Well I got SOME things back now... But I just lost every equipment and other things... I now have: some n00b items, Karl Sword, that brown armor I like :) , brown archer pants, and a red baseball cap... I just got some 1,7k and I died like 2 minutes ago...

I don't really understand it... but it looks like they're hosting the same game on a different site. Signups are open too. I'm downloading the installer from the site to see if it's the same game or not. I think it is, but it might be a different game but with the same gameplay, if you know what I mean. I would've logged in with my same account that has WDClone, but the login page isn't working. ~_~

EDIT: Okay, I've looked round their forums and it looks like a new game with the same gameplay we all know and love. ;) In other words, it's a fresh new start to the MS World, everyone is a n00b again. It's not connected to the current Maple Story. I'm going to download it; I want to be in an MS World without any high-level mages...

That reminds me, if you don't know already MapleSea is affiliated with MapleGlobal. MapleSea is produced by both AsiaSoft and Wizet, so you don't have to worry about them using the information about you for the wrong reasons. (although asking for a Social Security number is a bit... much...)

Yay my charater DiddyKong2 (bowman) is now lvl 25! :D I bought the new bow but i kept the old Brown Hardleather and my good old Brown Leather Pants because I LOVE THOSE! :D :) :D Well it makes me look like a monkey, many people have famed me because I look like Diddy alot.

Oh BTW: The highest damage I ever did was 490! :lol: It was agains a little green snail and I hitted him with my lvl 15 Arrow Blow :D

Lvling takes too damn long, and if you mess up your stats or skills you're like, screwed for good.

Maybe if the Cash Shop or Ossyria opens I'll play again, otherwise I doubt I'll ever do so.

It depends. I have a circle of friends I play with each time. It's really really fun when we get together because we create all kinds of trouble. If leveling would was to be easy, then the game wouldn't really be that interesting. If you get to that really high level by yourself, you would acknowledge the effort you put in building your character, which is a possibility for a higher satisfaction.

Also remember this is only the beta testing. ^_~ I'm sure there will be much more additions to it when the full version is complete.

It's just like any other MMORPG except it's side-scrolling; so you're area, level, items, everything is saved automatically when you log out, if that's what you're talking about. So when you log in you're at the beginning of the certain map you were in.

Balrogs usually come every time you take the ship to or from Ossyria. It's recommended that you stay below decks during flight so you don't get hit. (he usually will kill you in one hit, but warriors can survive with their high defense... barely...)

Heh, a similar thing happened to me, I saw the Balrog, went inside, and told all the people he was out there. Everyone went outside to look. We see him, but all the sudden he takes a dive at us and everyone all tries to get in at the same time. =P Thankfully, no one dies.

It's magical moments like that that makes MapleStory a good game. XD

Where is your MapleStory folder? Find it, and go to Setup. (I think it's in the start menu as well) You should be able to take it from there.

So you already have DirectX 9, (which is the latest driver) so I guess that your current graphics card is too old.

You'd be surprised, Mystic Warrior is at lvl 40. =P Level 35-ish is considered to be high lvl. 20 is okay, but not enough to gain alot of respect from other players.

Is that the one near Lith, Henesys and Kerning? if it is i'm going there! just about 20%past lv 16, been looking for a good place. At orssria right now, everything is so strong and the armour is so far past me.

BTW for new people that are going to be playing Maple Story... PLEASE consider giving the Archer class a chance, and consider not being a mage.

Why?

1) There are VERY few archers in Maple. I don't know why either... archer has always been a good class to me.

2) Mages are an EXTREMELY overused class. Almost every other player in the game is a mage.

3) Mages are kinda tough to be anyway, particularily for new comers who don't entirely know how to play Maple.

So what exactly are the classes? I know ther is warrior, archer, mage, etc, but what are the more advanced classes?

Believe me, Izar, it's worth it. It can be a pain to register and to get it running but it is ALOT of fun, particularily with some good buds.

Classes go like this. There are 4 base classes in the game, but as you get stronger you can get a "promotion" or advancement for your class. There are 3 different advancements for Wiz and Warrior and 2 different advancements for Archer and Theif. Each use different skills. It's best to do a bit of research on each job and their advancement before choosing. Remember, there is NO best class or advancement, it's just a matter of personal taste.

Hmmm. Well there are more Dark Knights as far as I know. You seem to be really into religion so I think you'd be happiest with Holy/Religious magic. Thus, Paladins.

Like I said, whatever seems best you. Better know soon though, some people can get to lvl 30 fast. I slow down in the mid-twenties. =(

Watch never go to Pig Beach as a archer. It's hard form you there because there are many pigs and you need to attack them from a distance and that's hard with so many pigs.

Experience: Mass partying will never last more than an hour. At least one person will have to go, followed by a chain event. I once got an assassin with haste, cleric with heal, fighter with rage, and killed maladies with them. Another time was at fire drakes. Both times, all of them went within 20 minutes.
