This is from the new MCR album "The Black Parade."... Which is not nearly as good as their first two albums especially "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge", but of course it's my opinion.
This song is probably the worst on the album, but I'm listening shuffled and it came up ;_;
7/10... Ratings will change soon though when I really listen to the album, TBP is all I listen to plus Bling by the Killers because I'm tired of my old songs...
BTW, my favourite so far is "Teenagers"

+44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating
4/5 of Blink-182. I'm not sure if this is necessarily better than Angels and Airwaves, but really, there's no comparing the two. What I can say is Blink fans will love this song and probably the whole album. It's a catchy song.

But yea I'm listening to Black Parade, My favourite so far is Sharpest Lives. And yes it is very different. As the band said they had to become a whole new band to do this album. I miss Helena and Do you know what they do to guys like us in prison? :)

They also used the guy who did all the Greenday stuff for thier album. But what did they sell out to? The lead singer sucks, I love them but they do suck, but they sucked well. This new stuff is just ****.
Listening to their first album now, it's not bad but it's not great. I think 'three cheers for sweet revenge' was a one off sadly.
Drowning Lessons - MCR (first album)
Eugine- Teenagers is ok, not a serious song though. And is AFI really classed as rock?
One-X is by far the best new album I have gotten all year.
Edit- Helena - MCR
Man this is so much better. So much more emotion and anixty in his voice, not mindless dribble.
I am really let down by The Black Parade. Not sure if I'll still see them in concert next year.

As for MCR, I bought 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' yesterday, rather than 'The Black Parade' and I made the right choice. It's a good album, very energetic.
As for AFI, I would classify their newer stuff from 'Sing the Sorrow' and 'Decemberunderground' as punk/pop, because that's what it sounds like. They're a very unique band to be sure.
My Chemical Romance - Cemetery Drive
After the singles from 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' (Helena, I'm Not Okay, The Ghost of You) this is probably the best song. The chorus is great for singing along.

Because they flow into each other and kinda mesh, I'll rate these two songs together. All in all, it's a great start to the album and really sets the mood of the context to follow. I like the heart rate thing too. That was cool. ;)

My Chemical Romance - The Sharpest Lives
Surprisingly, this is probably the only song on the whole album (other than Blood) that has no redeeming value for me. I don't particularly like it and spend the whole song waiting for it to be over so I can enjoy the best song on the album, Welcome to the Black Parade.

I don't mean to brag, but my work took me to an oilrig recently. On this rig I was there for 3ish days, with about 5 hours work to do, as bluemage would probably tell you as I spent a decent part of these 3 days talking to him on MSN.
Now to the point: This rig had 4 PCs which the crew could use for their personal use. Which the did, very well. Each had 25 gigs of music of them. I unfortunatley only had a single 1 gig memory stick in my PSP at the time. Thus, I got the album im listening to now and many others.
The End.

From yesterday, The kill and Attack by 30 seconds to mars.
I dunno I'm hooked. To go with the flow of SoT and Eugine I did come to like Black Parade more, still not as good as 3 cheers IMO but it grew. But shortly after that a friend got me onto Senses Fail, and now for some reason my TV kept playing The kill by 30 seconds to mars, man this song is good.

Laughed once. That's it. As for 30 Seconds to Mars, anyone who can understand the appeal of emo music, will know that Jared Leto can absolutely belt the emotional lyrics, and 'The Kill' is the perfect song for him. It is incredible and one of my all-time favorites.
Chris Cornell - You Know My Name
All new Bond song, and it's the lead singer from Audioslave! I'm totally pumped to see the movie now just to see this song roll on credits. The big band and spy feeling of this song, mixed with Cornell's own twist makes this song amazing.

This song makes me feel extremely sad.
1. Because I was listening to it while on the battlefields tour, and seeing the millions of gravestones.
2. Also on battlefields, we saw a huge stack of coffins for unknown soldiers.
3. Personal stuff.
It's the guitar that makes me sad, the main riff. It's an amazing riff, but it just makes me sad. Apart from that, this song is very good, one of CoF's best. 10\10

I found this song after watching the Gears of War trailer on tv, which actually contains parts of this song. The song is a haunting, sad one, and it really makes you think. The lyrics are simple, yet they have a layer of depression that add so much to the song. The song propels the Gears of War trailer to one of the best video game commercials I have ever seen. I know I'm gushing, but I can listen to 'Mad World' and it will never get old.

Actually, I realize that you're correct. I hadn't listened to Evanescence in a long time, so I'd forgotten just how entrancing Amy Lee's voice is. The girl from Skillet sounded phenomenal more because of the song itself, though she also sounded quite good in another song (Comatose, which I also found great).
I'll be looking into this band more, as so far, I've seen some good stuff.

I've had this song for a long time, and it continues to grow on me. The rock sound is average, but the song has lyrics to remember and in parts it's really good.

Well, I have to say, I'm surprised. I don't usually like hip-hop or rap, but this song is rather nice, even moving at times, especially with the rather sweet lyrics. 7.5/10

This song just really makes me happy inside! It's a very calm Reggae song, and I recommend everyone who likes Reggae to listen to this. I listen to this song all the time in school, and still it doesn't become boring! Best to listen when your high though. Anyways...
10/10!
And I don't tend to give such high ratings to songs, but this seriously deserves an exeption! :)

Tenacious D
I got the sound track, and it's freaking awesome, they are all good except for "The Pick of Destiny", it is the worst song on there. But if you dont mind hearing the f-bomb about 30 times a song (which is about 500 f-bombs less than the movie) and you have like a previous song of thirs, then this CD is for you.
The song The Pick of Destiny- 7/10
The album- 9/10

Stunning, beautiful duet. The song is incredibly soothing, with subtle use of woodwinds to create a serene, lifting effect, and a lively percussion beat. The singers both have rich voices. The only minor gripe I might have with this song is that the lyrics are slightly cliched, could be a little better... but other than that, great song, definitely worth listening to.

Okay, I'm sure you all know the song is by Simon and Garfunkel, but this is another version sung by Sarah Brightman, who's voice is flawlessly done. It's gorgeous, soothing, and fits the mood of the song even better than the original version. Listen to it if you can, you will be amazed.
10/10 for sheer beauty and elegance.

This song is a culmination of everything Tom wanted out of Angels and Airwaves. It's eight minutes long, with a four minute dramatic intro. It's supposed to be a Christmas song, but it doesn't sound like one. Without the title and the mention of snow at one point, you'd never know. I recommend it to fans of the band, it may be hard to come by a good file, but if you search long enough, you'll find one.

Reggaeton.
My friend from Havana, Cuba now lives in Grenada and she's in love with Spanish songs (since she speaks both Spanish and English), this is one of the songs she suggested and trust me, it's superb!
Eventhough I don't understand 1/2 of the lyrics (know basic Spanish) who cares, I listen to JPop where I don't understand anything.

Norwegian black / viking metal. Their first 2 full-length albums are extremely good, though the third album in 2001 was very disappointing, and no one has heard from them since. I'm surprised how underrated they are though, a real classic band for me anyway. Epic stuff.
