anyways its really well drawn kiku - i actually thik the decision to leave off the face gives a really nice effect. Kinda leaves you to imagine the rest for yourself

I don't, even an anime face would have been better then none. The body is rather well drawn, but the fade is terrible. Though Yuna dousn't have a face that realy sets her apart in my opinion, though the people who created a second game with her in it, obviously disagree with me. I'm not a big Yuna fan, if you haven't noticed. I feel that X-2 is a joke. I liked X much better.

gwaa, I only found some time today to do some manga art...I've been doing some paintings for art class( I'll show pictures of them when they are finished, I kinda like them ^^)

This is the famous sakura kinomoto, I like to do a little fan art (and because of this, I would like to stress, sakura is not my own creation, it belongs to CLAMP/kodansha, I only created the costume)

All those little annotations are what I call my warped tutorial I did for my friend (that was the reason why I drew her in the first place). I feel sorta pleased, I haven't drawn in CLAMP style for a very long time ^^

However, this is my own character. This is basically some of the views of her face so I can refer back to it. This is like my cartoon ego (yes, my hair is now like that)

The writing to the side, well, I'll decide about telling you lot about what that is (some of you I think know) but for now, respect this is mine and "E"'s ideas :P

it has the length down the back but not at the sides. ANYWAYS, i think that character looks quite cool - kinda plucky (cant believe i used that word) and i think it suits you well

hmm, the problem is my co-artist ("E") and I are still discussing costume and complete style...those pictures are pretty much my style, her style is different (less blocky and more...gentle as per say)

for instance I want to do longish sleeves and she wants shortish...there are others like age but heck, we'll sort it out in about a week I'm sure ^^

Okay I better explain this dude. He's my foreign languages teacher and he puts ALOT of emphasis into oral work -.- that's why we have "let's-say-the-german-vowels-out-aloud" sessions. That's why I fear everytime he asks a question, because if you don't have the right accent when replying then you have to say each vowel out aloud to the class -.-;;;;

But he's a nice teacher, even if he is a bit hyper

Kiku - that is unbelievably good

i love it - especially the effects you've made on the third frame. Thats your best work to date IMO (waits for kiku to say "meh i only scrawled it in a few minutes")

you could really make it as a manga artist if you ever wanted to do that.

Very good even though you did do it in ten minutes. It may be a little shakey but you can easily see how good it is and how a the real thing could be developed from it.

I actually started the comic trend as it may be called (read a few posts back, it should be there)

Well, basically, working with my co artist, I'm coming up with the jokes (I have no clue as to why though) and I'm drawing most of of the expressions and the weird characters.

And this is supposed to be like an advertisement thing, so I'll have to come up with at least 2 more. I'll be sure to post them.

That's awesome, Kik'. But...uh...yikes...I really can't think of any criticism. The picture is pretty much flawless. The chin's a little pointy, but it doesn't make the drawing look any less impressive.

well okay time to explain this pic. I was having a conversation with Raven but his messenger screwed up and thus he was forced to use a drawing tool. I was mocking him but then he drew a pic as a challenge to do that ascii. Having absolutely no talent in that area, I was clever enough to scan in pics ^^ This was the last pic which owned him. Now Kik, I knew you were a good drawer but I never knew you were this good. The comic is funny and the drawings are clear, anime style drawing which is great but I think the words need to be bigger and bolder for it to be readable. Still, nicely done.

Never do comics late at night when the only thing keeping you up is strong tea.

I've noticed alot of flaws in the comic flows. I didn't com up with this methodically. I also forgot speech bubble in the first page so it wouldn't make sense. And even if I did, i think I better make a page just before so you guys can get what started the the whole fiasco off. That and my handwriting sucks :D

1.So now it's going to be 4 pages, one more before the original first page
2. Add a little speech to the now page 2
3. Add more "drama" to page 3
4. Generally fix it

Oh yeh I kinda forgot, read it like the japanese, I did it right to left because I found easier to flow like that strangely enough -.-;;;;;

I'm not sure, I think I just find it easier because that's how I read manga.

And well the layout of manga can be slightly more complex than normal comic strips (eg the simpsons).
