Controls are awesome though. The customization is all it's cracked up to be too.

Nevermind.
[EDIT] Oh yeah. As far as that old argument over jaggies goes, because of the nature of the game, (more sharp edges and such in any given space) the jaggies are much more pronounced. But w/e

Let's start by saying the controls are a lot of fun. It's easy to strafe a guy and line up for a headshot at the same time, then do a 180 and melee the little alien critter who is about to tackle you. They're also very customizable; you can map any action to just about anything you want to fit your own playstyle. For example, I didn't like having to thrust the nunchuck to throw grenades, so I mapped that to the + button and put the 180 spin to the nunchuck instead.
The graphics are a good achievement for the Wii. Explosions light up the surrounding area, as do gunshots. Bullets have trails. Many objects in the game have some bump mapping and cast shadows. The game has the muscle, but it doesn't seem to know what to do with it's muscle. The art style sucks. Some areas and enemies are pretty boring to look at. The game also may as well have been presented in black and white because it lacks a lot of interesting colors to begin with.
I guess how much you'll enjoy The Conduit depends on what exactly it is you're looking for in the game. If you've been itching for proof that shooters can work on the Wii, you'll like this. If you haven't really cared, you're still not going to care.
I say this because the actual level and enemy design is pretty unimaginative. This is a shooter you've played before. It's a decent shooter on it's own, but the only thing it does that is different is the fact it's on the Wii. If you're content with that you'll enjoy The Conduit. Otherwise, wait to buy it used.
