Make is smaller to begin with. The width is O.k. but the it is too high. Make is 150 pixels max. Second, try making a better text. This one is too simple; get a better font, try something like borders or other special effects. Make it fit with the signature itself. But it's not a complete failure as a first try :D

Yeah, that's basically what I thought the problems with it were. I know it's too tall, the original image is far taller. And I personally like the font, but I can see how it doesn't really fit. I will try to make it better, but no promises. I probably need an image of a better size, I just really liked this one.

Felix, your set is basic but it's great for a first time. To be honest, you're not too far off from a great set if you make the sig image smaller and choose a better font. 7.5/10

Sorry Coco-san, but I'm not really fond of yours :D. I'll give you a few tips.

First, lower the opicity of the grid. At this point it's far too overwhelming. Next try to spice up the background a bit. At this point I can only see clouds. The text is kinda good, but only for the Yuki part, the "warrior of the snow" is kinda hard to read.

Zexion: The whole 'cutting out pieces of the avatar and signature' is nice, but a little overdone in your case, like Wiflewood said, it's a bit too complex. Also, the text is pretty hard to read in your signature (though that's not the case for the avatar). Again, like Wiflewood said, the contrast and saturation are a bit high as well. It's a good concept, just poorly executed.

Cheers mate. Cropped metal cover art always works a treat for me. I know the font is unoriginal, and I would have liked to use the font that the band uses on their shirts (for the same lyric), but I'm a lazy ******* as we all well know.

Sea_of_Time: Works together nicely, but the avatar would have been nice if you cropped the center of the signature image and used the same outer border (just an idea if you want to consider it in the future). Also, the signature is really quite big (both the image, and the overall height of the signature itself) which detracts from your overall set I think.

Already love the sig, its well balanced, well designed, and well planned out. The black and white balance, and are nicely placed into the sig. The avatar matches well into the sig, and is also very well done and nicely flowing.

The text stands out, being complete opposite color from its background, and the border is very nice.

What I dont like (and this is my opinion, no reason to kill me) is the areas where there are complete places of darkness, and nothing more. Its a wasted space in my opinion~~ But its not noticiable enough to be critical~ :D

Your sig is beautifully amazing, with its vibrant colors that just stand out! The text blends well with the overall feel and design of the sig. The character is also blended very well. The avvy is similar, but still unique, to the sig. Its a well designed set overall.

But there are some things that just stood out. This is only my opinion, dont take it heavily First of all, the character is very dark at the bottom left. Its not very compliant to the vibrant explosion of color I see in the rest of the sig. Also the bottom right corner has a face. I think the face is misplaced, and almost random. It doesn't necessarily fit into the sig well, and therefore seems like a merger (a technical term for something that interferes and isn't meant to be).

Overall, with the explosions of color, and the beautiful design, yet the small imperfections, Its an 8/10 in my book :DD~

Its a .JPEG, and there is some fuzzy Jpeg artifact around the text especially. Save it as a .PNG and it will keep its quality whilst still being a relatively small file size. Apart from that though It's not bad.

Arcsoft PhotoStudio 5. It's not made by Adobe, it's made by Arcsoft. I'm not quite sure when we got it, but it's been there for a year or so now. It's a lot like Photoshop CS2, but doesn't have nearly as many filters, and not as many tools. It does have a few things Photoshop doesn't have though. By the way, the dorder is white. It was meant for a darker colored board, so I didn't add the typical black outline.

It's pretty good, but NFS part is a little...weird. I probably would have left the opacity up. Both get an 8/10.
