Ok, get an image, and delete everything around it leaving everything but your character transparent.
Then make a new image, about the size of a regular signature (500x100 or something like that)
Fill that image white, or make a bg depending on what you want.
Make a new image (transparent) the same width as your background, but tall anough so the character can pop out.
Cut and paste your background onto the blank image, placing it at the bottom.
Vut and paste your character over the background, so it's head, shoulders etc poke out the top.

Something like Anubis's, Issac Zero2's memories remains's etc.

Remember, you must save as a .GIF!!!

Resize the image, and then in your avatar settings, set those dimensions again. For some reason it auto stretches. I had that problem when I had a 77x100 avatar.

She's considered one of the best at designing in A4 which is the biggest anime forums ever with over 15000 registered members and since I post there alot I decided to make an anime club which I stated that anyone willing to form a partnership can pm me. You're quite right. I thought that it didn't suit visible pixel text really. It just doesn't blend in with the banner so I thought, better to make it subtle instead. Gives it more of a feel if you ask me. So yes it wasn't supposed to be that readable.

Not Ripped dude. The Whole thing is one pic (Including the background), just cropped and a bit of text here and there. Simplicity defined.

FGX - new avatar rocks - its like you but a dark you. That image is just the symbol of "FGX" so you couldnt change it but the modifications are nice. 9/10

Celestial Paladin: It's actually very nice! Nice image and border, and the text on it is cool too. Easy 9/10 - nice one.

Linear: you change these too often e.e - XD; even so, its another nice one, the only flaw is that the word "hope" is a little hard to make out due to the blending of colours. Otherwise a good one - 8.8/10

Watch: I know you've done something to it and i can see the difference but i'll be damned as to exactly what XD; It seems to stand out more though - 8/10

El Sethro - sorry it took so long to get to you - yours is decidedly freaky but i like it. Black and whiteness is cool and the overall pic is nice 8.5/10

That's a quirk with ImageReady. It seems that if you have it produce just the image without any accompanying HTML, it'll be pretty slow. That particular animation only has 32 frames, so it should've been pretty quick. It still needs tweaking, and I guess I'll need to redo it to have maybe ± 20 frames.

Meh, I'm still learning the ins and outs of ImageReady, so things I make would be innately flawed as I don't have a strong grasp on most of its tools.

ImageReady has that feature. A delay between frames, right? I set mine with no delay and made a lot of frames to make the animation as smooth as possible. It looked fine in ImageReady, but I guess web browsers don't like it. Anyway, I'll be sticking to ImageReady, since Adobe products are among the best in the industry.

I13- I have to disagree there with you guys about the image. The Link and the clouds image is fine IMO, but it's the text which ruins it. I'm wondering, did you use one of the free internet fonting services because they ruin images when used. Download some new font from dafont.com. But yes, too much text, image may even be a bit too big and yes, you have to rate too. 4.5/10
