Its better quality than the last one thats for sure. A bit scratchy round the outline but apart from that it lookes good. I don't think it needs a border either. I don't care much for quotes in sigs unless they're presented in an image really. Yours ins't very funny or awe-inspiring really and makes you look like a bit of a n00b. It also doesn't make sense, as it reads as if the 'Age of Robotica' is a 'being'.

The Avatar, though non-correspondent to the signature makes me chortle. (Big words ^^) So thus, I must give thy chortleness (sounds like some sort of Pokemon XD) a 7/10 for thy avatarity.

The signature is pretty, but a border would look nice, along with some "Dazzle" effect. Like brushing it with photoshop or something to spiff it up. But I don't think you really care :P So yeah, 6/10.

The set doesn't really go, except for you've got a medieval lady (er, man?) and a castle, so I'll rate a...hmm...4/10.

I thought the color schemes matched. Not enough, I guess, but I just don't like using the same image for a sig and av. Feels lazy to me, I just like to see what I can do with colors instead of what I can do with one image, if that makes sense.

MA: Triforce theme here. The sig is too big, and the avatar looks smooshed. The avatar does appear to contain boobies, so points for that. I do like the triforce theme, but see if you can get a different image for the sig and try to un-squish the avatar, or get a new one. 4.5/10 for a potentially good theme.

Will this do? I wasn't sure of the scheme or layout you were looking for, so I took artistic license to it.

My philosophy for borders? The border is decided by the image used in the sig. If the image is good/awesome/whatever, use a small border that doesn't distract, but still makes it look better. A sing;e px wide border will do, either colored to compliment the picture, or black. Use black if it's a bit darker, but not if it's really dark. If the image isn't awesome, or if it's just sub par, it needs a fancy two px wide border. The outer border is usually black, while the inner one is either colored, or faded from one tone to another.
sigs full of black should have a 2px wide black and white border. The avie's border must always match the sig's border, unless the sig is mostly black while the avie is lighter in color.

Those are the rules I apply when makeing borders.

Don't rate this set as it's been rated many, many times already. I'm working on a new one (yes, it's still gonna have a car), so just wait.

@ Toasty, you need to learn to use something other than cars. The novelty of cars in a person's set has sort of worn off for this forum. Though I do like how you used the colors, orange is the opposite of blue and therefore they make an artistic contrast.

Charlotte Aulin and Jonathon Morris, both from Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, my favourite game ever.

They're blurred because it's very difficult to cut them out from a intricate background, and there was a bit of bits that looked odd, so I just blurred them to make them look smoother.


FD, simple and effective. I like it. Though when I first looked at it, it looked like Raming Duck. It's also hard to see that second figure. 8.5/10

Caael - Not a bad sig, but the render and background do not fit, both thematicly and by color. Try to create a color balance over it, and try to soften the edges of the render a bit. Maybe by using another blending mode or creating a new layer, brush some and then put that on Overlay of Soft Light. 7/10

Sorry, I meant the heights; the avatar is 100 pixels, the sig nature is 90. Not a huge difference, but it's noticeable, and making the avatar 90 by 90 would match it and streamline the entire set. A subtle, but worthwhile difference in my opinion.

Did I rate you Caael? Oh well. Same thing GL says, it's a 9/10. It's very good, but not mind-numbingly so. Not as great as my old BioShock set at least. :P But that's impossible.

GL- Thank you, thank you, thank you for removing the list of music... it was unnecessary and took up too much space. I give your set an 8.5/10. It's a great set and I like the bright colors, matching with your name "Golden". However, it's ancient, I've seen it a lot, and the avatar is using a snippet of the same image used in your sig.

So this is an old set. I'm using it again because it was popular before and I'm fond of it myself. The only difference is I tweaked the brightness on the sig to match the avatar a little more, you guys may or may not remember that the sig was darker than the av.

Well now your av is using less (smaller) pixels and loses some of the texture it had when it was bigger. Go back and crop the extra space as GL said instead of shrinking it.

ICY GETS A 8/10 for her set. Good, but could be better. Something in the colors. Maybe a better use of contrast. White contrasts with black, orange contrasts with blue, green contrasts with red. So you either need to use orange instead of red, or some green to contrast with the red. I'm sure you could figure something out.

Rate me. I'm pretty damn happy with the sig, but the avatar was last-minute. Plus it's hard to see a matching avatar in an overlay of a game logo and some wreckage on a shoreline. I might put in a border later.

Pretty nice work. The sig is a work of art. Your avatar is has merit in a technical sense, but it's difficult to tell what exactly you're trying to show. Clearly some sort of hiker in a cave, but I can only speculate beyond that.
