Let me give you the advantage and disadvantages Icy.

Advantages:
1) You aren't distracted by the opposite sex, except the hot female teachers. (dunno, could be a disadvantage too ;_^_^
2) There's no girls to compete over, so you wouldn't feel left out if a girl you are attracted to chooses another guy.
3) I think you generally do better due to less distractions.
4) I think you generally make better buddy friends cuz there's no girl to steal the thunder. lol, it's so surprising how things change when girls are in the equation. I myself have hardly talk to some of my old friends due to girls in college x.x

Disadvantages
1) Hard to find a girl if you're looking for one.
2) Guys are guys. You'll have to conform to the countless amout of sex and pornography discussions

SO. Last night I went to formal, and this guy I kinda like (His name is Luke. Irony, right?) danced with me toward the end. I know he likes me, but then we slow danced, and it was all akward. I couldn't look at his face for some reason, so I put my head on his shoulder, but I think that gave off the wrong message (that it seemed like I like him more than I actually do). But then I had to go and be a stupid confusing biatch and when he gave me a hug before I had to leave (my parents were picking me up. Lame, I know.) I kissed him on the cheek. But I don't even think I want a relationship with him, I just like him a little. I know he's liked me for a while (Each time I've danced with him at Homecoming he always develops a crush on me) and then around december I started to like him a little too, but I'm afraid it's much less than he likes me.

Gah! It's so confusing. I mean, I've been wanting for the longest time to fall in love, but once I'm given the oportunity, I scream and run the other way. I'm not sure if it's that I'm afraid of commitment or what. I mean, he's really nice and isn't afraid to be himself like most guys I know, but I just can't see him being the boyfriend type, much less myself being his girlfriend. And I know I totally gave off the wrong signals.
