Fighting mushmoms depend on what class you have to be. Mages and Bowmen can solo it in their early 40s, Assassins and Bandits in their mid 40s, and Warriors in their mid 50s (you stop missing them a little after level 60).

You raise dex two times your lvl and rest into luk, put into keen eyes, nimble body and lucky seven. Disorder or Darksight is your choice, I chose darksight being is how punching is worthless to me anyways.

It comes down to preference me thinks. If you want to gallabant around the world at 140% the speed of other mapler's, max haste first. But If you want to do some nice damage, go critical shot.

I have 35 fame right now..not that much...anywho.

Well I think the end of my MS'ing is comming, a friend of mine since level 10 asked if he could try my slain and tobi. Being is how ive known this person since lvl 10 I agreed, he was a banditsin and wanted to see what damage he could deal. Well, he took off with my stuff and hasnt been logged on for a day and a half now. So, I think Im done. I was too poor as it was to afford such a large blow like this.

Don't Laugh.

I deleted ALL of my MS characters, sold ALL of my items, ores, weapons, armor, stars, EVERYTHING to the NPC's. Started a new character. I want to start a brand new character and just use one char on MS, and just focus on that one.

Anubis, that is by far the smartest thing you have ever, EVER done (though, you should of sold your star's to people, not computerised people) .
What you have done, I learn't the hard way: Don't start heap's of character's or you'll never get anywhere with any of them.

Im the kind of person that, if I found a set of ilbi's, would start a claw-rogue just to use them, instead of Selling them for 30 mil-ish. Very stupid in my opinion, but I'd still do it. >_>

Dude, I had items I could have sold for 300-500K but I just NPC'd all of it. I was gonna cry as I sold each item to the shop for tiny ammounts of money. Oh and my HUGE ore collection, I had tons and tons of all the good ores but I just NPC'd then again... :blink:

After selling everything all I got was 500K from it all.

That is good for a n00by begginer though...VERY good. And, making new charcters is fun, because you have stuff to look foward to, like job advancement. After level 30, there are no job advancements and that is what really pushes me foward to lveling.

There is job advances after lv 30. They just arn't out in oMS yet. What pushes me to level is the lust to get haste maxed out.

I think you start looking at Maple Story in a whole different level beginning at level 50 to 60. Indescribable, I think, but Maple Story becomes a different game when you're out of your low levels. Also he tells me that regarding the overcrowding, they have multiple servers on standby - as the users come, so will the servers, as you see by the inclusion of the new world, Broa (thankfully placed in the FIRST SLOT of servers to choose). He thinks it's sad that he has seen posts telling people not to play MS because of overcrowding, so they're working hard to make sure it is not an issue.

He is also thankful for sites such as this one, that help the MS community grow. :)


Basically, he had a lot to say and he said it very concisely and intelligently. It is reassuring to me, although I know lots of people will be angry about 2x even though it is not decided. I am thankful he took the time to reply to my message, and even more thankful that he took the time to go into detail about everything I mentioned. It shows that they do care, just that their ideas may not always be on target with what everyone wants - but not everyone can be happy, it's never possible.

$1 is obviouslt 1000 nx cash. Because if $5 is 5000 points, $10 is 10000 points, and $30 is 30000 points. But you can't buy 1000 points, nothing is worth less than 1000 points except using leaves, snoflakes, or the fluffy snow, where you can put messages in...XD, it is fun.

Leveling with the 2x cards would cause dependency. I will agree with that, but also making it so you need 1 million exp to level to lvl 60 is alot. Especially being is how the strongest you can train against*train, not hope to kill* is worth 220 exp.

I agree, that would be hard. Currently, I need 350k exp to level from 42 to 43. Now, fighting evil eyes gives me 50 exp per kill (2HKO) So technically, fighting something worth 150 exp would leave you in the same boat as me. Provided you kill whatever it is in 2 hits. So killing something with 220 exp has you, a lv 59 sin training faster than a lv 42 Cleric. But from what I can gather, this sounds pretty hard.

I need 2.78 million experience to level. The fastest I can kill is 190 experience for every 2 hits. I kill an enemy once every 6 seconds. How long will it take me to level up? :)

Phantom, can you give me tips where to train? I don't know where to train and it sucks!!! It sucks how the monsters that I can kill in 1 hit only give me .04% and zombie mushrooms which I can't kill in 1 hit only give me .05%.

Oh, I am an assasin, I love the range. And my guy is really weak, I can't even kill Zombi Mushrooms in one hit, well sometimes, and the only give me .05% It takes forEVER to grow 5%...>_> I do about 400 dmage each hit with lucky seven..total

Anything I kill gives .01 lol. Remember though, if you cant kill in 2 or less hits, dont train in that spot. So, I recommend maybe horn mushrooms to make some cash for some stars. Or wildboars if your up to it.

I always wanted to be an assassin. But I always, always got stuck at the low 20's. Everytime. And seeing you phantom at lv 60 really makes me want to try one again.

Dammit. I have to make one now.

The only thing holding you back is money, I would make it on Scania with your cleric so it can have some support for ninja stars etc. Sins dont get really expensive till your in the mid 40's when you need to start investing in a workglove, scrolls for your claw and better stars. My biggest advice I can ever give that most guides wont tell you is do not invest in stars at an early level. Worry about your gear, and get Kumbi. Kumbi are becoming very cheap and have the same attack as icicles which now sell for 550k, compared to the kumbi which are 250k.

And the mid 20's are hard for assassins, you are still very weak (Unless you have top of the line gear) and mages are in thier prime of strength. So you will be getting ksed no matter where you go. Another key is to not level up Lucky Seven past 10 until you are in your mid 20's, this will save you ALOT of money on MP Pots.

Another rough time is lower to mid 30's, where you have to train at places that are extremely crowded. But when you hit level 40 man...YOU are in YOUR prime, Copper Drakes are the most fun Ive had in a LONG time. Not to mention you look bad ass if your wearing dark shadow set with a dark advarice.

Training on hectors from level 57-60 was the best thing that ever happened to me. I found 9 Sets of kumbi ninja stars, 8 green napoleons, a bronze crusader helm, 3 maroon moonlight tops (Female) and 2 pairs of maroon moonlight pants. I have NPCed the moonlight gear (Female gear is not only hard to sell, but really cheap and not worth the time most cases) Gave the crusader helm to gir, my warrior friend. But the kumbi are the best part, I was able to sell my icicles since I had enough stars without them, making me nearly 2 mil. The green naps I found 4 above average 2 average and 2 below average, the below being NPCed. I am currently selling 4 sets of kumbi at 250k each, if anyone would like to buy.

Nice man, you are doing great. And where can I fight a LOT of horny mushrooms. Becuase, this place is the only that I know of and that's why I am here.
And everyone says pqs suck. Well, Because of them, I have not spent 1 meso on mp potions because of them. I still have 208 of the normal ones. Like 120 mane elixers, well, 100 because of a quest. And 58 or 57 pure waters. And many HP potions!!!

Go 3 maps east of Henesys, then go to a signpost on an "island" that spawns blue mushrooms in that huge map you encounter and press up. And there you are!

And are you kidding me? Assassins and mages are the easiest to train in the early levels. Not only do they have aids of stars and magic, they have a maxed 60% mastery before level 30, so you get instantly stable damage immediately.

How do assassin's get 60% mastery before lv 30? I assume it has something to do with Lucky 7, but from memory, that only gives you a 150% damage bonus. Please explain.

I said low 20's when you have to train on horn mushrooms, which are extremely populated by mages. You cant sit here and tell me that mages are weaker than an assassin at level 20. Mages are known to be the strongest at that time of the game. And at lower 30's, I didnt say they sucked at training, I said that the spots they should train at have ALOT of people. If you havent noticed, probably 60% of the people in the game are thieves or mages.

And Memorys, they have 60% mastery because Lucky Seven ignores javelin mastery. And its standard mastery of the skill is 60%

I gave up on that stupid Silver Snowboard earlier today. 450k exp from Evil Eye's was slow, boring as hell and ****ing fustrating when I'd get square earring drop every 10 minutes. I'll just buy one of the freakin things. Screw it.

In other news, I sold (NPCed) my hoard of useless equips that I couldn't be bothered selling to player's. I couldn't part with my beloved Dark Orientican though.

Assassins are not hard to level in the early 20s. This is in comparison to warriors, bandits, and archers. All of them are harder to level than assassins at that time.

okay, the map that is right before u reach ellinia forest, you goto the very top platform that spawns like 2 blue mushrooms, it will have a sign that is just wooden and small, it doesnt say anything, then press up on it

They basically allow you to do damage that you would be doing if you were ten level's higher. Or near enough anyway.

Erm, no your not. All the luck mages need is [your lv]+[3] (To equip stuff).
What drugs are you on? The only thing wrong with my mage is the 6/6 for Strength and Dexterity (Rendering me -4 INT ~ouch). My luck changed though. My Assassin rolled a 4/4 for Str and Int in like 5 go's. Real happy about that.
