Okay, on the display shelf, I have two new additions. I made a custom navi called Blademan.EXE. This one is purely customed out of parts of Megaman.EXE's soul unisons (Thanks to Lifeform287 for ripping some). The counterpart to that is his Beast Out! form. There's also a pathetic attempt at Oscar from Path of Radiance as a GBA-style cavalier.

I hope you aren't mad because I used Lyn as a base for the hair and arms. If you're wondering why Shinon's arm looks severed on one frame it's because it's being covered by the bowstring, which is inconvenietnly white. :P

Wow. Okay. I've been a little free on the weekend, so I've decided to work on a little project. For Fire Emblem, I'm making weapon statsheets. The weapons depicted would be twofold - The ripped sprite graphic you see in the inventory screen and how it is viewed as if looking at it through a GBA version of the Forge screen. So far, I've done a simple sample (Simple, Sample XD) for major swords that appeared trhoughout Path of Radiance.

A pack of cookies for anyone who can name them. And another pack if you can get me a resource to find FE9 weapon-item sprites I needed as of the above paragraph.

Alphonse, take note that if you are spriting a sheet for that game, to color it green + Alex can not moving in SW, NW, etc. positions, which can screw up the game oyu make. I've tried before... it's really hard to do.

Golden Sun style is too complex to do anything past recolouring. If I were to make one, it'd look far from the actual and would clash with the other GS based ones. The colour paletes are all over the place. I can try, but don't expect anything professional.

RPG Maker '03 won't just take in some random direction. It needs to be one direction only. Preferably Southwest. That way he is facing the enemy direction as well as being visible to the player. I don't know what you're talking about with these single directions.

Sprite equals a no go on the faceset. The Colosso Sprite is also impossible to trun into a char set, as it faces only in diagonal directions and not straight up down left or right directions.

Anyway: the only sprites I believe you can use for RPG Maker 2k3 or XP, etc. are ones that can face up and down, left and right, and unfortunately Azart, or any most other NPC's, for some reason are unable to face down or up. Why Camelot did this I don't know.

Alright. Toasty, I modified it so that the sprite is idle instead of shooting an arrow. The light arrow effects don't look so good on transparent background, which all my sprites are supposed to have. Also, it's smaller than 100 x 100, but I hope that's alright.

I see. That should be fine, Roxas head is already Sora's head, just a different hair style. Too bad you couldn't animate Sora with dual wielding Keyblades. Just do your best with what you got.

New update. On the display rack, we have here a replica of a sword called The Archangel. It's a cross between a Master Sword-esque blade and a katana. The design is that of a medieval sword and has the weight and blade shape of a katana.

It was drawn on paper and "scanned" before put together. Only tools used were a pencil, paper, a 3.2 Megapixel digital camera, MS Paint, my mouse and hand. =D

EDIT: It's a prototype at the moment, I still need to get the shading right. I never was that good at shading.

So that's what you sword looks like. The shadeing is fine, except for the the blade part. It needs to transition from it's current shade, to a slightly darker shade, starting from the left side to the right or vise versa. Do that for the whole blade, but still keep the defining line in the center. This is just my opinion. I've drawn a few swords before on paper and experimented with shadeing, but I could never get it quite right, but this might work on your sword. I'm no expert though. =D

On the final product, I'm recreating a metal sheen instead. I did the effect before, making a robot-dog sort of thing. Newer versions of my plaques have that brasslike shine to it. Relatively easy to do on Paint.
