I have a confession to make ...

That is the only Linkin Park song that I downloaded. Yes, it's sad, but that song is just too catchy, and has a good mix of guitar and DJ sound effects. The remixed version on Reanimation was what I favored more, but either I couldn't find it on LimeWire, or I just didn't look hard enough.

Comment: Soon, sometime this month (or the next), I'm going to get a DVD of the anime s-CRY-ed. It looks and sounds awesome, and the trailer was more than enough for me. That's what drove me to download this song, and I'm not disappointed. It goes to a Mexican-esque beat in the beginning, then in the chorus it goes J-Pop/J-Rock (although I'm unable to determine that). Massive Attack - Angel
Dark and atmospheric. Begins with a deep, rumbling beat that gets louder as more stuff is added. The electric guitar samples added later on add a somewhat unique twist.
It's one of those songs that keeps getting louder and more intricate as it goes on. I love those :D.

I don't know a lot about rap, nor do I want to. I agree with you on the white voice part. Black rappers all sound the same with the deep voices and the black talk about guns, pimping and the link. Eminem has a fresh sound and style, thats why I listen to him (on occasion).

I have the same thing. I just downloaded it because I saw the commercial for it, but mainly the reason which it was catchy is because when Hikaru sung the verse, "Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight ... " there was a small battle scene where Sora used the Cloud summon card, and as he's descending, his sword strikes the enemy with absolute force. As long as that same image plays back in my mind, I'll keep on listening to this song.

What I mean is, some people (Canibal Corpse) just yell these lame lyrics, whereas bands like (and I know your sick of hearing of them), Old Man's Child, Dimmu Borgir and Slipknot, the vocalists actually fo have talent, and their growling is refined (plus they can do clean vocals, and in Slipknot's case, hip hop style vocals also). I know it's hard to understand, especially when you dont listen to or like the style, but anyway, that's just what I'm saying.

Comment: I'm a little surprised. This is their only English song (even if you can't understand what they're saying), but it's still good. I'd rather suggest the arranged version--the one that appears in the FLCL anime--since the insane and stead-fast bass gives it a good boost.
