Nobody beats Blink 182 at pop-punk. No PATD, no Hedly, no Sum 41. Blink 182 all the way. This song is amazing. They played this song live when I got to see them. Too bad that won't happen again. 10/10.

Norther - Blackhearted
excellent opening track off the Mirror of Madness album, top quality melodic death metal^^
"You're seeking perfection,
but your disillusions are
leading to destruction
You're bleeding for salvation,
but you can't see,
that you are the damnation,
itself.
Your hatred's growing on
it's growing strong
and the devil's born
releasing poison to a mind
which is already torn
last days of innocence
now waste your self
have no regrets
tomorrow it's too late
you'll lose your soul
you'll burn in hell
[chorus]
how many years will you bleed
so many devils to feed
how long time to suffer
...is eternity
[chorus]
[solo: K.Ranta]
[solo: P.Lindroos]
Disease is moving on
it's spreading on
it's getting strong
black harmony tonight
too late to leave
too late to hide
cold wind which blows inside
can tell the truth you lost,
you died
the final ride is here
you'll see the truth
shall have no fear
[chorus]
how many years will you bleed
so many devils to feed
how long time to suffer
...is eternity
[chorus]
[solo: T.Planman]
[chorus]
how many years will you bleed
so many devils to feed
how long time to suffer
...is eternity
how many years have you been
blackhearted and mean
no rest for your soul
there will be no divinity
[chorus]"
that's how you wrote lyrics folks

Love the lyrics <_<, Its about a taxi journey.
Ask if we can have six in,
If not we'll have to have two.
Well you're coming up at our end, aren't you?
So I'll get one with you.
Oh, won't he let us have six in?
Especially not with the food.
He could have just told us no though,
He didn't have to be rude.
You see her with the green dress?
She talked to me at the bar,
- How come it's already two pound fifty?
We've only gone about a yard!
Didn't you see she were gorgeous?
She were beyond belief!
But this lad at the side drinking a Smirnoff Ice
Came and paid for her Tropical Reef.
But I'm sitting going backwards
And I didn't want to leave,
I said "It's Shire Green mate,
Via Hillsborough please"
Well how funny were that sketch earlier,
Up at that taxi rank,
Oh no you woulda missed it,
I think it were when you went to the bank.
These two lads, squaring up, proper shouting
About who was next in the queue,
The kind of thing that would seem so silly
- But not when they've both had a few.
Well calm down, temper, temper
You shouldn't get so annoyed!
You're acting like a silly little boy!
And they wanted to be men,
And do some fighting in the street:
They said "No surrender!
No chance of retreat!"
And so why are we in the taxi?
'Cause I didn't want to leave.
I said "It's Shire Green mate,
Via Hillsborough please"
Drunken plots hatched to jump it, ask around are ya sure?
Went for it but the red light was showing,
And the red light indicates doors are secured.

ARE YOU KIDDING. Ha, you wish. Sum 41's stuff may be heavier, but if you listen to OLD Blink, like the Cheshire Cat album, it's obvious that Blink are a better punk band. The newer Blink still kicks Sum's ass. Travis Barker is an amazing drummer, and Mark had a great voice. Sure, Tom's voice was a little whiney, but still, they were a great band.

Plus 44-Make You Smile
I find Plus 44 a better band than Angels And Airwaves however. They took what was good about Blink and used that, along with a different sound, to make a great band. Carol(The original guitarist of P44) does guest vocals, and with Mark, it just sounds great. 9/10

When I awoke I spent that on a necklace
I told God I'd be back in second
Man, it's so hard not to act reckless

Without a sound?

Yeah, sad and emo, but I love it! B)

Anyway...Over Thinking is alright normal, but is amazing acoustic on the Apathetic EP. That entire CD is awesome.
Anyway, Two Lefts Don't Make a Right is one of my most favorite CDs ever, so anything off there is good. Falling out, Forward Motion, and I am Understood? if you have to choose.
Other good songs:
Maybe it's Maybeline
Deathbed
Sadie Hawkins Dance
Come Right out and Say It
Devestation and Reform
Up and Up
So Hate Consequences
This Week the Trend
BTW, have you heard Jon Foreman's solo work?
Anyway:
Playing for Keeps - Switchfoot
Super awesome song. The back half of Learning to Breathe is the best back half in history. Maybe rivaled by Neon Bible.

The acoustic is so much better. Damn, addicting.
Cause I've been housing all this doubt and insecurity and
I've been locked inside that house all the while you hold the key
And I've been dying to get out and that might be the death of me
And even though, there's no way in knowing where to go, promise I'm going because
I've gotta get outta here
I'm stuck inside this rut that I fell into by mistake
I've gotta get outta here
And I'm begging You, I'm begging You, I'm begging
You to be my escape.

Back in the early John Mayer days, the adult pop was such a great genre to chill out to. Songs like Daughters and Your Body Is A Wonderland hit it big with their simple sound and their sweet lyrics. This song follows in those paths, and just simply makes you smile as you lean back and relax to Mayer's incredibly easy, yet unique voice. Amazing experience.

Jay Z who?
The story behidn tihs is Em and Royce made this song in 1999, and Jay wanted to use it, so he recorded over Royce's verse and it was released with him and Em in 2001. Well, the Em and Royce version was underground, on the Bad Meets Evil mixtape, so people who only listen to Gay Z, and Naz, and 50 never really heard it. Royce's verses>>>>>Jay Z's verses. The funny thing, is that this song came out 2 years before the Jay Z version came out, and Jay Z's verse is still worse than Em's, even though he knew what Em's verse was, so he had a chance to make his better. Stupid Jay Z. 9/10.

The soundtrack of Shottas a film from 2002, didn't saw it though I heard it was awesome. Ky-Mani is a less famous son of the infamous Robert Nesta Marley, and even though he has some nice tracks many people overlook him. Female cellist trio, classical/alternative. Melora's vocals are a bit shaky, but there's something endearing about that. Slow paced and somewhat suspenseful song till about two thirds of the way in, when the pace and pitch suddenly pick up. A bit strange, but a couple of listens later it isn't so shocking, and fits better as you get used to it, I suppose. Interesting computer-edited sounds throughout.

The testament to A&A is that they are, indeed, much better when listened to on headphones. Before, I would've never picked up the small verses from "The Adventure" and "Start the Machine" in the opening instrumentals (two of my favorite A&A songs ever) and I also wouldn't have picked up on the last line, "Here I am" and the outro reminiscent of Valkyrie Missile, indicating the band's come full circle from their first single/song. It doesn't hurt that everything in between is solid gold. Great six minutes for any fan of the band.

Helll ya. Game and Em is always a great combination. Oh, and this one line basically sums up Em's verse...
(Game)
Jackson, get Dre on the phone quick
Tell him Em just killed me on my own ****
...Em's verse is insane in this song. 9/10.
(Eminem)
Only Dre can, judge me for the mistakes I'm making
If I'm faking, I'm Clay Aiken
You ain't Dre or Game, you lame, you're tame
***** your mild sauce, you ain't ready to make that flame switch
You'll end up in the same situation, same ****
Different day, just with different gangstas in your face, which
Way do you wanna face when your brains hit pavement
Think of what you'll say to the Pastor Mave, and save it
For the day that they got them affidavits waiving
In my face, looking for answers, rap sensation
Eminem tries to battle and ward off, accusations
That I had somebody blasted, the mask of Jason
Was found at the scene of the task, with masking tape
And the victim's penis up his ass, a basket case
And they ask him to clean up his act, you *******s wasting too much time
Me no kiss ass, and if that's the case then

Bye bye Ja. Man, Em is the KING of diss songs. 9/10.
Everybody's in a rush to get the throne
I just get on the track and try to set the tone
I ain't trying to use nobody as a stepping stone
But don't compare me, I'm better off just left alone
And I ain't even trying to go there with record sales
I'm just trying to keep it humble and respect myself
Say what up, keep stepping and jsut rep D12
Keep my nose clean, stay away from weapons, jail
I'm living reckless, but if you gon check my belt
You may see something else, I use to protect my self
A vest, to stop the luggers, and reflect the shells
Send em back at you faster than they left the barrels
And I don't even care anymore I don't got to
I got undercover cops that will legally pop you
And I don seen alot of people cross the line
But this muther****er Ja must have lost his mind
That X got him thinking he was DMX
Then he switched to Pac, now he's trying to be him next
So which one are you, X, Luther, Pac, or Micheal
Just keep singing them same songs recycled
We'd all much rather get along then fight you
Me and Hailie dance to your songs, we like
And you don't really wanna step inside no mic booth
Come on now, you know the white boy won't bite you
And I hurt your pride dawg, and you know I don't like to
But I will if I have to, with syllable laughter
Syllables that jsut slap you
Killing you faster than you popping pill after little pill of them tabs
Of that **** you on, but if you want it you got it
And you'd bump this **** too if we didn't diss you
And if we lock horns, we gon throw it harder than Busta
We bump heads with any muther****er that want's ta
So what's the, deal where was all the tough talk
When I walked up to you like "Ja, what up dawg"
How come you didn't say you had a problem then
When you was standing there with all your men, we could've solved it then
I'm a grown man dawg come holla
All you did is slap hands, smile and swolla
Another one of them little X pills in front of me
And tell me 50 Cent was everything you wanna be
NOBODY can say that that wasn't an insane verse. He killed Ja's carrer with that, litterally. Ja hasn't released anything since his beef with Eminem and the rest of Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit records. And that was back in like 2004.
