Yeah. I logged into ACWW at 12:00 AM in the morning on Saturday to find that there was no snow on the ground, but there was still snow in the trees. XD

So, later on at a decent time in the morning (say, 8 AM-ish) I logged on again and the trees had no more snow! =D

Nope. And the owner of the house isn't allowed to move or remove furniture while the visitor is in the house. This is because the owner of the house could easily push furniture and trap the visitor somewhere.

XD, you gotta admit, that would be so funny if you could do that. And another thing, i heard that there is gates in your city to other cities. And if you leave them open, people can come to your town. I dont fully understand the concept, could somebdoy explain it?

You have one gate located in the northermost part of your town. When you open your gates, your DS is connected to Nintendo's WiFi connection. Four dudes who are on your buddy list and vice versa can come to your town while the gates are open. They're free to collect fruit, fish, bugs, clothing/umbrella/hat designs, buy stuff from Nook, just about anything besides stealing furniture from your house while they're there. Additionally, they can invite one of your residents to come to their town a day, but it takes about two days for the resident to move and you're free to stop them if you want to keep them.

Since the DS is only connected to WiFi while it's turned on, your gates can't be "left open" when you leave the game. Also, you may not want to keep ACWW connected to WiFi all the time, because when your gates are open, your residents stay indoors (probably to prevent lag).

Remember how my DS was buggered? Well i had the smart idea of buying AC:WW :wacko: Luckily the headoffice for Australia happens to be about 20min from my house, whew got my DS in for servicing about two days before my warranty ran out :D Turns out it had a faulty circuit board. Anway, since i've had it i've payed of my first loan so far, and discovered the recycling and lost and found boxes. So cool, scored so much stuff.

Few questions, WHY IS THERE ONLY PEACHES!!!!!!GAH:agitated:. How do i get turnips, how long does it take for Nook to get the slingshot, shovel and bug net in stock. Any tips would be nice (Thanks to WD for his help so far)

You got your DS fixed finally, then? :wacko:

Your town has a local fruit. This means your town will only grow this particular fruit until you plant new ones. Occasionally, your Mom will send letters to you and, sometimes, have a fruit (generally a different one than your local) packaged along with it. Sometimes I think residents give you fruit too.

You can buy Turnips every Sunday.

How long have you had ACWW? Your shovel should come on the third day, the slingshot maybe on the fourth or the fifth day, and I think you should've had you bug net by now, but I dunno. Just remain patient, the only thing you really need at this point is your fishing pole, and MAYBE a watering can so you can keep the flowers in your town lookin' peachy. (no pun intended, really!)

By the way, the Manual never really states it but something you should know, in case ya don't. Do you see those small little weeds sticking out of the ground? You can pluck those by pressing B. It helps your town rating.

You can also buy furniture from their very house. :P

Irony, I've just convinced another forum that I'm a hardcore stalker.

Anyways, yeah, I've played Animal Crossing Wild World every single day since launch, all 4 and a half months, and I have no intent of stopping my routine. I'll be playing all my wifi games through 2008 on my DS upon request, so no worries there. Just gotta bring it up, and I'll go "Oh sure, lemme find the game and then I'll play a round with you" as long as you scheduel it on here or AIM. So no worries Aquamarine. And Venus? After you pay off the loan, you basically can complete the museum and do other things like that. When all those things are complete you simply try and make the best town and house you can. After that you play the game and have fun.

Well you can always control what your nickname is by giving them a negative response when they say "I know just what to name you!"

It's always the first letter of your name and then something slapped onto the end. Mine's B-puff.

You have to be out past 7 PM to find them. They're on the ground, sometimes you'll even see them crawling around "casually". Be careful because they attack you. That's why I never catch any.

Some people say that they'll be less likely to automatically attack you if you AREN'T carrying a net, but I don't know if this is true yet.

It's true, they do hide at the sight of nets. Or at least tree spiders do. You have to stand, ready to catch them, but with no net, then really quickly equip the net and swing, you don't have time to aim, just like a bee. I didn't catch the spider when I saw it, it was yellow and black, at 4pm.

I've caught a tree spider, it's not hard. Residents will stare at trees suspiciously if there's a spider in it (this works with rocks too if there's a pill bug in/under it) so you'll know it's there.

TODAY IS A HAPPY DAY! I've finally caught a Scorpion! Now all that's left are those damn Tarantulas. Scorpions/Tarantulas WILL attack you if you have a net equipped, but will leave you alone for the most part if you don't hold one. So it's best not hold nets at night, and only equip it when you're hiding behind the little terror.

Note that the bigger half of the tarantula is the head. NOT the smaller half.




EDIT: GAWD DAMN IT!!!!!! I knew something like this would happen; my DS Card popped out when it was in my pocket!! And I hadn't saved! Aw, now I have to catch the Scoprion again...

You need more luck, Bexie. Place lucky items in your house, and wear 4-leaf clovers in your hair! You can find out what lucky items are on your own. Or... you could ask me and I'll post what's a lucky item. =)

More luck means:

• Less tires and boots when you fish

• Less likely to get stung by bees when you shake the trees
  
• More Spotlight Items @ Nooks
