I'm playing a game called Inocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon. I'm in the second main challenge of the game, ship 5000 crops by the end of the game year or everyone on the island dies. I'm about half way through spring and so far I've shipped 200. woot. but now my high production crops are starting to produce, so yay.

Yep, IL:FHM has you play as a robot that goes places a human can't go as you try and save the island you live on from destruction. Its for the PS2. I'll tell you this though, the end of the first year of the story is kinda sad, *major spoiler ahead. DO NOT read if you plan to play the game*

The doc who built you has health problems and dies just after yousave the island. Then your character crys real tears for the first time...almost made me cry, and the sad music playing didn't help.

I'm playing, and have been playing for almost two weeks now, Endless Ocean. I'm trying to think of some good words that would truly tell you how much I like this "game". Amazing isn't the word I could use for Endless Ocean. I know, "magnificent" and "something special" really capture my feelings. This is really the first game I've played in the past ten years that I can truly call magnificent. As you most likely all know, this is a non-game.

So, after playing two highly praised games on the Wii, Twilight Princess and Galaxy, two real gamer games, it's strange for me to say that I'm enjoying Endless Ocean more than either of those two. Why? Probably because EO is really something completely different, and it contains many things I like: First(and most important), lots of animals and wildlife, and a bunch of interesting(and not so interesting) information on each of the species. Then there's the simple exploring part of the game. Simply exploring for no real reason is something I've always loved in games. Those were probably my favourite parts of TP. Pointless adventuring is pretty much the point of EO.

Not to mention how beautiful the graphics are, even if they can be slightly repetitive. Now I definitely don't think the Wii could have done with better graphics like PS3 and 360. And the music is magnificent too, captivating the often soothing feel of the game, to the sometimes downright freakishly creepy parts of it.

But it's obviously not for everybody. Most of you would probably hate it, and it would be unwise to even rent it for some of you. If you only like games filled with action, then skip EO. However, if you like animals and want to try something new, it would be a good idea to at least rent it. No matter what you decide to do, I know I'm going to be loving it for many weeks to come.

Bully Scholarship Edition for the Wii

Argh, I saw the screenies for the 360 version of Bully. Now I can't help but feel that Rockstar got lazy on the Wii version's graphics which are only a hair better than the PS2 version. I mean, Super Mario Galaxy's graphics look about as good as Bully 360... :o

Well, it's kind of hard to be afraid of anything when you're viewing it through an 800x600 window on low-ish graphics. If I'd had a better computer, running it fullscreen with headphones, I might have been a tad nervous. But scared? Nah.

Well I wasnt properly scared, but in places I was edgy. It's like Bioshock- you hear so much about it being scary you expect to crap your pants so you force yourself into thinking its scary when it's not actually that bad.

If anything, I kept quick loading areas just so I could clear rooms of zombies in the most amusing way possible. But I don't know, maybe you're less afraid of damage on the lower difficulties.

I liked throwing disk saws at them the most :P There was one part with massive meathooks you could throw at them but that wasnt as fun as throwing saws at them :)

I couldn't figure out how to get past the doorway with the sawblades jutting across it at first, but then I realised the Gravity Gun can pull them out of walls, and I thought...I'm going to marry this gun. XD

The great thing about them is they actually saw them in half, rather than just killing them.

I found it quite amusing when I was on a rooftop a fast zombie jumped at me, but i strafed to the left and watched it fall to it's death. That was quite amusing.

I remember that. I think I just blasted it with the shottie. Too bad I didn't figure out its secondary fire until several chapters later.

I hardly ever use the secondary fire. Most zombies die with a shot to the head with it, and if it doesn't, I shoot it again. But poison zombies are very annoying. You cant go up close because you'll get crabs thrown at you, but you dont have any powerful LR weapons at that point in the game. Grenades work best, but they're too bouncy to aim well.

The Gravity Gun is technically a LR weapon. Just piff radiators at it until it dies, then pick off the crabs which run off its corpse.

Explosives are easier, as they set the remaining crabs on fire, if not killing them anyway.

Did you enjoy killing manhacks as much as I did? I thought it was awesome fun whacking them with the crowbar whenever they got close. Of course the Gravity Gun is more effective, but that's boring.

It's also immensely satisfying to whack headcrabs with the crowbar as they jump at you.

a summonless run is a piece of piss, the hardest way to play FF7 is no materia or speed run.

no it really isnt, Command materia are the most powerful in the game, Meteorain with mime is a lot worse than being able to Omnislash, 4xCut+Ultimate Weapon maims everything except emerald and ruby

I mean I loved the game too, but how about moving away from it? In fact they seem to do that with a number of FF's now. I mean FFX got FFX-2 (which I doubt I'd ever buy) whilst there was a DS game based off of XII (which I would get if I ever beat the original). I'm sure Laharl would bring out a lengthy explanation as to why this is, and it would probably culminate in Square just being in it for the money.

Beat Bully. Frikkin' great game, my biggest complaint was that the game ended. Well, you can still play, but I beat all the missions and found all the rubber bands and G&G cards, soo...

In a bit of a dilemma; not enough games to play. I don't want to play Brawl until I buy a new controller; the one I have now is a third-party wireless controller that has a stupid analogue stick that always goes to the right. If I try to face left, when I let go of the stick the character faces right again. Really annoying. Running through HL2:E2 to get the little rocket man achievement. It's going to take a lot more than skill to do this. So many times he's fallen out of the car and have to go pick him up, then die again. It's quite frustrating.

Just bought Unreal Tournamant 3 for the PS3, and I think it's a very fun game. The deathmatches are very fast paced, and entertaining. Online is really the core of this game, being able to laugh at people from Australia because you just blew them to bits was never this fun.

I'm thinking of buying GT3 later on. That'll set me up for life, and since it's so cheap nowadays, why not grab a copy next time I'm at EB?

Phantom Hourglass had some good ideas, they just weren't used very well.

I didn't enjoy the Temple of the Sea King. I like that they're thinking of new ideas, but if I wanted stealth I'd play Splinter Cell.
And it wasn't exactly brilliant stealth either. Mainly hide in a safe zone and grab triforce pieces. No real way to fight back.

I picked up GT3 on the weekend and haven't played anything else since. The graphics aren't as realistic as GT4, but they're a hell of a lot glossier. I haven't even touched Gran Turismo mode yet, I'm so addicted to the Arcade mode. Shame I've already seen most of the tracks in the other games, but the ones I haven't are pretty sweet.

Complex String is a really weird course though. It's even more twisty than the Nurburgring, and that's saying something.

Laguna Seca gets easier with each new game in my opinion. In GT2 it's absolutely killer, but in GT4 it's a breeze, especially since you can cut through the corkscrew.

I'm playing Final Fantasy XII and World Of Warcraft. On WoW I have a level 4 Blood Elf Paladin, his name is Diwrnach and I forget which server he's because I play on my friend's WoW account. So I'll find the server out later today and post tomorrow or something. As for XII I'm about to go to Mt. Bur Omisace and my team is averaged out at level 19.

I've finally started the main game mode in GT3 and having plenty of fun with it. I bought myself a blue Yaris and managed to win a few of the beginner cups. My low budget is challenging me the most at the moment. I'm tempted to transfer those 10M credits, but I don't want to spoil my first playthrough.

What don't you like about GT4, Eugine? It's at least twice as big as GT3, boasts about five times as many cars, has better graphics and the 20 or so new courses are tons of fun. It's everything you could want from a console driving sim.
