meh, flaws

The head is out of proportion
legs were screwed overall
feet are too dainty as compared to the face

but this was when I only started to get a grasp of drawing manga, notice the eyes are full moon-esque

I like how I did the clothes then, I've had to redo my piccy of all of us in the Epic topic becoz Icy and Silo joined and I didn't want to not include them. Bsides, I did FGX like a shining force character coz I didn't read about the jaffar bit, so that has to be redone...I'll post that version once imageshack works properly

Well I've given up on imageshack so I'll use attachments for now, I leave them on for 1 day max, anyway this was my riginal piccy of the epic group...grr it's not the best and characters have been added so I'll make a new edition one

because of file size, I've had to resize it so zoom into the picture...oh yeah, any body know a good program to do colouring in, eg paintshop pro

it's again a line drawing...I wanted to add colour and shade via the computer...note any of the sketches I draw are "straight from scanner", so no touch ups, colour or shading

In a cartoon line drawing, the only thing to compliment on is the composition, and with anime,.....
well, let's just say that composition is lacking with most animes, because the don't have realistic composition.

yes they are, I don't do much fan art as such

and I try to differ my eyes, like I know some girl comics with REALLY OTT eyes which take up half the face...I don't draw like that anymore because...it's quite freaky right?

That's thing, ,most people only assume that anime is huge cute eyes...mainly because they have seen stuff like sailor moon

that isn't necessarily true, see my avie, that's Riza Hawkeye from Hagaren and she doesn't have the super skinny bod with huge piercing eyes

I use a digital camera. It takes forever to get the pic. in the right place...not to mention taking any hint of brown off...

Ya it's really great, I can't draw wrinkles, for some reason, I use a didgital camera too, thats why it's so blurry, I'm probably gonna get a scanner for christmas though

To the Japanese, yes. To us, no. Our American cartoons and comics are just peachy compared to all the anime that we see coming from Japan. Although, you can never discern it the way Japanese don't, since they don't really care. I know that Yasuhiro Nightow (the guy who made Trigun) usually goes to Comic Con in San Fransisco almost every year (IF he has time, that is ... ).

getting an idea on how WD looked like, I started drawing but he sorta turned out looking like ranma >.o. and adding Ivan's clothes didn't help

and he asked also for elmer fudd, so that round creature next to WD is infact elmer.

oh and I was bored, so I added a few clones

meh, he gave me a rough idea of how he looked but I'm guessing his hair is longer (sorta like pyro's hair from MT, maybe even looks like pyro)

and I probably drew him waaay too nicely than he really looks too -_-..*gets whacked on the head with elmer fudd*
