There have been many topics made on this, and all have been closed. The only thing that happens with these topics are flames, and flamewars. Some of the older members remember what happened between Agatio and Izar, right? It lead to Izar getting demodded, and Agatio getting a very large warn level increase.

Well, it is a duplicate but...Wasn't the last one closed? Im also aware that these can passively turn into flame wars but i dont know of any people on the forum that are likely to make that happen at the moment so i think this is ok.

No, actually, we are incorrect. The game should function, yes, as rating the person directly above you. However, it sometimes poses an issue as one may rate the same person again, should that person have posted directly before. Thus, often, members who have posted on the same page may be rated, as is evident.
