Classic grunge. These guys didn't go unnoticed in the mid-90's, especially with this song, they gave bands like Pearl Jam a run for their money. Chris Cornell is now a member of Audioslave. Two reasons for me to love this song.

Instrumental technical death metal band. Despite lacking vocals, the structure and style of the music is very death metal (similar to that of Psycroptic or The Ocularis Infernum). They (or I should say 'he', as this was a one-man album) fuse elements of jazz, funk, hardcore and progressive in parts. very interesting music, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try something new and very technical.

Just like Blink-182's last album, there is presumably a point where a punk band writes a more mature album. This first single off of Good Charlotte's new album, Good Morning Revival, is incredible. Like 'Miss You' from Blink-182, the song really "grows the band up" in one fell swoop. Using a Biblical analogy to describe the struggles of Los Angeles, the lyrics are descriptive and something you will not expect from this band. I look forward to the album, because the first single is truly amazing.

This is my favourite opening song from Fullmetal Alchemist. Hyde, who is probably the most famous male Jpop singer (mayyybbe Gackt is more popular) can definetly sing and perform. It's pretty obvious he learnt alot from American rock artists though (especially his performances >_>)

After taking over both hip hop music and pop music with his infectious beats and weird rhythms, Timbaland is releasing his own album and this first song has a lot of potential on top 40 lists everywhere. But not much potential with me.

The expected third single is just as good as Love like Winter, and this band continues to surprise me with their unique sound.

The beginning of this song is great, but as it goes on you understand why it's a B-side and "didn't make the cut". It's way too repetitive and the lyrics don't do the great instrumentals justice.

Old Katatonia is great, back when they were death / doom metal.

Another B-side that got released with the latest single, this one is also a bit of a let-down. Once again, the lyrics are repetitive and it makes it seem like MCR uses the same line over and over in all their songs. Not a great one overall.

Been listening to these guys alot lately. Easiest way to describe them is as 'opeth-lite'. Though they're mostly doom metal and folk influenced. But the same sort of thing with acoustic passages and metal guitars and clean/growl vocals.

Probably their best song, apart from either Duality or Wait and Bleed
Love the keyboards at the beginning, and its a continuing theme through out the song. Very good.

So far from Toshiro Masuda list I am liking Sasuke's Dentiny, Naruto's main theme, Bad Situation, Need To Be Strong, Rock Lee's theme, and Hinata's theme.

Great bit of progressive metal here, love it. One of the best DT songs there is. Great how it changes moods so easily without any flaws in the transition. Bit long though, clocking over 13 minutes

This is actually one of my favourite songs from Switchfoot.
I recommend Gone, Adding to the Noise, the Beautiful Letdown, Oh! Gravity, On Fire, Only Hope (just as good as the Mandy Moore version) and... Lonely Nation.
Those are the songs I listen to from them frequently... Especially Gone.
Irreplacable - Beyonce.
Best song from her new album imo. Deja Vu and Ring the Alarm are also good (and really different), but Irreplacable is just epic. I recommend it, no matter what.

Listening to the song Hate Crew Deathroll from it at the moment. I think it sounds ace where the music quietens and he really stirs up the crowd and they join in when singing the chorus.

new song off their upcoming album ("Fiction", being released mid april)
Not bad, so far their new album (judging by this song and the recording of Terminus from the Sydney gig) sounds like a mix between The Mind's I/Character and In Flame's Come Clarity. That might just be me though...

Thanks for the heads up Neon :) . The new song sounds fantastic. Very Character-esque in terms of their sound and production, but the riffing in parts is definitely very reminiscent of The Mind's I indeed (that classic Gothenburg sound). Nice soloing as well, I can tell I'll be playing this all day tomorrow :) .
