Is Bronzong the steel-psychic type? If so, Dark moves would only be regularly effective, I think, because steel is still slightly resistant to Dark IIRC. (how Steel is resistant to Dark is beyond me)

Go with the fire type, and don't ever use abomisnow. His type matchup is HORRIBLE.

I guess it's strange. Dialga and Palkia have 30% catch rates, and that's pretty high for a legendary. =P

You encounter them at a relatively early point in the game, and catching (or at least fighting) them is a requirement to advance the plot that's a bit of a break with tradition, so they had to soften them up a little bit.

Actually, they're caught at a pretty late point in the game. You need 7 badges to get to fight Team Galactic for the last time and fight/capture Dialga/Palkia. Remember Zapdos and Articuno? They're caught earlier in-game, and they're harder to catch, not to mention they're at a higher level.

But many of the other legendaries that you can catch after you get the national dex are just as hard to catch as Mewtwo and Raquaza ever were. It took me forever to catch Regigigas and Cresslia.

Well, I just took on the Elite Four. With a level 50 team. Whoops. I beat the four with a million hyper potions and some luck, but man, the Champion pwnzorzed me. And I never even used Weaville, cause he sucks. I mean, he was just my "take a hit so I can revive someone else" Pokemon. A level 35 Machoke can kill it in one hit! Anyway, I need a replacement. A level 50 team is enough. >.> I suggest using one or two of the Lake Spirits. Azelf is VERY helpful in causing damage, and Uxie can wall things very well with Amnesia. Heck, I beat Cynthia's Milotic because my Uxie used Amnesia to the max and took virtually no damage from Milotic's attacks.

I think my team is in the low 40's. I BARELY got to the 4th guy, and then he laughtered me. The guy I use as a scapegoat for healing the most, is probably empoleon, since he can take the most hits in my party. Either that, or my ponyta since it ain't worth a hill a beans (and I don't mean magic beans, I mean the disgusting bean thingies that taste nasty. Whatever those are).

Using Uxie against Milotic took forever. Because Milotic's Special Defense is high, and Uxie's Specail Attack is sub-par, my Uxie couldn't cause much damage. Then again, it took so many hits because I boosted its Special Defense so much. =P

I'm surprised Pinsir didn't have an evolution this generation.

Sweeps the 3rd - 5th trainers. Always DD up at least twice on the first pokemon out (except for Mr. Mime, it has Thunderbolt) and then pick your moves so they are SE. If every move is neutral, use Waterfall because it gets STAB.

That, and you will sweep whole teams.

Empoleon also benefits from taking normal damage from electric attacks. On the other hand, it's suceptable to ground attacks. But, it's type setup is great at taking damage. Combine that with a lot of defense and Special defense, and you've got yourself a decent wall.

Wrong, Empoleon takes super-effective damage from Electric attacks. Remember, Steel isn't resistant in any way to Electric. :ph34r:

An egg move is a move the a poke will have out of the egg as a result of breeding. If bred correctly, a poke could begin with very powerful moves that it would not have access to otherwise. If that makes any sence.

4) The first two words you tell him are “everyone” and “happy“.

Anyways, the main point of it is to act as a storage, especially to people like me who collect ****loads of Pokemon and eventually run out of box space. The cool thing about it, though, is that you can trade for Pokemon with moves that they can only have by being traded for at Pokemon Ranch. Apparently, you can also get a Mew and a Manaphy.

Only good feature mentioned. I liked the underground. Wi-Fi is an obvious extention to it.

But what the hell's with all these new "forms"? Deoxys was the first to have different forms if I'm correct, so now they're copying it?

And all the new pogeymans look like freaking robots. Almost all of them have sharp angles and stuff. WHAT HAPPENED TO EFFING PIKACHU MAN?! WHY CAN'T THEY JUST CHANGE HIS COLOR AND CALL IT A NEW POGEYMAN?!

Why Crystal specifically? If they were to remake the Generation 2 games, they would presumably only do two games, like with FireRed and LeafGreen. Anyway, I've kinda gotten into Pokemon again recently for no apparent reason (seriously, I just started playing Diamond again because I was bored and then all of a sudden I was buying PMD2 and humming the original theme song). I don't know if I'll get Platinum though, I like some of those new things, but to be honest I dunno if any of them are worth buying a whole new game when I already have Diamond. I wouldn't have bought Emerald either if I hadn't lost my copy of Ruby.

Platinum would certainly be a fun playthrough, but not for the price, and I wouldn't make it my main game at all. I'm in the (very slow) process of leveling up all of my pokemon in Pearl to something ridiculous, and having another game just to beat once doesn't really seem worth it.

if only it was all on emulator. that's where i first played Emerald (the only game ive played from that generation) and im really glad i never had to pay for it. was not impressed.

Who'd want a pokemon thingy running around saying it's own name all the time. Doesn't Ash get tired of hearing pikachu all the time? Ash always gets his pokemon to do all HIS work for him.

No one has actually created a decent DS emulator yet, at the moment there kinda crappy and often need a decent computer to run them, best DS emulator I've used is NO%GBA, given by the title it is also a GBA emulator (Well i think it is, says it plays them, iv never tried)
