Canada is a bilingual country. That wasn't even what I was getting at about the lack of english speakers - if you took the time to read a few posts earlier, you would realize that all the chinkies live in Richmond.

And regarding post way back when I happened to enter this oh so thrilling topic: Brush up on history, dufous. It was the U.S. that won the war of 1812 when the British retards who were SUPPOSED to have a "superior navy" tried to take over New Orleans and got OWNED by Andrew Jackson in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tis all. *leaves*

Now I think Canada's got something 'cause it seems to have avoided pretty much every war there's been in the world. Either that, or it lacks something: balls.

Y'know, it's funny. Back in the old days, wars sparked nationalism. Now they spark division within countries.
Ain't it something?

During Vietnam, the hippies (who are now Democrats, beleive it or not), thought that if we pulled out and left it alone, the two sides would come to an agreement and be at peace. Well, as we all know, that backfired big time. It turned into a bloodbath. There was peace though, but only after all of one side was dead.
Same thing will happen here if we pull out before Iraq is able to stand on it's own two feet. They already have a decent sized military, and they have their own soldiers on almost ever street corner in the capital, or whatever, but they still wouldn't be able to hold their own against a rush of insurgents. Once we leave, the insurgents, no matter what kind of treaty has been put in act, will jump out guns blazing, shooting everything that stands in their way. And then the Demoscrats, or anyone who supported a withdrawl will say "Oh....well there was no WAY we could have known that would happen!"
BULLSH**.

And Eugine, it doesn't change it from being the truth. That's exactly what happened in Vietnam, and if we pull out, that's exactly what will happen in Iraq.

History tends to repeat itself. A lot.
We're in the same situation now as we were then. We went in with good intentions, we're doing good things, and half the country is trying to pull us out, claiming that the other half is a warmonger.
The only differnce is that this time, we should know better.

We're actually giving them the chance to have a future that doesn't involve a dictator. That's at LEAST better than a future with a dictator.

Yup it is and I believe the president during the vietnam war was Lyndon B. Johnson who was probably second most retarded president after Jimmy Carter, and they were both democrats.
