Anyway, here is a recent screenshot on Bera when I was near the Henesys Dungeon entrance. On one side, a bunch of Iron pigs were sadly attempting to kill me even when they couldn't jump on the high ground I was on. On the other side, a Ribbon Pig, Slime, and Blue Mushroom are stuck in the spears. Soon after i took this pic, I slew all of them exept for the iron pigs.

No one knows for sure. If you've been a long-term Maple Player (have been around for more than, say, 5-4 months) you know that Wizet can be pretty unreliable when it comes to keeping promises and meeting deadlines.

Well, from what you said it sounded like a jump hack. When someone use a jump hack (or any other similar hack) and bumps into a monster, the monster gets the hack too. This is what I have heard.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone found a way around the patch.

I play this game. I had a char on scania but I hated him because his stats were screwed. I made a char on bera, and it turned out pretty well 'cause the lack of ppl (when compared to scania) means less kill-stealers, which means faster leveling. I'm a level 27 Bowman on Bera, sn is LawrenceMar3. I do have a warrior on Scania (LawrenceMar), but I rarely use him.
I took this screenshot when a mob of Dark Axe-stumps were coming at me, but I was still at lvl 26 when it was taken. Hope you enjoy!

Also, if someone would help me train my Scania warrior (who is at lvl 12 right now), I may use him more.

Yeah just like normal ores. Collect 10 and go to El Nath in Ossyria. There is a guy who refines these things.

hey, i started playing this game yesterday...pretty cool...i'm a lvl 7-8(don't remember exactly) beginner...and, of course, as all other newbies do, i have a question...I read this guide in gamefaqs, looking for some tips for starters...and i got to this part that says that each time you level up you gain 5 ability points, which yuo can spend on hp/mp/str/dext/etc....so, my question is...does that only happen after you become a warrior/magician/bowman/etc?...cause i'm still a beginner, and when i level up my hp keeps going up by itself...so, as a beginner, do i have these "ability points"?if so, how to spend them?

Yeah it does.

For Warrior you need 35 STR and some DEX.
For Mage you need 20 INT but get as much as possible, and some LUK.
For Archer you need 25 DEX and some STR.
And for Thief you need 25 DEX with as much LUK as possible.

ok, that is fine. I just read an faq and I made the mistake of leveling up all my stats instead of just strength. I thought it was Like Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced...where Luck means how often you hit. Even as a sword bearer. I will start over and put ALL my stuff into strength. I would have had enough by now.

Even worse idea. If you put nothing into DEX (accuracy), lets say that you'll still have to train on snials ay lvl 20. For a warrior, put 3/5 lvl-up points into STR, and the other 2 into DEX. That way, you'll hit accurately and powerfully withut having a shortage of either stat.

Anyways, did you make it so str is always 5 above your level? Like at level 10 you have 15 str? And then the rest should go into DEX. So once it's like that you put 1 into STR and 4 into DEX every level up.

Some advice: If you a theif, DON'T GO IMPORVING STR TOO MUCH! Me and PDM (I know the grammar is wrong. What are ya gonna do about it?) were working for about 1-2 hours trying to get my LUK up. I ended up having to get a Myth Titan. Not that I'm complaining.

Dude, 450 arrows is NOT a lot at all. Plus, some advice (thought may be a bit biased): Crossbows are powerful, but aren't really that good because they're real slow. Depends on how you play on which you think is better, though. I personally prefer bows though.
Also, if you get one precessed wood (which can be made with 10 branches), and 1 stiff feather, you can get Vicious to make 1000 free arrows for you. But you can also buy them for 1 meso for each arrow in potion stores (except in the 24 hr mobile shop where its 2 mesos/arrows).

For the record, STR is ONLY FOR BANDITS *coughcoughhackwheezelol*.

To make a thief, DEX should be twice your level, and all other points belong in LUK. And I know what I'm talking about so there. Bleah.

well...leveling up is going SLOW AS HELL for me...I'm only at lvl 12, already a warrior, and in the Perion area...and i keep killing monsters(and some of them take a lot of hits to beat), and the exp bar only fills up less than 1% at a time...not even those trees with axes on their heads(the ones you get firewood from) give me 1% each...the green mushrooms fill around 1.15% each, but are rare appearances, besides, at my levels i can't fight more than one at a time...just to gain ONE level takes well over half an hour...now, i don't know if thats normal, but everyone's talking about leveling up so fast...makes me think something's wrong with the way i play...anyways...anyone know any good level up spots near perion?

won't anyone help me? ;) all i want to know is...how come everyone levels up so fast? it takes me close to an hour to level up, fighting monsters i'm evidently not strong enough to kill quickly...i still kill'em...but it takes a while...and I also try to find "spots" where monsters that i can kill are abundant...and still takes so much time...so...with that in said...how does everyone lvl up so fast?...what "training spots" are good?

I got to level 20 on my first day of my warrior. It's not that hard. Took me like an hour and a half.

I'm so happy. I just bought Ryden in orbis (lvl 30 bow, costs 150,000) and I'm so happy. Can't wait to use it. I'm waiting for my ship to take off now. I'll screen my inventory and post it later.
Oh, and in Bera, I found a 10% scroll for Shield DEF that I dont need. First to find me when I'm on (plus saying that you want it) gets it (for free).

Ive played on and off about 17 hours in the past 2 days. Dying has cost me alot of Exp. though. I kept getting trapped by a bunch of fire warthogs. Im actually level 16 now. I need to find a few quests to do, Im starting to get bored of training.

You have to many shiz in you ect inventory. Throw away those snail shells, feathers and other things you don't need. If you NPC them you can only get like 500 mesos. And if you find a ore you can't grab it.

No Slime Tree is very crowded. Just train at Henesys Hunting Ground. It's just near Henesys on the left side. Train there till your like level 15. Then go to Kerning City near the Orange Mushrooms and go train there. That's what I did atleast and it went pretty fast.

The best training spot IMO for say lv 18+ is near Ellina. GO to Ellina and go to bottem section and two screens left. Go down to the danger sign and enter. Should be Horned blue mushrooms and green mushrooms. If not go top section of Ellina.

YAY!! i made a new character yesterday...leveling up went a lot faster than before, now that I know some "spots"...i got to level 10 before leaving maple island, which i found out was a mistake, i should've gotten to 8 at max, and then in victoria island go straight to the slime tree...anyways, it didn't go as fast as i expected, so, in one hour and a half, i got to lvl 13...now i'm gonna go kill pigs in the henesys outskirts...that should be pretty fast leveling...

Back on topic, I just finished going through most of the Ant Tunnels.....level 22 now with 80 STR and 40 DEX, my HP Max is mastered and im 5 away from mastering Power Strike, HP recovery is next on my list. First was HP max so I could have a as much HP as possible as quick as possible. I just hit 910 HP, and for the first time did over 300 damage. Im getting pretty proud of myself! And ive been partying with a select few people. One guy was like level 30, and was insane and partyied with me and I got alot of fine items. Im in Scandia server, but I just started a bera one aswell. He is a level 7 lol beginner. Going to be a theif.

and a tip for lvling once u r high enough lvl to do PQ (Party Quest) do them. u get alot of exp. for it. but sometimes it takes a long time to get in so its your choice. plus the quest is pretty fun. AND u can get some cool items. like one time i got 3 Black Crystals. (not refined) but still just like that i got them.

also, does anyone know if the monsters still drop tubs. cuz i wanna try and get one now that not so many ppl are trying to get them. did u ppl see the subways? they were pretty crowded.

Yay my Mage I2iddyKong is level 17. I trained at the Slime Tree and it went very fast. I was at 0% when I started and 40 minutes later I leveled! :agitated: Now Im level 17 and my Magic Claw is level 11. It does high damage and uses 20 MP. Somewhat high. Next level Im maxing MP Recovery so I can raise my Magic Claw again.

You Int is good but put a bit more in luk, check your next set of armor and see if your stats will match it.

Dude you messed up... You have low STR according to other Warriors of your level and your DEX should be twice as your level. Your level 23 now so you should have 46 DEX. Warrior's dont need INT and LUK. You screw them up because you better could use those stats for STR and DEX. :rolleyes:;

i remember when I made my character...I knew I wanted to be a warrior, so I kept rolling the dice trying to get the famous 10STR 8DEX combo...never happened...i felt stupid generating stats for 10 minutes+...15-ish...then, i finally gave up and settled for the next best combo that came up...8STR, 7DEX, 5INT,5LUK...I am now a lvl 17 warrior, and don't remember my stats...i'll prolly post a screen later...i am currently looking for a place to train...so many people recommend killing green mushrooms...but first of all, they take a good amount of hits to kill...and second of all, the experience they yield isn't that much greater than what pigs give you...and I kill pigs in 2-3 hits...what do you guys recommend killing at my level?

Sheesh, like putting a few points into INT as a warrrior is gonna hurt. In my opinion, it would help out MP shortages in the long run.

Thats what I look like now, Im now a level 25 Swordsman. 5 more levels (Which im betting will take me about a week at this rate!) I will become a page. Im really poor right now due to me buying armor at levels 20, 22 and 25. But, I already have bought gear for level 30 so I should have plenty of time to save up.

Im concerned with my spending. I have recently discovered I have no money at all.........like after these Screenys I lost almost all my money. But I havent bought anything. I really dont understand how know matter how much I play, I log on and all my money is gone. Is it possible for there to be hackers that steal money...cause Im growing concerned.

Thats the first thing I did actually, the first time I didnt but I later read a beginner FAQ and learned that I should. So, I did. XD Im going to save all my skill points after level 26, I want to max out HP recovery before I go page. So that when I turn Page, I will have some skill points to mess around with. :rolleyes:

You can board from 20-2 minutes before the flight. You just have to wait for it to take off, then wait another 10 minutes to get there. I wouldn't go there at level 14; It'd be a death wish. Have fun and watch out for Balrogs.

I have grown to HATE mages....they are the ultimate Kill Stealers that feed off the anger of pissed of warriors who actually have to move to kill their enemy. I ran into quite the character today......he had 3 character profiles. Well, he steals my kill and a FREAKING PANLID DROPS. I just about flip out and I try picking it up...I couldnt the save the Queen stole the kill and gets it. So I say..

"wow.....just wow"

and he says

"oh tough guy huh, well I know how to take care of your kind"

I say

"what? steal more of my kills?"

He lowers my fame, leaves, comes back under a different name, lowers my fame, leaves and comes back. This time I see him appear and I run away to a taxi, but while I was talking to the taxi he dropped my fame AGAIN! So.....I got to -1 fame and had to spend 40 k getting it back to normal. Remember, I was in a financial crunch at the time here if you read my last post. Luckily I had a few friends on and we all submitted him in for harrassment. I honestly am digusted with mages right now, even though my best friend in this game is a mage.

He lowers my fame, leaves, comes back under a different name, lowers my fame, leaves and comes back. This time I see him appear and I run away to a taxi, but while I was talking to the taxi he dropped my fame AGAIN! So.....I got to -1 fame and had to spend 40 k getting it back to normal. Remember, I was in a financial crunch at the time here if you read my last post. Luckily I had a few friends on and we all submitted him in for harrassment. I honestly am digusted with mages right now, even though my best friend in this game is a mage.

Bah, stupid noob. I would get a mass defame on him~ Is he on Scania or Bera? =\ If hes on Scania I have 2 chars to defame him with... Anyways dont worry with those kind of noobs or pros- most can be buttholes.

I have grown to HATE mages....they are the ultimate Kill Stealers that feed off the anger of pissed of warriors who actually have to move to kill their enemy. I've got a nice 5 characters myself able to defame on Bera. Yes that means I have more than one account. >.>

Besides, we've done this before. This dude was being really racist to another guy in the Ellinia weapon shop, so my friends and I, and lifeform, had a "stakeout". Because once the guy finally left, he defamed my friend, and then came back with another name. He had a bunch of friends come too. So we gathered as many people as possible, found the guy, and mass defamed him. He was at -3 fame when we left, I think.

If you're keeping him beginner, put stats in only str and dex. It's their attack.

Thats fun! :rolleyes: But, you should IMO raise LUK and STR only.
Just because you can find items with LUK, and use them with STR.

My Caucazn Hobo will travel the land as a high lvl n00b. =)

If you're going to make a beginner-only character raise your stats the way you would with a warrior. (e.g. DEX twice your lvl number and the rest of the stats in STR) Since you never lose EXP as a beginner when you die you won't find much of a use with LUK.

BTW Diddy, where did you hear that LUK raised your chances of finding items? Was it a website? If so, I'd appreciate it if you linked me.

I already left Maple Island.
I'm level 12 now and all my STATS are 20.
I don't think i'm only going to raise STR and LUK because i need DEX for more accuracy and INT for my Magic DEF.
Oh and LUK doesn't raise the rate of finding items, fame does that.

No way, most creature's don't really have magic attacks. STR boosts your physical attack, INT boosts magic attack and in this case you're never going to get magic.

I still have yet to get a panlid, even though I dont need one being is how Im going to be a warrior...I need some cash LMFAO. Anyways I have a low fame, being is how im poor and not willing to pay someone to raise it for me.
