Cherry Poppin Daddies - Master and Slave
Though the name of the song might seem a bit metal-ish, it's a very nice combination of swing, ska and funk.

Why is it that this is the only band that can pull off singing a song in completely the wrong key? The song just works, and the singing is off-tune! Great work.

I like Disturbed a lot, don't get me wrong. This song, however, is a bit different. After about 3:05 into it, it just sucks, and from 3:21 to about the four minute mark, it's pure sickening filth. Until that point, it's easily their greatest song, but the stupid screaming of references to child abuse and murder in the later parts of it take it down a few notches.

A song that takes 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' and throws it at Panic! at the Disco to make a very twisted, dramatic song with a killer chorus. The best song this band has ever done, easily.

It's been four years since the last Linkin Park album, and after reinventing their genre, the result is an amazing single leading up to the new album, Minutes to Midnight. The guitars are not as dominant as they used to be, and the band seems more alternative than rap metal now. But the change is for the better, because now the songs aren't all the same (as in Meteora and Hybrid Theory). If you claim to have liked this band at any point, check out the single. It hits iTunes today.

First of all, the video rocks, but Chester looks so much link Bono in the Vertigo video.
The song, isn't nu-metal at all, or original. Linkin Park said, the new album wouldn't be like anything before, and by listening to the song once... it sounds like some alternative rock song, or specifically Numb with a few twists.
Linkin Park has been sold out, imo. The nu-metal band I love is gone. Such a sad day imo, as comfirmed by Mike himself. Making money is more important it seems... cuz this single is a guaranteed success.
And guess what, I'm listening to that song myself now (actually since yesterday nonstop), and I'll give it a 10/10 myself. But analyzing it, it's nothing breakthrough. So, imo, unlike SoT I think the change is for the worse.

Personally, I believe they're practically alienating the fans who loved them, and made them what they are today. But making money is more important now...
Before, when I listened to LP, only one band could have reached my mind, Limp Bizkit, but now they sound so familar, so plain. Nothing special anymore.
Change is good, but not this dramatic change. But, like you said... can't judge an album by a single single...
On another subject, Coldplay next better don't dissapoint!

I really would like to find some videos of their South American tour. Apparently they're testing out new materials on fans. Still, if the whole "no piano" thing holds up, it might not be that great. Maybe more Parachutes-like than anything.
Three Days Grace - Home
Angry, loud, and in your face. The old Three Days Grace may have sounded more simplistic, but the guitars punch you in the face and leave you dying for more. You don't get that as much on One-X, and it's kinda refreshing.

Hey, I've got you to thank for that; you suggested the song Lejla by Hari Mata Hari, back during Eurovision 2006, and I absolutely loved it - I looked into it, and I found that people were comparing the song to Zeljko Joksimovic's Lane Moje back in 2004.

Following in the footsteps of Spiderman's Hero by Nickelback, and Spiderman 2's Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional, the new Spiderman 3 title track is indie, melodic, and stays true to the Snow Patrol sound. Possibly the best first fifteen seconds to a song ever. And follow that up with some classic Linkin Park for three power-packed minutes.

No Woman No Cry- Shame of the people not knowing it! This song is pure reggaeness, listen to it! 10/10
Could you be loved- YES I CAN! <3 On topic: When I heard this song even when I was a kid I couldn't help but sing along. Funny, how I hate people singing through my favorite songs on the radio! >_< Awesome! 10/10
One Love- Yesss... only one... ;) DAYUM, okay now no more off topic-ness: This song made it to Bob's best album: Legend, with all of his legendary Jamaican goodness. Another well earned 10/10
Girl I Want To Make You Sweat- Which I do! ... <3 I'm getting a little bit TOO carried away don't I? ^^ This song reminds me of myself, a lot! Which isn't suprising since every hetrosexual guy can imagine the situation in this song. I would've given it a 10/10 too, but I'm gonna be cricital here so I'm giving it a 9/10. All other songs are recommended, but this one this one you are allowed to have missed somehow- WITH shame!
Satisy My Soul (or: Don't Rock My Boat)- Here's where the stoned lyrics come! "Ohhh please... don't you rock... my boat... Cause I don't... want my boat... to be rocken." I love it! Still, you are also allowed to have missed this one out with a lot of shame... So a 9/10
Red red wine- A reggae love song. Deep lyrics though, first you think it's about a woman, then about the red wine. It still often confuses me. xD I'd give it a 8/10 though since well yeah, this song is only great when it's at night with some romantic feelings and... Ohh nevermind! ^^
By the Rivers of Babylon- Nice song. If your already downloading, take this one with you. :) I'd rate it with a 8.5 outta 10.
Three Little Birds- Ohh please this one you GOTTA know! "Don't worry, about a thing... Cauze every little thing, is gonna be alright." Strongly recomended. 9.5/10
Sun Shine Reggae- "Gimme gimme, gimme just a little smile. That's all I ask from you." God I'm having warm feelings again after checking my page at the local Dutch-MySpace-wanna be-clone site... NOW MOVING ON! I just love listening to this song while I'm sitting in the sun, doesn't mather where you are- on the beach or just in your backgarden, just don't leave your house when it's sunny without a proper mp3 player with THIS song! I'm serious! 9.7/10
Bufallo Soldier- A song about a strong black soldier taken from Africa to fight for America. Call me emotinal, but this song catches me with that. Awww just listen to it dammit! >_< Another healty 9/10
Don't Worry Be Happy- My motto in live. Another legendary song from Mr. Marley but I think it's not so good as let's say... One Love. Still a very nice song! 8.5/10
I Shot the Sheriff- A song about racism. In the song, Bob Marley sings about his old town where people are blaming Bob for the killing of the deputy -probarly cause he was black no kidding here this is the 80ties we're talking about! So the sheriff who always hated Bob Marley for unknown reasons tried to shoot him down. I like this song, it's very funny. :) See, I even quitted talking about the girl I fancy just typing a review from a song that noone even is prolly gonna read! Hardly recomened, however I'd still rate it a 9/10.
Stir it Up- While just listening now I got my "feelings" back again! <3 Hell I don't even know what stiring it up means yet I love this song! You can't live without it, I swear! 10/10
So that was my Bob Marley review! Hoping you guys liked it, since I've put lotsa effort on this. Bob Marley was the best artist ever, atleast Reggae wise. Rest in peace man. Smoke two joins in heaven for me!

If you just read the lyrics, you might think the song is soft, even romantic. And yet, after listening to it, I tend to feel differently. What a great use of vocals and beat to produce another winner off Hybrid Theory.

A kind of Linkin Park-esque song as far as lyrics go, but the chorus is monotonous and doesn't give this song the "psych-up" ability that other songs from the same album have. A disappointment, but still memorable.

It's got a much different feel than all of thier previous albums. Alot softer but the lyrics are especially deep compared to LP's other songs. Not a heavy song but i think it is just as good as any of their heaviest songs :P

This one has a faulty chorus, with an unneeded two note pause that just breaks up the flow of the song. I think this one could be better, but the great verses keeps this on my playlist.

I highly recommend this song to SoT, its definitely his kind of music. And make sure you listen to the whole song, it gets really cool at about 3:35
I've started to kinda drift away from the very heavy music scene and back to more rock music.
Anyway, this is one of (if not) my favourtie songs at the moment. 10/10

This song has been in my library for I think 2 years now, and I dont think there's ever been a time where i've said ' No, i'm not in the mood for that song right now'. That says something, because I say that with most songs. Dream Theater are an exception.

I'm not crazy about Maroon 5 as a band, but this song has a fun beat to it.
You ain't ever coming back to me
That's not how things were supposed to be
You take my hand just to give it back
No other lover has ever done that
Heartache, heartache, I just have so much
A simple love with a complex touch
There is nothing you can say or do
I called to let you know I'm through with you
I got this song a little while ago while I was...well...annoyed with someone. We're fine now, but I still like this song :P

Not sad at all. In fact, I listen to video game music every now and then (mostly Nobuo Uematsu from Final Fantasy), but my favorite Battle Theme of all time, might just be...
