I can't stop watching Ike videos. He such an exceptional character. I want to point out, though, that Ike's attacking speed is greatly exaggerated. Aside from four attacks (Eruption, F-Smash, U-Smash, F-Air), Ike isn't really that slow.

They could have thoguht of different ones for Fox/Falco/Wolf. Peach's is just USELESS, and so is Donkey Kong's. Like, for DK, they can jsut not go near him.

It's still quite weak and causes little knockback. The only way DK will cause any decent damage is if he hits his opponent(s) with the short range waves.

Oh, and Peach's Final Smash is actually rather good. 40% damage, puts enemies to sleep for a long while, and can recover % using the peaches that appear. I don't think that's bad. =|

It's not a bad stage. It's huge, and the scenery looks absolutely gorgeous. The straight layout may not be as exciting as Hyrule Temple's, but that stage is returning anyway, so it's fine.

XD I finished just a few minutes ago. I only spent about 20 hours downloadig it. ;D

And Marth's moveset looks badass. I loved the danceing blade attack that was in Melee for both him and Roy, and mastered all the combinations (one of them is hard as crap to get down). His FS looks really good too. I think he might end up in the High or Top tier range.

I think cload has cameo'd in more games that he shouldn't have been allowed into than Mario, and especially any other character mentioned.

And cloud has been in more than one FF game if I remember right.

Well the game is on Google, and people jsut add mods to it. It's nto called SSB-PSP, but it's fairly easy to find on Google. The added characters are just people's addition.

Out of all the FS's, which do you think is the most usefull. Might not be the most powerfull, but which do you think is most usefull. The Landmasters seem like they woudl be very usefull, and could kill everybdoy, fairly easily. So does Lucario's FS. Snake's can be good, if you learn how to aim it.

In all honesty, this is not happening. Downloadable Content is just not going to happen on Wii, Brawl or otherwise.

Although evidence has been found of several characters that aren't complete for some reason, and it looks like both Roy and Mewtwo were very close to making it. It's a shame more time wasn't spent on the characters like it should have been, I wanted both in very bad.

It does seem a little unusual that they would cut out those characters - what's the harm in adding two veteran characters with their movesets already intact from Melee? Still, the roster as it is is phenomenal compared to Melee's and, while it could have been more, is indeed a fine achievement from Sakurai.

And I don't see why downloadable content can't be included, so long as it's not every month. Four to six updates a year seems acceptable if it is incorperated. If they start pumping it full of stuff, it'll make it crap.

The roster definitely dropped the ball in terms of the roster (no pun intended), but that's also because we had unreasonably high expectations as well the roster being revealed poorly (again, revealing Sonic back in October of last year was perhaps the worst decision possible, even if it was to make up for the first delay). Had we just found out about the likes of Sonic, Pokemon Trainer, and Ike with the Japanese release two weeks ago, the same roster would seem much better. A lot of it is psychology.

Besides, if Brawl's roster is bad, then Melee's was downright horrible, and I'm sure none of you regret buying or playing Melee.

I don't believe it was our expectations that were wrong. I mean, for Melee, sure, 35 characters with unique movesets would have been asking for way too much. But in Brawl, 40 characters with completely unique movesets is not. The game has been in development for what, two years? Melee's wasn't for anywhere near that time. It was excusable in Melee.

I just feel like a lot of the time was spent on unnecessary things like stickers. When I first saw them they didn't bother me, but now that I think of it, they really were a waste of time. A BIG waste of time. This is exactly why I'm hoping that in SSB4 that they finally shift the focus towards the roster and blow us away with it for once.

I'd agree with that. Plus when the characters were announced, Brawl was going to be released in the October-Novembr time and the wait between knowing the characters and playing the game was small. As the gap got bigger, people knew what to expect from Brawl and they felt less amazed by what they saw as a result.
I still think the game looks impressive from my viewpoint, even with all the talk of clones and alike. I mean, if the target audience for the Wii is casual gamers, I doubt they'll complain will they?

I'm a bit disappointed in some of the Ike videos I've seen. Every battle I see that pits Ike against Marth, Marth always ends up as the victor. D: Then again, the Ike player usually does something stupid during the match.

There are plenty of videos of Ike winning 1v1's. An Ike player beat a Wolf player 3 stocks to none on a four stock match; however, the Wolf player was indeed bad. Still, Ike's won 1v1 matches against good players.

A lot of Melee players are mad at the fact that Brawl's more balanced and at the fact that wavedashing, etc. are removed. You know, too bad for them; they're going to have to learn to adapt if they want to do well in Brawl. Brawl is different, not just Melee 1.5, so to do well in it means to change your strategy.
