Lol at almost killing yourself. Reminds me of an experience my brother had with smoking.
Me, I went to Anime Expo for the entirety of Friday (Which was really amazing), and for the rest of the weekend, I was in San Diego. Basically got drunk, played beer pong, ate an asston of food, drank more, went swimming, played Mexican Train, and watched Criminal Minds. Had a long talk about honesty with a friend to top it off yesterday.
So yeah, long story short, it was very fun. <3 Sucks you had to work on a paper after all that.

And ohmahgawd anime expo? Lucky bastard! I've made it my goal to go at least one in my lifetime. Sounds like a pretty sweet weekend (and mexican train is fun, i would assume more so whilst drunk )
Finally finished my paper 5 hours before class started :D

And you should definitely go to the expo. It's always located in either Los Angeles or Anaheim in their respective convention centers, so next year, fly there. :P Anime Expo is the biggest anime/manga convention on the continent and one of the biggest in the world, so it's totally worth it to go at least once. With Mexican Train, though, my buzz had worn off, so I wasn't able to play it drunk. ): All the better, however, cuz my two uncles, aunt/godmother, and grandma were also playing. >______>

Yeah, I know, hence why I want to go. And both locations are about an 8 hour drive from here... :( if only I were allowed to drive that far on my own, i so would. But I guess a plane ticket would be just as expensive and a shorter trip.
And dude, I have to be sober when playing mexican train with my grandparents especially. My grandma is especially sharp and has beaten us all on several occasions. Speaking of sobriety, I'm quite excited for my folks to go out of town in a couple days. :D
and I'm taking summer school to replace a class I failed last semester (*COUGH*) and also to boost my GPA-- the one I'm taking now is the gpa booster and it's Japanese Popular Culture. I wrote my paper on Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke and its reflection of a search for a cultural identity...it was all pretty much BS by the last paragraph lmao.

lol, you mad? This isn't the first time players have taken a pay cut to play on the same team. It's a smart move; it'll guarantee them a ring. Celtics did it before. Bosh had been practically begging Lebron to go to Miami, and I'm sure Wade was pushing for it too. Everyone seems so pissed off, but imagine is Crosby called up Ovechkin And Luongo, then rang Iginla up and they all took a paycut to play for Pittsburg...it'd be the smartest move since Babcock having a firesale, and somehow managing both Sedins out of a 4th round draft pick (that right, pdm?). Lakers fans are delusional if they think Kobe can stop the team of Wade, Bosh and Bronbron.

I personally wanted to see LeCrab go to the Clippers or the Nets because they were the least likely choices. Everyone would've been pissed off then because most people were saying Miami, New York, or Chicago.
It's actually good LeCrab doesn't stay in Cleveland for championship purposes. I hate him too, but being in Cleveland seriously would've wasted his prime. I do see where SoT is going, though, and I agree with that. All three players are gonna have to share the floor now, rather than put up their usual numbers consistently.
James is gonna see a huge drop in his numbers, mainly because he did literally everything for the Cavs.

But what he did to the fans of Cleveland, essentially breaking up with them on national TV to run off with the hot girl is unbelievably callous.
Unless you live in Miami, or haven't seen the reaction of some of the Cavs fans, how can you even begin to like this super team? lol, wtf. Drawn out announcement aside, you really think Lebron took a paycut solely to pimp some lifestyle? Kobe with a healthy knee, fixed hand, and summer full of rest can't even dream of stopping Miami this year. Fuck Phil Jackson, fuck Andrew Bynum, 100$ says Miami wins the NBA Finals in 2011.. or do you have just a little faith in Miami's ability to bring it "home" next year. Ehhh, just read this. No, Brian Burke (he's the GM of toronto now, you'd think you would have gotten that right) managed to draft the sedin twins 2nd and 3rd overall, starting out only with the 3rd overall pick. It sounds a lot less impressive than it was.
As for this whole LBJ thing, I've not got a whole lot to say about it. I suppose you could say it's a selfish thing to do, but I'm more of a hockey fan so I don't know much about the aspirations of basketball players. Hockey players - any of the great players, anyway - they don't play for money. They play for the cup. Taking a pay-cut to play for a cup contender is not out of the ordinary. Knowing this, I'm not surprised by LeBron's move at all. Cleveland would barely be a PLAYOFF contender if not for prince james. Going over to Miami with Wade and CB4 immediately made sense in my mind. The only thing I didn't like about the whole thang was the 1 hour ESPN special about which team he was going to sign with. Classless.

Add 2010 in there, too.
You can't honestly expect the trifecta of the Heat to do anything without at least a decent bench and two decent starters to back them up on the floor. This Heat team is definitely gonna win championships eventually, but I'm even willing to bet that their earliest championship won't come until at least the 2012-2013 season. If Pat Riley actually manages to convince Fisher to join them, then I'll be pissed lol.
Anyways, they're gonna have to mesh, and with THREE guys who are used to being the lone superstar on their respective teams putting up awesome numbers, they're gonna have to learn to cut down their stats and share the spotlight, which I seriously don't see happening anytime soon.

I really do. If he wanted to win, he would've fit better with the Chicago Bulls - who have a terrific point guards, one of the top 10 PF's in the league, and a bench that stretches 10 men deep. He could've been the best player on a team and lead them to a championship, cementing his legacy. Now he's just second banana to D-Wade, who was smart enough to convince all three of them to come to his city instead of NJ or NY.

It isn't about Cleveland, or the fans for that matter, it's about LeBron. If HE wants to go to Miami, fuck cares why? It's his choice. When the fuck was Lost ever NOT a sci-fi show? Sure some things may seem like they were pulled out of their ass, and a lot probably was, but the show was mapped out from the beginning. The black and white struggle, all the characters being intertwined... scenes in the first seasons directly relate to those is the last. MiB was in their minds from season 1, and we don't get to see him until the end of the 5th season. Lost is epic, Lost is win, Lost is God.

You should watch Lost then. Season 1 is alright, but Season 2 is where it really gets going, and 3-5 are probably my favorite collection of episodes of any show ever, besides maaaaaybe simpsons seasons 5-12. And you wont have to suffer through the torture of having to watch the last two seasons while they aired on tv.
