I have so many racist kids at my school its not even funny
That's great with us. We have a small PE class, and we get to pick most of our teams, but we have to have at least 3 girls in a team ( Normally it's 3 teams of 6). Because our team aside the girls are so awesome, we didn't even need them to win. And most of the other team were girls, so the two teams would just start talking, while we were just standing there, scoring over and over. If they tried to get the ball, we'd growl at them and they'd scream. PE lessons are great.
@ Toasty, go on Ebay. I got my drums there for just over £100, which is a very reasonal price, as the regular retail price for my set was £500, so 1/5th of the price they were originally for. And get them in your garage if it doesn't have loads of crap in it.

It's so freaking annoying when someone turns the littlest thing into a sex joke. Example:

cant remember the last dub i found tolerable....think it was Dead Leaves. I dont know about some but i prefer to watch anime as it was intended to be watched, as in the original language, none of this "using a texan accent to portray an Osakan one" *shudder*
A scenester is a pathetic individual who pretends to be part of particular music scene such as emo. indie, goth etc. just because it's 'cool' and 'popular' NOT because they like the music. Mention an artist who doesnt live in mainstream land and they stare at you like you've got 2 heads

Speaking of "infestations", a few years back I got home from a trip and in our two bathrooms (specifically the mirrors.) we had thousands of fruit flies that summer. Gosh it was a huge pain, we kept on killing them, but there'd be more! Stupid things! I'm glad they aren't around anymore.
The latest "infestation" has been crickets around here. We had a VERY rainy summer (with lots of flooding.) and now there are crickets EVERYWHERE. I've found that they love to sit outside my window chirping when I'm trying to sleep.
I'm waiting for the first frost so all of the bugs will finally be dieing off.

It sounds like a simple phrase, but it hurts. You're talking to someone, talking about something that's bothering you or something you're upset about, and they have the @#$%ing audacity to just say "I don't care, I've better things to worry about"?! It's sickening, it's stupid, and most of all, it's nothing short of being a horrible person. How hard is it to take a minute to just LISTEN to your own damned friend? By coming up to you, they've shown that they trust you and care about you and confide in you something that's personally affecting you, and they respect whatever advice you might give - surely you can have the decency to be a good friend, a good person, and NOT care about your own god damned selves, and show some compassion for others for once?

That honestly would have been better. I want to make it clear though that I am NOT that type of person to be out partying and whatnot. I was feeling sad especially because I don't yet have any close friends, and I feel as though I missed out on meeting people. So when the term started, I was very anxious to meet people, but of course no one really wants to this late in the year... so I saw this opportunity, gave it the benefit of the doubt, and just went for it. Some girl from an inner city Winnipeg high school wrote into the city newspaper this week about her school being misunderstood, that to prove that they had smart people, they had 90% averages on their provincial english standardized test. Our school wrote the same test, and though our school is widely recognized as one of the best public facilities in the province, our average was 58%.
Why?
No, our class year is not dumb. It's because the inner city teachers were marking the tests of their own students. Under the standardized test's rules, this is not allowed. Bias is not supposed to make its way into these tests. And because my school actually followed the rules, we made the inner city school look really, really good.
So if you're going to cheat, don't write into the paper, stupid girl.

'Course that could be interpreted as both selfishness and selflessness, it's probably a bit more of the first. =/
One thing that really bugs me though, is the inefficincy of the school office, both at the middle school and highschool. The middle school's office takes FOREVER to deliver the things sent to them by parents. I got my posterboard at the end of the day when I needed it by second period.
In highschool, it has more to do with the flexability and availability of classes. If the took just 12 minutes out of each period, they could make a fifth period and allow students to take all the classes they want to. Also, if you've already started a class, (in this case, health), it's nearly impossible to switch out of it. Even if there's a test that you can take that will get you the credit for the class, you still get an F for dropping it. It seems pretty stupid to me that even if you get the credit, you'd get an F for dropping it.

And the b***h of it is, he's trying to contact the person that had my number previously. And I can't tell him that the guy no longer has that number. And I know of more than one car crash that was caused because some dipsh!t was texting while driving, which is dumber than talking on the phone while driving.

Agree with both. People will always stop in front of me, no matter where it is. They'll even do it on the stairs. As for drugs, people will go out to the alley by our school and do it there. Although they're generally ok later, you can still smell it on them.

I also hate it when people get mad at me for "pronouncing it wrong." It's like they would know better -____-''!!! I say Manga like "Mong Guh" and people are like "It's Mang Guh" or "You say it weird."
I'm like "if a japanese person told me that, I would start to care about changing it. Otherwise, SHUT YER TRAP."

I hope you don't have any foreign exchange students for them to pick on...
And wow, it made you sick from a few yards? Now that sucks. I'm so glad my school has a no substances policy. Seriously, why can't people just find normal ways to have fun? It's like wearing diapers because you can't be bothered finding a bathroom, and it smells just as bad. -_-;

I don't think I have any IRL pet peeves, just internet ones.
EDIT: Err, well, my mom's boyfriend refers to locations by wrong names. (Stongs, one of our grocery stores, he calls thongs. Price Smart foods is Price Right foods.. there are more, but apparently grocery stores are the only ones on my mind right now)

However, I do enjoy calling them cartoons to some of my anime-obsessed friends. Just for kicks.

Animation is the category of entertainment, and anime/cartoon's are two sug-genre's. Dumbass.

Under the Entertainment genre, there's the genre video and that has sub genre's as in comedy, romance, cartoons. Cartoons is the same thing as anime. Both are animated story, within the animated sub-genre people tend to split it into anime (Japanese originated genre of cartoons) and the classic American genre of cartoons, say looney tunes and such.
