Those 2 are simple, but very nice. The top gets a 7 from me, would have been better, but I don't like that shade of aqua. Bottom gets an 8.5. Very nice, text should be made easier to read though.

Lol. For the background I just got a colorful picture and altered it with many filtering/blending techniques.

Blending the picture: I just got a picture of Bakura from Yu-gi-oh, cut him out and stuck it onto my background. Then I feather blended the image into the background while changing the picture blending options to luminosity. I added my name and "wind awaker" to the banner and I added I faded white stripe near the bottom while setting it to overlay/opacity 30%.

That's all really. Not hard.

bg is good, great even, but the scanlines make it look a little less IMO. render is great, I like the grey part on the right.

I doesn't really need to be improved. I rated it to how I like its looks. I also rated it for its size and its dimensions. It looks great. No big changes are needed. Besides Iam not a pro at this. Maybe you should ask someone who knows about banners to rate it like Agatio and Neo.

It's 400x80, should be 480x60, that's the standard size for signature banners.
Image is overall nice, but the top and bottom margin things are kind of a distraction. Nice work all the same though.
