So I was WRONG! I bought a maple kandayo for 800k. I traded my +4 avarice for 2 tobis and a maple oul singer, which I will just give GSN, at sometime. Now I have no good weapon, so I do LITTLe damage now, but it's ok, cuz I kinda quit...I think

Right now I have potential to do up to 2.5k damage on any even leveled monster. :P

And I did a really crappy scroll job on my snowshoes. XD I bought 7 100% Shoe speed scrolls and loaded them on. (I can get 127 speed with my shoes, tube, and a speed pill now.) When I have money, I'm going to buy another snowshoe pair and try to do a non-sucky scroll job on it. :D

Im working Gollems now. 3 hits and they hit the floor. I think training is a little bit slower (but only by about 1% every ten minutes) however, after using all my MP pots, I can refill them and my HP pots and come out with a profit. At Drakes I was loosing about 20k per 200 Mana Elixers (not including item drops)

Blue Drakes are alot better to train on. Atleast you wont need Snowboots. Im lv 52 with my sin and I spare alot of white pots by going to the drakes. Just go to Drake Hunting ground. As a hunter you'll do fine in there. n.n

Apparently, peoples computers keep re-starting before starting the game - or something along those lines. Mine keeps giving me a scary blue screens saying "Dumping Physical Memory" while counting up to 80ish. And something about the file "dump_wmimmc.sys". Hence after, I must reboot. This happens everytime I try and patch.

This ofcourse means diddily-squat to myself. So im just going to close my eyes and hope that everything fixes itself by the morning.

Its a dam shame becasue im lv 49 and I was aiming for 60% tonight =(

Yea my Computer restarted when I tired to open the game, then i got some message before XP loaded asking what profile I wanted to use...

It's been happening to me and a bunch of other people for nearly a week now. It's caused by Game Guard. There's no way to stop it so, I hate to say this but; get used to it. And save everything.

It only happened to me like...3/5 times after closing Maple but my friends even had trouble like the BSOD popping in WHILE they were playing.

After I installed the patch (which instead of restarting my computer, it popped up a BSOD. I had to do it manually) it happens every.single.time. I close Maple X|.

I know this happens in Gunbound to some people too.

I was reading some site that, coincidently, had a user asking about the same problem as mine and yours. And "BSOD" was a pretty popular term. Being pretty niave, I thought It was some high-tech term. Then what it stood for hit me while I was at work. Like a brick, so to speak.

But yeah, this site also said that Norton might of had something to do with it. Being a loyal Norton user, I was torn in two. Keep Maple Story or keep Norton? I've never really had ANY virus porblems on my laptop, while my mothers PC (That doesn't have any protection - silly girl) is riddled with disease. The thing it literally withering away into a hollow corpse of its former self.

But I've spent well over $100 of my money on Maple and in return its given me WELL over 100 hours of gameplay. It's one of the best games I
ve ever played.

Sheba, you said they might of fixed it? I'll go check now. I couldn't even patch before without the Blue Screen of Death showing up.

I'm having a hard time finding a good place to train >.> I usually look for 5% per 1 min or so. SOMETHING that gives me at least 10% per hour.

So...Zombies/Hector/Big cats/Yeti = 1% per 7 mins and that = suck.

The only place that gives me the 5% is dark yeti (weird place where nobody trains at) and no one wants to party there >.>; It'd be the best with two people on the map. :)

I did a Zakum pq, level 1, got 5 dead mine scrolls, then did level 2 and got 15k exp. Can I continue to do level 2 jum quest and get the experience? Oh and does anyone wanna ZPQ with me? 3. I did the entire quest, after you get 30 Gold Zombie Teeth, you combine that, a piece of fire ore, and Breath of Lava to make... 5 Eyes of Fire. You have to drop 1 Eye of Fire on the Zakum altar to summon Zakum.
4. Tiger got banned because he asked the GMs to ban him. Liketoks got banned for NX Fraud.

Everyone already probably knows but there's now a European version of Maple open for beta, I've already registered and you can do so too since registrations are open for about a week. I installed the game but it didn't load up, so I've un-installed Maple Story completely and will try again sometime later.

Let me tell you why Maple Story will never become a great MMORPG...

MMORPG's are all about the community and the users. If the players are assholes then the MMORPG will suck, no matter how good the system is, and no matter how free it is. Now, the word "free" attracts little children who are not allowed to play games that need credit cards, but Maple Story doesn't need one so you're faced with beggers, people who call you "noob" for silly reasons, people who argue over the smallest things etc. It's not just Americans, but I can't deny the fact that the majority of d*ckheads I meet on Maple Story are American, or at least they enjoy claiming to be American that's for sure.

Anyone who has played games like FFXI will know exactly what I mean about the userbase, consider yourself lucky if you ever meet a real begger on that game, arguements never start over stupid things and when they do it's a full-fledged debate, not a "your mom" competition. People work to help eachother, when I first joined that game people gave me 50,000Gil without me even asking. That's the difference between mature/old gamers who play things like FFXI and immature/young people who play Maple Story.

I signed on last week to try my first Ludi PQ. I said "Hey guys, this is my first time doing Ludi PQ. Can anyone give me some advice on what I need to do for my team?" and this 9 year old prick replies "hes a noob kick him" but after getting dissed down by me he eventually leaves. I waited 2 hours for PQ and didn't get in even once, I got so pissed off I just uninstalled the game. A game is not worth playing if it's just annoying and no fun at all, games are there for enjoyment not so I can wait 30 minutes downloading and registering just so some 9 year old c*ck can try and abuse me.

I've heard it said many times where people report a GM saying "We don't make money on this" and frankly I believe it now. Seriously, those numbers are piss poor.

Following this tangent, US/Canada needs it's own service. If not, GMSers should find 6 people they know and make them play MS. I now understand why asking anything of NX Games is like talking to a brick wall. They have massive success with the game other places, but can't make a dent in the US/Canada? It seems to me that it's almost on life support. This isn't a healthy business.

If you love MS, I suggest you do something about it. Buying more stuff isn't going to fix it. They need more customers, not inordinate amounts of money from existing customers. Find people and get them to play.
