be constantly on the lookout..."

Before any of them could say anything else, Thane noticed a familiar figure walk close by them. "Hey, Sanji!" he said, trying to get the mans attention.

[Folcon]

Folcon walked through the streets of Tolbi with Kalis trailing a short distance behind. As they entered the main market, Folcon paused a moment and pointed to a stand. "You'll find hair dye over there, I think."

"You think?"

"I haven't bought it in years, I don't know for sure if they still sell it."

Kalis nodded and hurried over to the stand, while Folcon continued to brose the selection of weapons, armors, and medicens. He didn't see much, beyond a few potions. After picking up a few medicens and some asorted food stuffs, Folcon turned around and saw Kalis walking back toward him, a grin on his face. When he got close enough, he held up a good size jug full of blue liquid.

"You were right. This is top quality stuff here. It will last me a year or so."

Folcon just rolled his eyes and started back toward the inn.

Sanji heard a voice calling his name, so he looked around and saw that Thane had called him. He was with Icelia and Levi.

"Hi Thane!" Sanji called back, waving. He walked towards them, but he tripped over something and fell on his face. He got back up, feeling a bit embarrassed, and caught up with the three.

"So...how are you guys?"

[Lightning Star]

"Good. Have a nice trip?" Icy giggled as Sanji rolled his eyes.

"Spectacular."

As they got closer, she could see a faint yellow aura around him. She blinked, making sure it wasn't just the sun.

Does he have the Venus star? That would be perfect! Then we could light all the lighthouses and restore weyard!

[Blue]

Watching Icy and Sanji talk, Levi could feel the presence of the Venus Star withing Sanji's posession. Hmmm, I wonder if we should tell him about what we plan now or later. He decided to wait awhile, he just hoped that Sanji wouldn't just leave without knowing what the situation was. "I wish I could have entered Colosso myself, but I'll be cheering for you Sanji." Levi said with a smile.
"Hey thanks, I really appreciate it."
I'm sure He'll win, I did bet on him. I would hate to be on the other end of one of his kicks, I've seen him tear through monsters with those. Most ordinary men don't have a chance.

[Folcon]

As Folcon and Kalis came within sight of the inn they were staying at, Folcon saw a group of familer faces. "Levi, Icy. How's it going," Folcon called out. At that point, he also saw Sanji and the guy with the pink hair. "Hey Sanji, saw your in the single's half of Colosso, good luck. Marth and I are taking part in the team half." At this point he turned toward the guy with pink hair. "You know," he said, "we've meet a few times, and I don't think we've been formaly introduced, name's Folcon."

"You sure are cheerfull," Kalis muttered. "What happened to the dour, angry, creep I meet in Vale?"

"He gave up on the anger," Folcon replied, some of the mirth draining from his face.

"Anyway," the guy with pink hair said. "My name's Thane."

"This is Kalis by the way." Folcon pointed to the building behind himself and said, "We're staying at that inn over there. If you need us just tell the innkeeper inside." He then thurned toward the inn and walked off, Kalis close behind, jar of hair dye in hand.

"Sure thing," Thane replied as the two men walked off to the inn, "So that's Folcon, the holder of the Jupiter Star... An Avian," Thane said more to himself than anyone else.

"What was that?" Levi asked, looking at Thane.

"Oh nothing, I was just thinking aloud," Thane said. Looking away from Folcon and Kalis, Thane saw the Lucky Dice shop. Feeling a sudden urge to gamble away a bit more of his money, he turned to Icelia, Levi and Sanji, "I'm going to play some Lucky Dice, I'm hooked. You coming?"

"Lucky Dice? Sure, I'll come." Sanji said, "Lemme just speak with Levi and Icelia for just a moment."

Sanji pulled his two friends over to a spot where no one could overhear.

"Levi, it may have been me, but I noticed a peculiar expression on your face when you looked at me earlier. Did you notice that I have the Venus Star?"

Thane looked at Sanji as he dragged the other two away from him. Hmm, not exactly trusting of me, are they? Ah well, I guess I can't blame them, Thane thought. "I'll meet you there, Sanji," he said to the man, loud enough for him to hear, and walked off towards the Lucky Dice house.

Just as he was about to enter the shop, he saw a couple of dark, hooded figures roaming the streets of Tolbi. "Darn, Shadow Soldiers. They're after the Elemental Stars. I must go back and warn the others," he said quietly to himself and turned round to make his way back to where Sanji, Levi and Icelia were speaking, but saw his path blocked by many more Shadow Soldiers. He probably would have been able to take them down, but he didn't know how many more there were in town, and he would draw too much attention if he attacked them.

He ran up a small empty street between two tall buildings. This was a longer path, but there was no other way to go if he was to reach the others before the Soldiers did. As he turned a corner, he saw two people practicing their fencing skills. He recognized them immediately.

As quickly as he could, before they noticed him, he went back round the corner from which he came from. "Sean and Ouranous," Thane muttered, his back to the wall, "What the heck are they doing here? Of course, Colosso. This isn't good..."

Looking around, wondering where to go next, he saw an open window one level higher than the street. He walked back, and then ran forwards, leaning one end of his rod on the floor. Pushing himself up and using his staff to propel himself into the air, he flew through the window and landed with a loud thud into a small bedroom. Thankfully, it was empty. He turned to the window and, again using his staff to thrust himself into the air outside, he grabbed the edge of the roof of the building opposite.

He pulled himself up onto the flat, terrace-like roof, and sprinted on to where he hoped his companions were still talking.

Levi was a bit surprised. "Er, yeah, I sensed it on you. Well, no point in waiting now. There is something going on Sanji. It looks like the lighthouses weren't lit properly. More than likely that this world is still in danger until we re-light them. I want to ask that once Colosso is over that you would join us..." Wait, somethings not right
Ah, so it seem's that these Shadow Soldiers have decided to properly reveal themselves to us.
Levi looked around and saw that some cloaked figures were starting to converge in the court that they were standing in. "This is bad, it looks like they want to start something. I don't want to risk hurting anyone in the town though. I got an idea, but this will take a lot of running."
Icy turned to Levi with a confused look, "You don't plan to run all the way outside of town do you?"
Levi shook his head. "No, not that far, We'll run for Colosso!"

[Folcon]

As soon as Folcon and Kalis made it into the room, Kalis made a bee line for the washroom, taking his jar of dye with him. Durring this time, Folcon sat down next to the window and began handing loaves of bread to Marth and Ivan, followed by jerky. After a few minutes, Kalis returned, hair now a more vibrant blue then ever. Just as Folcon was about to hand him his food, a commotion outside got his atention. Looking out the window, Folcon saw Levi and the others running by in the direction of the collisium, and they were being chased by people in dark cloaks.

Swearing, Folcon tossed the food on the table, pulled the window casment open, and threw his cloak off. "Stay here," he said, before climbing out the window and onto the roof. From there, he ran from roof top to roof top, following a parallel coruse to the others.

As Thane approached the edge of one of the roofs, he saw Levi, Icelia and Sanji running away from a large number of Shadow Soldiers. Darn, Thane thought and ran off to the other end of the roof, where his three friends turned a corner and ran past him in the street below. He raised his hand and cast Poison Flow, blocking the way for the hooded pursuers. Knowing the cloud of poisonous gas would disappear soon, Thane began casting Sonic Slashes at the Soldiers, of which some were waiting for the poison cloud disappear, while others were trying to get past it.

After a few of them fell because of the Sonic Slashes, they noticed Thane on the rooftop, bombarding them with the Psynergy. One of them used Fiery Blast and the whole house beneath Thane exploded at its base and crumbled into pebbles. Pulling himself together and holding his aching head, Thane saw as the Poison Flow vanished and most of the Shadow Soldiers ran past him chasing the holders of the Elemental, while a couple charged at Thane, pulling out various weapons.

Brushing some of the dust off and pulling himself out of the wreckage, Thane raised his staff and blocked a swing of the nunchuk one of the enemies was wielding. Thane spun round and whacked the man on the side of the head, making him fall to the ground. With the corner of his eye Thane saw another man running towards him, katana raised high over his head. Thane put his arm up and the sword collided with his defensive metal arm strap, sending him tumbling backwards slightly.

Deciding it was time for him to leave, Thane pulled out the Trainer's Whip and summoned a Living Armor, then whipped the air yet again to call forth a Gryphon, on whose back he jumped quickly, the huge Living Armor defending him while he flew off. Rising higher into the air to have a good view of Tolbi in order to see where his friends were, he saw the Living Armor swing his mighty axe and send a few of the Shadow Soldiers flying. Then he noticed Folcon, jumping from roof to roof, heading for the Colosso arena, and Thane ordered his ride to dive down to where he was.

"Hey, Folcon," Thane said as he approached the man, "Need a lift?"

[Folcon]

Folcon shook his head at Thane's offer and keep moving. It was only when he was in the air and starting to fall that Folcon realized he had run out of roof tops. As he fell the four or five stories, Folcon pulled the cord on his vest harness and his wings burst from thier confinment, pumping hard and trying to get him air born, pulling up just in time to level out three feet above the ground. And from there, he flew up and back above the roof tops and level with Thane.

Once he was level with him, Folcon said, "You might have mentioned I was runing out of room when you offered." Catching the heat now coming off the warm strrets of Tolbi, Folcon gained signifacant altitude, about three hundred feet. Looking down, he saw dozens of black cloaked figures converging on the others.

[Blue]

Looking up he saw that Folcon and Thane were aiding them by air. "Good, I was able to get there attention." He was then at the front to the massive stadium. "Stand clear!" He yelled out to the towns people ahead. They all ducked for cover as they rushed into the collosium. "Not long now..." They were soon out in the middle of the arena. "Ok... Now!"
They all turned around. Levi and Sanji pulled out their swords. Folcon and Thane landed next to them. "Alright, lets do this." Folcon pulled out his Sakabato while Thane lashed out his whip to de-summon the Gryphon. The Shadow Soldiers surrounded them in a thin line around them. "Give us the Stars, the weapon, and the Beast" one of them shouted, pointing to Levi.

"'Give us the Stars, the weapon, and the Beast.'" Sanji repeated. "I hope you don't honestly think we're going to turn anything over to you?"

"That's what we have in mind." another one replied. "I believe this" the Shadow Soldier revealed a brutal bronze axe and let it rest on his shoulder, "should convince you to resign yourselves to us."

Despite the size of the axe, the soldier moved at a rather quick pace and swung the weapon at Sanji. Sanji easily blocked the axe with his now-glowing katana. Once again, the sword released an air blade. This soldier, however, wasn't fast enough to dodge the blade completely, and his left arm was torn off.

Grunting in pain, the Shadow Soldier knelt down, clutching the stump where his arm was a couple seconds ago; it was bleeding profusely.

Sanji approached him and held his katana to the soldier's neck. In one swift motion, Sanji decapitated his enemy.

[Folcon]

Folcon would have worried about Sanji and the others, but he was occupied himself at the moment. Two of the cloaked men, Folcon heard someone call them Shadow Soldiers, were coming after him, one with long sword, the other with a glistening green spear.

Damn, Folcon thought, these two fight good as a team. As Folcon dodged a thrust from the spear, pain erupted across his back and Folcon momentarly lost his balence. Glancing down, he saw a golden wing laying of the ground twitching, then it discentagrated into nothing but feathers blown away by the heat of battle. Enraged, Folcon launched himself foward and slashed his sakabato, turning it over at the last second, and scored a hit across swordman's face, causeing the man to drop his weapon and scream in pain. In less time then it took to blink, Folcon sheathed his sakabato and pulled out his katana, the stepped foward and rammed it through the man's chest, missing the vital organs. He then pulled it out and swung the blade around, taking the head off the man with the spear. Which was surprising considering the man was out of range, until Folcon realised he had used and air blade without trying. But he forgot about it for a moment and turned his attention back to the dying man in front of him. Focusing on the man, and muttering a choice spell, Folcon syphoned the remaining life force from the man and used it to at least close his wound. As the man's corpse slumped to the ground, Folcon turned his attention back to the battle at hand.

At first Thane didn't attack, but just looked at the cloaked people around them. Nobody was attacking him and Thane guessed the reason was because they could sense or see that he didn't have an Elemental Star, so this gave him the chance to try and see the beautiful black and red cloak that his sister was wearing. He knew that she wasn't here though.

Finally, one of the Shadow Soldiers ran up to him and swung his bo staff, which Thane countered with his own. They couldn't seem to hit each other's bodies, since their rods collided with every attempted attack. Thane decided to finish this battle, and as their weapons hit each other again, he quickly pulled out his little dagger out of one of the satchels he wore around his waist and threw it at the man. He fell and Thane jumped on him and, pulling the dagger out of the Soldiers' chest, striked him over the invisible face with his staff.

Hearing some commotion at the other end of the ring of Shadow Soldiers, Thane peered over their heads and saw two sets of spiky hair, one red and one blue; Sean and Ouranous were hacking at the dark figures with their weapons, obviously deciding to give the people trapped by the Shadow Soldiers a bit of help. Damn! I've got to get out of here, Thane thought, and began attacking the enemies on the opposite side of where Ouranous and Sean were, attempting to get out of the crowd before the two fought their way to where Thane and the others were. They mustn't know I'm here.

stepping back from two shadow soldiers that faced her, Icelia narrowed her eyes. Pulling out a blue orb, she could have sworn she saw the shadow soldiers drool.

"You want this?"

A shadow soldier lunged after the orb, but she had moved out of the way in time.

"I guess not!" Taking the orb, she held it in her hands, a rain pouring in gentle streams around her.

"I call upon Tethys, the mighty sea goddess before Poseidon, drown these two in your fury!" She held the star up, and water began to flow at an enormous, powerful rate toward the two shadow solders. The water wrapped around their legs like a snake and coiled up them, constricting and making it so they could barely breathe.

"Use this!" someone called, she looked over to see Ivan throw a sword over by her feet. quickly, she put away the star as the water kept the two shadow soldiers immobilized and picked up the sword.

Mercury...guide me. Holding the sword up in the air, she let it come down with force on the first shadow soldeir's neck, beheading him as if cutting butter. Wearing a sort of freakish grin, she lifted her sword and dug it into the other shadow soldier's chest where his heart would be. He gasped loudly, then fell back to the ground with her sword still in his chest. He was still alive, but once she pulled the blade out of his chest, he was soon taken over by the grim reaper.

So that's what it's like...to kill another man with your own two hands. Humane emotions kicked in a she saw the blood spilling around the two figures.

[Folcon]

As Folcon slashed another Shadow Soldier across the chest and the man fell to the ground screaming in pain, something hit him across the head, sending him flying a short distance. As he reached for his sword that was lying a short distance away, a foot came down on his chest, stopping him. Looking up, Folcon saw another Shadow Soldier standing above him, sword at his throat, and an evil grin on his face. Just as the blade came up to strike the final blow, an arrow head burst through his chest, causing the man to scream in agony. Then the arrow began to glow an angry red. "Oh, s***!" Folcon said, rolling away and taking his sword with him. A moment later, the arrow burst into flame, burning the man alive.

Looking up, Folcon saw Marth, bow in hand, arrow drawn, spin away and target another soldier. A hand then grabed Folcon by the arm and pulled him to his feet. Looking up, he saw it was Kalis. "I thought I told you to stay at the inn," Folcon growled.

"What, and miss all the fun?" Kalis laughed.

"Thanks," Folcon said. He then picked up his sword and held up his hand. "It's time to end this, Gigas Bolt." Upon saying this, a massive bolt of lightning erupted from Folcon's hands and slammed into a group of Shadow Soldiers

[Blue]

Unsheathing his sword, Levi dashed into a group of soldiers and swung down his blade. He slashed through three men and then used Force to push the rest away. What do they want with me? Another group of people ran at him, with weapons drawn. "Get him!" Levi turned to them and held his hands up, "Fireball!" balls of fire surrounded Levi, then hurtled towards them, scorching their skin. Suddenly he felt a burning in his arm. He turned to the shadow soldier that has just stabbed him. Filled with rage, he pulled it out and grabbed the man. He lifted him up and threw him into a group of them. "Grah!"

Levi began to go on a rampage. He was going into groups of them, cutting them down. He then put his hands together. "Oh great mother earth who supplies us everyday. Give me the strength to destroy those in my way... GRAND GAIA!"

[Lightning Star]

Icelia looked around, "Did we finish them all?"

"Well if it's the stars they want, shall we give it to them?" she asked, with a smirk.

The giant stood tall, looming over them with a shadow so huge it blocked the sun for her and Levi. But somehow, miraculously, she wasn't afraid.

He's big, but with all the elemental stars here, we can do some serious damage to this guy. Perhaps even kill him. Besides...I have a feeling...I have a feeling that we're going to experience more on this trip, so we're not about to die yet!

As Sanji drilled another Shadow Soldier into the wall, he felt the ground rumble. He looked around for a couple seconds before he saw a huge monster at the entrance of Tolbi.

Aiya... Sanji thought to himself. First the soldiers, now that massive thing? We can't lose here, though. We won't lose.

And with that, Sanji ran towards the monster.

[R-dog]

((It's good to be back. I'm so glad you didn't start Colosso! :P ))

"Darkrai!" Tairn shouted as he ran across the fields outside the city. Darkrai, clad in his usual coat instead of armor, turned toward the rapidly approaching figure.

When Tairn came to a halt in front of him, Darkrai asked, "What is it?"

"The city's under attack!"

Worried, Darkrai asked, "How long have I been away training?"

"All day!" Tairn then explained, "First, these people in black hoods overran the streets and these warriors were fighting them off. Then..."

"Why didn't you help them?" Darkrai interrupted.

"I was out looking for you. We can do so much with your magic."

"Ah yes, my power..."

((OOC: They don't yet realize it's called Psynergy. FYI))

"Then what happened?" said Darkrai.

"Then came this big... um..."

"What?"

"That!" Tairn pointed at the rooftops. Towering over them was a huge man-like creature.

Darkrai grimaced, unsheathed his sword and, without another word, sprinted toward the city.

"Hey! Wait up!" Tairn called after him. "You move too fast without your armor!"

[Folcon]

As he gazed at the hulking baheamoth as it approached it arena, only one thought entered Folcon's mind, Son of a *****.

[Aquamarine]

Thane watched the towering giant approach them, the ground shaking slightly. As its shadow fell upon him and his friends, Thane told himself;

So, Babi isn't using only humans anymore... The road ahead of us is long and full of dangers greater than this. We will not lose. I will not allow it.

The giant raised it's boulder-like fist, getting ready to slam the people in front of him. Hoping to grab the creature's attention, Thane ran toward it as fast as he could and rolled beneath it, hitting one of its legs with his staff. He knew the giant wouldn't be injured by this, but Thane got the desired effect, the monster was turning his back on the others in an attempt to see what it was that hit him.

"Attack it! Now!" Thane yelled to the others, looking up as the creature raised its hand again, hoping to squash Thane with it.

[R-dog]

Darkrai stared in horror as the pink haired man was moments away from being crushed by the monster's fist. Darkrai was too far away to attempt to fight physically. He listed the Psynergy he knew to himself. He could try blinding the creature with Mist, but that wouldn't stop the monster's dangerous attack. The fist might miss Thane, but it could hit a building and falling debris might also hurt him.

Darkrai had to do something. Desperately he focused and yelled, "PUNJI TRAAAP!!!", not knowing where he found the second word. Instantly, powerful bamboo spears as sharp as swords erupted from the ground, forming a protective circle all around Thane.

As the spears extended and pointed to the sky, the giant's fist fell.

[Aquamarine]

Raising his staff in a vertical position over his head in a pathetic attempt to defend himself, Thane watched as the giant's huge fist fell towards him. Suddenly, tall sharpened bamboo sticks sprung from the ground, surrounding him. The monster's hand collided with the spears, and just a few inches above Thane's head, the giant retreated its hand in pain, trying to pull out the pointed sticks which had plunged deep into its skin.

Wondering what had just happened, Thane looked around. It couldn't have been him who cast the Psynergy, he didn't have any Earth powers, he mostly had Wind Psynergy... Then he noticed the two people he had seen the night before. One of them still had his hand raised after using Punji Trap.

"Thanks," he yelled to them. He didn't have time to say more, as the behemoth pulled out the last of the spears and continued attacking everybody around it.

[Folcon]

"Marth, aim for its eyes," Folcon yelled, leaning on Kalis's shoulder.

Marth nooded and notched another arrow. Then he took aim and fired. The arrow flew stright and true, but fell short and tuded into the giant's chest, which only served to make it more angry.

Swearing once more, Folcon brought his hands together and said, "Almighty Zepher, lord of winds, Grant me your power so that I can blow my foes away, Storm Blast!" While he said this, a ball of purple light formed in Folcon's hands, then he unleashed it, sending a massive blast of surging, purple tinted wind and air toward the giant. It slamed into the behemoth right between the legs and sent it roaring to its knees, clutching itself as dark blood oozed out.

"That aught to make things easier," Folcon mumbled, fighting off the fatigue from battle and blood loss.

Darkrai and Tairn watched the creature fall to its knees. "Well, disabling it has already been done," Tairn casually observed. The team glanced at each other, nodded, unsheathed their swords, and rushed at the monster.

The monster's face was close enough to the ground for Darkrai to accurately cast some damaging psynergy at it. Fearlessly, Darkrai skidded to a halt a few yards away from the creature and aimed a Thunderclap.

At the same time, Tairn ran up the monster's back, using its bony spine as footholds. He raised his longsword, hoping to drive it into the back of the monster's neck.

Just before Darkrai cast his spell, he saw the monster's eyes open and arms move. It was recovering more quickly than Darkrai expected.

Suddenly, he realized how much danger they were really in.

Huh, quick recovery." Sanji muttered. He was watching the battle for a bit, and the huge monster was quickly recovering from a nasty spell. Sanji swung hiskatana several times, releasing several air blades. They cut the monster where they hit, and even though it felt the blows, it was hardly beaten down.

Sanji sheathed his sword, and focused energy in his right leg so that it grew yellow. He ran forward and swung his leg:

"Fendoir de Gaia!"

The massive earthen energy blade flew forward and made a deep gash on the monster's body from where its heart was and down from there.

The monster stumbled back several yards at a time, but it stopped and gave out a loud roar.

Sanji smirked. "He's resilient. But wait," Sanji started with a jolt, "I totally forgot! Flint!"

"Hi! ^.^" Flint replied. "Need my help with this?"

"Flint, listen to me..." Sanji began, and he went over a plan with the Venus Djinni.

Fenrir licked Reveria gently on the hand as she slowly opened her eyes.
Since Reveria's father was aquaintenced with Iodem, the later had invited her faimily to stay at his mansion. Reveria didn't hesitate to take the advantage of finally being able to sleep on a confortable bed.

"What is it, Fenrir?" Reveria sat up, unwillingly. "You know I need my rest, or else I'll be moody for the rest of the day."

The black hound knew very well how his mistress must rest as much as she can in order to keep their contract stable, but something outside was bothering him. He bit a corner of Ria's dressing gown and lead her to the balcony.

To Reveria's suprise, there was some kind of fierce battle going on, and whoevers behind it, had used all the lives that were sacrificed on the "pre-battle" to summon a knight of the underworld.

"How did I sleep through all of this?" Ria mumbled grimly as she quickly got dressed. Tolbi soilders were everywhere, but none came to inform her abou the "war" that was apparently going on.

With the help of her new cloak orb, it wasn't difficult for Reveria to sneak out. She arrived just in time to see a man strike the beast with an earth elemental attack.

"Fe--"
Klarthetti, class 2 shadow knight, vulnerable only to light-based attacks, high base resistance to all other elements. Fenrir smirked. You do not need to tell me to check their data anymore, it is the first thing you do before you go into battle, afterall.

Reveria rolled her eyes. "So then, what all these people are doing are basicly useless unless someone here can alter his defence barrier. Or... perhaps heal can damage it, but it won't be enough to kill it. Anything we do right now will just make it more angry."

And that is where I come in.

"As long as he listens and obeys us..."

[R-dog]

As the giant staggered back, Tairn lost his footing. He clinged to the monster's back, dropping his sword in the process. Darkrai darted over, grabbed Tairn's sword and leaped to safety. He then yelled, "Tairn, get out of there!"

The giant moved just enough so that Tairn could jump to a rooftop. Darkrai thought, Our individual efforts do nothing. If everyone combined their powers, however...

Darkrai wanted to tell everyone this, but since they were all fighting the monster, nobody would hear him. He needed some way to get their attention.

[Aquamarine]

(OOC: Where the hell are Blue and Icy?)

Thane stared up at the monster's back, thinking of a way, any way, to damage it. The giant seemed to have forgotten about him and was attacking his friends at the other side. All of them were attacking it with a wide range of attacks, physical and Psynergy, but it barely felt them.

Then suddenly, Thane saw a huge fist fly towards him. He did a quick back flip in the last moment and just barely dodged the oncoming attack. Before the giant had time to pull his hand back, Thane ran up it, treading on it's immense muscles with his boots. The giant stood upright, trying to flick Thane off as if he was a pesky fly.

The mercenary reached the creature's shoulder and saw its big fingers approach him. He made a few steps backwards and fell down it's back. As quickly as he could, he pulled out his Trainer's Whip and lashed it around the thick neck of the giant, using it to swing to the other shoulder. Not knowing what else to do, he cast Sonic Slash at the giant's head, but it seemed to have little to no effect.

Then he felt something tug at his short cape and he was lifted off his feet. The giant swung its hand backwards, Thane dangling helplessly from its fingers, and threw him with all its might. Thane flew through the air like a bullet and crashed painfully into a nearby building. Small chunks of the house rained upon him as he fell to the ground below. Pulling himself up slightly, he dazedly said to the others, "I have absolutely no idea how to defeat that thing," and fell face down onto the dusty ground.

[Viridian Tiger]

Ether was sitting underneath a tree near Kalay. He was thinking to himself, enjoying every moment as if it were his last for some reason. Ether:(Ahh... the beautiful river....the leaves in the air... floating, floating.... Dancing leaves! ^-^) A woman passed by, coming from a cave that connected Angara and Gondowan. She must have been an Adept, being able to pass through there. Ether: "Hello, there! It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Woman:"Umm.. oh. Hello. Err.. How are you?"
Ether:"I'm just fine, thanks! I was about to go through the Gondowan cave to go visit Tolbi for Colosso." Woman:"Ohh... you are? I'd suggest going against the visit to Tolbi for now."
Ether:"... Why? Did something happen?"
Woman:"Yes! There appears to be a monster attacking the town. I came here seeking help. You... aren't an Adept are you?"
Ether:" An Adept...? Do you mean those special people who can do... this?" Ether uses the psynergy lift to pick up a rather large rock.
Woman:" Yes! f it's not too much... could you go help the warriors there?"
Ether:( Suddenly serious)" Of course! That's is why I am an Adept. But may I ask why you are going north?"
Woman:" I hail from Vale. I was on a trip to see my daughter in the Kalay docks. You see, she works there."
Ether:" If that is all, then please return to Vale. I shall go and try to aid them with some of my power."
Woman:" Oh, thank you! But the only reason I came out here was to ask someone to help me. My daughter has fled the docks with me, and she's trapped inside. I cannot help her because I am very weary. Please help!"
Ether:" Understood!"
Ether traveled into the cave. He searched for a good few minutes, but alas, found nothing. Had the woman been lying to escape conversation? No, from the sound of her shaky voice, she couldn't have lied. He decided to search for a few more minutes. He was wasting time, but finally found a girl, unconcious and trapped underneath a boulder. She was pinned, but not crushed. He used Lift again to raise two boulders that could crush her, then pulled the girl out. He healed her. She awoke and thanked him. They then parted ways and Ether continued his trip to Tolbi.

Reveria raised her staff, the one known as the Cross of Satan, and began chanting quietly in ancient language. Serveral purple-auraed spheres began to materialize and orbit themselves around Reveria.

"Solanum Nigrum L!" She called out at the end of her chant, and swung her staff in a circular motion. The spheres followed in the same pattern. "Shoot!"
One by one the spheres followed the Cross' guide and hit the beast on his scars and wounds, but to everyone but Reveria and Fenrir's suprise, it healed him, and calmed him somewhat.

The beast dropped his victums and turned to Ria. He eyed her for a moment and noticed Fenrir beside her.
"You who possese the power of darkness. Speak to me. What do you want of me? I trust that you can tell I've already been contracted." The beast began.

"Exactly." Ria replied. "And I hereby void that contract--if you wish. We all know the rules. A demon cannot reject a contract offered, but there are a few ways to bypass it. Fenrir here is one of them."

"My master is powerful. Why then, would I want to leave such a fine medium?" The beast laughed.

"Because my offer is... Valkyrie's Blood." Those two words suddently came out of Reveria's mouth, unintentionally, as if she had someone else's mind within her own.

[R-dog]

Darkrai prepared to attack the monster again, but seemingly out of nowhere, purple spheres of energy appeared. They collided with the creature and instead of damaging it, healed it.

"Did you see that?" asked Tairn.
"I did. Where did it come from?"
"Her, I think," he replied, pointing to a young girl some distance away. She now seemed to be talking to the beast.

"Ugh, all of our efforts to fight that thing are wasted!" Tairn groaned. "Now she'll just give it orders to destroy us all!"
"She doesn't look like one of them..." Darkrai observed. "But it looks like you're right. Whoever she is, she must be stopped."

"Be careful, Darkrai! She must be a powerful spellcaster," Tairn said.
"Well, so am I," Darkrai replied. Carefully, he approached the girl with his weapon at the ready.

[Folcon]

Folcon sighed in iratation as he saw the giant healed. Now if only someone would heal me, he thought. But he had lost sight of Icy and the Mercury Star shortly into the battle, so he had to find a different healing solution. But with no one nearby with healing Psynergy, he turned to the only choice. "I didn't want to have to do this," he said, pulling out the Dawn Star, "but I got no other choice." He held up the shining white orb and shouted, "Cleansing light of the heavens, come to my aid. Banish this darkness and heal our wounds, Blessings of the Light." Light then exploded from the Star, a hundred times brighter then the sun. And in that light, Folcon felt his fatigue and pain wash away, and a surge of calmness as he felt his lost wing rapidly regrow. He stood up, and looked inthe direction the beast was in as the blinding light began to fade.

Incoming. I got your back. Fenrir mumbled, and turned to face the firection which Darkrai is approaching from.

".. So what do you say? Do we have a deal?" Reveria offered.

The beast was silenced for a moment, and finally agreed. He somewhat doubted that the young lass actully have even a drop of Valkrie Blood.

"Wise choice." Ria smiled satisfiedly. She circled around the beast thrice and marked 2 binding circles during the process, finally, Ria plunged her staff into the beast's body.

"Shadow Knight of the netherworld, I, mistress of Fenrir, hereby void your contract with your master... ..." Reveria paused for a second, trying hard to not laugh at the given name. "B..abi. Soul Breaker!"

A purple surge of energy struck Ria's staff and through the beast, who howled in pain, but was soon relieved.

"Now, your end of the deal..." Ria sighed, and bit her thumb. "Give me your hand."

The beast eagerly reached his hands out, and Ria dropped a single drop of her blood on his hand. The shadow knight quickly licked up the red liquid from his palm.

[Aquamarine]

After lying face down on the pile of rubble from the building Thane had been thrown at, he decided he had to find enough strength to look up. Lifting his head slightly, his face dusty and bloody, Thane saw one of the two men he had met earlier walking close by him towards somebody. He peered at the person he was walking to and saw it was the girl who had hugged him the night he met his sister. Darkrai's weapon was raised.

Pushing himself up with his very painful arms, and using almost all of his remaining strength to do so, Thane pulled himself to his feet. He couldn't make out what Reveria was doing. She seemed to be talking to the giant. Was she one of Babi's Shadow Soldiers? No, she couldn't be, she wasn't wearing a black cloak and she seemed to have emotions written on her face. Although he had no idea what she was doing, he knew it was something that would help them all.

"You," he said as loudly as he could to Darkrai, "Wait. Leave her."

[Somia]

"Mmm... I did not think that you could be the real deal, Mist. But, what can I say. That was too much to offer for such a small favour. Nice doing business with you." Klarthetti grinned and ripped opend a portal on the ground.

"Mist? Another one of my allias? Great, like I don't enough already... ANYWAYS." Reveria began in a grave tone. "Take all of your soilders and scram at once. Other wise, Fenrir here will be more than happy to devour you. Yes, that also includes these ones that were sent to assist you. And NEVER again, will you be involved with this 'Babi' again. Understood?"

"Hyahyahya... As you wish Ma'am." The beast screamed a horrific scream, as all the shadow soilders and shadow creatures retrived into the portal that was just opened by Klarthetti. At last, Klarthetti hopped in as well.

Light beams began to shine through the dark clouds and soon the sun was visible again, Reveria looked aroudn for Fenrir, who was checking for injuries around the area.

"Just... have to stay awake a bit.. longer." Reveria whispered to seemingly no one.
