I'm an old member and I thought I'd come here for some help.
I've had this game for like 3 weeks now and in my first week, I got around 2-3 fossils a day, but now I can't find any fossils at all... Grah!

Just keep looking. There should be three holes in he ground each day, and atleast one should contain a fossil. Maybe not each day though, be patient.

I cant find any fossils any more, i've had it about 4-5 months. I have most of them anyway. If I do choose to dig em up, they're mostly bloody gongoids

Gyroids annoy me. A good place to look is right where the dirt meets grass or at the edges of your towns.

I found it really annoying when I caught a really rare fish ( blue marlin, dorado) and then I sold it because I needed money. Then I dont catch another one because they're so rare.

I have gone off this game. It just lost me about 3 weeks ago. I caught a Coelacanth in the end, but I was just wondering if the game has an end. So I got bored.

I have yet to get either the golden rod or the golden net, I think I'm a ways off from either of them. I didn't use any lists when fishing or bug hunting or anything, and I haven't done much playing late at night. I'm still going solid, and I intend to continue doing so, until, um, maybe Wii launch? Maybe one year anniversary? I'm doing way better than I did with the original AC, that's for sure. It's a lot easier being portable.

I don't know how many of you guys still play this, but I got a Royal Crown in the Able Sisters' shop today. I don't have enough money to buy it, it's one million and two hundred thousand bells (1,200,000) and I only have seven hundred thousand bells (700,000). If I dedicated myself to it, I could probably earn up another 200,000 today, but that's still 300,000 short, so I don't have a chance of buying it. If any of you want to though, I'm willing to open my gates, as long as you have the cash to buy it.
