One time, there was this horrible smell in the bathroom. It was the most horrible thing that ever entered my nasal cavities. We were trying to figure out what it was for about two weeks. Finally, we searched in one of the cabinets, and found a 3 week old container of rotting tuna salad. My family yelled at me because I had accidentally put a bag of toothpaste containers in the cabinet, not realizing that tuna was also in the bag. I had to clean it up. ._.;

Last year for our Physics project we needed to use a "projectile" and send it off at a certain "angle". So we decided to take a shopping cart and push it off a ramp down the hill. The funniest part is my friend who had to stand at the bottom of the hill and get out of the way when the cart came so he could find where it landed. Good times.

In my last Physics lab, my group burned a few resistors. It was sort of embarrassing, yet amusing at the sametime =). The idiotic part of the story was that we hooked up the circuit on an AC source, rather than DC, when the lab technician told us countless amount of times it was DC.

I had a moment during chemistry today when I messed up. I just couldn't do this one part of an experiment, so the teacher needed to find the exact way to make it seem easy and leave you feeling like a dumbass at the same time.

I know it is cliche but I have mixed two wrong chemicals and the thing overflowed big time. The whole desk was covered with this liquid.

We were doing an experiment where we were testing how concentration affects rate of reaction so we had to use this one chemical and an acid and dilute the chemical and time how long the reaction took. Well clever me went and put the pipette for the acid in the chemical bottle, making the whole bottle react and basically wasted.

My secondary school teacher always diluted the acids for us before we use them to prevent such occurrences from happening.

It's hard to tell because the acid and the chemical are both clear like water, so you can only tell which is which if you write on the bottles, which we did, but when we held them to pour, it rubbed off. But who cares, I got an A* for that experiment :D
