I like it because then I don't affiliate people as being their avatars anymore and that I'm actually talking to PEOPLE

In other news, hate the new "Live Feed" and "News Feed", only difference as far as I can tell is one also shows you which people your friends have added recently, what they're becoming "fans" of, pictures, etc. It's kinda confusing.

And some status updates appear in both but others only appear in one or the other? I DON'T GET IT

In my experience, stuff that has been commented on or liked gets put into the news feed. But yeah, it's seriously annoying.

That looks true, but there's a status update in my news feed that doesn't have a comment or a kudos attached to it, there's nothing that's obviously special about it. =(

EDIT: It's probably because the person was typing directly into the news feed. It's still retarded though.

With the news feed, you have to refresh or click "show new updates" to view the new stuff, while the live feed does it automatically.

Also, the Live feed gets all OCD about everything your friends do, and tells you everything their doing on Facebook.

Needless to say, I use the live feed. Mostly because I'm too lazy to refresh.

If you go to the left hand menu, click more, and drag status updates to the top of the list it should fix up the news feed.

I've had Facebook since 2005 and have barely used it compared to some people.
Other than that, i usually have it open now because of the Chat Feature.
Basically all of my friends in town use it and it's easy to communicate with them on it.

Other then that, my other reason was to use it to challenge people to Tetris and kick there ass, but since there is www.tetrisfriends.com I can now kick ass over all the world!!!
