I know quite a few girls who don't bother with makeup and they look great as they are. Sometimes I even find myself makeup-less, which can be soo much better than wearing all this crap on your eyes all the time.
Personally, I think girls are most attractive with their natural beauty - no makeup, nail polish or anything, just how they look. Of course, that's just my own preference.

And I agree that heavy, garish makeup is only acceptable on halloween and if you're a tramp.

But as a rule, lots of makeup will get the girl a bit of attention (like showing skin) but personally, I get over it pretty fast. It'd be like eating two minute noodles, you're full for a bit, but it doesn't last long and you want something decent.

I'm all for wearing makeup, but not tons and tons of it. I like it to be classy..not heavy. And I agree about the foundation, I like the effect it can have on your skin (when it's put on properly!) A lot of how someone looks with makeup depends on how well you apply it, too.
Im happy someone liked it. And as others have said a small amount of makeup is fine. Too much=tramp and too little= insecurity(sometimes) and ugliness(sometimes).

I also personally thinks it depends on the girl. Some girls looks great with make up, other looks prettier with out them.

On a side note, there is a girl I'm thinking very much about asking out. It's only been a little over two months since I met her in class in college, but we've been talking and hanging out as though it's been two years (she's slept over at my dorm a few times).
I don't know though... she's the closest and best friend I've made in college and I feel so comfortable talking to her about anything - we've both acknowledged that the way we've become friends is really unique, now that we're pretty close in such a small amount of time. Would it jeopardize things if I asked her out?

I had a similar situation, and I definitely agree with what's already been done. Just do it, say how you feel, don't be afraid. If you're good enough friends, you'll stay friends even if she says no. Being honest is the best thing that's ever happened to me. In ways it can be a curse because it opens you up to the world of gossip and deceit. But if you trust her, just do it. Good luck.

If the guy want to remain as friends then so be it. :3
I personally think that no serious relationship is made during the middle school and high school years because your body is still adjusting to the changes. Also the fact that usually high school couples breaks up more often than not. If the guy doesn't and can't think of the girl as a date then fine. Don't force him or peer pressure him into saying 'yes' if he doesn't want to.
On another note, the girl might be trying to use SoT by making her own bf jealous so her bf would do something to change the part the girl doesn't like.

Girls can get pretty darn multiplicative at times and I had already a friend who had suffer through being manipulated... it was not pleasant.
Basicly what you want to do is to figure out how you feel to her. Do you like her friends? Her attitude? Her personality? balance the pro and cons and see which one you want. Or just hang out with her more to see...
Anyway, just don't be rash, people make stupid mistakes while being rash.

Harrum...I seem to be having issues with being happy with any guy I date. No one seems to "fit". The longest relationship I've had in the past year is about a month, and the shortest being two days. Perhaps I'm just not finding the right person, but I know I've found that kinda guy before, and all my friends seem capable of doing so as well, so why can't I now?
All I request is that whoever "he" is, he's smart, accepts me for who I am (and all the mistakes I've made in the past/bad habits), and is funny. Is that too much to ask? :/

because the hot girls are full of themselves and everyone loves a hot girl. Hot girls have no way to sense inner beauty, and are just superficial trash--therefore, they're taken by superficial trash as well. (aka the dumb, shalow, yet hot guys, and in some cases just plain dumb and shalow guys)
Whilst the nice and beautiful girls (on the inside) are simply plain janes, and don't look anything astonishing. They are too shy to open up, and guys simply look past them because they're not the "hot girls". So, the nice boys and girls don't notice each other, or do, but are milions of miles away, connecting through an online forum for an outdated game.

2) Show off, a fight between two girls might be to throw their charms around to get more 'fanboys' It might be used as a battle tactic to win a guy's affection.

Also, it's getting pretty frustrating seeing girls get labeled with the skank tag. What makes a girl a skank in your eyes? To some, it's girls who sleep around with other guys. But when a girl sleeps with you, she's not a skank. You say these girls are no good, but it's guys with the attitude of "one night stands" that are perpetuating this kind of behavior. Yes, the girls need to keep their panties on, but guys need to start taking some responsibility for the "skankiness" of girls out there.
One more thing: going off of what Xelina has already stated, some "hot" girls are just modest.

Maybe they "dis on the prettier ones" because yes, they ARE jealous that some total whore is getting praised for something she didn't even do (Like she was the one who chose out her appearance as a fetus?), while the "Boring" girls BUST THEIR ASSES trying to get someone to notice them for the BEAUTIFUL person they are INSIDE.

True. However, Fox is just trying to make the point that not ALL hot girls are whores, skanks, etc., etc. like a lot of people make them out to be. Yes, stereotypes can have some truth to them, but only some; they're not completely right.

I dont even find the skanks hot at all. They're all funk-ugly without all the make-up on, while theres 2 or 3 girls I know who have great personality and are all naturally beautiful.

Plus, you want some experience once your "perfect" girl comes by.

I could argue that in so many ways, but I actually agree. I know it seems contradictory, but there are some nicer girls out there who would like to just have a good time.
Not that I know that from experience or anything... ^^;

NOW THAT was some wisdom. I only hope that these other little boys will someday begin to grow up like you :)
...now that I re-read that sentence, I find it slightly disturbing, yet incredibly hilarious. So I think I shall leave it :]

Boring? Maybe it's because she's too afraid to open up because of all the SHALOW arses out there. Maybe they "dis on the prettier ones" because they see how they abuse their beauty.
Looks aren't everything, but there has to be attraction. I prefer cute girls for sure rather than a hot blonde. Id rather pick the cute petite asian girl with glasses thats into anime rather than a girl thats on the cheerleading squad. Id get along better with her, have more in common and enjoy being around her more. Im just saying girls with looks aren't boring like some of the nerdier girls, I'm not saying all nerdier girls are boring though. :P
I care about looks, because its human nature to find a mate thats attractive to pass your genes on with.

Of course, if you can find a cheerleader that's into anime, then you really win. Although, if she also likes video games, then thats even better.

I like blondes more. Might just be because I'm white.

I predict that I shall be flamed as being shallow by the female members now.

If I settle down, I would never go with a 'cheerleader', or a girl for her looks. Looks will never be the deciding factor, but personality. I want someone I can call my girlfriend and bestfriend.
Moral of the story: Hot girls are for one night stands, and people who cannot control their hormones! ^_~

Here is my point, players = bad. nice guy = good.
Mine choice of a guy would be a nice quite and reasonable guy that is smart with an average body. I don't like guys who are flamboyant and loud. Girls like guys who is on the quite side hand is sweet and treats the girl like a person not a thing.
By the way you are all talking, you are talking as if girls are just everyday common objects then a person. I am quite complied to say that girls are not just something you guys can screw around with. I'm quite ashamed to know that is what you all think girls are, just an everyday object. By the way you guys are going, I doubt you are going to get a decent girlfriend any time soon.

I'm not a player by any means. You also have to remember culture plays a big part in what you consider sleazy. European girls are sterotypically sleazy while in Asia girls are very conservative. Here in the US, were pretty old school.
I like asian girls, a lot have a sense of nerdiness about them I love.
