Me, I went to Anime Expo for the entirety of Friday (Which was really amazing), and for the rest of the weekend, I was in San Diego. Basically got drunk, played beer pong, ate an asston of food, drank more, went swimming, played Mexican Train, and watched Criminal Minds. Had a long talk about honesty with a friend to top it off yesterday.

So yeah, long story short, it was very fun. <3 Sucks you had to work on a paper after all that.

well the strange thing is, I've smoked cigs before and I can do that just fine. But when I say "first smoke" I meant pot :P. Though, it was through a bong, which I had never used before. I apparently tried to swallow rather than inhale (lolswallowjoke), which lead to my esophogus and throat feeling like it was being stripped from the inside. Would have tried again, but my throat hurt too bad. Still managed to get a little high though...heheh...

And ohmahgawd anime expo? Lucky bastard! I've made it my goal to go at least one in my lifetime. Sounds like a pretty sweet weekend (and mexican train is fun, i would assume more so whilst drunk :lol:)

It's always located in either Los Angeles or Anaheim in their respective convention centers, so next year, fly there. :P Anime Expo is the biggest anime/manga convention on the continent and one of the biggest in the world, so it's totally worth it to go at least once. Yeah, I know, hence why I want to go. And both locations are about an 8 hour drive from here... :( if only I were allowed to drive that far on my own, i so would. But I guess a plane ticket would be just as expensive and a shorter trip.

and I'm taking summer school to replace a class I failed last semester (*COUGH*) and also to boost my GPA-- the one I'm taking now is the gpa booster and it's Japanese Popular Culture. I wrote my paper on Hayao Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke and its reflection of a search for a cultural identity...it was all pretty much BS by the last paragraph lmao.

See you're a fan of rap and the lifestyle that says "I do what's right for me first, and everyone else can come second." Lebron James made a decision because he doesn't know anything but that lifestyle. But what he did to the fans of Cleveland, essentially breaking up with them on national TV to run off with the hot girl is unbelievably callous.

Ehhh, just read this. No, Brian Burke (he's the GM of toronto now, you'd think you would have gotten that right) managed to draft the sedin twins 2nd and 3rd overall, starting out only with the 3rd overall pick. It sounds a lot less impressive than it was.


As for this whole LBJ thing, I've not got a whole lot to say about it. I suppose you could say it's a selfish thing to do, but I'm more of a hockey fan so I don't know much about the aspirations of basketball players. Hockey players - any of the great players, anyway - they don't play for money. They play for the cup. Taking a pay-cut to play for a cup contender is not out of the ordinary. Knowing this, I'm not surprised by LeBron's move at all. Cleveland would barely be a PLAYOFF contender if not for prince james. Going over to Miami with Wade and CB4 immediately made sense in my mind. The only thing I didn't like about the whole thang was the 1 hour ESPN special about which team he was going to sign with. You can't honestly expect the trifecta of the Heat to do anything without at least a decent bench and two decent starters to back them up on the floor. This Heat team is definitely gonna win championships eventually, but I'm even willing to bet that their earliest championship won't come until at least the 2012-2013 season. If Pat Riley actually manages to convince Fisher to join them, then I'll be pissed lol.

I really do. If he wanted to win, he would've fit better with the Chicago Bulls - who have a terrific point guards, one of the top 10 PF's in the league, and a bench that stretches 10 men deep. He could've been the best player on a team and lead them to a championship, cementing his legacy. Now he's just second banana to D-Wade, who was smart enough to convince all three of them to come to his city instead of NJ or NY.

Fruity Loops, Audacity, Cubase, Sony Acid... all will let you edit audio clips (maybe not Fruity, but I can't see why not)... how you'll get the track as your ringtone, I'm not sure, but any of those programs will allow you to cut up audio tracks. ?

you'll have to try the demo's, however, as all but Fruity (and even Fruity has a premium service) are pay to use.

Well, I use an Ericsson phone. I just transfer it to my phone via USB, like any other mp3 file, then set it as my ringtone. Not that hard on an Ericsson, but I guess you're using an iPhone or BB?
