I close my eyes when I get too sad
I think thoughts that I know are bad
Close my eyes and I count to ten
Hope it's over when I open them
I want the things that I had before
Like a Star Wars poster on my bedroom door
I wish I could count to ten
Make everything be wonderful again
Hope my mom and I hope my dad
Will figure out why they get so mad
Hear them scream, I hear them fight
They say bad words that make me wanna cry
Close my eyes when I go to bed
And I dream of angels who make me smile
I feel better when I hear them say
Everything will be wonderful someday
Promises mean everything when you're little
And the world's so big
I just don't understand how
You can smile with all those tears in your eyes
Tell me everything is wonderful now
Na na na na na na na
Please don't tell me everything is wonderful now
I go to school and I run and play
I tell the kids that it's all okay
I like to laugh so my friends won't know
When the bell rings I just don't wanna go home
Go to my room and I close my eyes
I make believe that I have a new life
I don't believe you when you say
Everything will be wonderful someday
Promises mean everything when you're little
And the world is so big
I just don't understand how
You can smile with all those tears in your eyes
When you tell me everything is wonderful now
I don't wanna hear you tell me everything is wonderful now
I don't wanna hear you say
That I will understand someday
No, no, no, no
I don't wanna hear you say
You both have grown in a different way
No, no, no, no
I don't wanna meet your friends
And I don't wanna start over again
I just wanna my life to be the same
Just like it used to be
Somedays I hate everything
I hate everything
Everyone and everything
Please don't tell me everything is wonderful now
I don't wanna hear you tell me everything is wonderful now
9.8 because its kind of short, but oh well. ^^ its good

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
[Chorus:]
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me
You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me
These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
[Chorus]
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along
[Chorus]
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me
I give it around 9.5/10, I really like this song, maybe a 10.

Perfect by nature
Icons of self indulgence
Just what we all need
More lies about a world that
Never was and never will be
Have you no shame? Don't you see me?
You know you've got everybody fooled
Look here she comes now
Bow down and stare in wonder
Oh how we love you
No flaws when you're pretending
But now I know she
Never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me
And somehow you've got everybody fooled
Without the mask, where will you hide?
Can't find yourself lost in your lie
I know the truth now
I know who you are
And I don't love you anymore
It Never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me
And somehow you've got everybody fooled
It never was and never will be
You're not real and you can't save me
Somehow now you're everybody's fool

i don't paticularly like eminem...or rap for that matter, but this song is so....awesome
Step by step, heart to heart, left right left
We all fall down...
[Chorus]
Step by step, heart to heart, left right left
We all fall down like toy soldiers
Bit by bit, torn apart, we never win
But the battle wages on for toy soldiers
I’m suppose to be the soldier who never blows his composure
Even though I hold the weight of the whole world on my shoulders
I ain’t never suppose to show it, my crew ain’t suppose to know it
Even if it means going toe to toe with the Benzino, it don’t matter
I never drag ‘em in battles that I can handle less I absolutely have to
I’m suppose to set an example, I need to be the leader
My crew looks for me to guide ’em
If some **** ever just pop off I’m suppose to be beside ‘em
That Ja ****, I tried to squashed it, it was too late to stop it
There’s a certain line, you just don’t cross it, and he crossed it
I heard him say Hailie’s name on a song and I just lost it
It was crazy, this **** went way beyond some Jay Z and Nas ****
And even though the battle was won, I feel like we lost it
I spent so much energy on it, honestly I’m exhausted
I’m so caught in it I almost feel like I’m the one who caused it
This ain’t what I’m in hip-hop for, it’s not why I got in it
Now it’s never my object to for someone to get killed
Why would I wanna destroy something I helped build
It wasn’t my intentions, my intentions were good
I went through my whole career with out ever mentioning ____
And that’s just outta respect for not running my mouth
And talking about something that I knew nothing about
Plus Dre told me stay out, just wasn’t my beef, So I did
I just fell back, watched and gritted my teeth while he’s all over TV
Now I’m talking a man who literally saved my live, like **** it
I understand, this is business and this **** just isn’t none of my business
But still knowing this **** could pop off at any minute
[ Chorus ]
It used to be time when you could just say a rhyme
And wouldn’t have to worry about one of your people dying
But now it’s elevated cause once you put someone’s kids in it
**** gets escalated, it ain’t just words no more, is it
It’s a different ball game, call names and you ain’t just rapping
We actually tried to stop the 50 and Ja beef from happening
Me and Dre had sat with him, kicked it and had a chat with him
And asked him not to start it, he wasn’t gonna go after him
Until Ja start gabbing in magazines how he stabbed him
**** it 50, smash him, mash him, and let him have it
Meanwhile my intentions pulley’d in other directions
Some receptionist said the source who answers phones at his desk has an erection for me and thinks that I’ll be his resurrection
Tries to blow the dust of his mic and make a new record
But now he’s ****ed the game up cause one of the ways I came was through that publication, the same one that made me famous
Now the owner of it got a grudge against me for nothing but **** it
That motha ****er can get it too, **** ‘em then
But I’m so busy being pissed off, I don’t stop to think
That we just inherited 50’s beef with murder inc
And he’s inherited mine, which is fine, ain’t like either of us mind
Still have soldiers that is on the front line that's willing to die for us
As soon as we give the orders, never to extort us
Strictly to show they support us
Maybe shout ‘em out in a rap or up in chorus to show we love ‘em back
And to let ‘em know how important is to have Runyon Avenue soldiers up in
our corners
Their loyalty to us is worth more then any award is
But I ain’t trying to have none of me people hurt or murdered
It ain’t worth it, I can’t think of a perfecter way to word it
Then to just say that I love y’all too much to see the verdict
I’ll walk away from it all before I’ll let it go any further
Now don’t get it twisted, it’s not a plea that I’m coping
I’m just willing to be the bigger man
If y’all can quiet popping off at the jaws with the knocking
Cause frankly I’m sick of talking
I’m not gonna let someone else’s coffin rest on my conscious
[ Chorus ]
<.< look at all the asterisks and be in awe of eminem's bad language XD

Comment: Soon, sometime this month (or the next), I'm going to get a DVD of the anime s-CRY-ed. It looks and sounds awesome, and the trailer was more than enough for me. That's what drove me to download this song, and I'm not disappointed. It goes to a Mexican-esque beat in the beginning, then in the chorus it goes J-Pop/J-Rock (although I'm unable to determine that). This is downloadable in LimeWire or WinMX, but if you don't get hits from Ide Yasuaki, try typing in "Scryed".

Eminem is the considered to be the only worthy white rapper out there. Do you know why? Because he uses black man's style to rap mostly. He just has a "white voice" which makes it more interesting. Everyone thought he stole his style from Chino XL when he first started. I used to love Eminem but not as much anymore. Too commercialized now I reckon. 2pac>Eminem in my opinion, and I think everyone that knows a bit about rap would think so too. :D

Comment: I LOVE this song! The lyrics are so meaningful and superb and this time it has no swearing, just truth and some form of realistic feeling to it. It was produced by Eminem which was a bit of a shock when I saw that he was the executive producer of his whole album. O_O Love the album though. :D
Quote: (I think this is worth quoting =P)

If I could recelect before my hood dayz
I would sit in bliss and reminis on the good dayz.
I stop and stare at the younger, my heart goes to'em
They stressed and goin under.
We never really went through that
Cause we was born ??
Today things change,its a shame
They blame it on the youth cause the truth look strange
For them its worse, we come from a world thats cursed
And it hurts.
Cause any day theyll push the button.
And yall condemned like malcom x and uncle bob
They died for nothin.
Make the people teary, the world looks dreary
But when you wipe your eyes you see it clearley.
Theres no need for you to fear me.
If you take the time to hear me, maybe you can learn to cheer me.
It aint about black or white, both doin
I hope you see the light before its ruiend
My ghetto gospel
[Chorus x3]
It ok, its ok, its ok
My ghetto gospel
[2Pac]
Tell me do you see that old lady she aint sad
Living out a bag, in rags, loving the things she has
Over there see that lady, the cracks got her crazy.
And shes gonna give birth to a baby?
I shouldnt let it fade me. we out of the projects
Jumped into another form of slavery.
And even now i get discouraged.
I wonder if its tooken all back will i still keep the courage.
I refuse to be a role modle.
I keep control on the hoes and take out my old bottle.
I make mistakes, i learn from everyone.
And when its said and done, ill be called a better one.
If i strecth you dont stretch.
Never forget, god is gonna finish with me yet.
I feel his hands on my brain.
When i write ryhmes, i go blind, and let the lord do this thing.
But am i any less holy,
I choose to puff a blunt and drink a beer with my homies
And then world peace, we tried and failed
Now theres war in the streets
My ghetto gospel.
[Chorus x3]
[2Pac]
I remember grandmas hands use to hold me
Mold me, i never forget the things she told me
Brothas a butt, and played the big shot
But you know grannys are the only other thing lil ghetto kids got.
Moms work, and pops burried.
Drop me off at grannys, left without a heart cause shes worried
And ghetto grannys are like books.
We got some many crooks, so many grannys gettin shook.
And gettin trapped in a nursing home.
Times is hard, and even worse alone
And how could you be so cold,
Youll get your turn, as soon as you turn old.
All they ask of every person,
Is for a brotha to figure whats on his mind when hes cursin.
9 out of 10 youll find them problems.
Time to take listen and see what you can do to solve them.
Cause every body needs a little help
On the way of relieng on ones self.
And think about it, why 2pac hit you with a little ghetto gospel
My ghetto gospel.
[Chorus x3]
[2Pac]
I wake up stone cold gangsta main
See ya gave me ghetto gospel, i thank you main
Use to roll in the back and do drugs a lot.
Now im bangin the tracks, slangin ryhmes i got.
In this world of greed tryin to succeed on my beliefs.
Now i lay me down to sleep, lord can you hear me speak.
Can you forgive me for my sins
If i had it all to do again, id still play to win
I hope the lord can understand me.
A mans gotta do what he can for his family.
And pay the price of being hellbound.
But i ratha see hell later than see hell now.
And the devil aint got nothin on the president.
Cut back and keep us tsrapped in our residence.
And be like animals in cages.
We can rant and rave about slavery for ages.
Or we can stop makin awful
And hitem with a lil ghetto gospel
My ghetto gospel.
[Chorus x4]
(See there is some meaningful rap out there if you take time to understand it :) )

Is it just me or have The Darkness had a bit of a revival in the last few months?...
Massive Attack - Angel
Dark and atmospheric. Begins with a deep, rumbling beat that gets louder as more stuff is added. The electric guitar samples added later on add a somewhat unique twist.
It's one of those songs that keeps getting louder and more intricate as it goes on. I love those :D.

I don't know a lot about rap, nor do I want to. I agree with you on the white voice part. Black rappers all sound the same with the deep voices and the black talk about guns, pimping and the link. Eminem has a fresh sound and style, thats why I listen to him (on occasion).

They released "Love is only a feeling" a while back, and some toll remixed I believe in a thing called love. Also seen them on TV a bit too.
I've got:
The Used - The Taste of Ink
Anthony Callea - The Prayer
Eminem - Lose it
On constant rotation, they are the only 3 songs on my comp so far B) .

worth posting the lyrics.
I want to
Take his eyes out
Just for looking at you
Yes I do
I want to take his hands off
Just for touching you
Yes I do
And I want to rip his heart out
Just for hurting you
And I want to break his mind down
Yes I do, yes I do, yes I do
And I want to make him regret
life since the day he met you
Yes I do
And I want to make him take back
All that he took from you
Yes I do
And I want to rip his heart out
Just for hurting you
And I want to break his mind down
Yes I do, yes I do, yes I do, yes I do, yes I do
And I want to rip his heart out
Just for hurting you
And I want to break his mind down
Yes I do, yes I do, yes I do, yes I do

I have the same thing. I just downloaded it because I saw the commercial for it, but mainly the reason which it was catchy is because when Hikaru sung the verse, "Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight ... " there was a small battle scene where Sora used the Cloud summon card, and as he's descending, his sword strikes the enemy with absolute force. As long as that same image plays back in my mind, I'll keep on listening to this song.

You're better off without him, don't call him...
He's breaking your heart.
He's hanging with your best friend and your waiting there,
It's tearing you apart.
He lied to you a thousand times,
When I was there he kept you waiting.
And I'm still here waiting there
To catch you if you fall.
I don't know why I care so much
When I shouldn't care at all.
Finally got the nerve to tell you
How much you mean to me,
You said that I was your best friend,
A real sweet guy, but that's all I'd ever be.
And I'm still here waiting there
To catch you if you fall.
I don't know why I care so much
When I shouldnt care at all
it doesn't appear in the lyrics but listen to it, its got a message!!

Fear of the animal within
Unleashed from emotions buried deep
Forced into the human age
Despite denial of life
Devoured and concealed
In flesh of mortal breed
Captives in dungeons of the flourishing society
Weakened by thoughts and mentally seduced
Redeem me my burden my father I await thee
Come fulfill my call
Summon the force
Make the others bleed
Let them drown in blood
The trail of tears
Follow the path and conquer
In agony they will die
What a contrast in Lyrics...
